Don't Trust the Pictures!
To be honest, the room was just so-so. The bed was super uncomfortable and I ended up getting up early instead of sleepung in because of it. The shower water kept on leaking into the bathroom floor and the floor itself was already slippery. We paid for the deluxe room and specified that it was for 2 people, but they only prepared for one and we ended up having to go down the lobby to request needed items. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself needs maintenance.

If I could I wish I cancelled. Over priced, no show shuttle bus, broken door, dirty, unclean. I wouldn’t have wasted my money on this and asking for a refund. Tourists beware.

The location is good, the room we got was amazing with a really good beach view in the 6th floor and at the end of the corridor (very quiet). Because corona and because no membership we couldnt use the swimming pool and other facilities. Also no restaurant open. But delivery food is allowed.

The surcharge for the pool should be noted in their advertising. There was a strange and bad smell coming from outside the window. The buffet breakfast is somewhat limited. Otherwise very comfortable.

Jeju Weekend Vacation
This was our first trip to Jeju and we opted to try the Raon. We experienced issues with a damaged shower, but the staff quickly allowed us to move to a different room. Staff is very customer-oriented and friendly. Having a 7-11 convenience store in the lobby really came in handy during our stay. Only drawback with the location is that it is not near any shopping areas or restaurants so it is best to get a rental car -- nearest ones are located at the beach which is 1.5 km away. The beach is a really nice one with excellent views of the nearby island. There is also a unique stone statue park near the beach that is relaxing and interesting to walk through.

Excellent experience
Nice hotel. Decent, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Due to a mix up at check-in resulting from language difficulties they gave me free tickets to the pool, the Ma Park horse show, the zoo and gokarting which I thought was very generous. For this reason I couldn’t give any less than 5 stars. The free airport shuttle is very convenient as it’s about an hour away. You can walk to the beach in less than half an hour and it’s safe to do so. The breakfast was ok, but it’s quite Korean, no pastries. I would certainly recommend this hotel, especially if you want to play golf.

1)We went there for my daughter's 5th birthday, i told the receptionist and shown her the passport. i asked if there any small gift for her, she said no, not even a balloon nor lollipop.2) we have some take away and wanna reheat the food,but the manager said they cant do, i need to go down to the convenience store.3) i asked for a spoon and they said they dont have any,but they do have f&b on 1st floor. 4) i choose this hotel, because it has indoor swimming and gym. but they all costs unreasonable price (around usd 15 for swimming) i think its because all the facilities are mean to serve the members not the hotel guests, that's why they charge at high price to avoid hotel guest to use these facilities. Not recommend to those who plan to book this hotel.

The room was great, but the hotel is a ways away from anything. The two restaurants we visited on the grounds were both overpriced and very disappointing with tiny selections, and what we chose was just ok (no where near the value for what we paid). The water park/swimming pool is a complete rip off. Total waste of money. Many features of it did not even work properly (lazy river). The water park was very minimal and very run down. It would of been worth the effort of going to the nearby beaches.

Luxury Building!! The hotel building is brand new!! So all facilities are very clean, luxury. Spa and Sauna is free of charge, but waterpark swimming pool is about 8 GBP. Also there is a Tax free luxury quality shopping centre.

Luxury Building!! The hotel building is brand new!! So all facilities are very clean, luxury. Spa and Sauna is free of charge, but waterpark swimming pool is about 8 GBP. Also there is a Tax free luxury quality shopping centre.
It is a really luxury hotel and good foods!!!! Near seashore on the sands!!!
If it is in London, it would be over 500GBP per night.
If I have a chance to visit Jeju, definitely I want to visit Roan Hotel again, also recommend friend strongly!!

객실 면적은 넓은 편이고 청결한 축에 속하나 샤워기가 제대로 고정되지 않아서 샤워 중 저절로 떨어지거나 샤워칸 문이 덜컥 거리는 등 시설관리가 미비하였고 냉장고 온도를 제일 낮게 맞춰진 줄 모르고 보관한 과일 등 시원하지 않아서 불편하였음.

협재 해변과 차로 10분거리, 외딴곳에 있어 밤에 운전하고 들어오기 무섭다. 주변에 식당이 없고 요리해 먹을 주방이 없으므로 그 부분이 불편했다. 하지만 멋진 숙소, 최고의 뷰, 넓은 방, 저렴한 가격으로 또 방문의향 있습니다. 아시다시피 제주는 아무리 먼 곳을 가도 1시간 운전 하면 갈 수 있기 때문에 외딴곳 숙소여도 문제 없음.

샤워실 문을 닫고 씻었는데 물 배수가 안됐어요. 그리고는 나와서 보니 세면대가 있는 욕실에도 물이 첨벙첨벙할정도였고 바로 이어져나오는 신발 놓는 곳 부터 침실쪽까지 물이 다 흘러나왔어요.

워낙 오래된 건물임을 감안하고 가격이 저렴한 숙소이기에 기대는 안했지만, 방안 먼지때문에 힘들었고 가구도 너무 낡고 부서진 상태였습니다. 규모에 비해 아까운 호텔.

문열고 들어서자마자 룸 전체 찌든 담배 냄새에 숨쉬기가 불쾌했습니다. 물론 금연인데도 담배를 핀 투숙객들의 문제겠지요. 하지만 후속조치는 호텔의 몫입니다. 그대로 다음 손님을 받는건 호텔측 무책임이라고 생각합니다. 난방도 온풍기뿐입니다. 바닥 난방도 안되고 침대 전기장판이 있는것도 아니고 혹시나해서 로비 직원분에게 문의해봐는데 온풍기뿐이라는 답변만 받았습니다. 전 건조한 편이라 혹시나 해서 작은 건조기를 가져갔는데도 너무 건조했습니다. 유일하게 좋은건 침대 입니다. 크고 퀄리티가 좋았습니다.

숙소는 매번 제주에 자전거 여행을 할때마다 방문하는 장소입니다. 아쉬운점이 이번에 방문한 룸은 샤워실 물이 계속 넘처흘러서 너무 힘들었습니다. 자전거 여행중이라 힘들어서 방 바꿀 생각도 못했네요. 열심히 고쳐주신점은 고맙지만 아무리 가성비 좋더라도 이렇게 시설이 불량하면 이제는 다시 오기가 힘들것 같아요.

저는 8월말 예약을 했고, 오로지 아이와 함께라서 온수풀 보고 결정을 내렸습니다. 온수풀과 사우나 ,조식 식당 전부 이용하지 못한다는 공문조차 본 적이 없습니다.
호텔 닷컴에서도 보면 온수풀 사진이 메인으로 나와있어요.
9월 11일 운영진 전체가 바뀌었다고 합니다.
전혀 어떤 공지도 하지 않았습니다. 사진 메인에서도 온수풀 사진은 내려야 하는거 아닌지요 ? 심지어 오후 10시 이후에는 프론트에도 사람이 없고, 편의점도 하지 않습니다.
차를 가지고 15분정도 나가야 아침식사가 가능합니다.

9월 11일 운영진 전체가 바뀌었다고 합니다.
전혀 어떤 공지도 하지 않았습니다. 사진 메인에서도 온수풀 사진은 내려야 하는거 아닌지요 ? 심지어 오후 10시 이후에는 프론트에도 사람이 없고, 편의점도 하지 않습니다.
차를 가지고 15분정도 나가야 아침식사가 가능합니다.
