A nice quiet location but just a short drive into town and into Point Pelee National Park. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Rooms were spacious and clean and there were plenty of amenities especially for children. Would certainly recommend it.

We booked this for a brief stay to visit Point Pelee, with our toddler. The pool was a main reason we chose the hotel, only to find it closed for maintenance for several days when we arrived. It was disappointing to say the least. The staff were not very apologetic. It would have been nice to receive a email about the pool being closed. The room was fine, bed was comfortable. Basic furniture on the balcony would have been nice to be able to sit out.

Kids loved the pool and climbing area.
If you are big into the arcade games, only a couple were working and the rest were out of order. We traveled with two under 4 and received a courtesy call from the front desk around 8pm. Very thoughtful but bad timing…Woke the kids up. Breakfast was quite expensive for a small, but tasty, buffet. No kids menu. Staff was great. Would come back.

Do not stay here. It is a dumpster fire. Read the Google reviews. They’re not exaggerating. Other than the elevators not working and the front desk not knowing the elevators were not working was when I was told that housekeeping was ‘on demand’ and when the pool drains overflowed into the pool.

2 nights over March Break. Hotel was at capacity, and the staff tried their best. HVAC wasn't working on the interior rooms but we were provided a fan promptly. Great place to stay if you have young kids. 10:00 p.m. quiet hour was strongly enforced.

This was our second stay, I was disappointed at this last vacation and even more because my first visit was such a great experience.
Our room wasn’t the one I thought I was booking, the description was misleading to understand what “kind” I was choosing. Wasn’t able to switch at time of check due to pre-registering, which I had never done but thought “how convienent”. Our bathroom had no shampoo or body soap in the tub which was a lovely surprise once a person had gone into the shower and soaked their hair only to realize

The condition of the pool was very poor. Many parts of the ceiling were missing or damaged, some of the flooring was peeled off, it’s very questionable how they pass the safety.

Stayed here for my daughter’s birthday. The large playground and atrium was a good space that we got a lot of use out of. The hotel property is on the older side but still is a good space for young kids. However, we were very disappointed that the pool was very cold and that the waterslides do not run unless it’s Friday or Saturday. Had we known that we would have gone different days.

Staff were pleasant and yhe amenties were great. We had breakfast at the restaurant on site and it was really yummy and accommodating for our families gluten free needs. While our room had a bit of a musty smell, it was clean and comfortable. We were on the ground floor off the atrium and it was quite loud until midnight or later. If you need a quieter space just take that into consideration. The pool was fun but there are height restrictions for the slides meaning you cant be too tall or too short. Older kids wouldn't be able to ride the slides and would only be able to swim. Lots of activities in the atrium though like ping pong, basketball, pool tables, ar ade type games. Great for families needing a staycation or a central spot for a visit. Only a 5-10 minute drive into Leamington to restaurants. 3 minute drive to the marina.

Run down in the main areas, especially stairways. The coldest pool and pool area- basically unusable, which was a huge disappointment. Hot tub wasnt working and looks like thats how it is on the regular. Had 2 dogs and 2 kids and was placed on the third floor. Staff was okay, checked us in and our. Never bothered to ask if we needed anything or how my stay was when I checked out. Overall, I wont be going back. Mainly due to the cold and unusable pool area. Was planning 2 more trips back later this year as its close to my in laws and we are from out of town, but we may as well stay in windsor and take the kids to a playground.

We stayed for 2 nights from a Saturday to Monday recently. Upon booking, I received a message from the hotel advising that the waterslides were open daily from 2-9pm. When we arrived on the Saturday, our 3.5 year old enjoyed the waterslide for an hour or two which was great. However, Sunday when we went in the afternoon there were no towels on the shelf, nor any staff. The front desk told me the slides are actually only open Friday and Saturday. This was incredibly disappointing to our kiddo. With that, there is no washroom nearby the pool, so any quick washroom trips are impossible unless you have a first floor atrium room. The pool area air is cool, which I can imagine only gets worse as the winter goes on - there were several cracks in the back wall/ceiling it looks like their working on but definitely let outside air in.

We had some rain/snow during our stay, which we noticed leaking water in the atrium/play area had buckets to collect the water. The pool tables do not have a complete set of balls so not possible to actually play a proper game.

Breakfast area crazy busy on Sunday morning, unable to get a table at 8:30am.

Room was nice enough and suited our needs, but definitely hotel amenities need some work. I truly wish they disclosed the waterslide timing better because that would have affected our plans during our stay. Very disappointed with that.

The room had no air conditioning my daughter did not sleep at all as it was 25 degrees in the room. The room smelt musky and the carpet was lifting. This was room 227. My daughter was disappointed when she wanted to go down the slide in the pool and the lady said the slide was for little kids.. there was no one in the the pool and it was her birthday. They should really let booking customers know this information 🙄. I mentioned all this when we were checking out and the staff said she would contact me after talking to her supervisor. This was on Saturday morning , I waited till Tuesday and still had heard nothing so ,I called and left a voicemail with the manager. And still have not heard back. It is not Thursday. I very excited to stay at the hotel but this is unacceptable with the price you pay for a room. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. They need to lower there prices or fix major problems.

Great family-friendly layout, but definitely in need of some repairs and updating. There was mold on the ceiling in our original room, and front desk staff was quick to accommodate a room change. Next room was better, but still was a bit worn down. Pool was a bit murky, and we were not aware of the 4 foot height limit to use the water slides until after booking. Staff were lovely. The building just needs some work.

The hotel is easy to find and the closest to the national park so it was great to visit daily and close drive to downtown and waterfront. Dining available. Lots of parking available. Games room is great. Nice pool but gets very loud with kids using the slide on weekends or when doing construction. Pet friendly. Only complaint was \"patio\" consisted of 2 patio stones and a tree on each side to the curb parking in front of room.Wouldn't consider it a patio as couldn't sit there with chairs because the car is right in front. Non patio room guests parked in front of ours so was annoyed we had to squeeze around their car. Will pick a balcony another time with more room. Will only clean room only as requested at check in.

We liked the hotel; My 4 years old had so much fun on the pool and waterslide.
We just had a little problem with our room; We got a room with two queen beds, one for my husband and I and one for our son; when we moved the bed close to the wall so my son wouldn't fall out during the night, we noticed dirt under the bed, the towels weren't folded either when we arrived, and some pieces of paper right at the entrance to the room. Apart from that incident, everything is great.

Our room had a mouldy smell and it was dusty under the bed. We had not enough towels for the number of people but after we asked the stuff, they placed the towels in front of our door which they should not do either. On our first day we grabbed some coffee and noticed that the water in the machines was cold. Lucky to us the bar lady was kind to give us hot water.

The area the hotel is in has zero cell service. They say they have wifi but it doesn’t stay connected. When I asked the desk about it I was told it was probably not working because there was “a lot of people” there. I feel that the wifi should be able to accommodate a fully booked hotel. Other than that this hotel is very much average in rating. I could not find what the “plus” was here

The pool was nice for the kids and the play area. The height restrictions is unfortunate on the water slides and that it applies for both slides and not just one of the slides. Over this hotel does the trick but it needs updating. It needs paint touch ups, wallpaper is peeling slightly in some spots and the rooms, especially the 3rd floor hallway smell like complete mold. It is an undeniable smell. Lobby is a good size, lots of seating. Parking was no issue. This hotel is not super close to ammenities but also not far as Leamington is not a large place. I also didn't like that there was no garbage can in the bathroom only a small garbage can in the room part. I would stay here again but it wouldn't be my first choice for cleanliness wise.

There was nothing terrible about the service or our stay. I requested a crib and was told they could deliver a \"baby prison\" within half hour. It never arrived.
I was concerned by the dampness in our room. Everything felt a little undry?
I didn't feel like the play structure got a lot of regular cleaning either but I may be wrong.

Poor service / not friendly at check in. Minimal conversation, lacked a sense of welcome. When I was given my room, it had an overwhelming musty and mildew smell. It was unbearable. While I was happy that the front desk understood my concern and relocated me to a new room within an hour, I was very disappointed when the front desk staff reinforced their complete awareness of the room smell. When I shares my concerns, the reply was, “oh yeah those rooms on that side don’t get ventilated very well and it gets so hot and the AC struggles so it all just drips on the ceiling and it can get musty smelling.” Horribly disappointing to know that staff (and assuming administration) is aware of this issue but yet a) don’t do anything about it and b) continue to put guests into these rooms. While my new room had no smell and good AC, ALL staircases and hallways ALWAYS had a smell. Sometimes musty, sometimes a cleaner smell but you could tell it covering up cat or dog pee or something similar. Very uncomfortable overall. Carpets are disgusting as well. We appreciated the games and amenities of the hotel, but the overall cleanliness is turning me away from ever booking there again, which is sad. Something needs to be done.

The hotel was nice but being on the first floor being in the first hotel room made it easy to hear everyone that passed by and it got noisy. The bed sunk in a bit in the middle and there was some hair when I went to shower.
