The hotel is located in the very city centre of Joensuu, close to everything. You get good value for your money. The breakfast buffet is really nice, and the restaurant in the cellar offers nice food for a decent price.
The only negative thing is that my room was not made when I returned back to the hotel at 4 pm. The following day, the room was made at my return.

The rooms were very comfortable and I got a good nights sleep. The staff on reception, in the restaurant, and cleaners were all professional and welcoming.My Finnish is not good at all and the receptionists, spoke good English and were a great help and very patient with any translation issues I had. The breakfast was ample, and the evening meal in the restaurant, was good. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has had a revamp since I last stayed there. Parking is limited behind the hotel but you can park on street after 6pm and before 8am so this wasn't an issue for me. Rooms are clean and good size. Self Service Breakfast is served in lower level restaurant and was ideal and catered for ceoliacs. Its central location has one downside which is the noise at night. Other than that I had a good stay and will return again for my next visit.

Great location, walking distance from the train station. The hotel is well located in the centre of town, making it easy for us to go for a walk to see the pretty town as we were only there for one night.

This is a nice hotel close to the city center for Joensuu. The hotel is clean, with very good staff service. Breakfast was included and the rooms were clean and well maintained. Traveling here in the summer means you need \"black-out\" curtains at night since it does not really get dark. The hotel here thought of this (very good to keep the room dark at night). I was traveling here for business but would stay here with my family.

Hotel is central in Joensuu area and was ideal for my visit. The hotel has very few parking spaces behind the hotel. I had to park in a nearby car park which is free after 6pm until 8pm. Breakfast is self service and it caters for all your needs. The rooms are very clean and look like they have been recently renovated.

A two-night stay at the recently renovated hotel, the hotel room itself was really nice and looked neat. On the other hand, the breakfast was served in the bistro style restaurant on the basement, which wasn't the same style and fashion as the rest of the hotel. The bistro was a bit overpriced for the quality they served. I'm saying the food was okay, but the price level was higher than expected, even with Finnish (high) prices. Prices on Helsinki downtown restaurants are similar (I'm a native Finn) but with better food quality, so if you're in the haste like we were it is an option.

Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Aamiainen monipuolinen. Viallista kirjoituspöydän lamppua ei korjattu, vaikka ilmoitimme siitä infoon ja myös siivoojille ja yövyimme kaksi yötä. Huone liian viileä, jopa kylmä. Piti ottaa kylpytakki lisäpeitoksi. Jos energiaa pitää säästää voisitte hankkia lisähuopia huoneisiin. Kahvi-, tee- ja kaakaopussitäydennystä ei suoritettu päivittäin. Ihan perus Scandic. Hinta-laatu-suhde oli kohtalainen. Huone oli epämiellyttävä, koska siellä oli vain yksi epämiellyttävä istuin. Jos halusi löhötä tai jalat koholleen, piti mennä sänkyyn röhnöttämään. Aaminainen oli pienin ja onnettomin, jota olen tähän asti nähnyt. Sinänsä hotelliin kirjautuminen ja yöpyminen sujuivat oikein näppärästi, eli liikematkalaiselle ihan passeli.

Recommendable except for the parking
Not the most modern venue in Joensuu but clean and well maintained anyway. Location is excellent in downtown. Big disappointment was the hotel parking that was advertised as free. It was free but obviously too small for demand, so it was fully booked every evening. My room was big, especially the bathroom was about the size of a small hotel room. It was an \"accessible room\", although I did not ask for it. I consider it an upgrade. The breakfast was excellent to my taste.

Ihan mukava hotelli. Pääsisäänkäynti tosi ”näkymätön” ajoin parkkiin sisäänkäynnin puolelle kadulle enkä huomannut scandicin logoa koska se oli pieni ja valkea vaan kävelin ensin torin puoleisen reunan missä oli iso punainen logo. Huoneessa oli yöllä 26 astetta ja jäähdytys laite käyttö oli aika epäselvä varsinkin kun yritti yöllä pudottaa lämpöä. Myöskään huoneeseen sisältyvä tabletti ei käynnistynyt kokeiltaessa. Aamupalalla olisimme toivoneet tuotteiden sisällöstä tietoa esim smoothie. Mutta kaikenkaikkiaan viihdyimme hotellissa, henkilökunta neuvoi hyvin pysäköinnin ja oli kohtelias joka paikassa. nämä olivat vain pikku huomioita.
