Since we went on a business trip, they came to the hotel only to spend the night. The room was large enough, we did not feel cramped. Loved the breakfasts, plentiful and hearty. The area where the hotel is located is quiet and calm.

Good central location on Las Ramblas if one does not mind the underground & car noise. The drainage smell was not pleasant. The staff was friendly. The bedding was very clean but did smell musky which stopped me from sleeping. Stained rugs is not pleasant also.

The Hotel was cold on a chilly Saturday afternoon and night. It was ok on Sunday.
The decor is a real time warp from the early 1970's, surprising really since the hotel was built much later than this.
The breakfast offering was wide and varied, as much as you can eat; some people really did their best to get an Olympic medal for bingeing.
The room did have odours of stale tobacco; not good for non smokers.
Overall it was an ok price for an ok place.

This is a very nice hotel located on the river in Joensuu. However, when you book economy rooms you may be located in the unrenovated rooms. They are ok, but the windows do not open and they are run down. The renovated rooms are very nice. I stay in this hotel for the wonderful sauna and small indoor pool as well as the quiet location on the river.

Autolla saapuminen oli hieman hämmentävää, kun hotellin sisäänkäynnin edustalla ei ollut pysäköintimahdollisuutta (kaikki jättöpaikat olivat varattuja) ja ainoat muut pysäköintipaikat olivat inva-paikkoja tai busseille varattua tilaa. Sisään kirjautuessani kävi ilmi, että luonteva pysäköintiratkaisuni ei ollutkaan hotellin suosittelema.

Wirklich sehr bemühtes Team an der Rezeption! Wenn man ein Frühstückspaket zum Mitnehmen aufgrund der frühen Abreise braucht oder wenn das Schließfach im Spa-Bereich gestört ist, jemand von der Rezeption organisiert das und zwar wirklich rasch und umkompliziert. Großartig!

Excellent riverside location between the railway station and the city center. Very short walking distance to the city center but rental bikes are available, too. Cozy rooms with self-adjustable air-conditioning and ventilation windows. The refrigerator of our room was quite loud. Good breakfast with local specialties like Karelian rice pastries and banana-chocolate cake by a local bakery. The restaurant with a large summer terrace is good. The pampering spa department is with an extra charge.

Kimmel = Himmel, sano saksalainen. Ainoa minus on että hotellista/lähistöltä ei saa yöllä mitään ruokaa eli kannattaa varata jotain sapuskaa huoneeseen mikäli meinaa käydä viikonloppuyönä hotellin yökerhossa.

Hotellin henkilökunta oli iloista, ystävällistä ja toimi reippaasti. Hei alusta alkaen oli tervetullut olo.Huone oli siisti perushotellihuone, joka riitti yhden yön majoitukseen mainiosti. Isot ikkunat, joissa hyvä äänieristys, koska ikkunan takana olevan tien liikenne ei kuulunut sisään ollenkaan. Eikä liian kuuma, lämpötilaa saattoi itsekin säätää patterista.
Ainoa miinus oli valaistus; huoneessa oli vain pieni pöytälamppu ja nurkassa jalkalamppu. Sängyn päätyyn olisin kaivannut lukulamppua.
