I like the staff, especially Amanjeet and Mustafa from the reception. They are very helpful and make things easier and more smoothly. The area is very good; there are many coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. I will definitely stay again.
جلست في الفندق ليلة، رائع، ومصطفى وأمانجيت من الاستقبال كانوا متعاونين جدا. تحيط بالفندق الكثير من المقاهي والمطاعم، فمكانه رائع. الشيء الوحيد الذي لم يعجبني هو حمام الغرفة. ولكن مع ذلك، يستحق الفندق أن أسكن فيه من جديد.

Excellent hotel. Staff were great, clean and overall very nice. Only issue was that the rooms are not sound proofed. Could hear the next door couple and their intimate talks and more during the night.

Hotel listened and acted

Stay started with a low key welcome at check in. Allergy arrangements that had been requested on booking where lost. However when I complained I got a phone call from the Manager Mr. Salim who was very helpful. He helped us move rooms and this made up for the earlier mistake. Mr Salim's willingness to call and help us made the stay much better. This showed an open ear to guest and a readiness to act on their feedback.

Very smart hotel, right on the beach. Lovely spacious rooms, excellent choice of food and beautiful pool and spa area. Service was slightly haphazard, especially in the restaurants, which seemed understaffed. Full marks to the chef in the Thai restaurant though - he coped magnificently entirely on his own and served up some very tasty and authentic Thai dishes.

Sohar Radisson Blu hotel

Overloaded staff and so give false promises. Very cooperative but can’t cope with busy bookings and customers demands and expectations. Waited 3hrs for check in ( note that we offered while waiting to stay in business lounge where seats were covered with stains and some of its cloths are teared off), and 2hrs to get our luggage’s down and still we did it ourselves. Breakfast has no guidance and lack of management skills. Food is fair.

Nice hotel to stay

Nice place to stay.
Great outdoor pools to enjoy swimming, reading, taking a rest with family. Staffs are very kind and helpful.
All are very good.
One thing to note that there is a beach access but there is a safety issue as many local people drive by 4x4 vehicles there. I think it is out of hotel’s control.

Awesome Gem on the Coast..

It was an amazing hotel.. Located far away from the city hustle bustle... calm, quiet and serene surroundings.. a treat for someone who is looking for some time to relax and rejuvenate..
The only downside was the check-in/check-out counters were under-staffed...

Sea view room with a large balcony was great.
Nothing around the hotel to see. Shops or parks.

Expectation has been met.

The hotel is right at the edge of the sea and I'd always enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place whenever I am there. Staff are helpful and the food is surprisingly good. Will definitely return.

Caring, friendly hotel staff -- and great location

Having needed to return to Sohar earlier than planned for some unexpected needed medical attention, I chose to go on an out-patient basis treatment at a hospital that the hotel was close to. Much to my pleasant surprise, the hotel and its staff took a special interest in meeting my particular heath needs, including dietary requirements and unconventional schedule. I felt really cared for and I am grateful for their help in my recovery.

The property is top notch But ..

We had a one night stay in a business class room with a balcony that looked out over the pool and the beach, The property is top notch, rooms are so clean and they upgraded my stay to business for a good deal But ..This hotel doesn't have a private beach, so as the beach is a public many local omanis are keep driving with their four wheels and beach buggy making incredible noise.
The funny thing is that during my stay there was a gathering event and they put loudspeakers in front of the sea side rooms and the DJ was very excited and really he had a remarkable voice that he wake me up. Adding to this, kids accompanying their parents in this event start jumping in the swimming pool with their underwear !!! so we couldn't use the pool....
I blame the hotel management as they should inform us in advance about such arrangement.
Here is my advice, don't go on a weekend as the place is so noisy.

Die Anlage ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen und schlecht gewartet. Am Strand vor dem Hotel haben wir eine benutze Spritze gefunden, am Pool lagen rostige Schrauben. Die Toiletten am Pool wurden den ganzen Tag nicht gereinigt. Mängel im Zimmer waren ebenfalls vorhanden.

Schönes großes Zimmer mit Balkon. Leichte Gebrauchsspuren. Großer Pool und Fitnessraum. Die Halbpension war in Ordnung, hätte aber für ein fünf Sterne Hotel noch etwas besser sein können. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Insgesamt ein sehr sehr schönes und angenehmes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und haben sehr gute und breite Betten. Die Poollandschaft ist sehr schön angelegt und bietet ausreichend Gelegenheit zum schwimmen. Hervorzuheben ist das stets sehr, sehr freundliche und hilfsbreite Personal in allen Bereichen. Sowohl das Frühstücks- als auch das abendliche Bufet ist sehr, sehr gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Gigantisch. Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas \"abseits\", dafür aber direkt am Meer. Die Lage hat uns jedoch in keinster Weise gestört. Vom Hotel aus kann man sehr schöne Spaziergänge entlang des Strandes machen und in Richtung Süden (stadtwärts) erreicht man eine Promenade mit einem kleinen Park wo sich die Einheimischen gerne einfinden. In nördlicher Richtung kommt man dabei an kleinen Orten mit Fischereiwirtschaft vorbei. Sehr interessant!
