Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! First time in the Bahamas booked this hotel and loved it will be coming back! Service is amazing and friendly. Place is very clean. Hotel has a swim up bar and cooked breakfast every morning which was a plus! The Atlantis access was amazing! Short walk and access to the beach was a plus. Overall had an amazing experience!

The room I booked was NOT available, the facility had leaking ceilings throughout the property, terrible smell, very old and can be rated as a One star since they did provide an OK breakfast and daily passes to Atlantis. Very bad customer service, this place is a pure DUMP!!! Atlantis itself a horrible venue, so outdated, POOR Customer service, most of the staff are RUDE and dismissive. DO NOT Pay money and DO NOT GO there. I don't get all the hype about Atlantis Bahamas, go find better places to visit!

This hotel wasn’t bad but it definitely needs slit if upgrade to the rooms. The carpets are old and look nasty and the shades by window. The t.v also didn’t have much options on shoes. Nice hotel but just can go for a make over. Staff was polite. Food was excellent.

Hotel needs A LOT of love - rooms are very dated, hallways are poorly air conditioned with a musty smell, water pressure is poor, rooms's AC unit was noisy, free breakfast was gross (watery eggs, awful coffee, strange looking sausages) - maybe good for college students on spring break or a bachelor's party, but otherwise spend the extra money if you can and stay somewhere nicer.

Overall our stay at Comfort Suites was really good. The staff was friendly, everyone always greeted us, the breakfast had a good variety of options (eggs,sausage/bacon, potato’s, yogurt, oatmeal, pastries, fruit, toast, cereal ..etc) great especially if you have a picky toddler. The access to Atlantis was a big bonus, which was only a short walk over, and considering how big Atlantis is, it felt like it was part of the resort. You do have to get the wristbands everyday before 10am, which wasn’t a big deal. We didn’t have any issues with water pressure or bugs as some reviews mentioned, there was some leakage in the hallways from the rain, but they tended to it immediately and it did not affect our stay. Our only complaint was about the wifi, saying it was slower than dial up would be generous, nothing loaded. If you needed internet, you would need to use it at 7am when everyone is asleep. We ended up purchasing an eSIM with data because we got fed up. Nevertheless, we’re happy we went with Comfort Suites, and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants all the perks of Atlantis, without the hefty price tag.

She was very accommodating and made sure that our needs were met. The daily breakfast and the swim up bar were also great. This is my second time staying at the Comfort Suites and both me & my boyfriend enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good & had fruit everyday. Having the option to put our bags in the luggage room was very convenient & helped us out a lot. The best part was the access to Atlantis & the gym there especially for the last day of our stay. The only downside to staying here was the ceilings were leaking everyday on the third floor.

Breakfast was just waffles, eggs, toast and cereal. Warm orange and apple juice. That’s it. Cleaning staff was amazing, nice, but the regular staff was not nice. Room itself wasn’t in good shape, and the property reeks of mold smell everywhere. They are fighting the smell by installing air freshener sprays everywhere, but those just barely make it tolerable. The walk to the closet Atlantis pool is 1 klm, we did the measurements through our watches, and you have to log in and sign with the Atlantis each day to get access. Not like before when we got it for the duration of your stay. The walk to that is roughly 1.5 klm. All in all the free breakfast is not worth staying at this place over the Atlantis hotel.

The food selection for dinner was limited and not that tasty, but having access to the atlantis water park was what made it worth it.

I liked that we had free access to Atlantis, free breakfast, and the coupons for the restaurant were nice.

The check in process was annoying. We had to stand in line for 30 minutes. Check in is 3pm and our room wasn’t ready until 3:45. Also a lot of maintenance in the hotel.

Comfort Suites staff are pretty great. One waitress was attentive & not a happy person.
Having Atlantis passes is a great perk!
Free breakfast is nice & consists of :
scrambled eggs, either sausages or bacon, potatoes or grits, oatmeal, melon, waffles, cereals, toast & varied pastries. Coffee , tea & juice ,too.
Hotel had roof leaks, unfortunately. The hallways ended up with buckets & trash cans catching the water.
Overall, the stay was good, staff wonderful except one waitress...

Loved that we could use Atlantis. Breakfast was pretty decent. Toilet did not work. The hall was very hot. The check in process was not ideal. We requested rooms together and called 2 times and were told they had them blocked only to find out they did not. We had 2 rooms between our families and my wife and myself had to sleep in different rooms.

We had room 250 and when we arrived we were super excited we were checking out our room we opened the sliding doors in the room and when we went to close the doors it wouldn’t lock we had to then go to the front desk so they could send someone from maintenance to fix the sliding doors as we were in the lower level and couldn’t leave the door unlocked! Definitely not how you want to start your vacation having to wait to get the door fixed instead of going out to enjoy and eat after a long flight! . 2nd issue the TV didn’t work properly and you could hardly see the channels once again disappointed as we wanted to unwind before bed and 3rd and final episode we had water dripping from the bathroom ceiling and couldn’t bathe nor use the bathroom granted it was our last day and they provided a key to the hospitality room but it was the inconvenience of not being able to use the bathroom in your room and having to go to another area to be able to bathe and use the bathroom because of water coming from the ceiling both in the bathroom and in the hallway ceiling in front of our room.. They had to put a bucket in the hallway to catch water dripping from the ceiling!! Awful experience!!

We enjoyed our stay at Comfort Suites. The property was well maintained, but the hotel rooms could be maintained better. The mattresses could be updated as my parents had to request a new mattress due to how much of a roller coaster it felt. The shower water at times just stopped at least 3 days of our trip.
However, we would highly recommend staying at Comfort Suites - it is a no brainer being able to use so many amenities of the Atlantis. We had a wonderful trip and appreciate the kindness of all Comfort Suites staff and complimentary breakfast.

You are steps away from Atlantis with full access, but without the price tag. You do give up a view of the water at night, but after a full day in the sun and swimming, we were ready to shower, sleep and be good to go for another beautiful day. This hotel also has a very nice complimentary breakfast each morning. The cost of food and drink at Atlantis are a major consideration so this is really nice. We've been twice now and plan to visit again.

Pros: The location is incredibly convenient and an easy walk to Atlantis. The amenities were good, the AC was decent, and the staff was absolutely fantastic—very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
CONS:
Unfortunately, we ran into several major issues with our first room. We found roaches in the room multiple times, there was no fan in the restroom, and when I untucked the bed, the duvet cover had visible pee stains on it. To make matters worse, we returned to our room one day to find the entire place flooding from the upstairs bathroom. It dripped all over our toothbrushes and quickly spread onto one of the beds, forcing us to move our belongings incredibly fast. While a flood isn't entirely predictable, the management handled the compensation poorly. They moved us to a new room but only offered a $50 credit for the hotel restaurant. Given the severity of a flood ruining our room and items, a credit toward the actual room rate would have been much more appropriate. The New Room:
Interestingly, the second room we were moved to was night and day compared to the first. It was a newer version, much better equipped, the Wi-Fi actually worked perfectly, and they even left us fruit and cookies.
Final Verdict:
There are definitely pros and cons here. Because the staff was so great and the second room was nice, I would maybe consider coming back—but only if I could guarantee getting one of their updated rooms, not the old version.

This hotel was absolutely terrible. The conditions sucked; we had barely any water the whole stay and we were woken up by a “false alarm” fire alarm 2 nights out the 3 we were there. The hotel smelled horrible throughout the hallways, and there were roaches near the vending machines that didn’t even have water in them. The rooms were clean though, and the only reason you might want to stay here is for the free Atlantis passes. However, it isn’t worth it at all. Next time, I will be staying at Atlantis because it’s totally worth it compared to this dump.

This property let us check in early at 11:30 am which we really appreciate. was about a 5 min walk to Atlantis and marina walk(and starbucks). Need new wristbands everyday. Crusoe’s restau not vegan friendly at all- had white wine pasta with veggies $25 USD which looked so sad but we were hungry. No vegan or dairy free milk at breakfast but had fresh fruits. Microwave provided on request. $60 USD taxi 3 people and luggages from and to airport. $20 usd to strawmarket for 3 people. Taxis add $5 after the first 2 passengers.
Location 3 min walk from complex with a mini mart, liquor store and dunkin donuts (which had oatmilk). Staff was very friendly, cleaned the room everyday👌no room service but provided 2 bottles of water per room daily. No house slippers/robes/bodywash so bring your own otherwise plenty of towels.

Staff were friendly. However, son got sick one night and I had asked for staff to come get the linens out of our room. I was told someone would be up to take care of it. Staff never showed up until the scheduled room service the next day. Hotel itself is really run down. There is an odor throughout the property. Water pressure for the shower was not good. At one point, the water just turned off. I had to wait for it to come back on.
First day there was a rain storm. They had roof work being done. The whole third floor in the main wing had water coming through the ceiling. It appeared later in the week, they were just painting over the damaged caused by the water. Hotel needs a lot of work and renovation. We wish we would have spent a little more to stay on resort.

Not only did it stink it was extremely wet and as we all was by water splashed down on us
The TV in the room did not work

And I saw a big roach or water bug in the hallway by our room

We finally had to request management

Staff was great especially Front desk Darrens. Property was experiencing a really bad leak so property didn't look the greatest. We tried to turn the tv on the first night and it did not work and the toilet did not flush very well. We called at like 9pm and they did they would send someone but no one came. The next day we called again in the morning before going out and a new remote was there but toilet still had issues until we checked out. Remote still was acting up so we didnt even watch tv our while time there. Also cause of the leak tried to take alittle early nap around 5pm could hear people working on it upstairs and dragging stuff around. Stay was ok could have been better but we were next door at atlantis majority of the time. So it worked out.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning was great. The breakfast was good. The bacon was the best cooked bacon I’ve had it was crispy, but not overcooked. The grits were great too!! This hotel needs a little remodel they need to remove the carpet from the halls and also the carpet area in the rooms. The carpets smell is old and dirty. The staff try their best to keep it clean, but it’s just too old and smelly.

Our room smelled like mold as soon as you walked in, they were doing construction in the Room room above us till about 7 o'clock every night. Our TV did not work properly with the remote and it had a very snowy picture. The staff was excellent whatever you needed they came and brought you. Going down to the pool every morning though you didn't get a towel till at least 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

Upon arrival, the hotel staff was busy, but they did a good job accommodating everyone. The issue started as soon as we got off the elevator on the east wing of hotel 3rd floor because the hallway had an overpowering mildew smell that literally hurts our lungs when the elevator doors open. The AC in the room wasn’t circulating upon arrival, but we figured just give it a little bit of time since we just arrived. We wanted to get washed up and head out to get something to eat but we noticed when we were washing our hands. The sink was clogged. Next tried to take a shower, the pipes were loud and had a consistent rattling sound. All that happened within the first two hours of us checking in so decided to walk to a food truck to grab some food to give the room time to cool down. When we got back, it seemed as if it got worse and not better the I decided to call the front desk but when I picked up the phone, the cord was broken. Not a huge problem, I just use the speaker we let the front desk know that our sink was clogged and we were having issues with the shower. A couple hours went by but no one ever showed. I went downstairs to talk to the young lady at the front desk to inform her that nothing has been fixed and the conditions of the hotel were physically effecting us. I have asthma and severe allergies as well as my cousin and it was effecting us too much to continue our stay. One of the staff told me that they just had leaking issues w/rain. The next morning we checked out.

Awful, trash in room from people before us. Shower fixtures not working properly. One had a screw sticking out and grinding on the turn handle, the sound was awful. Breakfast was mediocre at best, everything tasted like cardboard and a few members had food poisoning from it. We only stayed one night and made arrangements elsewhere.

Where do I start...Room #212 smells HORRIBLE! I complained to the manager on duty and she stated there wasn't a smell but she would have some type of spray that would help, never helped! Our friends said that it smelled like it was behind the walls, ironically the Damp commercial came on every other commercial! My husband opened the cabinet next to the fridge and it smelled like DEATH which made it worse, so we made sure not to open that ever again. While taking showers, the bathtub never drained which grossed us out. The rooms need to be updated, they are from the late 80's. The side of the box spring mattress was stained so we were scared to look at the rest of the mattress. If we sat on the end of the bed, it made a loud sound and sort of sunk in. Our sliding door didn't open, like it was off track. Breakfast was grits, eggs, meat, fruit, breads EVERYDAY except the one day there was potatoes instead of grits. Grits were the only thing that saved me. We were given a $50 credit to eat/drink with but weren't given details so we tried to use at The Royal Delicatessen and were denied. Then we tried it at Poseidon's Table and again denied to where it was embarrassing! Staff did provide 2 small bottles of water daily so I guess that was a perk?! The only thing that got me through the week was telling ourselves that we were only there to sleep which was hard because every time we opened that door, it was hard!

Back door to the pool area was jammed, they didn’t have the wet clothes hangline in the bathroom like the sign said it had. The refrigerator didn’t work. The water pressure was low. There was no microwave either so we just didn’t worry about the broken fridge to save food in . It was useless since we could not reheat. No view of the ocean anywhere in hotel. You had to walk 20 min to public beach or go through Atlantis everytime to use their beach. Overall to lay your head at night and have breakfast and WiFi plus access to Atlantis was the only beneficial part of the stay. We only went to Atlantis once and did excursions. So I would stay at a different hotel if I was to come back.

The hotel staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The food and drinks at the restaurant was top tier.

The facilities was a bit dated and the location of the elevator was frustrating.

While an older property it is very well maintained and clean. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job. I have stayed her numerous times mainly for the convenience. The front desk staff is mostly excellent save for one member. Every encounter with this person is subpar. There is no rhyme or reason to his check-in process. I am a Choice Rewards and Expedia VIP. He never provides the VIP benefits. My reservation included a food/beverage credit which he did not provide nor did he acknowledge it. Bringing it up is just a colossal waste of time and is usually met with attitude. I only stay here to rest and shower. Also the Atlantis perk is great but it has become cumbersome to use. Previously you were given access for the entire stay, now you have to check in every day. The free breakfast is a nice perk but after a few days it is just the same options repeated over and over. When the breakfast is offered in the hospitality suite, you should avoid, items are not served at the proper temperatures and it is largely not sanitary.

We loved the friendly staff who catered to our needs, the location plus access to Atlantis and spaciousness of the room, and the free breakfast that really helped us save time and money. Would totally come back to this hotel!

We could tell that the rooms were old, but it was clean and didn’t really matter to us.
