A few items—Ice machine wouldn’t shut off (for another guest— they asked me for help— I suggested they contact front desk, smoke detectors didn’t appear to have batteries, lobby was very cluttered and no coffee or continental breakfast available, pool area (closed) looked like someone’s personal garden, key drop was goofy—a tin bucket screwed into the wall outside the front door. Our stay was ok otherwise, and front desk staff was great! *Room was nicely clean and hotel was pretty quiet. We appreciated that.

DO NOT BOOK! This place is horrific! It is beyond run down! There is no pool. The pool area is a junk yard! There are homeless people roaming around, likely living there. The rooms are scary as hell! Filthy, full of bugs, bodily fluids stained in the chairs and bed. It is so bad! I told the staff they shouldn’t be allowed to rent out these rooms. Someone needs to call the health department!

In the room after pulling back the blanket there was long black hair and a stain on sheet. The other bed had short hair all over the sheet. Toilet had spots of urine on seat. Air conditioning did not seem to work, no mini refrigerator or microwave as stated in hotel write up. Pool had no water and entire pool area filled with what appeared to be old furniture. There were broken locks on exterior doors. We told clerk the room was not acceptably clean and not in condition of the hotel description. She said we had to contact Expedia and that she would confirm refund of our payment to Expedia. We did this. Expedia said they would have to contact hotel manager to get the refund. Hotel manager denied the refund saying the room was clean. I have pictures that prove otherwise. This hotel and their relationship with Expedia is a scam. Hotel is not at a basic clean level or functional. Expedia and Days Inn should be ashamed of their dilapidated, unclean hotel that in no way matches the listing. I also called the Worthington Chamber of Commerce to make them aware of this hotel situation.

The whole property was very run down and not well managed. The room was clean enough, aside from a moldy shower head, but the grounds were extremely disappointing. The advertised \"pool\" was actually a trash heap and storage space where the owners kept their garbage, junk, and greenhouse plants. There was no breakfast, even though I don't think we would have felt safe eating anything that came from this place after being there and the overall feel was very sketchy and unsafe. Would not recommend.

A pool and breakfast were advertised. When we showed up, the pool room was full of junk stacked half way to the ceiling and obviously hadn't been in use for quite some time. The lobby was locked at 6:30 am without breakfast ready. The outside door to the building was open and unlocked. Did not feel safe. We had booked two nights and took our loses by only staying one night and got a different hotel. What an absolute joke!

The room was in terrible shape. Tissue paper stuffed in the peep hole, duct taped door knob, scotch taped picture frames, stained comforter. There was a sign at check in stating you have 15 minutes to reject your room. Pool room was literally filled with junk, like a hoarder. Halls not vacuumed in quite a while. Pillows were comfortable though. Minimal effort could really help.

The staff wonderful and kind. I think the property is in the midst of a remodel, which would explain a lot. The bedding seemed clean and maintained. The bathroom and whirlpool tub did not look as great. There's no showerhead in the bathroom, just an open pipe. Things like the heat/ac keypad were covered in plastic, but it looked more like used plastic wrap than a protective cover. What appears to have been the pool is now a greenhouse with a mountain of garbage in the middle. I just needed a place to sleep overnight and was not expecting anything fancy at all, but i thought that Wyndham property would be better.

This property was not as advertised. There was no breakfast provided and that was one of the reasons that we booked there. The space was there for breakfast but nothing. and when they asked at the front, she was not the kindest to them. The sheets were dirty. They slept on top of the sheets and comforters because of this and fear of bedbugs. They parked the truck near the window out of fear of a break in.
I would not recommend this hotel. Frankly was surprised it had the Days Inn/Wyndham name attached to it. I have never had this happen with this chain before.

Reservation for 1 queen room, arrived and told only 2 bed room available BUT we could only use 1 bed or there would be an up-charge....guest parking had 2 vehicles in it. When verbalized concerns about hotel ammenities, was offered a refund, next unexpected move by manager was to cancel our reservation (after we had already che ked in) and tell us we have to leave the property. Booked thru Expedia who rightfully charged room to us but hotel also charged which was denied by management untill c/c pending billing was presented. NEVER THIS LOCATION AGAIN!! Still have a $1 charge to my c/c by this hotel that they claim they did not do. I have proof of this charge on my c/c card. Watching it closely...

As we drove up to the building, window AC units falling out of their windows, siding falling off building, pallets of old appliances next to front of office and in front of the separate building. We asked to see our room and he escorted us to that separate building, to view our room. The hall way had a negative odor, huge holes in the hallway carpet and to top it off, the room wasn’t clean, clutter everywhere and half painted walls. We refused to stay and left. This facility should not be included in the Expedia experience!

The property was was dirty. The room floor, old chair it had a smell of old,lamp are dirty . The pool omg was empt full with old furniture. I asked for clean towels never got. I went to check out and i was told just leave the key in the counter by an old man. My room was not even ready when check time was at 3 pm we arrived at 3:30pm and was not ready. Then the room they gave us didnt lock from outside only from inside. Then we had to wait again to change room.and in top of that they couldn't charge the card that was given by expedia. I had to spend time on the phone trying to fix the issue that wasn't my issue. We stay there because we had no other choice and it was late to find another hotel with a baby.

The door to the hotel didn't close or lock. There was one car in the parking lot and it appeared to be broken down. The pool was drained and there was a bunch of broken furniture surrounding it. There was a weird broken massage chair outside the front door. It was the most unsavory place I have ever had the displeasure of laying my eyes on.

Flea-Bag hotel! Absolutely deplorable – hotel room was filthy, starting with the front door- completely grimy, dirty, and chipped up. Walls inside of the hotel room were dirty and scuffed up, dead flies on the bed, front office was filled with massive clutter and debris – eating area did not look sanitary. The lobby and rooms reeked of a horrific smell. The pool was completely shut down and they had not informed guest that it was closed… Absolutely deplorable accommodations and should not even be on the Hotels.com website!

The cost was what made us choose this location. Apparently, we got what we paid for. The staff was not friendly, just shy of rude. Garbage and broken boxes and furniture linen the office/breakfast area, vending was broken, locks on exterior doors weren’t just out of order they were trashed/demolished. There was dried soda(?) down the front of the safe cabinet. The bed was clean and free from bed bugs, believe me, I checked multiple times but the sheets were stained and whoever made the bed did a haphazard job. We would have gone somewhere else but we got there late and just needed a shower and a place to sleep. Definitely wouldn’t eat in the office area based on cleanliness alone. Also, pool that was advertised was completely out of order and locked up tight. Looked like it was used as a storage unit.

This is not a hotel—it’s a complete dump! When we checked in, the trash cans were full of used soap, bottles, and other garbage. One trash can was even placed on the table, the other on the nightstand. The bed was wrinkled and clearly hadn’t been changed since the last guests. The microwave didn’t work, all the furniture was broken, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the hotel was built. When we complained about the cleanliness, the hotel claimed the room was clean. It’s really sad that the hotel’s standards of cleanliness are fit for animals, not people. Never stay in this dump!

We showed up dropped our bags off didn’t really get a good look of the room then left for a few hrs then came back turned the lights on we seen 5 to 10 bugs crawling over the ceiling and walls the walls had stains all over them every single sheet had stains they were covered in somebodies hair the walls had holes in them even the lamp shade had stains and it was just set on the light bulb it fell when I turned it on the chair looked like Edward scissor hands had its way with it food still left in the Microwave ticks or bed bugs bouncing around we asked for clean sheets the boss lady said no we asked for a refund she said no and ran into her back office and slammed her door

This hotel seems to be just letting itself be run into the ground. We originally booked our stay because of the pool and breakfast included. We arrived and pool area was full of junk. There was no breakfast. On top of that the door to the outside was obviously broken and the building not secured. The room was filthy, grime everywhere, no soap in the bathtub (they were empty leaving grime underneath). Stained bedding and sheets had cigarette holes. Do not stay here unless cost is an absolute factor for you.

The first room that was selected for me was still under construction with visible wiring switches and plugs hanging out of the walls visible surface dirt on floors and furniture Linen on bed not changed visible surface dirt on Facebook as well as bathroom the second room that I was assigned to had the same conditions only the bed appear to be made with appropriate pillows & the wiring was intact upon my check out I did bring this to the attention of the facility management and personnel I was told that they apologize and thought that the rooms were cleaned appropriately I suggested to them to physically inspect their rooms to ensure their guest is having a comfortable stay

I recently had a great experience at a Wyndham motel in Trinidad, CO so I thought I'd found an upgrade to where I often stay in Worhtington. I was mistaken. This motel is very run down. The furniture was torn and shabby, the TV didn't work (probably a remote battery), the toilet seat was broken, light fixtures didn't work, and the room wasn't clean. I prepaid so I was stuck. Never again!

there is nothing that I liked , It was dirty, the room was tiny, and the parking lot was full of wholes, and dirt over the broken pavement. the flashing was blowing on the roof and looked as if it was going to fly off at any time. there were umpty plastic planters outside our door that kept us up all night. The TV did not work and when I asked about it , the receptionist said her son will fix it when he gets home about 11:30 pm, really I want to be asleep by then,, This was not at all what the advertisement described, and they complained that I got it too cheap, as if I should be grateful. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Called to inform that flight had been delayed 2.5 hours, which meant that I would check in after 2200. Was told that the door would be locked. I explained that the room is reserved, and paid.

After much discussion, I was told that they lock the door at 2200, it is POLICY, and that I was to cancel the reservation. It is a hotel, why would they lock the doors??
So I had to try to find another hotel, I had my 83 YO, disabled mother. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!!!

Room didnt have towels. Didnt discover until when I finally got back to the motel after being out later. Had to get them in morning. Staff also didnt speak real clear english.

The grossest room I've ever seen!

The room was left literally freezing then finally after an hour of warming up i went to use the restroom and there was such old crusted urine all over the toilet seat. I went and told front desk they asked if they should go clean it for me and i was floored. They wouldn't refund me the money cause it was longer then 20 mins. However i didn't care i had to leave i felt so disgusted!

The place is completely run down. The rooms in the main building with the pool have mattresses and furniture stacked high in the windows, and the motel strip portion where we stayed looked like a nightmare. Three of the rooms had their doors ajar for the entirety of our stay, and it was snowing. The room next to ours has the window smashed out. It was clear in our room that the door lock slider had been completely ripped out at some point. There was a dirty towel on the back of our door. The toiletry bottles were clearly left by other guests as they were all different brands and none of them were shampoo. The bed frame was super loud and made sounds like banging sheet metal every time you moved an inch. This place is a nightmare. I didn’t complain to the front desk because there were signs saying we had to “complain in the first 15 minutes” or they wouldn’t do anything, and I am in town for a family funeral and didn’t have time to waste, I was already late for the wake. The photos of the rooms on the listing were not the same rooms at all, not in layout or anything. They were clearly taken from stock images online, or taken a decade ago before this place became a horror movie set.

No pool open, no coffee or breakfast offered. Hotels.com had to refund my money because the days inn system didn't accept the payment and I paid the hotels regular fee. This hotel needs to have a reviewing and not be part of hotels.com booking system. Worst I've ever stayed at .

The pool was non-functional and the breakfast was all but not existent. There was a waffle machine but the batter dispenser broken and there was cereal but no milk. No one was around during the breakfast hours to ask for items and the only other edible items were browning bananas and pre-packaged muffins.

We didn’t have any heat in our room….they had a small space heater plugged in….i didn’t feel that was safe to sleep on…..the faucet on the sink was broken so we didn’t have water to wash with.

When I walked the door behind the desk was open to the staff living quarters. The side walks were not safe because of the ice build up. there was no hot water for a shower. this was discovered in the morning when i went to take a shower. the light bulb was not working over the sink. Handicap bed was too tall for my wife to get into. Bathroom sink faucet handle no working correctly. The room was 40 degrees when got there, it took a couple of hour for it to get warm.

Our room was fine. There was a candle burning in the room when we got in. It smelled nice, but seemed strange. Went to breakfast about 7:30. It didn't seem like it was fully setup. Sign said not to take food to your room, but the tables were pushed up against the wall with the chairs in top. Also interesting sign when you check in

An OK place as a budget hotel.

This is a low budget hotel, and as such it was pretty good. The breakfast service was a little dubious, but carbohydrate rich.

My concern is that the inn keeper appeared to be burned out or worn out. I don't know if she is getting the help she needs, or maybe is just trying to squeeze the last nickel out of receipts. Anyway, it shows.

Room itself was good, beds were very comfortable. Property was a little shabby. Breakfast was included but poor.
Waffles and toast for hot choices. There was no butter or syrup for the waffles and no sign of staff to ask about that. Juice was Sunny D. Cereal and coffee was also offered. Breakfast was taken in the cramped check in area. There was seating and tables for 3 and at least 6 of us were having breakfast at the same time.

Don't stay here

The 1st thing that made me highly upset was the bathroom door didn't latch closed...
After walking around the room I had other people's hair on my socks...then I went to put food in the fridge...And there was BLACK MOLD!!!!
