The DUTCHESS suite was lovely! Spacious and comfortable. Beds were super comfortable with quality linens and pillows. Two bedroom plus an open up sofa!
Kitchen had a keurig style coffee maker, mugs, glasses plates, utensils. They also had an electric tea kettle.
Bottles of water and a few sodas were left for us in the mini fridge, and a few snacks as well.
My sister had an issue with heavily scented (febreeze) pillows in her room- but ours had a very neutral scent. Not sure why.
We did not take advantage of the breakfast offered, so cannot comment on that.

We found the rooms to be stiflingly hot for sleeping. We turned the thermostat way down, and all four of us found the level of heat intolerable- despite an open window in our rooms. Location was perfect- we walked to Wonderful French restaurant, Champetre during snowfall- which was cozy and atmospheric. A fun memorable evening.

Quoet amd comfortable room. Very clean, and staff were vety friendly. Breakfast was cold continental style. It included breakfast breads, fruit, and the fixings for a hard bolied egg, hummus and arugula sandwich. No hot food. Otherwise, it was a a good stay.

A charming inn with nice rooms upstairs and downstairs and a variety of cozy public rooms on the ground floor. Very nice, serve-yourself continental breakfast, although no hot food (at least not on our weekend). Well-located near the center of Pine Plains.

I wanted to find a nice bed-and-breakfast inn-type place to stay at during a brief trip to upstate New York (Dutchess County). The Inn at Pine Plains receives consistently excellent reviews on Expedia so I decided to follow those recommendations. The good reviews are accurate. Plus, there are at least two excellent world-class restaurants within walking distance.

A perfect quick getaway

We had a great birthday getaway at the inn. Our room was lovely, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean with a huge bathroom. The staff was friendly and the location was perfect. Dinner at Stissing House was excellent and we picked up some great books at A New Leaf, the wonderful used book shop down the road. Couldn't have been better!

What a perfect little B and B! We stayed in the the Tamarack room, which was equipped with a separate living room and kitchen area. There were a few complimentary snacks and beverages along with a Keurig. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Upon arrival I was warmly greeted by Patti. She gave me the 411 and showed me to my room. The room was super comfortable. I slept so well. I only stayed for the night and hope to return someday soon to enjoy some of the local happenings and to sleep like a baby again!

Our stay was wonderful! The room has a lovely sitting area and was perfect for relaxing after a busy day. We did travel to Rhinebeck for dinners, and the ride was beautiful in fall. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was light fare to get the day started. We booked our return trip for next October before we left this year. Cannot wait to return!

The property was very clean and attractive. Pet friendly and quite accommodating which was very nice. Dining room was fairly spacious with almost enough seating for our whole party. The breakfast was more than we expected and very good. The two employees were very friendly and attentive to our needs.
The only negative I encountered was the drain in our tub was stuck closed so the water wouldn’t drain therefore only one person got to shower. Luckily we were just heading home.
The rooms were very clean and the refrigerator was stocked with water and other drinks and there were snacks available…all complimentary.
On the whole, everything was wonderful!
I would definitely stay again if I were in the area and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The Inn at Pine Plains is stellar. The rooms are all exceptional in their decor as well as cleanliness. Patty greeted us very warmly and made us feel right at home. We usually stay in Rhinebeck, but we opted for something different and this was a wonderful surprise. The roads in were so charming to behold. I particularly enjoyed the deep soaker tub and comfortable bed. In the morning, the breakfast was more than adequate, with muffins, breads, fruit, granola, yogurt, eggs, tomatoes, cereals, etc. Patty was able to accommodate my gluten free request too! Overall, this inn is fantastic and merits a stay (or ten) if you are in the area. We will be back indeed!

There was an air freshener smell in the room. The toiletries were okay. The towels were mediocre and not sparking white. The manager arrived at 8:10 for the 8am breakfast. We were told there were fresh muffins and local bread. All of the pasties were shrink wrapped and the bread was bought off the shelf. There was the opportunity to make your own avocado toast with very hard boiled eggs, avocado hummus, arugula and overly ripe tomatoes. We paid $225 for the evening at it was worth about half that. We have spent at least 70 nights in hotels and bed and breakfasts this year and we can accurately assess a decent stay at a bed and breakfast. This left a bit to be desired.

My stay was amazing! I arrived after hours with the instructions as to how to unlock the lock box in my pocket.
All went smoothly and I found my room with no trouble....AND it had my name on the door just to be sure!
My room was cozy, the bathroom was set up with all that I would need, the snacks were free and I went to bed thinking I was in a very special place.
It continued the next day when I was leisurely able to grab my coffee and work in my room for a few hours.
The computer connection was excellent!

I met the owner in the morning. She was lovely. The food was all that I could ask for....mostly self serve witso many options it was hard to choose!

I shall be going back when I visit the area next year!
