The restaurant was closed. We were given a restaurant recommendation that in our taste was alright. It was extremely noisy. It was almost like we hear a door slamming shut every few minutes. By 9 am we hear the cleaning service cleaning the room above us. The gym was inadequate. I wanted to use the treadmill to get a little walk in but it was a cheap wobbly. No water was provided in the room. Coffee in the room was instant with powdered creamer. The floor was dirty I kept stepping on pieces of salt. The soap bar was mush after one use. We travel all over I think it was very over priced for what it was. We maybe be in the area for the next three years at least twice a month and I will not be staying again. On another note they provide cable not smart tv service luckily we watched the Olympics but at times it was fuzzy. The door only locked there was no latch above. Overall just not what I expected for the price ect.

The setting was beautiful in Lakeville, CT. The property was clean and very much updated and the staff was incredibly friendly. We attended a wedding and reception at the inn and it was beautiful. Highly recommend!

Expensive hotel, room was out of date, not enough outlets, no modern charger ports. There is really nothing at the hotel in terms of pool or anything, and the bar closed early. The only breakfast was a $6 egg sandwhich in a hamburg roll. In the morning the staff knocked and entered our room multiple times before 9AM while we were getting ready to leave. For the rates they charge the stay should leave me feeling much better about it, wouldnt stay again.

Arrived only to be told the room I reserved was not available. Staff worked to find a different room, which took some time—so was happy about that, but the room smelled like mold. It was clean and had towels but we immediately opened the deck door and turned the fan on high. Felt the nightly rate far exceeded the quality of the room.

The venue itself was gorgeous, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. My only gripe is that my reservation said main building, 2 queen beds. We ended up down the street in what was more of a motel, with one queen bed and a twin cot. It was only one night so we were fine, just slightly misleading for over $300.

Nice facility, needs some work on room maintenance

The stay was ok. Front desk was very professional at check-in. At check-out the desk attendant was very short and seemed rushed. The coffee maker in our room was broken and shooting hot water everywhere. The toilet broke in the middle of the night on our last night's stay.

Unfortunately a sewage pipe broke and the smell the first night was horrendous. I had to go to the desk to find out what was going on. It would have been nice if the front desk person told us what happened and made a suggestion to leave our balcony door open for air or something. It just would have made the situation a little more tolerable

This is an over priced low quality motel— if you are looking for a charming inn, spend your $300 elsewhere! Our queen bed room was very basic— no carpeting, cheap bedding, towels, and lighting. The bathroom mirror had peeling paint, grouting was in poor condition. plus a hole in floor under toilet, unclean shower. Deadbolt in door inoperable, window curtains cover AC vent causing them to compromise privacy. A maid walked in, without knocking, at 8 am, a repair man was tearing up parking lot outside our door by 8:30. Breakfast is not included for your $300!

I have stayed at the Interlaken quite a few times, and I have stayed in a few different buildings. Generally, I like stying here. However, this was the second time I stayed in the Woodside building. The room was fine. However, there is no way that I could find to turn off the exterior lighting both in front of and behind my room. It was basically mid-day light in my room all night long. I really wish there were either better/ more \"blackout\" window treatments or a way to turn the lights off. One front light seemed to be on a sensor, so it would turn off, but then it just would get tripped and turn on again.

Upon arrival I was told I was in the “Countryside” building. It’s an outdated, smelly old house nearby. There was NO maid service, NO breakfast, and I could hear every step, door close and toilet flush of others in nearby rooms. The A/C and small refrigerator were so noisy I had to unplug them to get any sleep. Bad experience all around.

Th location was great for my visit for graduation at Salisbury school, which is about 6 miles away. I really enjoyed everything - the rooms I was in was in one of the older buildings and was a bit dated, but they seem to be well maintained (had A/C which was great!) and were clean. I like having coffee and a light breakfast available. Met my needs and the grounds are lovely- nice pool, tennis courts.

Property definitely needs updating. A person I knew at my function said they had stayed there previously and the property was \"tired\", I'd say it was \"exhausted\". I stayed in the \"Sunnyside\" building and it seemed old, but in fact, it is. The lobby is like an old B and B. This is where they have coffee available self serv in the AM. Problem was that nobody replenished it all weekend and the wedding party that was there at the same time left a HUGE mess which also was never cleaned.
Bed in my room comfortable, but reception on TV in room was sporadic, no hangers in my closet either which was annoying.
I won't stay here again.

The room was clean, the bathroom small. No amenities like a refrigerator, no mirror to see how you look for head to toe, just vanity mirror. Ice Machine broken, lighting outdated (wall sconce with a CFL) only 1 bedside lamp.
Exterior stairs to climb to the unit and then a winding staircase to get to the room. The buildings on the property look worn and in need of maintenance.

April vacation trip

There was a charging station which was great. The floor in our room was often dirty (Woodside) b/c we brought in dirt from the parking lot. We enjoyed being able to bring our 3 dogs.
