We booked classic ocean view for our 7 nights stay with two queen size beds, the room was very spacious with all comforts and the usual hotel rooms amenities. Staff were wonderful and very attentive to all our needs. Breakfast has variety, fresh and plentiful food everyday. The air conditioner was perfectly cooled our room and on all the time as needed. I 💯 recommend Sea breeze beach house for your perfect holiday in Barbados and I will definitely stay again and again 😀

The resort location from airport was close and beautifully landscaped property on the beach. The beach was nice and enjoyed sun longers with covers. Staff was readily available to serve. Food options were limited and only able eat during specific hours which was disappointing. The hot tub was snaller than a bath tub, water was cold and did not have pressure massage working. Main reason for booking resort was for use of hot tub and spa which was unable to contact to schedule session. Room location was excellent due to amazing customer service provided by Kim and Xavier for booking awesome snorkeling excursion. There seems to be alot of guests there that believe they are entitled and seem to forget they are visiting a resort in the carribean. Several guests caused issues with other guests smoking on the beach or playing music from phone, therefore would not recommend for any one whom wants to partake in such activities.

I don't like to leave negative reviews for hotels. I feel like you can't please everyone all the time. However, I had to make an exception for this one.

We booked this trip to celebrate my husband's birthday. It started out great the property is located right on a beautiful beach. The hotel room \"appeared\" to be perfect.

First came the issue with our dinner reservations for my husband's birthday. The person that booked the dinner reservations made a mistake and didn't enter it into their system. Mistakes happen. No worries. When we showed up at the restaurant the two hostesses were so unprofessional about it. Basically, telling us that we had to find somewhere else to eat since we were not booked for that night. Thankfully, I had the list of restaurants on a piece of paper from the woman that originally booked us and retrieved it from my room which still did not rectify the situation immediately or give us an apology for the way they initially acted. Eventually we were seated but at that point we felt very unwelcomed.

In addition, 2 days in we noticed that my son had bites on him but not realizing what it was we brushed it off. By the end of our 5-day trip, my son had multiple bites all over his body. When we realized this was an issue we went to guest services in the lobby. There were 3 people that saw the bites and brushed us off. I took several pictures and consulted with our doctor today and he indeed confirmed that he was bitten by bed bugs.

The food was far better than I expected, for a resort, so good I would rate it a 5 stars - extremely flavorful, l felt as though I was eating a a great home-cooked meal at a relatives home. The property itself was well kept and very clean.

Probably the worst hotel I have stayed at in the Caribbean. Many of the staff are dour, ignore you until you actually ask for some service and then the service does not come with a smile.

The hotel is all inclusive. When we were shown to our 2 bedroom suite, the man who showed us the room explained what we had in the room, including snacks and a mini bar. He said it would all be replenished each day. We drank the bottle of Prosecco from our fridge and expected it to be replaced; we even confirmed with him that the Prosecco would be replaced. When it was not replaced my girlfriend called reception to ask for it to be replaced and was told “we’ll get back to you”… no-one ever got back to us. I went down to the bar to ask for a bottle and was told that the Prosecco was never replenished. The same went for the crisps etc, we could buy more from the gift shop. We were paying over £780 per night for all inclusive.

Late check out, sadly not possible but we understood. The departure luggage store is a cupboard that is stacked full of unused furniture, rolled up carpets and other cardboard boxes; it is neither locked nor guarded. It is about 10 metres from the public road. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world with somewhere secure to leave luggage. The receptionist offered that I could speak to the manager. I was told the manager would see me in 15 mins. After 30 minutes, no show. After an hour no show. Typical of the disdain this hotel has for their guests.

Maybe because it was all inclusive, the food service staff were not attentive. On our last nite, I called to the front desk TWICE to request some towels so that my wife & I could bathe and they never arrived so we had to improvise. The property was nicely maintained but I didn't remember seeing that our bldg DID NOT have an elevator & we were on the 3rd floor. This wasn't a big problem for us but for older and guests with challenges this would have been a major issue.

We had an amazing time at the resort.The resort was clean enough, well maintained; there was some construction noise, but nothing disruptive. There is no elevator, but each of the buildings are 3 or 4 storeyed so you don't really need one unless you need accommodations. There are few restaurants but not everything opens at all times so check the schedules. Amenities were good, only thing, bathroom lacked exhaust fans so we had to keep the windows slightly open for air circulation and humidity adjustment.We had an in room safe, mini bar(not pre stocked but that didn't matter since we could bring our drinks to room and stock it). We took the all inclusive and daved us trouble of walking around but if you like to explore places and try local, I'd suggest to go non inclusive. Breakfast and lunch were buffet with ample options, dinner is reservation only which you can make at any of the restaurants when you go for breakfast.Staff in general are nice and welcoming. There is pool, places to kayak and surf etc; other activities that require an instructor or special arrangements like snorkeling, scuba diving etc are not available at resort, however, available locally. Overall, we liked our stay and would recommend it.

The location of this resort is amazing, all along the beach. Our room was right next to the lap pool and beach, great location. Most of the staff were super friendly, cocktails great. Sun loungers are a-plenty and comfy cushions. Good value for the money. Only negative was the lap pool being used as a kids pool often, and the food about 6/10 (typical for all inclusive). I would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Seabreeze! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — they even surprised our family with a small celebration for our son’s early 1st birthday, which meant a lot to us. The kitchen and dining team, as well as the kids’ centre teachers, were always smiling, kind, and genuinely engaging.

The ocean was stunning with its clear blue/emerald water and soft white sand. Dining was first-class — we were especially impressed by the seafood night featuring all-you-can-eat boiled lobster! The Saturday night entertainment, particularly the fire show, was fantastic and kept even our young children captivated.

Overall, it’s a very cozy, family-friendly resort that we’d definitely recommend to anyone visiting Barbados.

The staff here were all so lovely and helpful! Service always delivered with a smile. Room was clean and housekeeping came every day without request.
Property wasn’t super noisy so you can relax And have good nights rest and even enjoy a nap. Staff remember you by name and are super accommodating. Erin at reception was super sweet! Dakari was very helpful and so was Timothy. Damian and Chrisohn were great vibes and make sure you’re having a great time! There was one other front desk girl who I really liked but unfortunately I forgot her name. Shannon was always singing and smiling. Marcia remembers your omelet order for breakfast! The beach was nice and the waves weren’t choppy I enjoyed a nice sailboat ride on the property. The pools aren’t so big but there are 3 pools to enjoy including the adults only pool, although kids were around but still was enjoyable. Dinner and breakfast were pretty good although the lunch options weren’t my favorite I did like the loaded fries and shrimp Cesar salad. The glass shower didn’t have a closing which kind of annoyed because the floor would get super wet but other than that the room was great. I would definitely come back to this resort and recommend. Solo travel and family friendly! You will have a great time!

Our stay at the Seabreeze Beach House in Barbados was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. On our very first day, there was no running water. To make matters worse, the rooms were dirty, roaches were present, and the food was terrible.

This resort is not safe—the showers are not slip-proof, and my young son slipped and fell due to the dangerously slick tiles. The staff and atmosphere made it clear that they cater primarily to European guests and show little regard for guests of color.

The service, cleanliness, and overall quality were unacceptable. This was by far the worst vacation experience we’ve ever had. Please save your time, money, and peace of mind—skip this resort and book elsewhere.

The Sea Breeze Beach Hotel was magnificent, I have stayed here before in 2011 with my family so to be back in 2025 the place is almost unrecognisable as they have done so much work on updating the hotel. I would give this hotel a five star and will definitely be back.

Only downside which has nothing to do with the hotel was the brown seaweed in the sea, which meant i couldn't go swimming

I never leave reviews but this was needed first you can’t use the beach it’s full of seaweed. You have to take a shuttle bus that the hotel provides to another beach. When you get to that beach they charge you for everything. Why must I go to another beach when my hotel has a beach? And I paid for all inclusive? The shuttle only runs on certain days, and they take you at 10 and you return at 2. So if you wanna go to the beach on a day that the hotel doesn’t provide a shuttle. Either pay for an expensive cab or no beach. The beach is 20 mins away.
The pools are very very small like backyard sized pools. Me and my wife thought it was funny the pictures online make the pool seem huge they are tiny. We didn’t use the pool our whole vacation.
The rooms need to be overhauled immediately they are outdated. No room service at all after 11.

On a good note the staff was very good though, and the food was very tasty as well. They don’t switch up the breakfast AT ALL same eggs and bacon for 5 days. And for lunch same 5 choices. Dinner menus switched nightly and again the food was good. Drinks was very good

I would not recommend this hotel. Find a hotel that has a usable beach and a decent pool. There is no bar in the pool and at times seemed that the hotel was short staffed. TWICE during our week stay they forgot to makeup our room.

Honestly, in my entire life, this is the worst hotel I have ever been to. Zero value for money and the WORST SERVICE on earth.

Every negative review on Trip Advisor is true, do not ignore it like me. The staff need intense training on hospitality.

Housekeeping is a joke. For a beach hotel, how do you not think to sweep? Guest services shouldn't you smile? Why is a room dirty at 4:00pm? The attitude and incompetence is shocking and they do NOT care, they really think they are doing you a favour. I leave today and I couldn't be happier. I am so exhausted to list everything. A room even got flooded and before my family got another room? Lord.

If you are reading this please take my advice and book another hotel please. You will regret staying and Sea Breeze Hotel. Inept.

Upon arrival room was not ready we waited until 4:30 pm for the room. When we asked if there was any upgrade on the room available since it was a VIP hotel they said all the rooms were full. Upon entering our room they placed us in a building with no elevator access and we were traveling with a 5 year old they placed us at the third floor. I asked if there was any possibility of a different room since I had a child and going three floors up and down was not convenient. They said they could give us a room with elevator access but we had to pay $200 extra the night. Meaning they did have rooms empty they just wanted us to pay for the ‘vip’ upgrade. They made
Dinner reservations without consulting us, not the restaurant nor the time. Food was mediocre and bad quality with only exception the cerulean restaurant their food was great. The drinks were good. With a few exceptions most of the staff was not attentive and seemed bothered by questions or having to explain the menu. I will not be back

We thoroughly enjoyed being at Sea Breeze. This hotel is very relaxing and enjoyed the privacy of having our own beach. The white sand is soft without any rocks as some beaches. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Loved having the ocean view from our room. I think all rooms there have ocean views. Can’t beat that !
The food was good and enjoyed the barbecue on the beach. Breakfast options were plentiful but hoped they would offer non pork products as well for those who do not eat pork. The pumpkin fritters were amazing and really loved their local cakes for breakfast. Thanks to the wonderful lady at the omelette station. Happy Belated birthday !!
Also enjoyed the cocktail hour and liked talking to Allison , Jared and the manager who tried their best to make us feel comfortable. Also thank you Joaquon for being tons of laughter to the cocktail hour. I definitely did enjoy those chicken wings Joaquon !!
Also thank you to David, Javon and other dinner staff for your service. Aquaterra could have some more food options.

The staff are excellent. Very friendly. The location and views are absolutely gorgeous, but I would rate the property as average. The property needs updating- infrastructure and interior. Guests need more access to food. Cutters were the only option outside of restaurant hours and when we went for them, none were available for us . No restaurants available from 10:30AM 12:30 PM, only cutters (pre-made sandwiches). Which were late and limited. After 9PM, there is no food service available. They say cutters are available, but there were no cutters available when we went for them. Alcohol is served until 1AM, but not food. I recommend Sea Breeze add a grill option for those that don't want whats on the dinner menu, or just need to eat later, especially if you are still drinking. There were no snack options and no room service. So if you didn’t eat at the restaurant during your reservation (or had early reservations like we did) afterwards you were limited to cutters, if they were available, and for us they were not. We had a great time in Barbados, but there were times we felt hungry during our stay, that was the frustrating part.

Stayed at the starfish , bathroom could use some upgrading. I saw a roach on the outside in the hallway. The room was decent. The view is immaculate , the staff is so nice and friendly i loved the staff . Love the overall concept of the hotel. It’s affordable and convenient. The property would benefit from
Minor upgrades and a golf cart. Other than that i wouldn’t mind staying here again.

The hotel was incredibly dirty everywhere—the rooms, common areas, and restaurants were full of cockroaches, and even a rat jumped from the garden into the lobby. The hotel staff was extremely disrespectful, treating us terribly, with everyone showing a bad attitude. We’ve never been treated so poorly at a hotel.

On top of that, the price is way too high for what the hotel offers. The infrastructure is horrible, with no maintenance; everything is outdated and neglected. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, the power went out several times, and the food—oh, the food—was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had, from breakfast to dinner.

Honestly, this is the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Don’t waste your money going there—you’ll leave feeling incredibly disappointed. We couldn’t even bear to stay another day and had to move to a different hotel. I truly hope they improve someday, but it’s unbelievable how bad everything was. All the taxis was super rude too , everything was awfull.

Resort Review: Sea Breeze Beach House, Barbados

I’m sharing our experience to help others make an informed decision. My spouse and I vacation a couple of times a year, and despite many trips, this is the first time we’ve felt compelled to write a review.

Our stay had several issues. The AC unit made a loud, persistent noise, and the toilet broke early on, remaining unrepaired despite multiple calls to maintenance. Shower pressure was low for four days, and we had no hot water for three. Housekeeping was inconsistent, often re-hanging our used towels rather than replacing them.

Dining was the biggest disappointment. Most meals were buffet-style, with flies swarming the food, which made dining unenjoyable and unsanitary. Aqua Terra’s menu was supposed to be available elsewhere but never was, and Cerulean’s menu was limited.

When we asked to transfer to their sister resort, we were told we’d face a $1,900 penalty, and management was dismissive, saying, “You had a choice, and you chose Sea Breeze.”

The ocean views were beautiful, and the staff was kind, but the lack of management response and food hygiene left us feeling disappointed.

This resort is lovely, could do with a few tweaks but we would return. We were here for a family wedding with little notice and only for 3 nights (a long way for a short time from the UK). A very casual, Caribbean Island time feel, on the beach with the most beautiful backdrop ever.
We had a Poolside room which was nice, 2 Queens and a patio area. Caribbean furnishings, bright and fresh. Daily housekeeping but they run really late, sometimes still there at 5pm when you might want to be back in the room freshening up for Champagne Hour. Kettle with coffee sachets provided and CoffeeMate in the fridge. Water bottles replenished or you could get from reception, from the self-service fridge which also had sandwiches.
Typical of many resorts, dining areas are on rotation so with only 3 nights we did not manage to catch all.
First night we ate at Mahogany which confuses me; they seem to have a buffet evening most nights but it is not extensive, but apparently fine dining on some nights. Nice coral decor, but very much a basic restaurant that lacks some atmosphere. The food was good, but I love a selection of different salads in small bowls or light offerings and these do not exist here. However, everything we tried from the dinner buffet was great and I like to try the local cuisine. Lobster tails one night were pretty good, possibly a tiny dry but it is a buffet with a station not a 5* restaurant. The curried fish and Bajan specialities have all been delicious.

I booked this spot because of the high reviews and I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a nice stay for her birthday. Let me say, I was not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Big up to Michael or Hotel Ambassador and Concierge(ask for him!), who made sure our stay was comfortable and ensured the surprise I had planned for my girlfriend was handled with care. In fact, all the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable even after our check out! The room we stayed in was a few seconds away from the on-site beach and the rum punch was the tastiest thing I’ve had in ages but maybe it’s not for everyone. Food was great but obviously not the best representation of true Baja cuisine. 10/10 stay, I will definitely be back here for my next visit to Barbados.
