I was told I could get a late checkout from 11 to 2. The day manager gave 1 hour. I even offered to pay for the extra hours I was still told no. Thanks to his wonderful service I was stuck in an airport for 6 hours because my flight was switched. I even explained all of this and was still told no.

Beautiful location. Our stay was in early Nov. Because the property is not fully winterized, our bathroom was quite cold with outside air seeping in. And we strongly disagreed with the “resort fee” which would have included the pool and outdoor grounds, but in our case, included (we were told) the parking spot (in a nearly empty lot) and breakfast that was a standard highway hotel breakfast, nothing special. With a little effort, this could have been a five. It’s a stretch to give it a four.

The bathroom was not clean. The shower head had mold/mildew on it and the pain was chipping in the tub. We had flies in our room and received a text 2 hours after check in saying “sorry to see you go” as if we were already gone and then reminded us that checkout was at 11am. It wasn’t very welcoming. I feel that $500 for 1 night here was not worth it.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was just one night, but the rooms have an outdoor area overlooking the ocean. It's beautiful. Nice continental breakfast that overlooks the ocean as well. The pool looked nice, but we were unable to use while we were there because of the weather.

Everything about the Ocean house is fantastic! Right on the ocean! Warm large pool to swim in, golf course right behind the hotel, looks challenging. Fire pit! Really good Continental breakfast. Free cookies every day at 4pm! Comfy beds and generous room size. Highly recommend!

I came for a weekend alone to be away from everything and it was absolutely wonderful. Clean room, beautiful pool and you can’t say enough about the views and sounds of waves crashing on the rocks. It was exactly what I needed. They have a lovely continental breakfast with great options like warm, flaky ham and Swiss croissants and fresh fruit. I do wish there was a bit more privacy between the balconies. I could hear my neighbors arguing through the walls but they stopped and I got a wonderful nights sleep. Loved waking up to the sunrise outside my window. Can’t wait to go back!

This was so perfect for a quick girls overnight with myself and my two tween daughters. We don’t live far from here and just wanted to take a quick getaway. The pool was perfect and the hot tub was great! Can’t beat the ocean view. The hammock, fire pit, chess, and cornhole were very appreciated my by girls and I enjoyed being able to read on the outdoor patio area. We are definitely making this a yearly (or more) thing. Hotel staff was very sweet.

It's a great place. While not perfect, due to age, it is clean and comfortable. On top of everything, you can't beat the view from the patio. The hotel is facing Est, just arround 30 feet (10 -15 meters) to the ocean. At night, with the wave sound I got the best sleep ever. And then I sit on the patio, sipping my coffee and watching a spectacular sunrise. Recommended.
Staff was helpful and kind.

One note, Continental breakfast is just that. Nothing to write home about. Filled croissants seemed OK but with my diet i can't have them. The only thing I could eat there was boiled eggs, water and coffee.

I wish I could write a more positive review, but overall our stay was disappointing. The hotel was in a great location (although there are no restaurants in walking distance) and the view was lovely, but unfortunately that is the best thing I have to say. For well over $400 per night, I was expecting more. The room was well decorated, but it didn't feel that clean. There was visible dust in the bathroom. There were spiders in the shower. The bathroom is TINY. There was barely room to turn around, much less have any space to set your toiletries down or change clothing (if you are traveling with a family and can't change in the main area).

I did like the fact there was a pull out sofa bed in the room, and the continental breakfast in the morning. It was a lovely view from the eating area, but it felt like the whole room was tilted!

From our room, the noise from the pool was quite loud even though we weren't directly overlooking it. And I should have noticed this in photos, but there is no privacy on the balconies from your neighbors. You can look from left to right and see everyone.

Like I said, I really wanted to like this property but I just cannot recommend it to others.

I was excited to stay here but there were a few interruptions. First, the lobby bathroom was not maintained well. There was feces of the wall and toilet. We could not use it. No one was able to clean it for us even after asking. Second, we were told that check in was at 4pm. We arrived at 6pm and our room was not ready until 8:30pm. That is 4 1/2 hours after check in! Third, once our room was ready, we noticed at least 10 flying insects including mosquitoes and flies. Very disappointing and I was not able to receive a good night sleep because of that. While we tried to enjoy our night on the patio balcony, it was bombarded with a mosquito nest on the wall right outside the room. Thousands of them taking over the wall. It was not pleasant. We asked to move to a different room, but there weren’t any available/prepared. Lastly, my child wanted to take a shower, and the tub was in terrible condition. Draining issues, water would not drain, and peeling coming off the tub. Very outdated and not appropriate bathing conditions. It was not clean looking and I chose not to shower, even after a long day at the beach.

The property advertises their room rates in a deceptive way. WHat you see is not what you've booked. Once you book you get a resort fee added on, $30. This place is not a resort in any way. They have a great location if you want to see water but they have no resort amenities like a restaurant or bar. The rest of the hotel is no better than a Holiday Inn. Their offered breakfast is absolutely horrible. There was not enough food available for even a mouse to stay alive. They had a bowl of boiled eggs and one half eaten community blueberry coffee cake on a cake dish. That's not the end. Also when you arrive they charge you an amenities fee of nearly another $30. What the heck is that for? Show me the amenities please... This place is a joke!

Unfortunately, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. The room was not clean and smelled strongly of mildew (wine cork and other items on the floor from previous guests, rips in the screen which was a problem since we needed to keep it open for fresh air). They had one other available room that smelled just as bad and looked even more run down. When we asked at 5pm to speak with a manager, we were told she left already and we could follow up the next day (but there was nothing they could or would do). This was a motel at best, and is clearly not being taken care of appropriately.

The location is the only benefit, but there are other options in the area.

This property is great mostly because of the view you get from your room. The location is great and close to Good Harbor Beach. The hotel offers a nice breakfast in the morning as well. The only thing was our screen in our room (216) had a tear in it and needed to be replaced. Also our refrigerator did not work the first night. However, I did tell them and it was fixed the following day.
