The Hotel Sanje Ob Soči is situated in the quaint village of Mala Vas, in the vicinity of the town of Bovec in the Slovenian Alps. With great facilities, it is the ideal place for a family holiday, as well as a perfect place for a romantic getaway for couples, fun filled for groups of friends and welcoming for individuals.
The Kanin Sella Nevea ski area is located approximately one and a half kilometres from the hotel. The hotel consists of nine luxuriously furnished single or double rooms and nine suites, each with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
Rooms and suites are comfortably furnished and include a private bathroom, television, mini-bar, telephone and safe. They are comfortable and stylish for a brilliant stay.

Staff were extremely friendly, they upgraded us to a nicer room, helped us out with renting bikes. Hotel room was lovely with some interesting DIY, but very clean and suitable for anyone. The area is amazing, with most basic amenities available within walking distance.

This was great to have an apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Laundry done and folded for 20 Euros and right next to the rafting rental place. Beautiful nature surrounding with short drive to all the sites. Walkable into town for bars and restaurants. Breakfast was worth it too lots of local delicacies.

Excellent hotel, welcomed with a very friendly face and homemade liquor to toast to the holiday. We were given a full induction to Bovec with a map upon arrival and given plenty of recommendations on how to get the most out of our time. Free parking outside and a great environment surrounding the hotel.

It was a nice hotel. We were a little upset about the marketing of it on Expedia, we were expecting access to a sauna and hot tub as marketed, when we got there we learned that you have to pay for both of those services and schedule in for the sauna. (They want 80 Euros for a hot tub session....)

It feels more like a hostel than a hotel
The property is run down and appointed not to the level one would expect of a 3-star hotel or a 120 Eur-per-night without breakfast. The ground floor rooms are particularly depressing with a view on the parking lot, dirty walls, very cheap furniture and persistent sewage smell in the bathroom. The only positives are the TV with many internatiinal channels and the quiet position. Overall disappointing and not recommended

Bovec is expensive for what you get but I definitely don’t think this hotel is worth the extra charge. For $100, plus another 12€ for breakfast + 6€ for taxes, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The room j stayed in was TINY, definitely only suitable for a solo traveler, and it had an odd setup with the sink in the main area. Not sure this works for anyone that’s a couple. Beds were okay, no extra bedding despite it being cold. There was this strange tree in the room. View of the parking lot. I walked around the entire property and not exactly sure where this view is pictured on the app. I stayed in a very large apartment the next night a block away for 20€ less and it slept four people and had Mountain View’s, a kitchen, and a proper bathroom.

Hotel was in a good location and very smart. Breakfast was excellent- well worth paying extra for. Rooms were accessed from the outside - facilities were good but we would have liked a plug for the sink!

The rooms are more like minimalist style but the people working there are very friendly and efficient. Wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed their sauna (8euro/person)! The only thing is they did not make our room at all on the first night. As we did not need to change towels or anything (we stayed two nights), it was fine, but just odd. Over all very nice stay and great view around the hotel!

Room smelt of drains. We’re not really complainers so we just put up with it and kept the windows / door open. But on check out when I mentioned it, the receptionist said it was a known problem and it couldn’t be fixed. Surely this can be fixed! We stayed in six different accommodations for our holiday to Slovenia and this accommodation was our least favourite and we would not return, purely because the room smelt like rotten eggs! Just some advice... it needs sorting if you want to keep your customers! On the plus side, lovely breakfast!

It may not be luxury accommodation but it is such a great place to stay. Not many hotels in the Bovec area but there is no need, the service received was great by Bostian and his wife, they run the hotel themselves which shows by the level of service they give. The place is designed beautifully with inspiration from the Bovec area. Breakfast is recommended - at 12 euros - but it is delicious and the the hosts will cater certain requests.

Okay hotel but the rooms are tiny. We had one with an extra \"kitchen\" with a small sink and fridge which was good. But, all in all, it was rather too cramped for my liking.

The hotel is in a good location for visiting the soca valley. Accommodation is clean and modern but basic - nowhere to hang towels, design means that water spills out of bathroom into room when showering etc. Breakfast was incredible - lots of delicious local produce. Staff are friendly and helpful

Hotel lost reservation
Unfortunately, the hotel had overlooked our booking made months earlier. We arrived to be told \"We have no record of your booking\" and \"We are closed.\" However, the receptionist did find our reservation in the computer, but it had been overlooked. They made us a reservation at a nearby hotel, but we were quite dissatisfied with the situation and left the area immediately the next day rather than stay for the three nights we had booked for the the hotel. It may have been pleasant under normal circumstances. We'll never know.

Great honeymoon location
Had a great active honeymoon stay at this hotel - the setting is beautiful with an idyllic mountain view. There are plenty of outdoor activities to do in Bovec, such as rafting, kayaking, zip lining, but I suggest renting a car when visiting as public transport is very limited - as we found out the hard way!

Only stayed one night so probably had the most simple room on the ground floor. It was very plain ( as expected from a modern hotel) but with the most comfortable bed ever. Breakfast was also very good. Only problem was that there was no sign from the road but we guessed where it was! The owner and his wife were charming and provided excellent info on where to eat and then booking our choice.

Am Rand von Bovec, aber das kleine Zentrum ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr schönes, neueres Appartement. Äusserst netter Empfang. Beim Frühstück gibt es erfreulicherweise sehr viele regionale Produkte.
Die Dusche ist einer der wenigen Minuspunkte, keine Abtrennung in Form von Vorhang oder so.

Sehr gute Lage und unkompliziert. Erster Eindruck wirkt sehr modern und stylisch. Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss mit Terrasse direkt vorm Parkplatz, daher recht dunkel da man Jalousien eher zulässt. Einrichtung sieht funktional aus aber für mich persönlich sehr negativ die Schiebe-Glastüren für die Dusche/ Toilette, beides nebeneinander. Finde ich furchtbar wenn sowas sehr offen liegt, da alles hellhörig ist. Waschbecken ist außerhalb direkt im Zimmer. Keine Steckdose neben dem Waschbecken/ Schreibtisch. Föhnen vorm Spiegel Fehlanzeige.
Mitarbeiterin war sehr freundlich und gibt gute Empfehlungen.
Nochmal würde ich es wegen der Badsituation nicht buchen.
