Exceptional service.

The hospitality at Hotel Mangart was absolutely phenomenal. The hostesses went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. One hostess accommodated my diet when the dinner menu when I was unable to eat what was being served. Another hostess, Ana S. was exceptional from the beginning of my stay to the end. When I lost my sunglasses in town, she went out of her way to give me a pair of her own which she no longer used. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Certainly better options

Uninterested, inattentive staff. Upon checkout, the front desk clerk was more interested in sitting outside, sipping coffee. Room literally had one- ONE- electrical outlet. AC is present, but very weak. Our \"mountain view\" was blocked by a tree on the ground floor. Parking is free and easy. There are certainly better options in Bovec.

Stunning hotel and we would recommend

The mountain views from the hotel are amazing - the photos don't do it justice. Our room was much bigger than expected with plenty of quality freebies (including moisturiser which is always a bonus for us females). Melita on reception was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed seeing her smiling face every time we returned from a trip out. Breakfast was plentiful and the meals in the restaurant had variety and were well priced. Plenty of room for parking and lots of outdoor seating. Can thorough recommend the hotel and we think from looking at other similar hotels in Bovec that this must surely be the best.

Easy quick check in . Fantastic view off of our deck at the back of the hotel Friendly staff The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable They gave us great advice on activities and hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again

The property was in a great location for spending a couple of days exploring the area and taking part in white water rafting. It was a comfortable hotel, quiet and the breakfast was great. A little more information about the local Bovec Day celebrations would have been helpful from the receptionist at check in. We had to do our own research to decipher what the colourful leaflet in Slovenian meant when the receptionist didn’t elaborate for us.

Staff were very helpful and good service in the restaurant. We found the mattress was not that comfortable as it was saggy more like a camp bed and needed replacing.The wall mounted toilet creaks (we are average weight people ).
This was room 331 so hopefully other rooms do not have these problems.
Apart from those two issues,the room was clean with lovely views of the mountains. Breakfast was fine and so was the meal we had in the restaurant. Very good location in the Soça valley. Bovec itself was a very relaxing small town.

We had a very weird experience with the receptionist when checking in. She kept giving us and her coworkers the weirdest looks that made us feel really uncomfortable. The room was fine though and the location was close to the center. The breakfast definitely left a lot to be desired

View is amazing from rooms, didn't like the breakfast as it was cold and didn't have much variety but rooms were really good, there are no kettles in room for tea or coffee,you have to pay extra for it . Which was very disappointing .

No dinner for late check in

We arrived at 7 pm and the hotel could not provide dinner and asked us to walk to town. We checked the first one and they did not serve customers without reservation. We kept walking in the dark and spent more than 2 hours for dinner with very slow service from the third one. Bring your dinner if you have late arrival.

Peaceful location yet close to all the action!

I liked the fact that is in peaceful surroundings with views of the mountains. The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms, good healthy buffet breakfast. The hotel has its own restaurant which serves good food. It situated a few metres from Bovec centre a kilometers from Soca Valley. The hotel is a good starting base to visit nearby attractions. Staff was always friendly, courteous and helpful. I certainly recommend this hotel.

Close to tram for connected ski areas: Bovec-Kanin, Slovenia & Sella Neva, Italy. Good skiing but would have been better with more snow. Areas are 2-3 meters below their snow levels.

Nice view, good breakfast, friendly staff.
Extended parking lot isn't next to the hotel but has its dedicated drive way from hotel. Not as convenient if raining and all the parking spot closest to the hotel building are taken.

Very annoying wifi config, constantly disconnecting users. This is the reason I wouldn't recommend the hotel to my friends who are all tech-savvy.

Great hotel in Bovec

Had a really nice stay here. Room was spacious and clean and the hotel is located close to the town centre. Breakfast was limited in choice but tasty. A/C wasn't turned on in the hotel even though temp outside was 32 so it was slightly uncomfortable at times.

We were advised not to travel to Bovec at the last minute because of the Paris incident. I spoke to hotels.com about our non-refundable booking, hoping the hotel would be understanding, under the circumstances. but they refused to cancel, clearly they needed the money more than the reputation. I cannot comment on their rooms or location, but I'd never go back there after that attitude

Hotel was very accommodating - they gave us late check out and when we returned a bit later than we thought, they were gracious and did not charge us! Breakfast was decent, wifi and parking included in the price. Reception was warm.

First visit to celebrate our 25th anniversary

We had a pleasant stay. A quiet area but managed to find a good restaurant in town for dinner. Suggested that we did not use the lift in the middle of the night as there would be no one around should it break down. Found that a little disconcerting but grateful to be told. However we did visit out of season - staff wise.

Well Finished Room

Positives: Well finished and immaculate room, air conditioning, nice breakfast, nice bar and restaurant, a small swimming pond (good in the summer months), excellent access by road and plenty of parking next to the hotel. Negatives: Service in outside restaurant was slow and an order was mixed up, probably because the staff had to travel great distances to the kitchen each time. I am sure this was an exception rather than the rule. I strongly recommend staying.

ENJOY YOUR TERRACE

All you could ask for in a hotel. Large bright rooms, enormous terraces, fine breakfasts, perfect location just outside the Bovec center, a very helpful staff.

There is ONE curious glitch however. The guest parking is a city-block away from the hotel. The staff parking is adjacent to the hotel. Yes. The reverse of the way things ought to be. I don't want to make too much of this, however. It's just ... 'curious'.

New modern hotel, slightly out of center of town

New hotel,very comfortable-highly recommended. It is more expensive and out of the center of town, which was disappointing. But the town is so small, we were only 2 minutes away by car. The town of Bovec is very attractive, with mountains all around.

Die Lage ist gut – an der Hauptstraße etwas außerhalb, aber der Ortskern ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze sowie einen separaten Bereich für Biker.
Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Personal insgesamt zuvorkommend. Das Hotel selbst ist allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer war sauber, aber nicht mehr zeitgemäß ausgestattet: keine Steckdosen am Bett, generell wenige im Raum, grelles Licht ohne angenehme Zusatzbeleuchtung, eine störende Lampe direkt über dem Kopfteil, defekte Lüftung im Bad und durchgelegene Betten. Auch kleinere Mängel wie eine lose Halterung im Bad fielen auf.
Positiv war der Balkon zur Rückseite – schön ruhig trotz der Nähe zur Hauptstraße.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war klein, aber gut zusammengestellt. Alles Wichtige war vorhanden, das Servicepersonal war sehr nett. Eine bessere Beschilderung der Speisen wäre hilfreich gewesen. Der Käse hat uns persönlich nicht überzeugt, aber das ist Geschmackssache.
