Kind people with great location right on the port. Good restaurant, too.
Not a sea-side resorty type of place but ideal for 2 or 3 nights en route to the Aegean.
The sea-view rooms are gorgeous, with the Dardanelles right outside.
Bathrooms, electrics etc are not luxurious, but for 2 stars Limani Hotel is perfect.

A room with a view (of the harbor)

After a long bus ride in the rain and a transfer into a van at the main terminal, the driver dropped us off steps from our hotel. A beautiful and well-run place with a beautiful view of the harbor - especially at night and early in the morning, watching the boats sailing in and out. This hotel is steps away from the center of town and lots of restaurants and shops. The night desk clerk is also the morning taxi driver who took us to the airport.

Great location to ferry service and lovely view

We stayed one night before catching ferry to Eceabat to spend day at Gallipoli Peninsular. Very close to ferry terminal and we also had a lovely view looking at the Dardanelles. Was great watching the boating activity on this very busy stretch of water. Restaurant downstairs was very nice also.

Hotel has an excellent location with great view

Our room was clean with a fantastic view of the water and ferry dock. Within easy walking distance of ferry dock and bus stations. Front desk staff was not helpful in explaining local transportation options and sightseeing. Book tours directly (not through front desk unless you want to pay a premium) and local shuttle bus service is available for sightseeing such as Troy and to Otogar (servis available) but had to figured this out by making our own inquiries and contrary to what we were told by front desk staff (promoting tours).

Nice Hotel with Stunning Seaviews

We booked two rooms for a family of four. It was worth it to get the extra space. The breakfast was nice. If you can, request room 502. It has a small balcony, so you can open the doors and take in the pleasant seabreeze. It that one is not available, any seaview room, I believe, has windows you can open up to just lay on the bed and mindlessly stare at the water.

The location of the hotel near to the ferry terminal is very good. I would recommend the hotel to anyone but be warned that the air conditioning needs to be improved for the very hot days that I was there. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

This is a wonderful, small hotel right in the downtown area. The room was super clean and decorated tastefully. The breakfast served was excellent. The restaurant of the hotel serves great dishes around the globe. Would definitely recoend this place.

Very good spot to set up in , a fantastic array of restaurants at your doorstep plus the hub of the city is right there .
Rooms are adequate in size and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

Hotel Limani are to be commended for the product they have produced. The hotel is in a central position to the ferry service and overlooks the dardenales. The rooms are a very good size and very clean, with the staff providing a professional and courteous service. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller or local.

Great position and outlook but that comes with lots of noise, until 4.00 in the morning! The reception staff were very pleasant. The shower needed cleaning.

Great staff but beside a night club

The hotel itself is great and in a great location right by the waterfront. The restaurant is great too and the staff are friendly. Wifi is good and they have free valet parking overnight. However, despite being on the 4th floor and two rooms away from the night club next door, we didn't get any sleep until 4am due to the thumping coming from the building next door. There seems to be a night club or disco on the 3rd or 4th floor of the next building which was a complete night mare.

Pleasantly surprised

The room was small but bright and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. This is right on the water, in the middle of the bustle, but not too loud to sleep and it was lovely to look out on the water. Nice complimentary buffet breakfast in the morning.

Lovely hotel, impeccable service, great location.
Glass of wine on arrival was delightful. Our room had a great view overlooking the harbour. Dinner was good.
Canakkale is the place to stay for a Gallipoli visit, bustling, interesting sea side town with numerous restaurants, bars & shops.

Great location for view and connections

Great little hotel. We stayed on the ocean side and would reccomend that you do the same. That was so special. The bed may have been the best of all of the places we have stayed in a Turkey and the pillows were very nice. Bathroom was clean bright and a good size. The hotel restaurant food was nice but its view across the boardwalk to the ocean was very special. Great value for the price. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Two stars? More like four stars

I don't understand why the Turkey tourism agency rates this hotel two stars. It is a lot better than this, with beautiful, well equipped, clean and comfortable rooms, prime location (facing the ocean), helpful staff who speak good English, free parking, phenomenal free breakfast, and a truly excellent restaurant (stick with the Turkish dishes, though; don't try the Italian items). The hotel was close to perfect and a fabulous value.

Right on waterfront but my fifth floor (top) room at the back facing away from sea over houses & shops. Room had no facilities for drink making. No cutlery even for peeling a peach. But staff super friendly and helpful and if you dont have to spend much time in your room it's probably ideal. Hotel restaurant on ground floor right on seafront walkway...much better than other hotels on streets back.

Great location and service in Channakale

Great location in Channakale near lots of restaurants and the marina. Staff was crazy helpful and welcoming. The moment we arrived they offered us tea and lemonade and chatted with us a bit. Rooms were large, very clean and comfy. Staff was very helpful and their breakfast buffet was very nice. They also had a parrot named Porto in the lobby that was very sweet. He likes to have his neck rubbed :)

Very good Hotel, staff and location

We could see the hotel as the ferry pulled up, making the job of finding it very easy. We had a problem with our rental car, but the hotel sorted everything out, including all the paper work. The location is very central, with a very good restaurant and the staff are very accommodating.

I'd highly recommend it.

Best hotel in Turkey

This hotel has it all, great service, great location, comfortable rooms at a great rate, beautiful view of Galipoli peninsula, and the restaurant/bar has great food and the best drinks I had in Turkey. Out of the 15 hotels/hostels I stayed in Turkey, this one was by far my favorite.

The welcome in the hotel was great, we were helped with everything, all questions were answered, about the hotel, the village, places to go etc.
The crisp style and the cleanliness of the hotel was very good and comforting. Definately a good choice in Assos.

Best downtown hotel

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, with excellent location in downtown right in front of the pier, next to the city castle and other city attractions. You can board a ferry with practically a few ssteps.The hotel has a very nice restaurant/bar as well. This recently renovated hotel is great for those visiting Canakkale and the Gallipoli peninsula. I would definately stay at the Hotel Limani on my next visit.

Perfect for a couple of nights.

Hotel Limani is perfect location in Cannakale. We stayed there for one night so we could go and visit Gallipoli the following day. The hotel is right in the centre of town, with a great bar/restaurant area downstairs facing straight out to the harbour.

The staff were friendly, breakfast was really nice and the room was basic but comfortable.

Nice hotel, very convenient location

The hotel and rooms were in good condition but the stand-out factors were the staff, who were very friendly and helpful, and the location, which is a stone's throw away from the ferry port - it took about two minutes to walk once we got off the boat. The rooms are not five star, but they're decent, clean and fairly modern. The hotel restaurant was also very nice and was full up with locals in the evening. For the price this was a great hotel.

Oda soğuktu klima çalışmıyordu tv bozuktu ilgilenmediler bile arayıp söylediğimizde tv ye sadece gelip bakmakla yetindiler odanın ısıtmasının yeterli geleceğini söylediler ama soğuktu sabah kahvaltı saati çokta geçmemesine rağmen 10:30 du vermek istemediler saat geçti deyip sonra biz hotel müşterisi olduğumuzu söylediğimizde vermek zorunda kaldılar kahvaltıda soğuk ve vasattı pek memnun kalmadık limani otelden

Eğlence merkezlerinin ortasında olduğu için hafta sonu geç saatlere kadar müzik sesi var. Eğlence ve geç uyumayı sevenler için mükemmel konumda. Lokantasının konsepti ve ortamı çok güzeldi. Kahvaltısı lüks otel kalitesinde.fakat duşakabinler çok küçük.odalarda balkon olmadığı için sigara kokusu odaya sinmiş. Sigara içilen odalarda kaldık hep ama koku gerçekten çok ağırdı.bunun dışında sigara içilmeyen odalar eminim daha güzeldir. Biz konaklamadan memnun kaldık
