We loved our stay in Santorini. Before we even arrived Kiki was so helpful. She was very responsive to all of my emails. She arranged transportation for us from the airport and when we arrived to the hotel our room was ready. She was incredibly helpful when we missed our tour and made arrangements for us to meet up with them. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast. Our room had a lovely view and nice patio to sit out on. The hotel is in a wonderful location, walkable to Peripissa beach, shops and restaurants. Kiki is incredibly accommodating and kind and we had a wonderful first time experience in Santorini.

A fantastic place to enjoy the town

It was an amazing place. It was a 5 min walk to the black sand beach and just as close to some stellar restaurants. The family running the place was super helpful and friendly. They help get us checked in and out with no problems. The room was the perfect size for two people and very comfy. We would totally stay again!

Irigeneia hotel was perfect for my stay in Santorini. I stayed for a week and loved it. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of and having a good time. They make you a fantastic breakfast every morning of which you choose your selection on the first day to have for the rest of your stay. It’s absolutely delicious.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and all the shops/restaurants. It’s about a 3 minute walk to the bus stop which is easy to use to get around Santorini.
I emailed the owners before arriving to Santorini because I didn’t know the best way to get from the airport to the hotel, they scheduled me a transfer bus.
I read a lot of reviews on places to stay before I came because as a solo female traveler, I want to make sure I’m in a safe location and I felt absolutely fine my entire stay. I saw Michael everyday around the hotel and he would always ask me how I was doing and if I was having a good time.
You really can’t go wrong staying here! I love it! Thank you to Kiki and Michael for showing such great hospitality and allowing me to stay! (:

Irigeneia Hotel was an absolute delight to stay at

My baggage did not arrive to Santorini and Kiki was extremely accommodating. She brought me slippers, a toothbrush, toothpaste and vanity set. I only stayed for 3 nights and on the third night the airport called the hotel to let me know my bag had arrived and would be dropped off by 11pm. The reception typically closes at 10pm but Kiki was kind enough to stay open until my bag arrived. WHEN I return, I will most definitely be staying at Irigeneia Hotel again :)

The property was very nice and clean. Kiki and all the staff are very friendly.

I had a triple room, which was spacious with a large bathroom. The hotel is not hard to find from the bus terminal, and there is also another bus stop slightly closer to it. Kiki was very nice and helpful when I emailed asking for directions (she replied very quickly). The entire property was always spotless. There is a small safe provided for your belongings when you leave the room. The room is air conditioned as well. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the beach, which is perfect. None of the noise from the restaurants or people can be heard at night. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

This is charming little hotel. The staff was available and very helpful when we needed their advice or amenities, like a scissors or iron or bus information. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes. Our room was large and clean, open, well lit and pretty.
A few years ago we stayed in a beach front hotel much less nice and much more expensive. We enjoyed our week long stay here.

Great value hotel in good location in Perissa

The hotel was just what I needed. It was a base for exploring the island and for that it is perfect. It doesn't come with a pool or any extra facilities but then I wasn't looking for that & this is how the price is lower. The room was very large (I got the triple room which is massive). Bed is good and the private balcony is big & has good views.
The staff are excellent and the cleanliness is top notch.The breakfast is has a good selection as well.
I would say this isn't a 4 star hotel as the bathrooms let it down slightly but they are still perfectly adequate.

The staff are absolutely awesome. So sweet. Cute dog greets you at the door. 5 min walk to beach, tourist shops, restaurants, car rentals or anything else you might need. I suggest you rent a quad, only about $25/day to see the whole island! hotel is clean and perfectly located

This is a small establishment being run by a very nice young couple. The Perissa Beach is only an easy walk. The breakfast has the usual fare such as eggs, sausages, etc. but my favourite was fresh fruit and homemade filtered yoghurt. The free Wi-Fi worked very well and I had no problem keeping up with the news back home. Perissa is the best place to stay in Santorini if you are after a beach holiday. The beach is wide and well-organised. It is pebbly but this is a problem in all Aegean islands. You have to go to Turkish Mediterranean coast for fine sands. Otherwise, the Irigeneia is the place we would use again if we return to Santorini.

Perissa beach is perfect

I was delighted with my stay. My room was huge, with a bath as well as shower. Lovely views from the roof top balconies of the mountain behind, or sea peeps from the front. Very close to the best part of the beach, and a hop away via the shortcut to the church, which is also where the buses go to Fira, and the delightful little ferry boat just round the headland to Kamari - recommended.
I will be going again. The hoteliers, Kiki and Michael, are lovely, and will help you with anything you need to know.

Value for money hotel near Perissa Beach

A clean, spacious and value for money hotel for our three night stay near Perissa Beach which was only a short walk away.
There is no pool at the hotel but that didn't matter to us as we were there for the beach and this presumably helps keep the cost down.
My only minor niggle was that the free wifi only worked in the reception/breakfast area and not in the room.
Thoroughly recommended.

Practical location, close to bus stops and easy access to the Perissa beach. (This was a great discovery! There is a strip of awesome restaurants and stores located along the beach shore, great for day and night walks!) The hotel is painted in white, probably no more then 30 rooms, cute, very clean and very picturesque! What makes this hotel very especial is the attention of its owners who go beyond their call of duty to make your stay a pleasant experience. Kiki bakes special Greek dessert for breakfast which by the way is like a “home style” continental breakfast. She is always ready to help! Her husband, Michael is a professional photographer who is always pleasant and willing to share his art with you. One of our two daughters is starting photography as a hobby and he was very sweet with her showing his cameras and photos that he was preparing for an exhibition. He also shot a couple of pictures of us and sent them to us! We also met his father who spoke different languages, and conversed with us the last day of our stay in perfect Spanish! I wish them lots of luck and lots of new guests who can appreciate individualized attention. We already miss them!!

The hotel was basic but clean, well-located, and includes breakfast. What stands out though was the over-the-top service. The owners helped me secure a car rental, personal motor vehicle rental, restaurants, provided me with beach towels for our entire group...you name it. I would definitely go back

Classic simple island hotel

We spent three days in Santorini. The hotel is close to several beaches and some genuine Greek restaurants but if you want to explore other areas hiring a cheap car is a good idea for viewing sunsets, exploring other beaches and visiting towns other than Perissa and Thira (accessible by bus).

The hotel has a very attractive reception and bar area and very helpful staff who are keen for you to see as much as possible.

Perfect honeymoon stay

What made this stay the best was the owners. They are fantastic. This was our honeymoon and they helped make it perfect. The breakfast was also delicious. The location of the hotel is great for those wanting to get away from some of the crowds on the other parts of the island. It's by the black beach which is unique and beautiful. The transfer for the airport was painless and very nice. We plan on staying here again when we return to Greece.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful family-run hotel in Perissa. The breakfast (included in the price) was delicious and varied. A nice and quiet place, close to Perissa Beach and to a variety of restaurants. There is also a stop for the local bus at a few minutes by walk, which facilitates your moving around the island.

Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour dans ce bel hôtel de Perissa. Le petit-déjeuner (inclus dans le prix) était délicieux et proposait une variété de choix. Un endroit agréable et tranquille à proximité de la plage de Perissa et d'un bon nombre de restaurants. Il y a aussi un arrêt d'autobus local à quelques minutes de marche, ce qui facilite les déplacements sur l'île.
