Room was clean but located right across from the elevator 2nd floor. Hotel was not sold out. Not sure why we were given this room. Top bedcover was dirty. Removed & place on a chair. Bed was comfortable but they need to replace the pillows,
Front desk was handled by one person. We waited 20 minutes to check in. They need additional staffing.
Breakfast was available from 6:30-9:00. Food was Ok. No staffing in that area. We cleaned our table prior to sitting down. Staff that was handling the Front Desk was also handling the breakfast area.
Hotel was clean, parking was good, rooms could be updated.

Lobby bathrooms were not cleaned and toilet paper not replenished for 3 days even after telling manager every day. Many of the staff have quit in the past couple of months for this reason. Maybe they will do better in the future. Website is incorrect, there is NO onsite restaurant and the pool is NOT heated. Little bit of false advertising.

Nice, convenient location with plenty of parking. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. The lobby and breakfast areas were also well maintained. Staff were helpful and courteous.
We did go the end of April which is a slow time in the area so perhaps because of this the front desk clerk also maintained the food in the breakfast room so quite often items were low and you had to go to the desk to ask for refills. That being said, they were refilled quickly when asked. However, that was the only negative and was just a minor inconvenience.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return when traveling to the Finger Lakes region again.

I stayed here last year as well and the place is overall very clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, and both inside and outside the hotel were organized and well kept. I have another event next year the same weekend and will be looking to stay here again! Breakfast was delicious and hot. There was plenty of parking. Our room was immaculate when we checked in. We did not have room service come through during the weekend as we did not need anything. Thank you for another great stay!

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the last 10 years.
The room was spacious, spotless, and honestly felt like new. The entire hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. From check in to check out, the service was top tier. Special shoutout to the older lady working breakfast, absolute gem. Warm, attentive, and made the mornings better. Breakfast itself was great and well done.
We stayed as a family with my wife and two kids, and it was very comfortable and family friendly.
Two small suggestions. The shower water pressure could be stronger, and it would be nice to have more late night food options available on Uber Eats or DoorDash. Neither of these were deal breakers.
Overall, an excellent stay and I would absolutely come back and recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The hotel was nice. It was in a much more rural area than I expected. Other than the museum across the street, there wasn't much around. Very few restaurants to choose from. The hotel restaurant was closed the first two days of our 4-night stay.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room. It was a typical hotel breakfast with the usual processed hot and cold items. In addition, replacing the highly processed \"whipped cream\" for the waffles with a real whipped dairy cream product would be a much healthier option. The ingredient list was long and contained lots of chemicals. Waffles were best eaten without it. The healthiest part of breakfast was the Chobani Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. Coffee was good and replaced when needed. Breakfast staff (*Amanda, Lori and Vicki) were particularly friendly and repeatedly checked in to see if we needed anything.

The room had plenty of space for a two bed room. Housekeeping staff needs to pay more attention to detail. There were a few dead bugs behind the curtains and on the edges of the carpet. The coffee maker had lots of dust on it and so did the shelves underneath the sink in the bathroom.

Excellent accommedation for Finger Lakes travel in a location near the Village of Hammondsport, Corning, wine country, Keuka Lake, etc. Property is in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained and provides several ammenties to include among others a quality breakfast. The staff members were pleasant and helpful.

I would recommend staying at the Hammondsport Best Western for many reasons. It is in a great location near the quaint Village of Hammondsport as well as wine country, Corning, etc. The facility is relatively new and is well-maintained and clean. There are multiple ammenties, to include wi-fi, exercise equipment, a pool, free on-site parking in addition to a full well-stocked breakfast service. The staff were all pleasant and helpful.

The property was clean. The night clerk was very pleasant. We are both mildly handicapped. We asked for a stool for the tub/shower. We did not receive one and when my roommate asked about it he got a lecture about the disabilities act. The floor of the tub was so slick I could not use it and had to bathe in the sink. I am a Marriott customer through and through. Extensively travelled Marriott is usually there for me. They weren't this time though so I booked a Best Western Plus for the first time. What a great experience. The first thing you noticed was the cleanliness, so much so that I though the property was new, not 9 years old. The cleanliness was evident throughout the whole facility . Next the staff, all, without exception, were friendly and polite. This is all you look for in accomodation and i thoroughly recommend it. I will stay in a Best Western Plus again.

The Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel was a fantastic choice for our family of three adults and two kids.

We were immediately impressed by how spacious and spotlessly clean our room was, easily accommodating all five of us. As a traveling family, we especially appreciated the thoughtfulness that the sofa bed was already made up when we arrived—a huge win! All the amenities provided were great and contributed to a very comfortable stay.

The complimentary breakfast was very nice, offering plenty of variety for both the adults and the children. Most importantly, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit.

Overall, this was an excellent purchase and we highly recommend it, especially for families!

Most of the staff was very nice. They put us in a handicap room. The bathroom was terrible when you take a shower it would flood the whole bathroom. Went to complain and instead of offering to move us they just laughed and handed us a bunch towels. There was also mold all around the shower floor.
Otherwise the place was very clean and the other people working were very friendly. The breakfast and people working it were excellent. The restaurant at nite was also very good.
