The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a balcony and were able to leave the windows open because the area is really quiet. Breakfast was quite nice. We walked three blocks to the train station for our side trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum. (take the express train!) There are lots of dining options in the immediate area, and groceries, too. Alas, we never got to the 6th floor roof bar because it was too windy.

The ocean is not visible from our room, only the roof top.
Exceptional breakfast with hot and cold foods, lot of pastries.
The one drawback is the lack of sufficient outlet plugin. There was only one plug-in in the whole room including bathroom.
Very convenient location, 10-12 minutes walk to Piazza Tasso.

Overall very good, very close to coast, station, and centre of town. Room was clean, bathroom was good, shower had great water pressure, there were lovely views from floor six roof top bar. The lack of flexibility on breakfast times was a drawback - they need to be picked in advance , and were not changeable when we asked.

I wake up in the morning with a bed full of dead ants while I was asleep, the night stand had hundreds of them, I took a video of it and showed it to front desk and they took care of it, Also had hard time to check in I guess its an Italy thing dont check in anyone before the clock tick the min it say check in time, the shower, bathroom and sleeping area are all ceramic tile and its very very slippery

Very good location, just a 5-10mins walk to old town, 5 mins from train station and only 15 min walk to ferries. Lovely comfortable room, very good breakfast, the only criticism was when you leave your room need to take your room key (you only get one) out of wall that controls lights and air conditioner. So, you come back to a warm room, not the best on very hot days but not a major problem. I would definitely stay again.

It was unfortunate that the rooftop bar wasn’t open as I had looked forward to that… but I did have an amazing view from my room, and the staff was very helpful in so many ways. They helped me with the ferry schedule, and the train schedule, and always seemed happy to see me when I returned after my daily adventures! I also loved the daily breakfast at the hotel, it as excellent. The only negative was waiting til late in the afternoon to be able to check into my room, that could be something to consider improving.

Nice view. Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. The shower was tiny. Breakfast was good. Property allows pets but are not pet friendly. I was told that I cannot leave my pet in the room or allow her to sit next to me for breakfast. My dog is small, well behaved and sits in her crate. This meant my husband and I breakfasted separately and were unable to utilize the restaurant for dinner or drinks together. Disappointed.

Great location & views

We had a wonderful stay at La Meridiana. It is just close enough and just far enough for us from the Piazza. We were walking distance to the beach clubs, and Marina Piccolo.

The room was a good size. Enough for the two people and had hanging space in the closet. We were on the 4th floor corner unit and had the most beautiful views of the Mediterranean and Mt. Vesuvius. We opted to upgrade to a balcony room for 30 euro a night and it was well worth it.

After Sept 15th there is no A/C and the street was too loud to leave the windows open so it got a little stuffy at night, but that wasn't a huge problem as the hotel room kept just cool enough to sleep with the flat sheet.

We had daily towel changes which was nice and the bathroom had a huge window.

The lobby staff was very friendly, and allowed us to check in early which we appreciated. The rooftop is also nice. Breakfast was not good - I would opt to not have it the next time I stay here. The coffee was burnt, and the food was not really enjoyable. I'd rather use that stomach space on a meal elsewhere.

Overall fantastic hotel and would stay here again.

Very nice hotel right beside a lemon orchard where you can take cooking lessons. The staff were super friendly, the breakfast bar had a good assortment of food and the location was a 5 minute walk to the main square. Would definitely recommend staying here and looking forward to returning one day.

Although our stay in Sorrento was short and at the end of our trip, it was very pleasant. We were so close to the heart of Sorrento with so many options for dining and shopping. The staff was very helpful with booking transportation and the room was just what we needed. The balcony was clean and the view of the mountainside during sunrise was pristine.

Found the comforter to be dirty and was disappointed we were charged for water and not provided with a kettle or coffee maker. We were not aware that the air conditioning would not be turned on until after our stay in June. We also had a view of the next hotel’s pool and wished we were there instead.

Location! And location. Very close from train station about 10 min walk and ferry dock to capri is 20 min walk.
They do have a great breakfast. Everything is fresh and very good selection. Must check 6th floor roof top lounge.
Sun bed and outdoor shower is available. Very nice at night. You can see beautiful moonlight. We had very good stay. Highly recommended.

A good location without being in a noisy area. Breakfast was adequate but was at a designated time slot. View from terrace on top of building was perfect for sunsets but there was no food or beverages available on the terrace. Easy walk to main piazza and many restaurants. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and limited bathroom amenities like tissues, body lotion and shampoo. Also no room safe for passports etc.

This is a well run, clean hotel right in Sorrento. Just a little walk from the train station (maybe 7 mins?), and about 10/15 mins walk into the main square. There are plenty of stores/restaurants within walking distance. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. Can't go wrong with this hotel.

Charming hotel in Sorrento

Lovely little hotel about 5 minutes from the Circumvesuviana station and easy walking distance to the main square.
Clean, comfortable and my room (526 on the 5th floor) had a good view onto the Bay of Naples and of Vesuvius in the distance.
Staff were excellent, very helpful when my airline cancelled my flight home and I had to stay an extra night.

Very close to trains/buses/city center. Walking distance to everything. From the moment we entered the lobby we were greeted by a kind lady who helped us check in and spoke to us about the area. She was very informative and told us the times of breakfast/dinner and other details. Hotel itself is beautiful, very clean and tidy. The staff are welcoming and kind. They answered all our questions gave us a map of the area and we figured out our way around. The room was clean, shower and bed was comfortable. Water pressure was great. We didn't have any meals at the hotel so i can't comment. Room had a balcony with a table and chairs.Towels were changed daily, rooms were cleaned daily. Absolutely stunning view of the ocean and volcano from our room. Rooftop was beautiful, nice sitting area lots of places to sit and cool down after the beach. There was also a shower on the roof. If I ever visit Sorrento in the future this will be my hotel of choice!

Located a little away from the main touristy areas so it was very quiet. Sorrento is very walkable however so it is still a short walk to the train station, port, beaches and shopping and dining areas. Property was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a full buffet breakfast with fruit, cereal, eggs, and sweets. It has a lovely rooftop terrace with a beautiful view.

The room was clean and a good location. Just little things, like you only get one key .
There is a safe in the room but you have to leave a $50 deposit and have to carry around a big key .
The toilet paper was horrible , just surprising as it wasn’t a cheap hotel .
Some of the staff was wonderful, some just ok , like anyplace though .
I would stay again ( just bring my own toilet paper ) 😂

Check out at 10 am also for the parking.
We needed the parking until 12 and they ask for more 20 euro for 2 hours.
In tutal parking cost 30 euro per night plus 20 euro for 10 am to 12.
Total parking cost 50 euro.
You have to order the parking in advans.

Reasonably priced, clean hotel in the centre

The hotel is centrally located, very close to the mainbus/train station. The staff is polite and friendly. They upgraded our room for free. The room had a balcony with views of the mountains and the sea. Even though the shower cubicle is not big but the shower was excellent with the right pressure. The hotel has a roof with views and there is a nice restaurant which served breakfast and all meals. The price of the room is reasonable and is the right base for exploring the Amalfi coast compared to the rocketing prices in Amafi Town and Possitano.
