We upgraded to the penthouse which had beautiful ocean views. The town of Cala Figuera was so lovely and the front desk provided amazing suggestions for which beaches to visit for our stay. The town itself felt more local than the others, with plenty of restaurants around. It’s a great affordable option for those looking for a place to stay.

A gem

Great location, big room, rather small but really clean bathroom, extremely helpful and friendly staff.
I must have got an upgrade on the room because i wasn't expecting to have a balcony or a kitchenette, so i was pleasantly surprised to have both.
It is also literally beside the Spar supermarket and just about 300m from the bus stop to Campos and/or santanyi, even though it is a very pleasant 30 min walk to santanyi beach.
I will no doubt be returning here.

Great spot in Cala Figuera

Great little spot within a 5 minute walk to the port. Three storey walk up with no elevator (my fault for not reading). Shower was tiny and hard to maneuver without touching the curtain and flooding the bathroom.

Good location in Cala Figuera. The room was fine, get what you pay for...would highly recommend binging ear plugs as the walls are very thin, and although there was a small balcony it felt like there was a lack of outdoor space, or space to hang out.
Would also recommend Pura Vida if youre in the area - great cocktails and amazing views

The receptionist was very friendly and explained everything clearly. We went in Feb and the area was quiet which was ideal for us. You do need a car if you stay here. The studio had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. The lock at the door did feel flimsy and can hear neighbours coming in and out quite clearly. It was only minor. A free bottle of water was a nice touch as we didn’t realise we couldn’t drink tap drink in Mallorca.

Hotel room was adequate, however the room we saw online was a million times nicer and more spacious than what we got. Having said that, the tight room was ok for sleeping and we did apreciate how close (drive) we were to several nice beaches.

No lift,to,apartments,was, My biggest, complaint, it's,o k, for, younger people,but,I'm, an, overweight,55, year old.
the nearest Beach, was,a long,way,away,and, the night life, in, the area, was, practically, non existent.
The general Area, was, really, nice,but,after, two, days, We, left, and,found, another, hotel, in, a livelier,resort.

Close to everything, greatest staff

Cala Figuera and Mar Blau are great choices. Cala Figuera is situated between major beaches to the north and south, all a little different and ridiculously beautiful. The best one is Mondrago which is about a 60-90 walk away. On that side of Palma everything will take time to reach by foot (if you have a car it's a different story) but 60-90 minutes is a good time to be able to reach Mondrago and spend a day there. The staff were incredibly warm. Every single one of them, from the manager to the cleaners to the maintenance workers would say hola everytime you pass - which feels nice. The manager, Diego, is awesome. Fluent in English, willing to always help, always happy. Legend. Terrific place to stay and I'd recommend the location and the hostel/hotel to anyone. The basic rooms don't have a kitchen but they do have plates, cutlery, microwave, kettle.

Overpriced ugly, unfriendly and not even coffee fridge was off.
No real lock on the door and the front door was open 24 hours, even though the place was not guarded. One of the worst experiences ever.

Das positive zuerst:

Das Hotel ist sauber und hat eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Wir hatten die Dachterasse, die sehr schön war mit ihrem Meerblick und ihrer Größe.
Das Personal ist super nett und zuvorkommend, das hat uns sehr gefallen.

Das Hotel ist sehr steril eingerichtet. Etwas Pflanzen wären schön gewesen und allgemein würde ich das Zimmer, als nicht so ”gemütlich“ bezeichnen.

Nach ein/zwei Tagen Eingewöhnung, ist es völlig in Ordnung.

Wir würden das Zimmer empfehlen für Menschen, denen Gemütlichkeit nicht das Wichtigste ist.

Man bekommt ein solides Zimmer und tolles Personal.

Les plus : la situation géographique ! L’hôtel se situe à 2min à pied du Port et de quelques jolies criques.

Les moins : les mauvaises odeurs se dégageant de la salle de bain, le manque d’insonorisation (bruit dans les couloirs jusqu’à 1h du matin).

En définitive, un petit hôtel pas très cher, suffisant si vous êtes de passage pour une seule nuit.

Der Ort und alte Hafen sind wunderschön. Das Hostal ist in Ordnung aber fällt eher unter die Rubrik zweckmässig als gemütlich. Über einem in der Nebensaison geschlossenen Supermarkt gelegen und die Zimmer relativ hellhörig. Die Rezeption war bei Ankunft am Nachmittag entgegen der Aussage in der Buchungsbestätigung nicht besetzt, der Zimmerzugang hat trotzdem einwandfrei geklappt. Unser vermeintliches Zimmer mit Blick auf den Garten ging in Wahrheit zur Strassenseite raus, da war natürlich dann niemand da, der hätte Abhilfe schaffen können. Für das gleiche Geld haben wir an den Tagen davor und danach in 4 Sterne Hotels auf der Insel inklusive Frühstück übernachtet. Cala Figuera ist definitiv einen Besuch wert und für eine Nacht ist das Hostal auch ok, einen ganzen Urlaub würden wir hier nicht verbringen wollen.

Toll ist die geräumige Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Gutes Bett, ansonsten einfache, aber ausreichende Ausstattung. Nicht so gut: der Wasserdruck in der Dusche lässt häufig zu wünschen übrig.

Mar Blau ist eine Unterkunft zentral im Ort, recht einfach in der Ausstattung, aber sauber und preiswert.
Leider ist gegenüber ein geschlossenes Hotel mit einem mit Bauschutt gefüllten Pool. Der Blick vom Balkon ist daher nicht überwältigend.

Recomendable muy bien comunicado.

Estuvimos dos noches, está muy bien comunicado cerca d varias calas muy chulas. El aparcamiento era muy fácil. La chica d recepción fue majísima y nos aconsejo varios sitios. Lo malo que olía a humedad. En definitiva recomendable, económico para ir a dormir y seguir con el turisteo que era a lo q ibamos.

Limpio y nuevo!!!

Hotel muy limpio y con todo nuevo (menaje de cocina, cama muy cómoda, armarios,...) con un pequeño balcón para comer y tender la ropa. Aire acondicionado. Y los chic@s del hotel te dan información de toda la zona tanto restaurantes como playas y calas. Quizás al pueblo le hace falta algo de ambiente pero está en el centro de la zona con las mejores calas.
No nos gustó el baño, ya que el plato de ducha es muy pequeño y la cortina se te pega al cuerpo, no te da ni para agacharte. Y deberían dejar productos para poder fregar (estropajo y lavavajillas) y no estaría mal lo básico para cocinar (sal, azúcar,...)
No tiene ascensor, a nosotros no nos importó pero quizás es algo a tener en cuenta para gente con movilidad reducida.
Por lo general a nosotros nos encantó estar alojados ahí!!!

Estancia perfecta

En general una estancia muy buena, estuvimos en una habitación doble y tenía los accesorios necesarios para preparar el desayuno (microondas, nevera, cubiertos..) y un balcón muy agradable. El pueblo muy tranquilo y a escasos 5 minutos el Puerto de Cala figuera, precioso!! Personal muy amable y atento. Repetiremos seguro.

Nous avons loué un appartement, très fonctionnel, bien équipé, bien situé.
Le descriptif disait \"vue sur jardin\" ce n'était pas le cas, vue sur la rue mais relativement calme. Il était annoncé une douche avec effet pluie c'était une très petite douche avec un rideau et un pommeau de douche simple.
Les odeurs d'égouts sont assez gênantes.
Le personnel est très sympa.
La supérette en dessous s'est génial.

Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig, entspannt ausschlafen ist nicht wirklich möglich, das Bett war aber sehr gemütlich. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und schön. Zusammenfassend eine schöne Unterkunft

Gut, aber mit Potential

Unterkunft sehr sauber und gut im Schuss. Die \"Studios\" sind recht klein und haben auch einen ebenso kleinen Balkon, wovon viele auch auf der Westseite sind (also kein Frühstück in der Morgensonne...).
Es sind relativ neue Klimaanlagen verbaut. Das ist gut einerseits, ärgerlich andererseits. Wenn Dein Zimmernachbar diese benutzt kannst Du über Nacht nicht Dein Fenster offen lassen. Er braucht das nicht, da bei ihm ja die Klimaanlage (sogar recht leise) läuft.
Sehr geärgert haben wir uns darüber, daß in den Appartments/Studios kein Spülmittel, Schwamm/Spültuch und Basic-Sachen wie Öl, Essig, Salz und Pfeffer da waren/sind. Auch selbst auf die freundliche Frage hin an der Rezeption kommt ein verschmitztes Lächeln retour, das dich an den Laden verweist wo dann jeder Mieter wieder unnötig eine große Flasche Spülmittel etc. kauft.
Weiß nicht wo ich das oben einpreisen soll, aber das war definitiv sehr ärgerlich.
Rest alles soweit gut. Achso, irgendwo stand mal was von \"Fenster zum Garten\". Das kann man in 80% der Zimmer vergessen. Die sind zur Strasse raus, die aber nicht so sehr befahren ist, geht also.

Rezeption war telefonisch einen ganzen Nachmittag und Abend nicht erreichbar, Navi hatte Probleme das Hotel zu finden, keine Kontaktaufnahme möglich.

Sehr hellhörig, wenn morgens ab 8h die Putzkolone loszieht.

Die Lage hat uns gefallen. Um diese Jahreszeit sehr ruhiges Umfeld. Sehr freundliches Personal. Einen Wermutstropfen gibt es doch, unser Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Wir haben uns damit arrangiert, aber wem das stört...

An sich eine tolle Unterkunft.
Sauber und freundlich.
Leider roch unser Zimmer extrem nach Feuchtigkeit/Schimmel. Auch die Klimaanlage.
Zu sehen war aber nichts. Alles wirkte sauber und gepflegt.
Zudem ist es leider auch sehr hellhörig gewesen (Putzfrauen machten ab ca. 8.30 Uhr die Zimmer....)

Super Unterkunft. Sauber und sehr freundlicher Rezeptionist.
Das einzige was man kritisieten kann ist die Dusche. Duschvorhang zu kurz dadurch flutet man beim Duschen das Bad.

Hübsches einfaches Hotel mit allen was man braucht

Modern eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Balkon auf dem wir immer gefrückstückt haben.
Im Zimmer und im Treppenhaus des Hotels hängen sehr schöne große Bilder mit den wunderschönen Buchten in der Umgebung.
Wir waren mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden !

Einfach aber Gut

Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden . Kleiner Supermarkt im Haus , so das ein Frühstück schnell auf dem Tisch ist. Angenehmer Check In und Out . Gute Lage für Ausflüge , Parkplätze ohne Probleme. Tolle Preis/Leistung , ruhig gelegen.

Pas mal pour une courte durée

établissement très propre, bien situé mais bruyant et quelques améliorations à prévoir.
le manque d'isolation phonique peut-être un gros problème, nous avions des voisins très bruyants et nous avions l'impression qu'ils vivaient avec nous.....
il serait bon de prévoir un kit avec éponge et liquide vaisselle dans les appartements car rien n'est prévu. Notre appartement sentait très fort le moisi car aucune grille de ventilation. le matin la baie vitrée ainsi que la faïence de la cuisine ruisselait de condensation, le placard penderie inutilisable car une très forte odeur de renfermé.
c'est d'autant plus dommage que l'appartement à du être refait il y a peu et il aurait été très simple de prévoir des ventilations hautes et basses qui permettrait au logement de \"respirer\" vraiment dommage....
le personnel est très agréable et souriant

Nettes kleines Hotel in der Bucht von Cala Figuera

Wichtige Info: das Hotel findet man in Cala Figuerea eine wunderschöne kleine Hafenbucht mit netten Lokalen. Mit dem Mietauto fährt man zu schönen Badebuchten.Der Samstagsmarkt in Santaniy ladet zum Bummeln ein. Frisches Obst,Gemüse,Käse und Wustwaren aus der Gegend, Lederwaren,Schmuck...alles was das Herz begehrt findet man vor Ort.Wir haben die Küste von Cala Pi bis Portochristo befahren,wir bringen wunderschöne Erinnerungen mit.Eine Fahrt mit dem roten Blitz und der Straßenbahn nach Porte Soller ist ein Erlebnis.Ebenso die Tour mit dem Hopp on Hopp off Bus in Palma zu empfehlen!
Das Wetter hat mitgespielt, es war eine schöne Woche Ende Oktober,baden konnte man auch noch.

Alles was man braucht

Kurzurlaub von Samstag bis Mittwoch. Wir waren jeden Tag unterwegs. Aufgrund der Nebensaison war vor Ort leider nichts los aber die Unterkunft war für uns genau das was wir brauchten. Netter Empfang, sauberes Zimmer, kleine aber feine Küchenzeile. Da wir kein Paar sondern zwei Freundinnen waren, hatten wir zwar auch kein Problem mit dem Bett, aber im Generellen ist es schon eher schmal für 2 Personen bemessen.

Ein kleines Hostal in guter Lage und nettem Personal. Einrichtung einfach, aber sehr sauber. Nur das Bett (1,40) war etwas klein.
Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis 👍.

Alles super

Schöne und saubere Zimmer. Ideal, wenn man die Insel erkunden möchte. Mit dem Mietwagen lassen sich schnell die schönen Buchten anfahren. Einen Parkplatz zu finden war überhaupt kein Problem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würde es immer wieder buchen!

Hostel in sehr schöner Lage

Wir waren viel unterwegs, daher haben wir die Räumlichkeiten zum Schlafen und Duschen genutzt.
Dazu hat es gereicht. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht zu empfehlen, dazu ist es zu beengt.

Ruhig und in zentraler Lage

Cala Figuera ist ein kleines Örtchen, in dem man vom Marblau aus alles super zu Fuß erreichen kann. Es wird die Möglichkeit des late Check-In angeboten, welche problemlos funktioniert. Die Zimmer sind wunderbar aufgeräumt und sauber. Es ist eine gute Küchenausstattung vorhanden also sehr interessant für selbstverpfleger. Den Winter über haben viele Geschäfte und Restaurants geschlossen. Die Busverbindung nach Santanyi ist alles andere als hervorragend, das Hotelpersonal hilft einem aber gerne.
Für uns persönlich war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Lage zur Promenade und Wasser sehr gut. Sparmarkt im Haus (aber nur in der Saison geöffnet. Lidl mit dem PKW 5 Minuten entfernt)). Kleiner gemütlicher Ort.

Het was harstikke schoon, staat ergens dat het iedere dag schonmakers zal langskomen, dat is niet geburt. 2 keer in 7 nachten. Wifi werkt heel goed. Receptie was niet open zoals het was angegeven.

Sehr nette hilfsbereite Rezeption, super Lage, eigentlich alles in Ordnung. Aber: brettharte Betten. Und ich schlafe gerne auf harten Matratzen, aber das kam wirklich einem dezent gepolsterten Brett gleich.

bilan positif mais quelques points à revoir

Situation parfaite dans un petit village très joli.
Point négatif: pas d eau potable dans la chambre, salle de bain minuscule, et pas l équipement prévu ( nous pensions avoir un studio avec petite cuisine) nous avions finalement à disposition un micro onde et une bouilloire... Difficile de cuisiner avec si peu!
Point positif: toujours la situation, la propreté des lieux, le personnel, le stationnement facile

Tolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung

Ich habe mich im Mar Blau Hostal sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sauber, modern eingerichtet und es war alles vorhanden,was man braucht (z.B. Küchenutensilien). Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Cala Figuera ist eine wunderschöne kleine Bucht. Ein Besuch lohnt sich schon allein wegen des Anblicks. Ich habe den Urlaub sehr genossen, gerne wieder!

Cala Figueras mitte März

In Cala Figueras ist es im März öde.Die meißten Geschäfte haben noch geschlossen und überwiegend im Hafenbereich gibt es geöffnete Cafe's und
Restaurants.Zur Zeit ist man bemüht alles für den Sommer herzurichten. 5 Km entfernt ist der Ort Santanyi wo man gut einkaufen kann.
Lidl ist dort mit seinen Waren und der Sauberkeit sehr gut aufgestellt.Es
gab keine Probleme mit der deutschen Sprache.

Überraschung vor Ort

Auf der Internetseite stand bei mir fälschlicherweise das Foto des Appartements, das einen deutlich höheren Komfort hat. Hätte ich das reale Bild gesehen hätte, ich mich wahrscheinlich anders entschieden. Auch wenn diesmal tolles Wetter mit teilweise über 20 Grad Ende Dezember war, kann ich nur jedem zu dem Zeitpunkt ein Zimmer mit Heizung empfehlen. Das morgendliche Aufstehen fällt dann etwas leichter...
