The hotel was excellent. We did get in early. Which was very nice. I did find the coffee machine needed rinsing out and unfortunately the sugar and creamers were non existence. We did get in early so it might not of been looked at yet. All good. We had issues with the remote and it was replaced immediately. Breakfast was fresh and alot of choices had to try a but of everything. Perfect. Was a little disappointed the golf simulator wasnt ready but would like to try it on our next visit. Over all very good. Bed comfortable and the kitchen an added bonus. Thank you

I booked this room for my husband for one night as he had to come into Kincardine from Hamilton for work. I booked the reservation before lunchtime and my husband didn’t arrive until around 5 PM. When he got there, he was informed that they had no hot water, and When he asked when there would be hot water back the front desk told him maybe Monday. They told him he could cancel his reservation and then go over to the comfort Inn and book there and their rate was around $150 for the night however he informed them that I already prepaid through Expedia and I used $70 in points but still paid $110 for the room. They then got him a room at the comfort Inn somehow without cancelling his reservation at TownePlace suites. Now looking there is an almost $40 price difference between the two places that we’ve now lost out on. The hotel easily could’ve contacted us in the five hours that we had a reservation before he got there to indicate to us that there was no hot water. Also, I’m not sure how they still have rooms available for $180 a night when they have no hot water.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet. Our room was nice and clean. We loved having a full-sized fridge instead of a mini-fridge which you would find at most hotels. Breakfast was good. Our son loved having pancakes every morning. We would definitely stay here again and have already referred you to other people.

Super friendly staff! Room! Awesome! Could not believe the extent of making our stay effortless from tea towels to wine glasses! Then we found out they will be starting renovations!!! WHAT???? We chose the hotel because it had EV charging.
When we got there we learned that the two charging stations were out of commission due to the imminent installation of new chargers. However, there was nothing on the hotel website about the chargers not being usable. Very disappointing.

The property appears charming on the website but it was a huge disappointment. I booked the hotel based on having an office area / work station and the pool. The pool was very cold and incredibly dirty didn't go in. The computer barely worked and the printer was broken so I was not as advertised.

The suite had a nice kitchen. Property is not taken care of. Carpeting in hall was stretched everywhere. Wooden floors on main floor needed to be washed. Furniture in breakfast area was ripped and torn on the seats.
The sheets on our bed had a musty smell. We were very disappointed in this hotel.

The room has all the amenities for a short or long-term stay. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide selection of hot and cold food. However, the bench seats in the dining area are in very bad need of recovering as the covering literally falls apart when people are seated on them. I would suggest that there needs to be lighting along the driveway leading up to the hotel from the roadway as it is very dark in that area. I would recommend this hotel.

A Smooth and Pleasant Stay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The entire property was very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable experience. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options and great quality. Both check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, making the whole stay hassle-free. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again!

We stayed 2 nights, room wasnt noise proof. We went to the pool and structures werent working and we went to tell the front desk and she just said press the button it works. We went back pressed the buttons and it DID NOT WORK, we went back to her to let her know and she seemed annoyed and said it works just press it. So we just let it go, kids were disappointed but whatever then as we were swimming we start finding balls of hair and dissolving tissue we asked the front desk and she said pool didnt get cleaned all weekend and she wasnt sure when the maintenence guy was coming, if we didnt like it to try going back to the pool later. Disappointing, not planning to go back.

The room was a good size for a longer stay. We had plenty of room to hang out and even a table to eat at. The pool seems to need some repairs. The extra features like the buckets that dump were not working. The breakfast selection on the first day (Friday) was great, but it seemed like there were less options on the weekend. For example, the first day the \"bread bin\" had pastries like danishes as well as bread and bagels but over the weekend, it was just bread and bagels. It was the same for other things too like flavours of yogurt.

Once we were able to contact the hotel directly, they were very helpful in getting us a room that, while not AODA compliant, was partially accessible. This is a major failure of Expedia & why I have to speak with hotels directly. Expedia does not have ACCESSIBLE as either a filter or a description of ANY Canadian hotels. Unfortunately many hotels & motels have no idea of what’s considered ACCESSIBLE. This lack of critical information limits the amount of travel we do. We’d book more trips, but can’t really rely on the info or photos from Expedia.

Also a note to Hotels, who takes a bath in a hotel?!! When you renovate it’s cheaper to just install showers and your guests will be more happy. Additionally a single grab bar doesn’t make an accessible WC!

Convenient - 5min drive to the beach. Tmmy’s mcdonalds, boston pizza and cdn tire around the area.. room is spacious, but they don’t have sofa bed, so a fam of 5 will need two rooms booked because max per room is only 4 for 2 queen beds.. breakfast could use a little upgrade.. dry sausage and eggs.. but overall, hotel is a good choice in the area..

Everything related to the property and the facilities was very good, the staff was excellent, super friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the only thing that for my family and I does not have a good score is the included breakfast, that cannot be called a full breakfast, there was no fruit only bananas, they did not have ham, bacon, the scrambled eggs were so cold and there was no other option of whole or boiled eggs or something that complemented the breakfast, I truly regretted the experience with the food only the coffee and the bread were pleasant.

Our stay at this hotel did not meet expectations we had of a Marriott branded hotel. The rooms and furnishings are dated, bathroom fixtures were loose, 3 of the 4 light bulbs in the hallway ceiling fixture were burned out, and there was an unrepaired/patched hole in the bedroom wall left behind by a technician who repaired something behind it. The hotel lobby itself had a sullen ambience which was less than inviting. The breakfast, although adequate, was less than appetizing, and the coffee was weak and disappointing. Had to walk to the Tim's down the street to get real coffee. Service was nowhere to be found as the hotel appears to be understaffed. Overall, the staff are courteous and pleasant but the hotel could use a refurbishment.

When we arrived(3pm) and upon entering our room the toilet had a leak. Turns out the toilet water was shut off so it wouldnt even flush nor fill up. When the maintenance dude finally showed up(830pm) he did fix the issue and the toilet handle that was apparently on backwards.

Perfume and mens cologne were heavily worn on floor 2. Entire hall smelt like it.

And the seagulls were stocked and loaded!!

Hotel was modern, very clean, and rooms come with a full kitchenette (including glasses, cups, dishes, cutlery, and pots n pans). Full size fridge, microwave, toaster, and cook top. Nice pool, and workout area. Only complaint was that there was a tonne of ice in the parking lot. If anyone falls, that's a law suit right there. But all in all, a good stay.

Room was surprisingly dirty, but I think it may have just been a bit of a one off scenario, last people in the room.must have left a pair of underwear and the dining table was nope wiped clean so felt unsanitary, I travel with my kids do I sanitized it myself.
Staff was incredibly polite and nice no complaints there at all.
We were there for 2 nights, first night we were the only guests, second night we were one 3 guests so it was kind of nice how quiet it was.

Wish I got a fun upgrade as we were the only ones there but that's not a complaint just a funny wish haha.

All in all it was good and served its purpose!
