Clean, spacious, bright, well-equipped rooms at an amazing price. Gale the manager and her staff are great. Both times I got a room with a full kitchen that had everything; cutlery, cookware, cooking utensils, dishes, cups, a stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a full refrigerator. There was also a small dining set. The showers are spacious and have adjustable shower heads for water pressure. The bathrooms have great quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and hand wash in large pump bottles. They provide a lot of towels. Great heating/AC that is easily controllable within the room. Huge windows that are double blinded, so there is a blind to let natural light in but still have privacy, and then a second darkening blind. The breakfast is basic, but always fresh and filling. The SureStay hotel is less than a 5 min drive from B72, Bruce Power’s MCR Learning/Training center. As a Bruce Power contractor, the SureStay gives me comfort, convenience, and peace of mind.

Room and Staff.. I was put on the first floor, and for whatever reason all smokers would group right outside my window being loud and carrying on. All the smoke was being pumped into my room through the heater. To be clear, they were not in a smoking area. After the 3rd group of smokers woke me at midnight with the noise and smoke, I went to complain where I was told “I can see how being in a room with smoke and you not being a smoker would be frustrating”. No monitoring of the area and telling people to go to a smoking area, putting me in a different room, nothing. It was topped off with “and because you booked through Expedia there’s nothing we can do for you”. There’s enough good options to never go there again.

I had a great stay at this hotel. My room was incredibly spacious, it was clean, and I had no trouble with the wi-fi. The free on-site parking was also super convenient. The complimentary breakfast was alright, but it was also free so how much can you really ask for. Before arriving for my stay, I heard a few “ghost” rumours about this location, but I personally had no weird experiences. Overall, I had a great stay at this SureStay location.

We had a very pleasant stay at SureStay Plus by Best Western. The hotel offers excellent value for money with clean, spacious rooms and comfortable bedding, which made our stay relaxing after a long drive. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit.

The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and essential amenities. Despite being in a quiet area, it is well-connected and easy to find. The property is well maintained, and common areas were consistently clean.

Hallways dirty with food crumbs all the time, washer and dryer do not function properly at all even for a small load. Not well kept. Leaking heater/ac unit, they mopped and tossed a bucket underneath and were not concerned about it. Continental breakfast was okay, location was good.

Breakfast was ok. Coffee is not good. Very weak. The room was partially clean though. The sink was dirty in the kitchen area, it has dishes left in it and in the dishwasher as well which has not been run. The table had not been wiped and the floors were sticky. It does have a full size fridge which was very cold and clean. There are minimal dishes. But we were not using the kitchen so it did not matter to us. The room is sizable, lots of closet room and the price point was good. The TV was big and easy to work. The air conditioner worked well. The beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom was clean. We did not use the shower. It was very quiet and we felt very safe. For convenience and safety and excellent ample parking we would stay again. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Breakfast was good, home fries were getting dried out, but overall good. The problem with room 218 is you have to run approx. 3 wash basins full in the rest room before any decent warm water comes out. My wife equally said the same for the shower.

Parking was easy to find at this property. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. And at first glance, the room itself seemed great. If staying for a couple of days, it would be handy to have the in-room kitchen, which does come complete with all amenities, except for a dish towel. However, the level of cleanliness was lacking. When we took a shower we noticed the shower doors were filthy. Soap scum hadn't been washed off. There were a few bars of old soap in the shower that had been left from the previous guests. One of the holders (for shampoo) had come off the wall and just left on the counter. The air vent, which is right above your head when at the sink, is filthy. And when I was standing at the mirror to the left of the bed, I could see dirt and spider webs in the corner of the wall, all the way up to the ceiling. The manager should be conducting spot checks, to ensure the rooms are properly cleaned. Really not acceptable. The breakfast was very mediocre. We could only stomach one day. No fruit or pastries (other than bread and bagels). The jars of add-ons for the oatmeal did not look clean. The eggs were disgusting. The bacon, sub-par. I don't usually expect much from these breakfasts, but I was still very disappointed.

The photos online are outdated - the rooms are run down, floors were sticky and dirty. In my room, there was visible dirt on the bathroom floor and shower curtain. The mirror was foggy and looked like it was “cleaned” with a dirty rag.

The hotel and room itself has a lingering sour/stale odour. I wouldn’t be surprised if the room itself was a previous crime scene. The walls are thin and you can hear every footstep in the hallway and above you. The bed was comfortable enough, but I slept on top of the bed because even the sheets had a strange odour. I tried to check the mattress, but the mattress cover was zip tied onto the bed so couldn’t see if there was any stains/concerns there…

Unless you are absolutely desperate, don’t stay here. I don’t know how this hotel is apart of Best Western.

This property is in poor condition. It needs to be full renovated. A big sign on the building boasts that it modern it is anything but modern. I did not have anyone clean the room for the 3 days we were there. The shower stalls sill is falling apart (the drywall is disintegrating below the shower sill and there was mold). Do not stay at this location. The staff was rude and unprofessional. There is an ice machine that is so loud that you can hear it throughout the building and it dosnt even work. I had several burnt-out or missing light-bulbs. The internet was horrible it would buffer or disconnect constantly. There was rubbish and garbage everywhere outside. Breskfast was cold and limited . One of the worse hotels i have ever stayed at. I will never stay there again. I do not recommend this hotel to my enemies.

I stayed here in 2021 and it was clean and inviting. When I booked it this time, it felt like a completely different experience. Room was filthy, the floors had visible debris on them and the toilet seat and shower floor were soiled. The smoke detector was ripped off the ceiling and left on a shelf with the wires still hanging. Very disappointed to see the condition of this hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant, that's the only good thing I have to say about my stay.

Who knew the breakfast would have been the most surprising? Quite a bit of options- warm, hot,cold - helpful service. Kept things clean and tidy as persons had breakfast.

Had fun making my own waffles.

Great lighting. Double lock. Lot's of extra towels.

Check in and check out was pleasant.

Never needed to call, can't speak to how responsive.

However , i did call days prior to arrival to clarify a few things . They were helpful.

The cable TV: more than 20 channels. Kid's stuff included.

Only issue: A/C seemed to not work or perhaps it was off. Didn't clarify. Window air was fine.

As other's mentioned, if you are expecting 5 star top of the line and concierge- may not be it.

I would definitely stay here again- clean rooms + helpful when needed + filling breakfast. Comparably affordable stay

First room given (112) was deplorable. HVAC until was coated in mould, and when turned on I was instantly triggered into and asthma attack. This was very concerning and is certainly a public health issue.
Floors with black with dirt and many crumbs and dust. Sink and tub did not drain well. There were hairs of previous customers in tub. There were spatter marks on bed headboard and on desk headboard thing. After checking in very late, we turned off HVAC and chose to just sleep. Talked to Assistant Manager (bearded guy) in a.m. He gave us a new room, which was much improved. He also said he would be giving us credit for our first nights' stay. This was not reflected in our bill on check out, and the guy was not around, nor anyone to approve it. It has now been 30 hours and still not credit.

The room itself, was fine, but the hallways looked as though the rugs had not been vacuumed in quite some time. Not sure why they put signs on the front doors asking guests to use the back entrance - strange way to treat your guests, especially since the front doors were propped open! The problem with using the back door, which does not lock, is that it is where the smoking area is - directly beside the door. Again, shocking and disgusting to treat your guests this way. The breakfast, which was included, was mediocre at best. The front desk help was mostly not there. Called the front desk multiple times from my room - no one ever answered the phone.

Stovetop, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. We did find that it was a bit noisy being that it was on the bottom floor right beside the roadway. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay

Left Much to Be Desired

While this hotel has a great location, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. Everywhere you look there is work to be done, and projects half done. It’s quite old, and the decor shows. The hallways were filthy and unkept, and looked like they hadn’t seen a vacuum in months. The hallway fixtures looked like something straight out of the 80s. The room itself was ok, and the bed was comfortable, but it was quite dirty. We were left with half a roll of toilet paper for a 2 night stay. This was a mini vacation for my husband and I, and I was awoken at 6am on a Sunday from the housekeeper stomping down the hall and slamming doors and things. The hotel also isn’t secure, as the exterior doors didn’t require our key card to enter. We will not return here for sure. Spend a little more and go somewhere nicer.

We checked into the room in a hurry, because we were running late for a wedding. When we came back that night, we noticed the garbage and recycling wasn’t changed, there was a dead fly and dirt in the corner of the bathroom, the jets in the bathtub and the bathtub itself was dirty, the drawers in the vanity were rotten And the floors were not washed, socks got pretty dirty.. In the stair well there was spiders and spiderwebs. No one asked how our stay was upon check out.
