This place is amazing! We had an incredible view of the historic bridge in Cahors. The people were accommodating and lovely. The property is well cared for, convenient and a beautiful location. The room was neat, clean, well laid out, and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the cold water dispenser in the hall as well. We would definitely stay here again!

The Best Western in Cahors is one of the best hotels at which we have stayed. The view from our balcony was incredible, the pool is excellent, bed was very comfortable. The service as well was the equivalent of many more expensive hotels.

What a spectacular hotel and hands-down the most impressive BEST WESTERN we've ever stayed at. The view of the Pont Valentré bridge was a nice addition as well. Cahors turned out to be one of the most magical places we visited on our trip to France and this hotel made it even more special. Straight out of a fairytale... Can't wait to return to this wonderful town and will definitely stay in this hotel.

I liked the location a lot! Easy to get around as the immediate area is very flat. Would be good for disabled travelers. I didn’t see any kids at the hotel but would be fine for them too. The service was generally good. However, I observed a customer complaining about something and the manager put it back on the customer. Total gaslighting. It was a reasonable complaint. Also sometimes the food was missing ingredients like avocado but the staff won’t tell you they didn’t have everything on the menu. They seemed to be doing the best they could with what they had to work with.

Check in staff were incredibly helpful with directions for joining the Camino Trail (Camino de St Jacques) across the Pont Treventre. And with getting to key points around the town and locating best restaurants. The room was very good. Quite spacious and modern and the view of the river and bridge was incredibly special. I couple of glasses of wine on the terrace were also very special. In addition undercover parking was easy. Only issue we had was trying to cool the room down from 24 degrees. Had to keep windows and balcony door open. That was a little annoying. We complained but staff didn't think it was hot.

This place was spectacular in every way. The location was perfect, an easy walk anywhere you would want to go and right next to the river & a beautiful bridge. My balcony (!!!) looked out over the river and bridge. The room itself was large, clean, and extremely well appointed. The staff were charming and helpful. They spoke English but were happy to indulge me by letting me practice my terrible French on them. Breakfast had a zillion choices, including Malbec grapes grown in their own garden. I love this place

This hotel was exceptional. We stayed in sad circumstances and had to change our plans a few times, the staff were very compassionate and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic and rooms and lounge bar had lovely views. Seating outside to look over the river is nice too. Room was clean, great coffee machine, free water in the fridge, and a great terrace with chairs. We will definitely return in happier times to stay here. We had dinner in a couple of evenings due to tiredness, and found the Evening menu a bit limited - especially for children, although the ice creams were great! There’s lots of choice in the main town to eat though so no need to stay in really!

We spent only 2 nights at the Best Western Divona in Cahors and what a treat that was! The staff was very professional, with a smile on their face, always there to help and give us advice. One issue to be solved is to manage to have cleaning staff after 3 pm on weekends so they can be able to have all rooms made on time, even if they have “wedding” as i was told as an excuse by the manager/owner when our room wasn t done.

This hotel is perfectly situated for a visit to Cahors and the surrounding area, being positioned beside the River Lot and the beautiful Valentré bridge, which was the view from our room. We chose a superior double which was spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the river. The old town and some excellent restaurants are about 10 minutes walk away, although there are also restaurants much nearer. The hotel serves a varied and comprehensive breakfast menu, and some other catering but does not have a restaurant itself. The staff were all excellent. There is free outside parking or a garage which is charged. The small pool and fitness area are a pleasant addition to the hotel facilities. We will definitely stay there when we are next in Cahors.

The hotel is brand new and well considered -- there is even a pair of earplugs in the room in case the falls in the river are too loud with the windows open. The hotel tends to the details. The breakfast room transforms into a tea room in the afternoon and a bar in the evening.

Easily Beat Western status. The hotel is inside the town, on inside the oxbow of the River Lot. Right on the pretty park walk. Room 110 was well designed and equipped. Great view of 14th century Valentré bridge. Superb shower. Capsule coffee maker. Slippers provided. Thick soft towels. Desk service very friendly and efficient. We paid 9 Euros for private parking, which was probably unnecessary. Plenty of close by free public parking. Didn't take the 6.5 euro breakfast as we went into the Saturday market in the old Town. 10 minute walk. Stay here when you are in Cahors.

The room was clean and modern with a large comfortable bed. Large picture window along all the wall, with a door out to a balcony with chairs. Set in a great position for views over the large Lot river, and the old picturesque Valentry bridge and wier. For privacy there was an electric privacy blind as well as curtains. Small hotel with tables for breakfast both inside and out. Really great buffet breakfast at reasonable price. All you could want in both hot and cold selection as well as self service coffee machine making it from grinding the beans.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional- incredibly helpful recommending and booking restaurants, cheerful and prepared to do what they could to make our stay as good as it could be.
The view from the small balcony over the Pont Valentre and weir was lovely.
Breakfast average but this is France!
Nespresso machine in room - you can ask housekeeping for extra capsules. Very clean rooms. Housekeeping even sorted us out at 3pm when we had mistakenly left our do not disturb sign on.
V comfy beds. Our room was a superior twin and it was spacious enough for our 5 night stay. Standard double a bit smaller so possibly best only for shorter stays.

Good choice in Cahors

This is a great hotel that seems quite new. It is located right next to the historic bridge in Cahors, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the main part of the old town. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The bed was super comfortable - we hated to leave it! Every room has a balcony overlooking the river and the old bridge. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was generous - our only complaint was that the scrambled eggs were really bad. There was a good variety of food at breakfast, so that was not a problem for us. We ate at one local restaurant our first night; it was only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. All other restaurants in the immediate area were closed while we were in Cahors, so that meant walking to the old town each evening. This was pleasant for us because it is an attractive town, and there were several restaurants to choose from on the main road by the old town. Overall, we were extremely pleased with this hotel and highly recommend it.

Stayed for three nights while visiting Cahors. The hotel was very new and in an excellent position on the river overlooking the Pont de Valentre. Every member of staff we encountered was very friendly and eager to help and maximise our enjoyment. The rooms all overlook the river and are very comfortable, light and for a modern hotel, spacious. The bed was excellent with a duvet and endured a great night's sleep. Breakfast was buffet style continental, with additional hot items bacon, sausages and eggs. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
