This property was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. It is a small quiet southern point of the Maldives that has everything you would want for a perfect vacation. The staff is very kind and helpful. Thiloma in the restaurant is so hospitable. Anastasia at the front desk earns a gold star as well.

the location is stunning! Whatever villa you choose you'll always have a great view of the ocean! We were lucky to stay in 518, water pool villa and it was perfect! You have your little slice of paradise if you fancy some great snorkeling (right on top of the reef) and some private time. Otherwise the big main pool, just outside the main restaurant is incredible too and you can walk to the beach and jump into the ocean directly from there!
The two restaurants offer a big variety of food, catering for every need! The restaurant team is so welcoming and kind. Madvi chats with everyone with her big smile, Poppy makes the best coffees, the whole team is attentive and present without forcing interactions! My wife unfortunately was not feeling great for the last two days and they were really kind, genuine and caring! 10/10!
If you fancy a relaxing afternoon I can't recommend to try the Spa enough! Both Ida and Rena looked after us so well and their massages are a perfect mix of relaxation and rejuvenation! The diving center has many options for scuba diving, snorkeling and some excursions! We loved the sunset cruise, we were able to take amazing pictures and saw the dolphins too! Skip the local island tour, Marty, our guide was very informative but there is really not much to see. Also, make it clear with the reception, which discounts you can get and what is included in the offers as it was very vague and we discovered it only when we settled the bill. Overall great time!

So the absolute deciding factor for me to pick this resort over all the others in the Maldives is the Tempurpedic beds listed on here, they do not have Tempurpedic beds. My wife and I have found the back pain caused by a cheap mattress can ruin a vacation. This resort has one restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner and all inclusive only covers the buffets and a second restaurant that requires reservation for dinner where most of the menu is included, so the "all inclusive" is really more of a partially inclusive. The first night we ordered room service, 30 hrs of travel will really take it out of you, the guy that dropped us at our room with our bags said the food would be covered with the all inclusive, but when they brought the food it came with a bill for $180. The manager was very understanding and bent over backwards to make things right for us with each complaint, she seemed to be the only that really knew what she was talking about or even really cared. one of our biggest complaints was nothing was spelled out as to what "all inclusive" included. the manager credit those room service charges and told us to go sign up for the sunset cruise tour, it sounded like it was included the way she said it... it was a good tour, then we got back and they handed us a $250 bill. The property and rooms were beautiful and peaceful but the lack of communication was stressful and if you dont eat the buffet its $30 for a burger. ultimatly I wish I would have chosen a different resort.

My husband and I stayed at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort for 8 nights in February to celebrate our honeymoon. We had a lovely time! We enjoyed the Alita restaurant's buffet every day (we tried Vista for one lunch and it was good, just didn't go back at all). We had a romantic dinner on the beach which was incredible. We did the dolphin excursion (totally worth it, saw a ton of dolphins), fishing excursion (I'm glad we used a voucher for this instead of paying as it was a little disappointing using hand reels out in front of the resort), snorkeling every day from our villa, and massages as the spa. A magical experience truly.

Wow! This resort was absolutely amazing! It was our first time in the Maldives and this place did not disappoint. We snorkeled, hung out by the pool, scuba dive (no prior experience), jet ski, and had professional pictures! There is so much to do you can do a different thing everyday. Staff were great and kind and so helpful. We were especially surprised when we not only had help when we arrived to the airport but when we left as well. They were extremely accommodating and made our stay amazing. Gracia was our dive instructor and she was great and knowledgeable! She made diving a great and easy experience. We had massages on our last day and it was so relaxing and a great way to end our trip. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will be back!

Beautiful property and overall the staff were so amazing. The food was amazing and the view, beach and pool are perfect. The over water bungalows are definitely very special.

We had a really bad experience at check in when we were told we had to have booked the domestic flights through the hotel and I had booked through the airline, I didn’t think this was clear from the outline in Expedia but it also shouldn’t have mattered, the check in manager Hoodhi was so rude and patronising so it wasn’t a great start. The other thing was we were travelling for our honeymoon and it was delayed due to having cancer after our wedding and they were not going to offer the honeymoon benefits (because the wedding was 10 months ago instead of 6) which are just bubbles and some decorations so I don’t see why they wouldn’t. Seemed pretty mean. But Alisha and gadeer at the restaurant were amazing and Ella at reception was lovely and sorted it out for us.

We had a nice vacation at the resort. The water is amazing. Something I will remember forever. Within the lagoon, there were lots of corals and fish and we saw sharks, turtles, stingrays and an eel! We went on the dolphin cruise, the sandbank adventure and the snorkeling tour and we had our first scuba diving experience. They were so exciting but the staff kept us very safe. Every experience was absolutely breathtaking. We also had a couple fitness classes with the lovely instructor and a spa day which was nice. The food was ok at the buffet. It’s a bit of hit or miss. The food at the Vista was lovely. I had a couple of meals there. The staff were all nice and helpful. It was the most luxurious and fun vacation I have ever had.

The best hotel I have ever visit, the beach was so clean and nice, rooms great ether water villa or beach villa, love the swimming pool In my room was huge, main swimming pool was really big, food was so delicious, staff was helpful and wonderful, manger was so kind and visiting us every single day to make sure we are happy, sunset bar the beauty of the resort, spa was so relaxing and price of treatment was so cheap compared with other resorts, therapist Naomi was the best to make me relax and ready to sleep, the family villa was big enough for more than 10 persons with big huge swimming pool, diving center was amazing we went to see turtles and we so sharks and dolphins, the privacy was 100%, beds so comfortable, shampoo smalls so nice, pool bar was really nice to see the sunset although the sunset water villa, they are the best resort ever, if you didn’t visit yet you have to.

This place was wonderful. We booked a sunset-facing overwater villa with a private pool and it was a dream. The water outside the room is waist deep which is great, and you can jump between swimming in the Indian Ocean and the private pool with just a few steps. There's a second outdoor shower that connects the deck and the indoor bathroom, which is great to rinse off before entering the villa, which is pretty easy to get a bit messy otherwise with wet feet. The staff was all very kind and helpful, easy to talk to. The food is great assuming you like the day's theme. They switch it up with a different theme each night so if you're not a fan of the theme, it may not be to your liking—but you can order a la carte from either restaurant if that's the case. The hotel is a 1-2 minute gold cart ride from the airport and they take care of all the details—they even check you into your flight and drop your baggage off so you can enjoy more time at the resort—you get taken over just before your flight when it's time to board. Would 100% stay again!! A quintessential Maldives stay.

Stayed for 6 nights, one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The magnificent experience started when I arrived to Male airport and found a representative of the hotel waiting for us. He took our bags and checked us in the airport lounge so that we could wait for the connecting flight. He took our bags and passports and checked us in to the connecting flight while we were had some coffee in the lounge. We arrived at kooddoo island and found another representative who took us directly to the hotel and in few minutes we were checked in and in our rooms - everything was very smooth. During the whole stay everyone was very polite and extremely professional.
I went to the diving centre and met Ezra, who went above and beyond for us. We planned a few dives. The location is one of the best for scuba diving. I done a Shark point dive, which was a once in a life time experience. In addition, the hotel food was very nice, multiple varieties. I felt extremely sad to leave. Even after we left, the hotel arranged a Malé tour for us as we had some time to spare in Malé. I highly recommend this hotel.

A holiday to remember...

We had a wonderful stay. Our children took time off from work to join us on this trip and everyone had a fun time! Snorkeling is great and the adventure diving is highly commendable! The staff was always helpful and friendly. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. We took the jet ski ride and managed to see dolphins!

Mostly good. Staff are friendly. Just that when I was given the brochures in Spa and excursion earlier before the trip, I wasn’t informed on the service charge and GST chargeable. It would have been less shocking if the service charge and GST rates are informed beforehand. Aircon in villa not cooling enough, a tad warm. But overall, the stay was nice. View on overwater sunset villa was breathtaking.

Beautiful resort, amazing people and views

Beautifully designed for luxury, and reasonably priced given everything it has to offer. The staff I would say might be the biggest asset, everyone right from the airport arrivals, reception, restaurant staff and all the way to cleaning staff, all have remarkable hospitality, willing to go the extra mile just to make sure the guests are having the vacation of their dreams. Have stayed at both the over water sunset pool villa, and the beach villa, both are well designed and amazing views to boot! Dining at both the in house restaurants came with great views of the resort, especially vistas with unending views of the marine life at almost all times of the day, and the presentation of their food is just lovely. Special shoutout to Ismail, Royen and the team at vistas for making their guests feel so comfortable and well taken care of! The only downside is probably the flight timings to the resort can be a bit restrictive so it may affect the amount of time you can have at the resort. The buffet spread whilst not terrible, did fall below expectations in terms of both the spread, and the taste, definitely needs some improvement, especially for the lunch/dinner spread. Overall a great experience and should definitely be checked out for a great time in maldives!

The hotel is beautiful, the bed is amazing comfortable, very clean and well decorated. All the staff is very friendly. There are two restaurants, one a la carte and the other is buffet. The only thing that I can say is that in the buffet restaurant the food at night was too spiced for western tastes, nevertheless we understand that the big majority of guests prefers spiced food.
The Scuba diving is a must and also the kayak. You will see amazing fishes, baby sharks, turtles in the left side of the hotel.

I can say that we had a wonderful time here. No need to explain how beautiful resort is. All staffs are kind, friendly and helpful. Especially, Ms.June who even gave us her line id in order to contact her directly anytime we needed help. And the last day, we have forgotten a baby stroller at the resort. The next day their boss would go to my country. So, he helped to carry it with him for us. Today, we already received it at his hotel he stays. We’d like to say thank you very much for everything and will definitely go back again. Anyone who looking for the resort in Maldives. Here is the best one. If you found my message, no need to hesitate to choose.

Wir sind als Pärchen angereist und sind insgesamt super zufrieden mit unserem Urlaub! 🌞
Zuerst möchten wir das wirklich zuvorkommende und freundliche Personal des Hotels loben. Besonders die Mitarbeiter hinter der Bar (die wirklich gute Cocktails machen, kein Fusel) das Personal im Service, im Spa und im Dive Center. Jeder hat einen super Job gemacht und ich könnte die ganzen Namen gar nicht aufzählen - großes Dankeschön aber an Joana (Vista) und Kasun.
Die Anreise war lang, aber es lohnt sich. Als wir in Male angekommen sind, durften wir in einer Lounge mit Frühstücksbuffet und Dusche warten - wir wurden immer von einem Mitarbeiter begleitet.
Vor Ort im Hotel wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten auch direkt in unsere Zimmer einchecken. Wir waren zuerst in einer Strandvilla und hatten einen super schönen Zugang zum klasse Strand, alles war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die letzten zwei Nächte haben wir in einer Wasservilla verbracht und fanden den Zugang zum Wasser perfekt.
Das Schnorcheln am Hausriff hier ist hervorragend, man sieht einfach super viele Fische, Delfine, Haie Schildkröten und wenn man Glück hat auch Rochen. im Dive Center konnten wir uns problemlos ein Kajak oder ein Standup mieten, alles inklusive. Auch die Schnorchel Ausrüstung haben wir kostenlos bekommen.
Das Essen hat uns gut gefallen und war frisch, könnte allerdings auf Dauer abwechslungsreicher sein (die Speisen sind oft recht ähnlich).

Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!!!

Wir haben uns für unsere Flitterwochen für Mercure entschieden und damit alles richtig gemacht. Das Resort ist groß und sauber, das Servicepersonal sehr sehr freundlich, das vielfältige Essen sehr lecker und die Tagesaktivitäten bieten spannende Abwechslung für jeden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden es mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Obwohl das Resort neben dem Flughafen ist, stört dieser absolut nicht! Wunderschön gepflegtes Resort, Restaurants sind super, Auswahl und abwechslungsreich. Personal sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit.
Gehen auf Wünsche ein z.b. Geburtstagskuchen :-)
Die Wasservilla ist spitze, das Außenriff jedoch weit entfernt zum schnorcheln. Sandboden ist aber auch angenehm.
Empfehlung ist Wasser Villa mit Pool, um auch Abends im Wasser die Sterne zu genießen.

Отель очень качественно сделан , персонал обучен и дружелюбен(хочется отметить русскогогворящего менеджера), риф интересный ,питание очень приличное, отель скорее пять звёзд ,чем четыре.Но есть один нюанс,мы до него были в отеле Baros_это классический отель остров,а Mercure -это очень хороший пляжный отель с ограниченной территорией.Поэтому он лишён главной мальдивское фишки, такой если хотите робинзонады.Жили в вилле на воде , все очень удобно и прилично, придраться не к чему.

Equipe muito simpática e receptiva, desde a chegada no aeroporto de Malé até nossa saída, com o cuidado de check in e despacho de bagagens alem do preparo especial de café da manhã às 4h da manhã tendo em vista o horário de nosso voo de retorno. Extremamente limpo e organizado. Um agradecimento especial aos atendentes do “pool bar” Dinesh e Nalin pela simpatia e preparo dos melhores drinks. Férias fantástica no paraíso com o atendimento especial de toda equipe do Mercure. Amamos nossa estadia.

Perfect, a dream place!

My dream trip. After 7 years together my husband and I got married and spent our honeymoon at the Mercure Koodoo in the water Villa bungalow overlooking the sunset. Unbelievable, fabulous, impeccable. From the incredible gastronomy we would ask for just more seafood on the menu but nothing that shakes the delicious Buffet served daily in the main restaurant. Thanks in particular to the Chef Juber and the maitre Majid for the almost exclusive attention. Thank you also, for the team of the Pool Bar, especially the beloved Ibrahim and Dinesh who, always with a smile on their faces, good mood and cheers, have made our moments in the Maldives even more special. The infinity pool is a movie thing, fabulous!
The Dive Center PADI Suvadiva is something is just as wonderful! As passionate divers that we are we can say that through the work of this Dive Center we carry out our best dives in life. Highlight for the instructor MOODY that took us to the best points, with much experience and affection. Diving with him was a privilege! We are in love with the Maldives and the Mercure is a fundamental part of this feeling. Only negative note is about not having previously explaining to us that the resort was very far from the Baa Atoll and that it would be impractical to dive in the UNESCO reservation while staying there. As divers we previously emailed asking about this and we were told that at the Dive Center would explaine better, but the fact is that the resort is very distant.

มีข้อผิดพลาดหลายประการในการเดินทางครั้งนี้ 1. รร. ไม่บอกรายละเอียดการต่อเครื่องในประเทศเลย แจ้งว่ามีคนไปรอรับ แต่พอถึวเวลา เกิดข้อผิดพลาด ทำให้ต้องรอต่อเครื่องนานถึง 12 ชั่วโมง นานมากๆๆ 2. พนักงานพยายามตอบสนองความต้องการดี แต่โดยรวมต้องรอนานพอสมควรค่ะ

4박 일정 중 1박 비치빌라 / 3박 Overwater빌라 이용하였습니다. 쿠두공항이 위치한 섬에 있어서 굉장히 편했고, 내부 시설도 훌륭하였습니다. 친절한 스태프 들에게 감사 드리며 인상깊은 여름휴가를 보낼 수 있었습니다.
+ 공항 인근이라 항공 소음에 걱정하시는 분들이 있을 수 있으나 전혀 느끼지 못하고 지냈습니다.

浮潛潛水超級靚，海灘清澈見底，很多珊瑚魚，還見到鯊魚bb，教練友善可靠。
餐廳食物好吃，天天都有特別款式供應，口味迎合大眾需要，廚師還會訪問客人味道口味而提出改善。
對酒店整體十分滿意，有機會會再來。超級推薦給新婚蜜月夫婦或渡假首選
