Pre-paid reservation. When we pulled up for check-in, the hotel was closed and clearly under construction. Upon checking into another hotel, we learned that water pipes had burst during the recent storm. Neither hotel itself or Hotels.com are helpful with the matter; both pointing at the other.

There was no one there and the hotel lobby was torn out, some random guy walking buy said they had flood damage from 2 week back. We were not notified. I truly hope we are not charged because we did have a place to stay.

I arrived at the hotel and found it closed. No one contacted me to tell me about the closure, so I had no idea until I showed up to check in. I also tried to call the hotel earlier in the day to let them know that I would be arriving later than expected, but Days Inn customer service lines were terrible. I kept getting to a automated message but couldn't ever get through to talk to a human, so I gave up calling. I messaged the hotel through Expedia but never got any response. I am really annoyed by the poor customer service with Days Inn. Fortunately, I was able to quickly reserve a different room online and wasn't completely stranded. Interestingly, the new hotel told me that the Days Inn was shut down because of a pipe bursting about a week before - plenty of time to notify people with reservations! Now, I have to try to get Expedia to give me a refund, because they think I stayed at this hotel and didn't cancel the reservation in time.

I am a young woman who has been traveling for work and I have used this hotel a couple of times. The room was always clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was nice. However during my last stay this past week there was an unfortunate incident that has made me never want to stay at another Days Inn. While I was at work the roof caved in, which I understand is an extenuating circumstance. Once all of the guests who were in the building were ushered out someone went into my room and removed all of my belongings, I assume in an attempt to protect them from the debris and water that was now filling the hotel. Through all of this I did not receive a single phone call, text message, or email regarding the situation. I returned from work at 4:30 in the afternoon to a completely abandoned hotel. There happened to be an electrician in the parking lot turning off power to the building who took pity on me and explained what happened. I had to climb over police tape to go inside and track down my belongings that as I said were not in my room anymore. There was not a single employee on sight when I arrived to explain the situation or answer any of my questions; it was like I was completely forgotten about in the commotion. I have tried contacting the Days Inn customer support line only to be given the run around for the situation and I do not believe anyone is taking me seriously. So just know that if you book at a Days Inn they do not have your safety and well being in mind.

The room was pretty clean except for one questionable stain on one of the chairs. I stayed here during the winter time and the room took forever to warm up but once warm it definitely stayed that way. The walls are definitely thin and my room was near the stair case so it seemed like all night I could hear people walking pretty clearly. The breakfast area is really small and really only has the options of cereal, waffles,bread,and muffins, juice, coffee,milk,and yogurt. Overall I would rate my stay here a 7/10

Many things were done well and it was the cleanest hotel I have stayed in in a while, but the washers were not functioning and desk staff refused to put a sign on them (causing me to come back a second night to do laundry).

Parking lot was slick full of ice during an ice storm almost fell several times. No hot water in the room I was originally put in but the girl at the front desk moved me to another room on the 3rd floor. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue some hairs found along the tub and in the beds, floors not really cleaned either, other guests were very loud as well and not respectable. Would not stay again since there are other options around the area.

We had a long drive home from visiting our youngest for Thanksgiving. Because of the forecast for \"winter weather\", we decided to leqve Saturday night and get ahead of the rush of traffic. Somerset was a convenient stopping point and the Days Inn was a perfect resting place. It was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced! The breakfast was not extensive, but it was what we wanted before getting back on the road. And all the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely plan to stop here again as we travel back and forth to visit our kiddo!

I stayed at days in three times in the last two weeks, the last time with my two cats. The first two times was on the way to and from Cincinnati to find an apartment. And the last time was a one way route back to cincinnati from New York. Why no brochures about the Flt 93 Memorial? Breakfast sucks. This room is cleaner than the one we stayed in Oct 13-14. In that one (207) the bathroom threshold is duct taped in place & the tub had two different kinds of hair on the bottom.

Our room was right next to the elevator which dinged loudly when anyone used it. I struggled to sleep listening to the elevator ding all night. I tried covering it with the air conditioner fan but that developed a weird crumpling noise.

Seems the whole state of PA is trying to over-charge out-of-state visitors. Gas was especially egregious, over $3.50/gallon, considering most of the East coast is around $3.00. Central and Mountain is usually less than $3.00/gal.
