Area is a little ducked off from the night life in Tachikawa which can be perfect or slightly inconvenient depending on your desires.

If you want to get drunk and have a night to remember*, maybe it's a bit of a walk for a drunk person.
If you want easy access to the night life but peace and quiet, away from the trouble, it is the exact right distance for you.

If you're on foot and using the train system, be prepared for a little walking. Its not too bad if you like walking medium distances. There's plenty to do and see in-between the station and hotel.
I can not speak on drivers' and the experience with parking, as I was on foot for my experience.

The staff were very friendly, but the whole hotel smelled very badly of cigarettes. The smell in our room and the floor we stayed on was very bad even though we booked a non-smoking room. We only stayed for one night so it was bearable but a longer stay would have been very difficult with the constant strong smoke smell.

I was so impressed with the staff’s ability to accommodate me with their English! The room was perfect for what was needed, and the location, whilst a 12 min walk from the station, it was wonderfully QUIET and restful. Would definitely recommend!

It took a while to find out the hotel. I took a taxi from Tachikawa station.

It cost me 500 yen. It is 15 minutes walk from the station. The hotel is clean, staffs are nice. The best thing is breakfast; buffet style.

スタッフはみんな優しくてよかったです。ただ部屋の大きさは思ったより小さかった、ちょっとほこりがある部分があったのもきにらなかった。駅からはちょっと歩くけどそれはあんまり気にしてなかった。周りにもいろんな飲食店あるので便利だった。

my top choice for Tachikawa

Very reliable Wi-Fi. Excellent coffee and a healthy and tasty wonderful breakfast. Very clean everywhere. Very thoughtful room amenities - so thankful for a desktop mirror. Everyone at the front desk and the breakfast room is consistently courteous. I stayed here three times within a year and just loved it and don't want to stay anywhere else when in Tachikawa.

Very very comfortable bed and pillow. Very clean everywhere. Wonderful breakfast. Above sufficient amenities. Very professional staff. Very reliable WiFi connection. I don't want to try any other hotel in Tachikawa because HOTEL MYSTAYS Tachikawa is simply wonderful!!!

The Hotel Was, Ok. Not What I Was Expecting The Smoking Are on The Hallway Had A Very Strong Smell Of Nicotine, The Smell Of Nicotine Was So Bad That It Got Me Sick, I Hadn't Check Out A Day Early Because Of It, Other Than That It Was Ok.

Will choose this hotel again

The room was clean and comfortable and well equipt. The breakfast had a nice variety of both Japanese and western food available every day and was delicious and the good coffee, too. The staff was always pleasant and very helpful whenever I needed assistance- making copies, calling a cab, and looking up information about the local establishments.

There are many better options in tachikawa

Air condition is central located and the room becomes very hot at night. Make sure you notice that the bedsheets and linen service is only twice a week on some discount bookings. I left my booking after the 2nd night.

What I liked = Staff 1st class both day and nightshift.
Not liked = Room small, a little outdated, very hard western style beds.
Not liked = A bit of a walk from Tachikawa Station.

カードキーが正常な状態か否かは、予約客が到着する前に確認しておきましょう。バックパック担いで最上階とフロントを往復するのは辛かった。
ホテルのせいとは言えないが、駅から遠く、しかも客引き（立ちんぼ？）がいるような歓楽街を通らないといけない。女性や家族連れには、絶対にお勧めできない。

残念だったのは客室のティッシュケースとそれと同素材の小物入れ？の汚れが気になったことです。特に四角い小物入れというかはそこに何かを入れることは断念するくらいだったので残念でした。

給湯器が故障してお湯が出ず朝になっても直らず結局お風呂に入れませんでした。

息子のサッカーセレクションで2泊利用させて頂きました。
朝食は時間の都合上つけておりませんでしたが、息子が自分でお水を水筒に入れたいためお願いしたところ、快く引受けてもらえたと言ってました！

快適に過ごさせていただきました。

近くに飲食店もいっぱいありコンビニやマイバスもあり何も不便なしです。子連れでも安心でした。お部屋によってはベッドを２つくっつけて用意してくれます。（要電話にてリクエスト）
朝食のお野菜もとてもうれしかったです。
駐車場もあります。（有料ですが割引になるキャンペーンをしていることもあるようです。）

給湯器が壊れているとのことで、お風呂に入れなかった日があった。
その分を割引にするなど対応があってもいいのではないかと思った。
部屋の清掃を頼まない時は、袋にバスタオルなど入れて部屋のドアにかけておいてほしかった。

お部屋は綺麗でアメニティも充実していて良かったです。
宿泊した時期がちょうど温度調整が難しいということもあってすでに暖房使用になっており、暑く感じました。
ホテルは静かで良かったのですが、ホテル周りにはカフェなどなくてアクセスがいまいちでした。朝食無しで宿泊したのでここは朝食付きの方がお薦めです。

喫煙室しか空いていなかったので始めは匂いが気になりましたが、空気清浄機のおかげで匂いもあまり気にならなくなりました

また宿泊する機会があるのでgoto passキャンペーンについて説明が欲しかったのですが、宿泊時に用紙に記入したので申込みは大丈夫なのでしょうか？チェックアウト時も時間があまりなく聞けなかったので...
