The staff are lovely from first arriving and being greeted by name before saying anything to speaking with the property owner everyone was easy to speak to and very helpful. Definitely a hidden gem of a property, it was clean and modern with a rustic touch. The pool and poolside was relaxing and having an apartment facing the setting sun was the icing on the cake. Better for families with kids than for couples
Charming building and property. However a children’s playground next to the swimming pool mean this isn’t a suitable choice for couples looking to relax next to the pool. Kids were also kicking their ball against the courtyard wall and someone’s toddler walked into our bedroom one morning. Some of the furniture is pretty worn and should be replaced (in courtyard). Nearest town Rosolini has supermarkets and restaurants but is run down and not scenic, at least not the parts we saw! So you have to drive 20-30 min to go somewhere scenic, like Noto. It was clean and staff is friendly.

The place is lovely and we had a relaxing stay. Breakfasts were excellent wth great coffee. It was the beginning of the season and the place was undergoing alot of maintenance. This was a little annoying as we were paying full price and so expected everything to be in order. They really should not be doing noisy construction work whilst guests are having their breakfast!

Wonderful place to stay. Well located (at the top of a big hill!) and good location as a base to see all the sites in South East of Sicily. Beautifully decorated and friendly staff. Twice weekly local dinner on site and lovely breakfast available daily (at extra charge). Weather wasn’t great for us so didn’t make use of all of the pool / outdoor facilities, but great to have the option!

Beautifully renovated old farmhouse in the countryside. The rooms are large and we'll appointed. However the furniture is all from IKEA... which was surprising considering the price of the rooms per night. It felt more like a standard apartment rather than a 4* hotel. You will sleep very well here. It's very dark, cool and quiet! Perfect for the weary traveller.
Overall the grounds of the hotel are a bit lackluster. There's a large pool and sundeck area, that was overrun with mosquitos and smelt of sewage. I didn't try the hot tub as it was, erm, green. So not quiet what I imagined.
All this aside, the staff were fantastic and friendly. The breakfast too was excellent with a great selection of foods on offer.
Please note there isn't a restaurant at the hotel, so bring your own food to cook in the kitchen.

Tranquil upmarket Boutique Resort
Superb tranquil boutique resort - quietly situated but within easy reach of Sicilia Barocca. Upmarket and spacious rooms/suites, friendly and attentive staff, excellent pool. Special mention of Marielena who looked after us particularly well - and all of the staff who couldn't do enough for you. This should be on your horizon if you plan to stay in the Noto region.

The place is beautiful, the suite we stayed in was very big, extremely comfortable with everything one could need. The grounds are also extremely nice, with private grass areas on 2 sides of the room, a nice pool with a bar. The place is quite remote, therefore extremely quiet, which is something to know.

Quiet relaxing stay at this newly refurbished Masseria. The staff were particularly helpful - especially Giuseppe and Marielena.
Stylish rooms, lovely relaxing pool, quiet locale, no intrusions, friendly service by the pool, healthy tasty breakfasts. Lots of interesting places within an hour or do drive.
All in all a very pleasant soggiorno.

Wij vonden het een prachtig en ruim appartement. Schitterend uitzicht vanuit de tuin. Wij hadden appartement ‘laboratorio’ en die tuin heeft de hele dag zon. Het zwembad was heerlijk verkoelend en mooi schoon. Het personeel, echt iedereen, was heel lief en vriendelijk. Ook de dames van de schoonmaak, die mogen zeker niet vergeten worden want iedere dag werd het schoongemaakt. We hebben ook 1x gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt én 1x van het diner. Dat laatste was subliem! Joseppe is een geweldige chef!

Gerade bei der Küche und Esstisch hat Beleuchtung gefehlt.
Nächste Problem war im Badezimmer, in der Dusche mussten wir alle Duschgels und Schampon auf den Boden stellen müssen, weil da keine Halterung war.
Das war ärgerlich.
Die Toilette sollten sie auch reparieren.
Es ist total ruhig und hat eine schöne Lage.

Top Anlage, wahnsinnig schöne Gartenanlage und Gebäude, einzig die Innenarchitektur ist geschmacksache. Zimmer etwas spartanisch (man hätte dies schöner gestalten können, etwas modern und ohne Wärme, eher Spitalmässig/Bauhaus) , Frühstück auch nicht top, aber korrekt. Over all ein schöner Aufenthalt, guter Service, sehr schöne Anlage und Aussicht /Flora.

Schöne Anlage, aber viel Verbesserungspotential
Die Anlage und der Poolbereich sind wirklich wunderschön und die Zimmer gross und sehr geräumig. Die Mitarbeitenden am Empfang oder beim Frühstück waren sehr herzlich.
Leider war unser Geschirrspüler defekt, so dass mehrfach Handwerker in unserem Zimmer waren, ohne dass sich etwas verbessert hat. Dadurch mussten wir das Geschirr mehrfach von Hand sowie den nassen Boden reinigen. Am letzten Tag standen dann noch 3 Handwerker mit schmutzigen Schuhen und ohne Voranmeldung in unserem Zimmer. Der gesamte Boden war schmutzig und ein Teil der Küchenfeont entfernt und lag auf dem Boden, was mit unserem Kleinkind nicht gerade toll war. Es gab leider keinen Preisnachlass oder ähnliches.
Unser Zimmer war während des gesamten Aufenthalts zudem sehr feucht, wobei auch die Klimaanlage nicht helfen konnte.
Der Spielplatz wäre für Kinder wirklich toll. Jedoch scheint seit Längerem nichts mehr gemacht worden zu sein: Überall hohes Gras und Gebüsch und viele Ameisennester, wodurch das Spielen unangenehm wurde.

Nous recherchions un hôtel au calme et nous avons été très déçus car les chambres étaient très mal isolées, nous entendions tout ce qui se passait dans le logement d’à côté. Les logements sont situés autour d’une place intérieure, on avait l’impression d’être dans une cour d’école car beaucoup de familles avec des enfants en bas âge. Prachtige locatie en wonderschone omgeving. We hadden een zeer ruime studio met tuin en zicht op speeltuin en zwembad. De tuin was zeer smaakvol met oa olijfbomen, citrusvruchten, rozen en jasmijn. Er was veel ruimte, stijl en rust. En dat terwijl kids gewoon konden spelen.
Ideaal voor een gezin. En wandelen in de cavagrande (super mooie kloof met meertjes - actieve en zeer kooie wandeling) is binnen 30 mns te bereiken. Het leuke plaatsje Noto ook dichtbij. En heerlijk ontbijt.

Simply stunning accommodation, spacious and serene. Great with kids as there is a kitchen included. Staff is lovely and cleanliness is spot on. There is a playground and the pool is really big. Only downside is that we only stayed 4 nights, should have been a week really.

Very calm, great view over a valley and very friendly staff. The pool is great, the whole resort has been renovated with attention to detail. You reach Vendicari in about 25 minutes, Marzamemi in 20 minutes.

Beautiful old farm, very tastefully renovated and restored. Very large rooms, modern decorated with large bathroom. Complete kitchen installed. Our room had a small garden area overlooking the large pool area and the sea (about 15km away from the sea, car necessary). The pool was unfortunately not cleaned daily and so a little bit dirty. The breakfast was very basic compared to our other hotels during the Sicily-trip (same price category). Here is a clear need for improvement! Wifi slow. Very friendly staff. All in all we had a wonderful stay (4 nights) and will come again. Beautiful trip in the evening and very good sea food in the fishermen-village Marzamemi (Piazza Regina Margherita) at the sea side!
