Cadre similaire au descriptif, en revanche piscine sale (algue au fond), repas moyen et petit-déjeuner minimaliste. Rien à voir avec un hôtel 4 étoiles, le Spa on nous en a jamais parlé. Réceptionniste froide et pas serviable. Nous avions réservé une chambre familiale (on nous a donné une chambre simple), si nous n'avions rien dit l'hôtel n'aurait rien changé. On a quand même dû passer la nuit dans cette petite chambre. Si je n'avais rien réclamé, ils n'auraient fait aucun geste ni aucun changement.
Les seuls points positifs sont la propreté de la chambre, la chambre familiale (espace) et la gentillesse du monsieur au service du petit-déjeuner. Nous ne le recommandons pas.

The pictures of the rooms are very photoshoped. Romes are clean, but rundowned and suffer off water damage or something like it.... the stuff was OK, nothing special. The guy in the breakfast restaurant was nice. Pool is amazing, but requires cleaning.
Spa was the most strange experience - nobody was there, but one girl that was doing the massages as well as managing the place??? It was not very clean or relaxing, not very clear what was the purpose of half of the facilities...
Location of the hotel requires having a car and using it - for us it was not an issue. Although - one should take under consideration that going to dinner in Noto will include a 20 min/ drive.

In general - not sure what are they trying to make there - it is nor a resort and its not a rural/rustic vacation.... Will not recommend

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Though the photos of the panoramic rooms may look enticing do NOT be deceived for that is about all they have going of them. We could not even stay the night at this place. Upon walking into the room I was overwhelmed by a extremely strong potent floral cleaning smell, probably used on purpose to cover up the old smell of the room. The bed was old, dingy and hard as a rock. I couldn’t bear to touch the blanket on the bed as it did not look clean. The room looked very old and it is in desperate need of an upgrade. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money as I did here, had to leave and find a new hotel, terrible experience.

It was in a good location to get about easily to Noto and the beaches. Great views from the resort, especially from the balcony in our room. Great place to relax and unwind. There is a steep long walk up to some of the rooms from the main building and swimming pool, some people drive up and down. The menu at the restaurant is also a bit limited, but the food is average but the staff are great.

Great spot for a relaxing trip

My stay at Kallikoros was planned to be a restful one and kind of regret not staying longer!
At arrival my only disappointment: my “studio with a view”, that looked great online, was actually 1 mile up a steep road - that I’d have to drive back and forth to use the hotel dependencies (Club house bar, restaurant and pool), not to mention that their spa is actually “off site” - 3 min away.
No wine drinking for me!!

Everything else is amazing!
The pool is heavenly, the food over diner was yummy and the spa was the best surprise.
Including a check in discount coupon, my 4 hands, 1h long massage, including sauna, jacuzzi & steam room use cost a small fraction I’d pay for back home.
I just melted under their hands!
Highly recommended!

And if you don’t mind privacy - at the cost of driving uphill - the studios are super pretty.

Fine but watch the owners dog poo

Lovely place in good location and internals v.clean but owners roaming dogs left mess around our Chalet and made lots of noise at night. reception took 36 hrs to have the poo cleared up....not great with kids running about. Some staff very friendly / lovely but most (older folks) indifferent.

A relaxing stay

As an agro turismo property it is part of a farm. The architect that laid out the property did s nice job. The pool is awesome! The view from the room terrace is also great, very peaceful and relaxing. The chairs on the terraces could be replaced since they have reached end of life. Since the hotel is on a hill don’t assume the walk from the pool/restaurant to your room is flat. Wi-Fi worked only in public areas not room, for us great not everyone glued to their device! Restaurant is good.

We were in room 204 which required a walk uphill to a property approx. 500 meters from reception, an elderly person would struggle without transportation. It poured down and there were no umbrellas to borrow. In view of the distance from the main facilities there should have been tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. The views however were amazing. The restaurant and the staff are very accommodating kind and very helpful. The meals at lunch and dinner were superb served by really lovely staff. The dining room is beautiful. The stray animals adopted by the resort add a certain charm typical of Sicily. Wonderful rows upon rows of orange and lemon trees throughout the resort. They allowed us to check in early which was really welcome and considerate. Additionally they allowed us to leave our room an hour later than normal so we could wait out the rain before we left on our motorbike. Would definitely recommend this resort to others, but if your not prepared for a hike to your rooms make sure you ask for a room nearer the main facilities.

Fantastic hotel in the countryside

Great hotel in the countryside - but still only about a 20 min drive to Noto! Rooms are big and spacious and good air con. Pool is big and lots of sun beds and umbrellas! Breakfast is good although feels like it has run out by 9:15am (finishes at 10). Restaurant is great - not too expensive :)

Commuting by car from the room to breakfast

It was overall disappointing. The distance from Noto is almost double as much as indicated. We took a panoramic room, but on your website there was no mention of the fact that you need to take the car to go to breakfast, so we ended up brushing our teeth in the restaurant washrooms. The room itself is quite small. In a word, I think the place is overrated, it certainly has one star too many. I wouldn't recommend it.

Nice setting but terrible food

Located in a very beautofil spot, this hotel offers clean rooms and outside pool. Stay away from the canteen food, which was really bad by Italian standards. Relatively pricey given the basic accomodation.

I cannot recommend this property enough. The location is idyllic, the pool area is phenomenal and above all, all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and will try and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our two year old son had a ball playing with the dogs and cats on the property. The breakfast is nice and varied and dinner at the hotel was also nice.

an OK hotel but could do with a few improvements!

This hotel has a few things going for it including the beautiful pool, the spacious rooms, and the picturesque setting. The reception staff were also friendly and helpful (as was the hotel dog Cora!) However, it is SERIOUSLY let down by the restaurant. It is some of the worst food I have eaten anywhere, let alone Italy. A plate of \"grilled vegetables\" was a pile of cold boiled brocolli. \"Grilled meat\" was raw pork. The pasta tasted like something made at home out of left-overs. The breakfast is disappointing. Given that you have to drive for 20 minutes to the nearest restaurant, this is a major inconvience and really came close to ruining our stay.

Other minor problems are:
-rooms are tired (if spacious), old linen and towels, old tiny tv
-you need to phone reception if you want air con in your room. They will turn it on at some point (maybe not when you want it)
-no pool service, you have to walk to reception if you want a drink
-the spa only opened 1 day we were there, and has to be booked far in advance
-did I mention the TERRIBLE food?!

SO overall, although this hotel is ok, I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe fine for a 1 night stop over but not for a few relaxing days.

Best Hotel and SERVICE

I cannot recommend Kallikoros Country Resort & Spa highly enough! This beautiful resort is in an ideal home base for visiting Southern Sicily. The old cities of the Val di Noto and the ancient history of southern Sicily can be easily explored from this idyllic hotel. The location and hotel grounds alone would make this place a must stay; but, without a doubt, the service provided by the staff of Kallikoros raise it above all else. We stayed in eight hotels while in Sicily, and this was by far our favorite. The staff was tremendous, assisting us above and beyond anything we could have possibly imagined. We encountered trouble with our rental car, and Francesca at the front desk arranged with the rental company for the car to be taken and repaired. The next morning, the owner drove us to the repair shop where we picked up our car. It would have been impossible without them. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Sicily.

A quiet relaxing high quality hotel.

If you're looking for a relaxing holiday. Then this the place for you. You certainly need a car as it's out of the way .But if your visiting sicily to see all the attractions you will need a car anyway. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We loved our stay! Staff amazing, food simple but delicious, calm atmosphere. You would definitely need a car and it is mot the closest to main towns or beaches but perfect if like us you are looking for a relaxing week with some trips out. Would absolutely recommend!

A hidden gem in the stunning Sicilian countryside

This was my second stay and it was even better than my first. We chose a panoramic room, which had an unbelievable view over the beautiful countryside, and was also very peaceful even though I think that all of the rooms were actually full when we stayed. The setting of the hotel in buildings dotted about the site gives it a feeling of being a small village and also provides opportunity for walking about between the facilities rather than being cooped up in one big hotel building. The food in the restaurant is tasty simple local food, cooked very well. I haven't actually been to the spa yet, so its a great excuse for another stay!

Well placed for sight seeing

We spent a long weekend in a wonderfully scented hotel perched on a hillside overlooking orange trees in full bloom
There seemed to be a lack of soul in that there were no comfortable bar or lounge areas to sit and idle through a book or linger over a glass of wine
That said it was a good choice for sight seeing and provided an excellent well priced evening meal upon or return each evening

It was much better than we had expected. We had great service, we loved our rooms, the pool and the surroundings are fantastic. Noto was not too far so we went to see the fantastic town one evening and had dinner there too. However, I would much rather stay at this hotel surrounded by contryside than in Busy Noto.

High quality stay in Noto area.

We stayed fro one week with 2 kids. It was a fantastic stay. The hotel is in middle of Olive and Lemon(Lime?) field about 25 min driving from Noto. It is very remote place, but that is the reason why it is so quiet which we all enjoyed. Hotel room was clean and very high quality. It has a kitchen which made our stay very easy. The breakfast was the only boring part which does not change at all during our stay and with very limited choice. During one week stay, we ate dinner twice at the restaurant in the hotel. Luigi who is a director and a chef of the restaurantis is a fun guy. Quality of the foods were outstanding! We had fantastic evenings with them. One concern was that we were not told how much we have spent in each evening. Although we learnt that it was reasonably priced upon checking out, we would have felt better if we knew when we ate. Pool was very clean and big for the number of the guests in the hotel. Kids enjoyed so much. All in all, our experience with Kallikoros was outstanding. I can highly recommend to anyone!!

Definitely a Five Star Experience

Beautifully peaceful surroundings. Tranquil outdoor lounge areas. Immaculate room. Terrific shower. The most comfortable bed! Wonderfully helpful reception staff that went beyond what I would have expected to ensure we had what we needed and even did internet searches complete with printouts. There is no surrounding neighborhood which I thought was perfect and ensures the peaceful surroundings. Thus everything is a drive away but you can be in Noto in about 25 minutes. My visit was prior to their full opening so I did not have the expected pleasure of experiencing their spa services. The pool was relaxing to take in even without a swim.

Struttura carina ma poco curata, accogliemza pessima, personale impreparato con ritardi di quasi due ore per l'assegnazione della camera; personale incompetente e poco professionale, pulizia al limite della sufficienza, colazione molto scarsa con poca varietà di cibo e anche in questo caso il personale non riusciva a gestire la pulizia dei tavoli venendo a mancare piatti, tazze, ecc; bevande calde non servite al tavolo, ridicolo per una struttura a 4 stelle, caffè espresso servito nel bicchiere di plastica. Esperienza complessiva mediocre con una sufficienza risicata. Non ci tornerò.

Troppa disorganizzazione e approssimazione

Attesa di 30 minuti per il check-in. Comunicato cambio di stanza per un guasto all’impianto idrico, per cui dal corpo centrale a due passi dalla piscina e dagli altri servizi come il ristorante, sono stato spostato in un edificio a 500 metri, posto in cima ad un’altura, poco percorribile a piedi per eccesso di pendenza, costringendomi a muovermi in auto, ogni qualvolta avessi necessità di raggiungere i servizi centrali della struttura. Mi era stato detto che, essendomi stata assegnata una camera più economica rispetto a quella da me prenotata (proprio perché decentrata rispetto ai servizi principali) mi sarebbe stato elargito un rimborso (non quantificato), cosa che non è poi stato possibile effettuare, in quanto il pagamento era già stato effettuato al momento della prenotazione. Nel pomeriggio prima della mia partenza, mi è stato offerto, in cambio del rimborso, un pranzo per 2 persone nel giorno in cui avrei dovuto lasciare la struttura (check out alle 11:00), o una cena per 2 per la sera stessa, ma non mi è stato possibile accettare per impegni pregressi e comunque non ero entusiasta della qualità della colazione che mi era stata servita dal ristorante. In ultima istanza, su mia proposta, abbiamo concordato per avere un aperitivo per 4 persone. Le chiavi della stanza sostituiva mi sono state fornite dopo 2 ore di attesa (il check-in era alle 15:00, le chiavi mi sono state date alle 17:00). La colazione era qualitativamente mediocre, non all’altezza di un hotel a 4 stelle.

In teoria sarebbe un buon posto, ma necessita di molte manutenzioni. Bagni da rifare, è tutto rotto/inutilizzabile (dall’asse del wc, al cestino, ai rubinetti scrostati), serratura della porta rotta, cassaforte inservibile. Diciamo che se l’avessero mantenuto, non sarebbe stato male.
Sicuramente il peggior albergo a Noto dove sia mai stato.

Ideal für die Auszeit

Das Hotel liegt etwa 15 Autominuten außerhalb von Noto. Wer Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Aber ohne Auto ist es nicht möglich zum Hotel zu kommen.
Der Service ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber mit italienischen Charme. Und persönlich waren die Betten etwas zu weich (aber das ist Geschmacksache)

Die Poolanlage ist sehr schön. Das Frühstück international. Es gibt alles was man braucht.

Zum Wellnessbereich können wir nichts sagen, da wir ihn nicht genutzt haben. Genauso wie zum Abendessen im Hotel. Unsere Empfehlung fahrt zum Essen nach Rosolini, nicht nach Noto. Dort gibt es tolle günstige Restaurants.

Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall an Paare weiter empfehlen, mit Kindern eher nicht.

Prijs kwaliteit niet in verhouding. Lamp stuk op kamer, dir gemeld maar werd niets mee gedaan. Schimmel in de douche. Geen drankje te krijgen bij zwembad. Bedjes bij zwembad vies en geen kussens dus niet comfortabel even aan zwembad liggen. Van kamer naar bar/restaurant moest met de auto vanwege de afstand en hoogte verschil. Had graag een kopje koffie op balkon gedronken maar geen mogelijkheid op kamer. Ontbijt was top! Diner in restaurant was matig.

Se trata de un complejo con varios edificios ubicado en en un extenso terreno desde dónde se contempla un paisaje tipico siciliano.
Las habitaciones están decoradas de forma clásica y rústica y las camas son muy cómodas.
El desayuno es muy bueno, con dulces extraordinarios como los Canolos, solo faltaría zumo natural y algo más de fruta.
La piscina es suficientemente amplia y está ubicada en una zona preciosa

Établissement situé en pleine nature, très isolé. Nécessité d'une voiture pour se déplacer. Les chambres sont réparties sur un domaine très en pente, et la voiture est également la bienvenue pour se déplacer de la chambre au restaurant ou à la piscine, ce qui est dommage. Les chambres sont assez simples dans leur décoration. Belles salles-de-bain. L'espace piscine est beau et très agréable, de même que l'espace SPA. Le personnel est gentil, le petit déjeuner très complet.

Prenotazione fatta mesi prima per 4 notti, il mattino seguente siamo andati via.
Struttura isolata , con spa lontana dal corpo centrale ( spostamento in auto) bagno turco rotto , piscina grande dal colore torbido e scuro, chiusa quando l' abbiamo fatto notare .
Cani e gatti vivono davanti alle stanze abbaiando per buona parte della notte.
Punti a favore colazione molto buona, personale molto gentile, ringrazio la responsabile che compresa la situazione ci ha fatto pagare la notte usufruita

Personale attento e disponibile, bella la piscina. scomoda la lontananza delle camere Cozzo alla reception, piscina e ristorante (dove c’è anche la colazione) e raggiungibile tramite una ripida salita solo in macchina (a piedi non è fattibile)

Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und engagiert. Wir wollten an einem Tag den Spa-Bereich nutzen, leider war dieser aber geschlossen, da wir die einzigen Gäste an diesem Tage waren. Auf Nachfrage wurde extra für uns der Spa-Bereich geöffnet. Die Hunde und Katzen sind super lieb und freuen sich immer, wenn Gäste kommen. Vielleicht mögen das nicht alle Gäste, aber die Tiere sind nicht aufdringlich und springen ein auch nicht an oder dergleichen. Der Pool war saisonal leider geschlossen. Bei 19 Grad Außentemperatur aber verständlich. Die Zimmer waren Sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse auch super und hat uns für die 4 Tage immer satt gemacht.

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehe ruhig gelegen ind wunderschöner Landschaft aber ohne Auto fast unmöglich!
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Lage und Ausstattung waren wirklich super

Für ein paar Tage erholsam, ruhig und zentral

Die Anlage ist ansich sehr schön gelegen. Ruhig und für Erholungssuchende genau richtig. Die Zimmer haben eine zweckmäßige Ausstattung. Die Bäder sind sehr gut. Die Gebäude sind etwas sehr hellhörig, so dass man den Nachbarn duschen hört. Z.t. liegen die Häuser sehr weit oben am Berg. Das Frühstück erreicht man dann nur mit dem Auto. Dies stört jedoch kaum. Parkplätze könnten bei voller belegung Mangelware werden. Frühstück ist vollkommen ausreichend jedoch nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr grün angelegt und verdient u.E. nach aber nur drei Sterne. Den Spa Bereich haben wir nicht genutzt. Der Pool liegt sehr schön und macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Einschränkungen gab es bei den Zimmern in der Vielzahl kleinerer Mängel: kaputte Lampen, Lichtschalter, verstopfte Abflüsse im Bad, Kaffee kochen im Gebäude war leider nicht möglich, da Wasser nicht aufgefüllt wurde, leider gab es überall nur Plastikbecher auf dem Zimmer.

Ho trascorso insieme alla mia famiglia un bel fine settimana in questo Resort.
Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare negli appartamenti con veranda vicino la reception. Da qui si poteva godere di una favolosa vista sopra i giardini di limoni e sopra gli uliveti. Camere pulite e ben arredate.
Siamo stati accolti con professionalità e tanta gentilezza dal signor Roberto della reception, una persona squisita. Molto bella la piscina.
Ottima colazione, ristorante elegante e confortevole, ottimi i primi piatti. Devo fare i complimenti allo schef e complimenti alla professionalità dei camerieri.
È un Resort dove potersi rilassare lontano dallo stress cittadino.
Un consiglio che darei sarebbe quello di installare delle zanzariere nelle porte esterne delle camere, per preservare i clienti dagli insetti, presenti per il tanto verde intorno.

Hotel en medio de campos de olivos, almendros y limoneros... A 10 minutos en coche de la ciudad barroca de Noto

Bell'hotel immerso nella campagna siciliana

Bellissimo hotel ricavato da una vecchia masseria nella campagna di Noto (circa 20 minuti di macchina dalla citta). Elegante e con personale gentile e disponibile. È dotato di una bellissima piscina con vista mozzafiato sul paesaggio circostante. Ci siamo trovati benissimo È lo consigliamo per una vacanza rilassante

belle camere, silenziosissime, ottimo il parcheggio vicino alla camera.
non entusiasmante il personale alla reception, ne in sala colazione: siamo in due in sala, una addetta che gioca con il cellulare e non chiede cosa desideriamo bere, non sparecchia i piatti sporchi. per un 4 stelle credo sia inadeguato. non ci sono piatti del territorio

Deludente in generale.
Spa a pagamento a parte per un'ora e mezza di tempo, letto matrimoniale con due materassi di diversa durezza, il cibo... colazione poca qualità, sembravano prodotti del discount. Il ristorante ha un menù fotocopiato e bisogna scegliere in anticipo cosa prendere (3 primi e 3 secondi) serviti come se arrivassero dalla vaschetta di una mensa.
3 giorni e mezzo per aggiustare il Wi-Fi, poi bastava che qualcuno andasse a controllare la parabola avevano staccato la spina.

Posto a dir poco incantevole, il paesaggio e la vegetazione (frutteti, uliveti e vigne) sono mozzafiato. Naturalmente per godere di tale vista il resort è ubicato molto fuori dal centro abitato di Noto e la strada per arrivarci è in salita e tutta curve, niente di estremo naturalmente. Noi eravamo accomodati nel punto più alto del resort, in cima alla collina e per far colazione prendevamo la macchina, ripeto però che senza questo dislivello il panorama non sarebbe lo stesso. Molto cordiali, ottima colazione davvero e camere pulitissime e ben arredate, molto bello il bagno e la terrazza con vista. Unica nota negativa, abbiamo avuto qualche problemino a prenotare i massaggi nella spa, uno dei tre giorni in cui abbiamo alloggiato era chiusa e la sera del nostro arrivo non era presente la responsabile del centro, abbiamo prenotato quindi per due gg dopo, cosa che in effetti per un resort-spa non è abituale e nemmeno troppo corretta, meglio forse comunicarlo prima dell'arrivo in modo da scegliere quando poter effettuare il percorso benessere o godere dei massaggi (ottimi per altro). La spa è molto ben dotata con piscina interna ed esterna, davvero un gran bel posto, se ci sarà occasione torneremo.

La struttura si trova immersa nel verde ed e' necessario avere l'auto per potersi spostare. La piscina e' splendida.
Le camera accoglienti e penso stiano lavorando per renderle migliori (nella mia l'aria condizionata era centralizzata, ma bastava citofonare affinche' la regolassero a mio piacimento).
La colazione ottima ed abbondante.

Esperienza positiva da migliorare

Bellissima posizione in mezzo alla campagna. Costruzioni in armonia con il paesaggio. Stanze confortevoli ma con le formiche. Un po' carente il ricevimento . Per la cena abbiamo dovuto aspettare il turno. Per la piscina i teli da bagno a pagamento non sono da hotel a 4 stelle.

het hotel ligt midden in de heuvels en wijnvelden. Mooie rustige plek. Alleen moet je wel goed ter been zijn, het is veel klimmen of met de auto rijden op het terrein van het hotel om van je hotelkamer naar het zwembad/ restaurant/ receptie te gaan.

Soggiornare in questo bel resort situato a circa 11 km da Noto vuol dire essere in una stuttura confortevole, immersa in una campagna splendida con una vista spettacolare sulla costa sudorientale della Sicilia e con personale sempre molto gentile e disponibile; in particolare il metre si è premurato di presentarmi il proprietario con il quale ho avuto un piacevole colloquio e con il quale mi sono complimentato per la qualità e lo stile della ristrutturazione di un antico borgo agricolo.Spero di poterci tornare.Un saluto anche a Francesca
