This hotel was in the best location in old historic Noto! It was sooo great that in the evening, we stepped right out into an awesome parade walking through the historic centre!

The staff were extremely nice and pleasant on arrival. They also helped us secure car parking before we even arrived. The room was such a beautiful boutique room, super clean and spacious. The bathroom was on the smaller side but that was ok.

The breakfast was included and was a great spread as well. Overall, highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has the best location to visit Noto, no doubt, but the car access is really difficult as the city streets are barely wide enough for your car. We got lucky to find a parking spot right by the hotel entrance but this could be an annoying challenge. The hotel itself is super clean, nice and modern, well appointed. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but not exceptional. Overall, this is definitely the place to stay at when visiting Noto. Just make sure you rent the smallest possible car for your trip through Sicily !

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful. We were lucky enough to stay in a garden level room, with an outdoor patio area. The breakfasts were some of the best I’ve had when staying at a hotel.
The staff were the real stand outs. The front desk attendants were so helpful with suggestions of restaurants and also set us up for a day at a beach club.
I’d highly recommended Gagliardi Boutique Hotel to anyone staging in the area!

Charming Hotel in Old Town Noto

My sister and I stayed at the Hotel Gagliardi for two nights and were upgraded upon arrival which was a fun surprise! One of the perks of traveling in December! Hotel is older but very clean and charming, with multiple places to hang out (patio, sun room, roof top). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Maria at the front desk is a gem - great restaurant suggestions, very friendly and helpful! She really helped make our stay a great one!

What a beautiful hotel. The rooftop terrace is a must for sunset. The staff were helpful and communicated via what’s app. Breakfast was bountiful and set in the courtyard. All the decor was gorgeous.
Navigating by car through the narrow streets is a challenge. Noto is a beautiful walking town.

Pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous space... unexpected private terrace in the center of the floor we stayed at, antiques and art, beautifully appointed rooms with comfortable beds and spacious showers. Diana was endlessly patient and helpful.

For us, the best feature of the hotel is the rooftop terrace where a sunset aperitivo is a must to watch the surrounding buildings glow as the sun dips. (I loved the elderflower spritz called a Hugo.)

Accessibility-wise, we were met by a valet who carried in our bags. There is a standard-sized elevator on the ground floor. Self-parking was a white-knuckle affair for us, but we were rewarded with an excellent lunch & beer at a cafe directly next to the parking lot. Noto is so lovely and we had our best dining experiences here.

Beautiful room, but hotel quite cold

This small hotel is located in a converted family palazzo and the room we had was beautiful and the layout quite interesting (our room had 3 floors with small staircases dividing each level). The front desk staff, however, was not up to par for a 4-star hotel and the ambience in the lobby was quite cold and sterile. The first concierge who checked us in was excellent (although I didn't catch his name) and he offered to help with dinner reservations, etc. and anything else we might need during our stay. The other 2 concierges we encountered during our stay (a female and male) were not helpful at all, and simply kept recommending the restaurant next door (Retabló) to every guest rather than offering more suggestions. (Retabló was excellent, but there are a lot of other good choices in Noto). When we asked for wine glasses for our room, the female concierge said we should go up to the rooftop bar to get them ourselves. When I questioned this slightly, she quickly changed course and had them delivered to our room. Also at checkout she wanted us to fill out a survey about our stay at the desk right in front of her, which we declined. Very odd. The rooftop terrace is lovely with beautiful views but it felt stiff and somewhat cold as well and drinks were quite expensive. Overall the hotel needs more ambience and warm energy for the price--especially in the lobby. We would look elsewhere for a better value in Noto if we visit again.

We loved the tasteful decor and sophistication of the building. The breakfast terrace was beautiful with lovely fresh produce. The roof terrace bar was spectacular ,with fantastic views.
The only down side was the hardness of the mattress on our bed, it was far too firm !

Exceptional place in heart of Noto

Beautiful smallish hotel. Wonderful roof lounge and bar. Attentive service. Had a difficult time reaching by car, in the end was easier to park in public lot five blocks away and walk bags to hotel. Was instructed by hotel to drive to drop off bags and then park (but that required driving on pedestrian only street - which was not communicated to us.)

Amazing hotel

Amazing hotel, we had a lovely time staying here for a few nights. The location is amazing, walking distance to everything.

The hotel itself was gorgeous - really great views from the rooftop, especially for drinks/sunset. There was beautiful art everywhere in the hotel, and the rooms were very clean and nice. The breakfast was delicious with lots of local meats, cheeses, produce and pastries to choose from.

The staff were super kind and attentive. They made sure we had a great time staying at their hotel.

Definitely a lovely boutique hotel experience. We would not only stay here again, but recommend it to anyone visiting Noto.

Beautiful property in Noto, very close to all of the main attractions. The front desk staff were very attentive upon our arrival. The facilities themselves are very beautiful. Each corner of the building is beautifully designed and decorated. The room was comfortable and stylish - great bathrooms, comfortable bed, very efficient air conditioning. The rooftop is so beautiful at night. It is closed during the day but this is fine, as it would be too hot. The breakfast is generous, delicious, and beautifully presented. This hotel is perfect. 5-stars!

Lovely boutique hotel in the center of Noto

Very comfortable hotel in the center of Noto. Ideal location, not easily accessible via taxi (we had to walk up a road with our suitcases, which is fine if you're not pregnant and it's not 35 degrees in the sun). Breakfast is amazing and the staff was very helpful. Taxis are very expensive in Noto so choose your location carefully. The hotel would get a 10/10 if it had a pool on the rooftop and allowed access to its roof terrace during the day... it only opens at 6pm which means you can't relax outside at all during the day.

Great boutique hotel in good location

We had a great stay here in a good boutique hotel. Staff were really helpful with restaurant recommendations and other tips. We were worried that parking might be an issue but we were able to park nearly outside the hotel without any issue. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop bar with great views over the city at sunset.

This hotel was a treat from start to finish. It is located a block from the main square and we were lucky enough to get a parking space right outside. The staff was terrific and helped us with dinner reservations and daytime excursions. Our room was lovely, high ceilings with a great bath. Best of all was the roof top garden with its night view of the lighted Baroque facades. Awesome.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent staff in a very good location. Breakfast was also excellent with a very broad selection of food choices and a lovely courtyard table option..
A couple of drawbacks: Parking was quite some distance away and EUR 15 per night, although one could unload and re-load at their reserved space in front of the main door.
No tea or coffee making facilities provided in the rooms, one of the first hotels we had encountered without this option..
A leaking shower door which flooded the floor despite closing it firmly.
Having said this I must add that the bed was wonderfully comfortable and because we were treated so well we would happily stay there again and simply ask for more floor towels. It was my understanding that they were addressing the tea making issue so let's hope that's been done before we make it back.

Magical hotel

The hotel is just gorgeous and is located in the heart of magical Noto. We arrived whilst the annual flower festival was on and so were confronted by road closures etc and it was certainly a challenge to reach the hotel. However the reception staff were so welcoming once we finally made it. We had a delux double room which was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The only complaint and it’s a very important one for us is that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in our room. I did ask for a kettle but was told I could not have one but I could order a cup of tea at any time for 5 euros. The hotel is not an inexpensive one and the inclusion of the luxury of making a cup of tea early in the morning whilst still luxuriating in bed is an absolute necessity for a great holiday in my opinion.
The breakfasts were wonderful and again the staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfast courtyard is just a delightful place to eat and spend time.
The roof terrace is just nothing short of magical at sunset. It overlooks the baroque buildings that turn a beautiful shade of rose when the setting sun hits them. No better place to have a drink and admire where you are.
Another suggestion I would add is if the hotel could connect to at least one English speaking news channel that would be great - just an added touch that would make the hotel even more perfect.
Noto is gorgeous - include it in your tour of Sicily - you will not be disappointed.

Tremendous hotel

A superb experience. The Gagliardi is a former palazzo recently restored, and now probably the best hotel in Noto. We had a beautiful, modern room with absolutely ever convince, including a spectacular bathroom. Staff were marvellously friendly, courteous and eager to please. Breakfast in the rear courtyard was great. Recommended in the highest possible terms. A truly lovely hotel.

Handsome hotel close to town centre

We spent a very enjoyable three nights at the Gagliardi. Noto is a beautiful town and the hotel is very well positioned.Breakfast is taken in the garden and was beautifully presented. Our room was gorgeous (although no view to speak of). The staff were very helpful, including the Scottish born receptionist. Downside is negotiating the narrow one way street system. It took us an hour to reach the hotel and in the end I walked to the hotel and asked one of the staff to come out to our car and guide us in. There is no hotel parking and we were directed to a very expensive (15 euros a day) site about a five minute walk (15 minute drive !!!)from the hotel
