This hotel was EXCELLENT. Location is key as well - immediately inside the city arch where the historic city center starts. The room was clean, the staff was awesome and the breakfast was delicious. Watched sunset from rooftop. What an excellent hotel and experience in Noto!

Fantastic hotel

We had a beautiful very clean apartment with a lovely kitchen with washing machine and private terrace. The staff were all amazing and helped us a lot. We received a free welcome drink on the roof terrace and the staff also recommended a lovely restaurant. I would recommend this lovely hotel and would like to return.

This small hotel is on the main street, easily walkable anywhere in Noto and with quick access to parking or the bus terminal.

The staff are wonderful, absolutely wonderful. They go the extra mile, answer any questions you might have and can arrange anything you want to do in and around Noto. The ability to get towels and umbrella for a beach day is amazing.

The rooms are not the easiest to reach with heavy suitcases as they involve stairs, but are spacious, bright with an attractive and modern decor. There was more than enough space for two suitcases without having to jump over them. Comfortable and big beds, very nice bathroom with rainfall shower and effective air con. The included breakfast is also very tasty with eggs, cold cuts, salad, fruits, yoghurts and pastries; with delicious coffee made to order by the staff.

We had a lovely two night stay here. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. We planned to take a train to Ragusa and they took us to the train. Unfortunately the train wasn’t running(beware trains in Silicy!). Salvo came back and got us and then they got us a car service with fifteen minutes. Incredible! Yeah to Salvo and the entire staff.

Spooky driving through the Porta Reale arch since the signs forbid driving into the ZTL, but with the valet service, it was easy. The room we had was very nice and modern. We are a family of four adults and we were comfortable. Breakfast was nice and Noto was beautiful.

We had a suite room 10. The room was a Ritz Carlton caliber suite. The bath room had a separate large tub and shower. The room and bathroom was immaculately clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. Recommend valet parking for 25 Euros. We would definitely stay here again! Love Noto!

Excellent welcome from the front of house staff on both arrival and departure. The gentleman who served us on the rooftop bar was very friendly and gave us an excellent dinner reservation suggestion. The lady at breakfast was also most helpful and lovely to chat with. Excellent hotel, great location. Only tiny thing was the seal on the shower door was broken and shower leaks on floor in room 2.

We had a spacious apartment behind the hotel that was brand new and quiet. The hotel breakfast was excellent. There was a nice welcome drink on the rooftop terrace that was complimentary. Go at sunset for a cooler temperature and nice views. They provided valet parking for me for 20 euros that was very convenient. Would definitely stay again!

This is an absolutely lovely little gem right in the centre of Noto. Nice building, well modernised but still with bags of character. After location, the best thing about the Porto Reale are the staff who are absolutely lovely, so friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

Breakfast was really good and the rooftop bar is nice. We actually stayed in the apartment around the corner (dependence). The apartment is really well decorated and quite stylish, with some nice decorator touches, air conditioning and a nice big bed, and a full kitchen with an oven and a hob. The only suggestion we might make is that the kitchen could be kitted out a bit more for example some wine glasses and some basics like salt, pepper, oil. Although most people - us included - would be eating out in the plethora of great restaurants literally on your doorstep.

If arriving by car, do definitely read the arrival instructions properly (you literally drive through the arch and then restaurant is just 50m further, pull up in front and then they valet park) -don’t follow Google maps as we did as it took us on a ridiculous windy nearly impassable route in town!

Parking and driving around the area is a bit challenging but that is pretty standard in most town centres in the area. These challenges are more than made up for by how charming the area is. Definitely recommend.

Excellent location to tour Noto.
It's on a pedestrian street but you can drive there (one block past the gate) and unload. They do valet parking for 20 euro a day (but parking is quite far) or you can park just outside the gate, meter rates max out at 8.
Staff very nice, helpful and responsive. Excellent bartender on the quiet roofdeck from which you can see the skyline. Some of their apartments are outside of the hotel, around the block and suitable for long stays, but if you want to be \"inside\" the hotel then stick to one of the regular rooms.

Couldnt have found a better spot if I treid again!

The hotel was a fantastic find and if we go back to the city this is the only place that I would ever consider staying at. When driving the narrow streets of Noto, i was able to call the office and they directed us where to park, how to find the hotel and met us at the door. The room (it would be more right to call it an apartment) was MASSIVE and in fantastic condition and the view was amazing. Staying in a lot of hotels, this had the best water pressure with a rainbar shower which is fantastic after a day of walking. The hotel has access to the main streets to explore around the area and the main plaza was only a 5min walk with lots of places to eat. Its like 20 steps to the arch of the city and near all of the churches. I couldnt recommend this place enough!

Loved this hotel!

Such a nice hotel right in the center of town! The service was excellent and they even upgraded my room as there was a nicer room available that had a little terrace overlooking the center street. I really appreciated the service at this hotel and the hotel is very nice. Highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel close to the old town

Hotel location is great, located just at the start of the beautiful old town. There is free parking nearby which is icing on the top. Staff are very helpful and there is nothing you can fault with the luxurious room and the gourmet breakfast.

Call them about parking. They are happy to help and have someone drive your car from the hotel. Getting through Noto in a car is an adventure. The hotel is on a pedestrian street - though you can drive up to it with a permit.

Hotel is convenient to the temples, centro storico and beach. Lovely grounds and included breakfast. Attentive staff. Very clean but bed sheets are rough and mattress is very firm. Tower room was pretty but no elevator and air conditioning was not sufficient to cool the room on the top floor because of the age of the device and volume created by the high ceiling. Opening the windows is not an option because of bright security lighting and noise from vehicular traffic. Recommend that you only stay there in cooler months.
