One night stay was excellent. Front desk was very helpful. Local bakery was incredibly delicious! Close proximity to metro and Gare Saint Lazare. Room and bathroom was very clean. Comfortable bed and the room had a refrigerator, and hot water for tea and coffee. Would stay again.

Stayed for 1 night on my own. The main thing for this class of hotel is cleanliness, and the Queen Mary was perfectly clean and all in very good condition. It's not a 5* luxury venue where you will enjoy hanging out in the room but you're not paying for that. a good little hotel for a short stay.

The hotel was fine - rooms are small but cozy. Staff is excellent. Location is amazing (close to the RoissyBus which is the best way to get into Paris, and the Gallery Lafayette And Printemps stores, lots of shopping, good metro connections). Two down sides: only one small elevator that you have to wait for at times, and the mattress cover is plastic (I assume to get rid of bed bugs) so it gets REALLY hot at night. Did not sleep well.

It was in a great area for shopping but a little farther than we usually stay. The hotel was very clean and nice, and the area felt very safe. Because I was in a single room, there was no choice of a room
facing the street which I love. My window opened to an inner courtyard. I would have liked the choice of deciding to have a view or no view. All in all, I loved the hotel and staff.

This is lovely older hotel in a neighborhood with lots of shopping, bars and restaurants close by. My room was on the smaller side, but clean and comfortable. It opened onto an interior courtyard, so no street noise. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel in November, 2022. I was really surprised that even though the hotel is 3 star, it was very clean. The room was also very clean. The location was superb. The hotel is located close to the metro stations, bus stops, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Theaters are next by. Even though the hotel is close to all of the amenities, the street is not noisy. Perhaps in summer if you have to keep the windows open, you might hear people dining outside of the restaurant that is across the street, but that’s it. I’m very pleased with the choice of the hotel.

Great location, and great staff. I found the night staff particularly willing to be helpful. Not always a common occurrence in Paris. The air conditioning in the unit was not working, but as it was not summertime so windows were enough to remove the stale air. Bathrooms were of surprising quality for the price.

Great hotel in heart of Paris

Conveniently located in the heart of the Paris shopping belt. 5 minutes walk to Lafayette and 10-15 minutes walk to the boutiques located along saint honore. There are 3 metro stations nearby the hotel that allows easy travel around the city. Of the the nearest station, Auber, takes you directly to La Vallee outlet and disneyland.

The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. And importably the hotel has a lift. I think it’s good value for the price.

This hotel is charming in every way, and I recommend it without restriction. Truly a wonderful property with so much to offer! It is clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated within a great neighborhood. The rooms are larger than the average Parisian hotel room, and the AC made the space comfortable during a series of 100 degree summer days. Breakfast was affordable with a wide variety of items, the staff were kind and so helpful, the beds are comfortable, and there is even a mini fridge in the room. I will be staying here again!

Fantastic stay

Books a three day stay here while stopping in Paris. Simply put, one of the nicest capital city hotels I have ever stayed in. Yes, the room was small, but that would literally be true everywhere else. I was in the \"new\" building on the fifth floor and if you can get past an American bias for linear architecture and big boxes, it was extraordinary. The renovation was very well done, the space use was efficient and the amenities well above average. Location wise the hotel is great, upper close to many interesting sites and a east Metro/taxi/Uber from anything else. Local food options are typical French tourist, the dive bar Cricketeer close by was fun. Overall great home base for a trip to Paris. Highly recommend.

Hotel is ok, air conditioning was not properly working in the room so it was quite warm and had to open window for air.
Room is bit small for two people, not much space.
Location is convenient for tourists but quiet area at night.
Wifi working very well.
At night they close the front door, I was locked out for 15min as the person at reception said it was dealing with an emergency and left door locked so couldn’t access the hotel late night.

The electricity didn’t work on my second day and nothing was done. Told them in the morning and when I returned in the evening still nothing. After waiting for someone to come and no one did, asked to change rooms, which they did. The prior two nights the lights over my bed flicked on and off all night.

Good 3 Star Hotel in Cental Paris

This is a good three star hotel around the corner from the Place Madeleine. The walls are a tad thin - I could hear my neighbours but the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The location is great if you want to shop at the big department stores or have easy access to the Place de la Concorde etc.

Great stay overall!

Great service, I arrived late and there was no long registration, just the key and instructions on how to reach my bed.

There was a small problem with the shower, and everything got resolved quickly and nicely.

The room was nice, clean, and well cut: it's a really small format, but everything is usable and comfortable (and despite my height it didn't feel crammed at all like such rooms often can).

The breakfast was really good too.

Main problem of this hotel: the soundproofing between rooms is close to inexistent :(

Problem w/your room? Tell the front desk at once.

I walk into my room and noticed that it was not \"fully cleaned\", meaning the bed was not made and looked as if someone had slept in it. I also noticed a 2/3 empty bottle of water and that the bathroom had no soap nor shampoo.

There was not much else to say about the room as it was a very very small room.

I was extremely tired from my travels and need to go out and get something to eat, so I did not say anything to the front desk until after I came back. I was then apologized too and given some soap and shampoo, but no water to replace the \"used water bottle\" (that I dumped out in the sink). I went upstairs, took a shower and slept on top of the bed (after pulling the sheets up).

In the morning I got ready and left for the day. When I came back later on that evening, I noticed that my room had been cleaned, bed made and more soap was left in the bathroom.

I was not contacted by the front desk at any time while I was in the room and heard nothing until I checked out. Upon checking out, I was told that someone had called my room numerous times, but I was out so what could I do. It would have been nice if I got some sort of discount on my stay or a note in my room asking me to come downstairs, but all I got was offered breakfast, but I had to goto the airport.

Would I stay there again? I'd give them another chance, but let them know immediately if there is a problem.

Lovely cute hotel within walking distance of everything (Louvre, Place de concorde, Opera district). The room was small-ish but you really shouldn't be spending too much time in a hotel if you're in Paris! The staff was very helpful and ordered a cab to take me to the airport the next day. The breakfast was standard - helpful to have food right away to hit the ground running.

The hotel was great. Loved the convenience to Gare St. Lazare, Opera Garnier, Madeline, and metro stops. The room was clean and the hotel was well cared for. One day the maid somehow skipped cleaning our room which was unfortunate. When informed, the desk clerk set about getting clean towels,etc. which she delivered to our room along with a gift for our inconvenience. The only real problem we had was that we had too much luggage for such a small room. We had been on a two week transatlantic cruise and several days of touring Normandy before our Paris arrival. We had two large and two small suitcases and we could not walk around the bed because our suitcases took up all of the room. Having said that, I would still recommend the hotel for all of the other reasons. I think all rooms in Paris are small but this one was really cramped.

Decent hotel in central location but...

The hotel was nice enough for the price. There was no parking--not even a loading zone in front--which made it really difficult to check in and unload. The room was much smaller than we anticipated--pictures made it seem roomier. It was all right for a quick weekend trip with my daughter but not exactly comfortable. The internet did not work in the rooms. To get online we had to sit in the lobby. Not exactly ideal.

I loved this hotel. It is pretty and charming, the staff helpful, kind and knowledgeable. It is quiet and impeccably clean with many nice extra touches. It should be rated higher than a three star. The only thing I did not appreciate was the breakfast. The brasserie across the street offered a nicer one for half the price. Our last morning was a Saturday, the brasserie was closed, and I was suffering from sciatica which did not allow me to wander around in search of breakfast, so we decided to have breakfast at the hotel—very disappointing. Coffee not hot, not fresh.

We spend 8 days at the Hotel Queen Mary and it was as good as an experience as we could have asked for. We were upgraded to a larger room that had a balcony when we arrived which was great. The room was a really good size (I went in with expectations of it being much smaller based on past European hotels) and we had a fridge and plenty of room to store things. The bathroom was solid (it has the issue with a small shower door that lets water get all over the floor, but that is very common in Europe) and had nice hot water. The location may be the best part. It's in a nice part of town with plenty of restaurants, shopping and is very close to a great metro station. There is even a market close by to get things for the room. Overall this was a great bargain and I highly recommend the Queen Mary.

The location is excellent, very close to restaurant, commerce and spectacles. The room are big, with an excellent bed and spacious bathroom (not usual for paris). My only concern was the floor, which is noisy, so if people walk in the upper floor, they wake you up.

A very nice hotel close to Galeries Lafayette

A great little inexpensive hotel close to Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. It's two blocks to Place de la Madeleine and some nice restaurants. Good staff. The Metro is also a 7-minute walk from the hotel.

Double check your booking

Our Expedia booking clearly stated that breakfast was included. When we checked in the desk clerk told us that breakfast was not included and the charge would be 16 euro x 2 people x 7 days - we chose to buy breakfast items at the bodega close by. When returning home we looked at our booking again just to be sure. Yes breakfast was included. We have written the hotel an email and are currently waiting for a reply.
Will update this review when we have had a response.

Made or 3 days in Paris just perfect. Just 2 minutes from Galerie Lafayette and Le Printemps stores, easy access to Madeleine Station and transfer to other Metro and RER lines, plenty of brasseries and couple of little convenience stores just a minute away. Loved this hotel, beautiful decor, small hotel and all round great stay in Paris. Will definitely stay here again. Loved it. Far superior to any other small hotel I have stayed in in Paris

Great place to stay while visiting Paris

This hotel was recommended by friends who frequently visit Paris. Very conveniently located to Metro shops, walking distance to shopping areas. The only down side was the breakfast room was under renovation. Breakfast was available across the street or with room service. Due to the renovation in progress and some street/sidewalk work, there was some construction noise during the daytime hours. My room overlooked the atrium, so there was no view but was very quiet and protected from any street noise. The rooms are quite close together, so any talking in adjacent rooms could be heard. Would recommend ear plugs for sleeping.

Nice hotel for a couple

The hotel was clean and cute and most of the staff spoke English very well. We would have wanted to have drinks at the lobby, but the receptionist said it was not possible after 22.00. It said in the brochure though that it should be possible until 24.00. Overall we would recommend the hotel for couples on a romantic trip. On the other hand, the hotel didn´t recognize at all that we were on our honeymoon. It would have been nice if they had congratulated us at least.

We booked at the last minute due to a train strike but on arrival we were attended to almost immediately. Staff were professional and friendly and spoke excellent English (a sharp contrast to our pitiful French). Our room was very clean and had air conditioning. Ideally situated near the Grands Magazins and Madeleine, (Metro, RER and Roissybus) )this is a very good quality 3 star hotel with a very helpful and welcoming staff. This is my second stay at the Hotel and I have been very pleased on both occasions. My room was very comfortable, clean and fresh with very pleasing decor. I would have liked an extra blanket on my second stay but other than that I have only good things to say. Would recommend this hotel.

Great Location

I recently spent 5 nights at the queen mary hotel with my mum for my birthday. The location was fantastic, close to shops, and public transport. We walked most places. The rooms were small however that didn't bother us at all as they were very comfortable and nicely decorated. Comfy beds and great staff. Computer/Internet access was fantastic and convenient. All up a great hotel.

Decent Hotel

The hotel was in a decent location, and the price was affordable. The room was really small and did not have an alarm clock or iron. The bathroom/shower was really tiny, and would be difficult for anyone who needs some room.

We were close to a subway stop and able to walk to the Louve and Eiffel tower from here (though a bit of a walk). It was a decent for the time we had to stay there.

Just a warning - the front desk was really nice and helpful, but when we went to check out early in the morning, they tried to charge us for the room even though we had already paid for it through Orbitz. Apparently, there was a problem with charging Orbitz for the room. Not sure if they ever figured it out, but we had to catch our plane. Since they took our credit card number for incidentals, we're still hoping the bill doesn't appear on our credit card sometime this week... That was a bit of a headache!
