The taxi had to have two goes at finding this place but it was very well located. A mini market and fruit market nearby. We walked into the square , lots of fun restaurants and bars close by in our walk home but we could also have eaten next door and had a drink in the bar where we were staying . Nice room very good bathroom. Breakfast was personalised , you order from the menu but it’s all available and included .

This is a lovely small hotel in a great part of Tirana. The staff are friendly and helpful, everything is very well maintained, the rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfast is tasty and filling. It's located in the heart of leafy Blloku, surrounded by cafés and restaurants and only a 20 minute pleasant walk to Skanderbeg Square and the tourist sites.

The hotel is great and the staff are wonderful! It is not in the center of the city, but that worked for me bc I was doing long day trips and didn’t need to be in the center city. The city center is only 15-20 mins walking. Claudia and Ergi were wonderful and accommodating!! They both ensured I had a packed breakfast for my day trips since breakfast is included in the price. Claudia booked my taxis to and from the hotel and made that simple and smooth.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff are very nice. Do not expect amenities that might be offered at other places. Toiletries offered are bars of soap and a dispenser in the shower that I'm not sure was shampoo or body wash. I made it work as shampoo. Someone is not always available at the front desk, nor the bar area; the same person is monitoring both. The breakfast is unbelievably generous.
All in all, it is a budget hotel with very kind staff. It is very clean and within walking distance to many sights (20min+ walking time).

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The breakfast was good. I have no complaints about this hotel. And also only about 10 minutes walk to all the main amenities. If in Tirana again I would stay here again.

The location was amazing. If you want to be close to Blokku, this hotel is a great option. The family room was a bit underwhelming though. Not really part of the hotel, located in a residential building right behind it. Not the hotel room experience I was hoping for. But it has all the facilities and the staff was very nice and welcoming.

I would describe this hotel as quaint. It is located near an area where there are always coffee shops, restaurants, and all kinds of shopping. The rooms are quiet, the staff are friendly and accommodating and there is a small cafe on the property, physically separate from the hotel. The WiFi is spotty at best, but the air conditioner in our room worked very well. The bed was comfortable and the shower didn't take an engineering degree to figure out. The front access door to the hotel can be tricky because you never know when it will be locked. If the reception person has to leave in the afternoon for some reason, they lock the door, then you have to be buzzed in by some other person. We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed our time in Tirana. I would recommend this hotel to people looking for a comfortable and quiet place to stay.

Great place to stay in Albania

Perfect little hotel, close to the city. Big rooms and a great breakfast, where you can choose what you wanna eat from a small menu. Garden space to sit in.

Only small minus is non of the staff speaks very much english, so you can not really ask for recommendations and so. But everyone in the staff where so sweet and helpfull anyway.

A Friendly and Comfortable Stay at Hotel Antigone

Hotel Antigone offers great value for money, perfect for travellers who want a comfortable stay without spending too much. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the city centre, which makes it easy to explore.

The receptionist is one of the best parts of the hotel. She is incredibly kind, does her job with care, and speaks excellent English, making everything smooth and pleasant.

Breakfast is another highlight. Instead of the usual buffet, the hotel makes breakfast fresh when you order, giving it a personal touch. The coffee served with breakfast is amazing too, made with high-quality Arabian beans that really stand out.

All in all, Hotel Antigone is a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for a friendly, affordable, and comfortable hotel, with a few extra touches that make it feel special.

Good hotel

The hotel is in a walkable location to the central area. My room was basic but clean and modern. Everything was there that I needed (the only slight negative was that the aircon didnt seem very effective in cooling the room - but that could be user error?). The breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly.

Bad Experience in the middle of the Night!

The hotel in itself was in a good position, close to bars/restaurants etc, it was clean with friendly staff.

The problems occurred in the middle of the night when it appeared that an argument was taking place in the hotel courtyard. There were very loud shouting and screaming with what felt like 30-45 minutes.

Once this finished there was banging, shouting and screaming again but it felt like it was either within the hotel itself as if someone was trying to break in to a room or someone trying to break into the hotel itself.

This again seemed to go for another 30 minutes or so.

Due to the fact that this went on for so long (probably about an hour and a half in total) it gave us the impression that no staff or security were present. This was a very unnerving experience.

This might have been a one off experience but the fact that it went on for so long (without any apparent challenge from staff) does not reflect on the hotel well.

None of our group have experienced anything quite like it!

Do Not Stay, Very Bad Angry Staff

The shower was blocked and quickly overflowed flooding the room. After cleaning it abit I informed the person in charge at the hotel and he was very angry and aggressive. He blamed me for it and threatened to charge for damage when there was obviously no damage. His English was very bad and he was very narcissistic. This is a very badly run hotel and I definitely do not recommend staying here, there are plenty of better options close by.

We used this place as a start and finish point for our trip. It was perfect for a late arrival on both trips, there is a local car park to drop the car off over night and very close/ easy to get out to the car park from. That was our main criteria. It was a 20 min walk to the main social area in Tirana.
