We stayed in this apartment with three children: 14, 11 and 8. We fit well. The air conditioner worked fine for us. The apartment is centrally located to sites, shops and restaurants. We were on the third floor, but given our heavy meals, the stairs seemed like a positive.

The property was good and central to Rialto bridge. The apartment did not have a safe which most hotels have so we were surprised by this considering it is code entry into the building and a code into the unit. A neighbouring building around the area suffered from construction and throwing bricks to the ground so the morning was noisy. Someone took a massive dump outside the unit door and it seemed others were using the area to pee so it smells bad when you enter the unit. There was also barf around the corner so because it is a dead end and public WCs are limited in Venice, it was not great around the unit. Otherwise it was a suitable unit for families and larger groups that need up to 6 people. The kettle is broken so be careful not to burn yourself because when pouring, boiling water goes everywhere and could result in a terrible burn. The property managers are responsive and helpful. The directions/map with photos provided are good but there has since been a new front door installed so the map shows photos with a door having windows above but now there are no windows in the door which could be very confusing if you are looking for the exact door in the photos provided. Thus instructions/photos need updating.

We absolutely loved this property! It was just an easy 15-minute walk from the main station, with plenty of excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. Communication with the host was seamless. The area was quiet and peaceful at night, yet lively and charming during the day. Its proximity to the ferry stop was ideal for exploring the rest of Venice. Perfect location for our stay!

The apartment right in the middle of center of Venice with easy access to all sightseeing. There is pier in 3 mins from the place, if you arrive by water taxi. We also liked restarants and shopping around the apartment.

This apartment had great views of the canal and rooftops of Venice. It was very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom and being close to all the dining and shopping. There is also luggage storage close by which made it nice for being able to check out and stay a little longer in Venice.

The property has 2 bedrooms and a living area. There is one split AC unit in the living area. No AC in either of the 2 bedrooms. The one AC unit was hardly enough for the living room. Both bedrooms were very hot.

MOLD ISSUE in back room, do NOT stay at this condo

I have been very upset with this property and they did not provide what they offered on the website and then argued with me on if they would provide it or not. In addition, to that the back bedroom has a MOLD problem and they would do NOTHING about it. The room smelled so bad we had to close the door and NOT use the room. This was told to the booking company and hotels.com and NOTHING was returned to me about the status of the apartment. I am not only unhappy with the best venice company but disappointmented in the fact they are selling condos with MOLD issues and I feel the company should be looking in to how to deal with the issue. NO other rooms smell and I am NOT the only adult who was staying in that condo. They also should provide a better assortment of pans and a COFFEE or MOKA to make coffee which was NOT a tea maker.

Nice two bedroom apartment with nice bathroom, washing machine and refrigerator. Excellent location. Good wifi and decent A/C. Cute tiny balcony. Note that you do have to go check in at another location, then take the water bus over to the apartment which is a ways away.

lovely apartment perfect for a weekend stay

very helpful during booking and on arrival, person who met us (squilibrio) also stayed on to offer advice about venice which was very helpful. easily slept us 5 friends with space for 2 more. only downside was the shower wasnt great as preassure was poor and heating inconsistent but hey apart from that a lovely stay and very happy. p.s the coffee shop downstairs on the main road is incredible!!!!

The apartment we rented was spacious (2 bedrooms, 2 baths with shower, living room/kitchen) in a great location just off a lively street in the heart of the San Marco area. We had excellent communication with the staff prior to our stay and they met us to show us our way to the location. Very clean with a modern decor. Very pleased with our stay.

Great Apartment but expensive

The Apartment overall is clean, bright and lods of windows but I believe the price is expensive for that value. Because its located near the market area and boat bus stop which is very useful when you in a rush to airport! Overall great trip, really enjoyed.

We boked this hotel, apartment, because it was on the Rialto area of Venice, which we like a lot and it turned out to be completly in another area of the city. Far from everything.
It was advertised a view of a canal and it also didn't happen.
The bathtub had an important problem and no one responded to our calls to go and fix it!

Misleading location details

- the hotel provider is misleading clients with their description of the property which states 'San Polo Area, Various Addresses Venice', whilst actually the apartment was in the CANNAREGIO area (which is nowhere near). This only became apparent after the booking.
- the whole process after booking was terrible with an email confirmation coming immediately after stating that payment must be made 7 days in advance of arrival when there was only 3 days available. Having made the payment online through Hotels.com, I asked them to confirm the payment had been taken already. To this date I have had no confirmation of what I was actually charged.
- the provider stated that I should meet with their representative 1hr after arriving in Venice (train due at c.9pm with young children). Only after my own research did I realise that the meeting point was a 10 minute walk from the station (they were suggesting that I take a water-bus instead)!
- Air-conditioning was not working which they knew about and the initial response was 'open the window'. Whilst they then provided mobile units the next day (encouraged, no doubt, by the fact that I stated I would move out if it was not fixed), these were not setup properly resulting in many, many mosquito bites
- no outside lighting so very difficult with keys etc
- hot water on demand, only works if there is enough water pressure which there isn't, means the heater keeps turning off when showering
- lighting in the living room was very dim

I believed we booked an apartment with Air conditioning but we got the one with just fans but not all rooms had. We had to move one from living room to bedroom. Water pressure was weak. Access to the apartment was very dark although they have timer lights. The person who received as was fine but told us not to call him if we have problem, he advised to call maintenance which is close during weekend (we stayed Sat & Sunday). The apartment was clean but not comfortable due to lack of AC. We were lucky to have good weather. Location is great and very close to Rialto waterbus station.

Great room but had really bad service issues.

The location and cleanliness of this property is great but we had extremely bad service issues regarding the wifi and air conditioning that forced us into leaving. I have have traveled extensively and its not uncommon to encounter various issues. Its at that moment that you find out whether a property offers good customer service or not. This was one of the worst experiences i've had while traveling and for this reason I cannot recommend this property to anyone. They are completely unwilling to help you should anything go wrong. We were forced to leave the property due to heat and they refused to fix the problem or refund me for my stay so that we could go somewhere else or to a different location they had. Bathrooms are also extremely small.

Poor for the price paid

The apartment was generally clean and tidy. There were facilities available like washing machine, dish washer, cooker/hob and microwave. However, the air conditioning was very poor and we had to keep the windows open all night leading to us being bitten by mosquitoes. Courtesy demands that basic amenities like soap are provided which unfortunately weren't. The locks on the doors were very stiff and difficult to open. Often it was difficult to open the building door and we had to use the back door to get out of the building. On the first day we had no WiFi access but it became available in the morning was intermittent and was practically useless.

We were meant to be received at 10:30pm but our host was 10 mins late leading to confusion and stress. We were asked to sign a waiver with our credit card details even though we had given this detail to hotels.com for any repair that may be required.

We weren't provided with the exact location of the apartment meaning we couldn't plan our excursions in advance and had to wait until we arrived.

Overall, for the money we paid it wasn't what we expected.

Dispointed that when we arrived we had to pay cash for the hotel despite guarenteeing booking on credit card. They wouldnt take credit card and we were effectively marched to a local cashpoint to get more money out! I have complained to Hotel.com on this issue.

The San Marco Project 2 was the location of the apartment. It was near the Arsenale boat stop on the blue line Alilaguna from the airport. There was a restaurant very close where we waited for our contact person who directed us to our apartment. It was on the first floor which means there was one flight of stairs to navigate our bags . It was just a few minutes walk from the boat stop. The location was great . Shopping for a few groceries was handy as well. The wifi was not working but most of the nearby bars and restaurants offered free wifi anyways. The washing mashine did not work . no one came to fix the problem when we reported it to the greeter. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper available and the apartment was very clean. The dishwasher worked well and we supplied our own detergent . We were a prty of 6 adults and managed well with one shower , 2 toilets and 2 sinks. There was enough glass and dishware etc. Remember to get your garbage and recycling out before 8 am mon- sat. The price was great when we booked in March but I see the price has been increased since then . We paid. 190 euros a night plus the cleaning fee. I would recommend this location if you are looking for value and location. Communication with the greeter is very important before and after you arrive in Venice. Ciao.

Apartment was clean and updated to modern standards..looked very nice. Staff was friendly. Very close to water bus that connects you to all locations. The only issue we had was the shower isn't sealed well around the glass doors and it leaked out. Also.. Just a note: washers in Europe do not come with dryers...it takes days to hang them dry in damp weather.

Very wel located near Arsenale boat stop and a short walk from major attractions. The staff member Marco was extremely helpful can meet us at the boat stop and took time with us to talk us through useful information. The room was clean and looked recently renovated.

Was suitable for a family of 5.

Did have a concern with the washing machine and could not get it to work we did send a taext as instuctrctued but did not receive any help to get this resolved so were not able to use this for our stay.

Excellent apartment in excellent location

We enjoyed our time here very much. There is supermarket nearby, it's an easy walk to most things and there's a canal right outside the window. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Like everythingelse in Venice it can be hard to find at first. Note that you will not be told the address until you stuff and meet the agent but knowing the address in advance would not have helped us find it anyway.

The hotel was clean and new. It was a self contained apartment with clean towels and sheets .We were met by the maintenance man who took us to the apartment and showed us around. However the washing machine did not work and when I called the maintenance number I did not relieve a call back. The location was convenient to the boat ramp, shops and restaurants.

A very convenient place to stay

Excellent location, very convenient for the boat stop, supermarket and less expensive places to eat. It was also a relatively good place from which to do an early run. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds and pillows are not luxurious but are completely adequate. It was great to have a dishwasher although it would have been nice if some cleaning tablets were supplied! Neither the hair dryer nor kettle were working but we used a pan of water instead. Very hot overnight once the aircon is off but I guess that is just Venice in July.

We really enjoyed our time at Best Venice Apartments. It's a new and well kept apartment in a part of vVenice full of life and activity and more Venetians than tourists. It is very noisy at night due to local bars so if that is a problem for you bring earplugs. It's close to the Rialto bridge but a reasonable walk to San Marco's. a well stocked modern kitchen. The staff were very good at making contact via email regarding arrival and were there as promised when we got off the boat.

Nice apartment and location. Be aware that the reservation must be paid in cash. A few more ammenities, dish soap, bar soap, trash bags would be appreciated. Liked that the heat was available 24 hrs. Lots of hot water. Our contact picked us up at the boat stop and was very thorough in the explanation of the apartment.

Not what we expected.

The apartment was nice but the service was terrible. Greeter confused me with someone else and our appointment time was not met. Instead, she finally met us 2 1/2 hours later than what was originally planned. The location was not where we expected either. We asked for something close to St. Mark's Square; instead, we were rented an apartment about 20 minutes away (closer to the train station than the square). Overall, I would not rent from them again.

Not as advertised!!

My family and I stayed here for 2 of the 3 nights that we reserved. This started off with the reception person being late.
When we got to the apartment it only had 1 bathroom (advertised as 2). Also, no porch or balcony to sit on (also in description). owner was not willing to work with us at all. It was close to 5 pm at this point we had an overtired 2 year old and we felt we had no option but to stay or face the misery of dragging our two year old to find a new hotel along with all of our bags.
We stayed in what is advertised as a 6 person apartment.
There is a master bedroom that holds two and this room was nice. A second bedroom is the size of a closet and has a single bed. There is a kitchen area that had a small sofa that we were told could hold an additional two. This really was not a comfortable arrangement for more than 3 adults.
no toiletries were provided.No trash bags for anything that needs to be taken to street.
We were repeatedly told that the description was created by the hotels.com people and not by the owner. Ludicrous to us but we were stuck. The place flooded on the first night and smelled like a soiled diaper. We ended up finding a new hotel.
We were charged an extra 85 euros for cleaning fee and we were charged 10 euros for a baby bed.
In short, the description is not what what we got and the owner was unwilling to work with us or accept responsibility for the inaccurate description.

Hidden Gem In Venice

The apartment was clean & modern - a beautiful refurbishment of an old building. The cost was reasonable considering its location near to the Rialto & San Marco , but still cost more than our accomodations in Rome & Florence combined, but that goes with the territory. The apartment was filled with all mod cons with a supermarket 2 minutes away to stock up on food & drink which was excellent.. Our only disappointment was that there was no terrace garden which we had expected due to the photos on Hotels.com but that was an assumption by us.

It was exactly what we needed. It was a self-catering apartment, newly renovated with all facilities. It was very clean and if we are visiting Venice again we will definitely stay there again. As it was spread over 4 floors though I would not recommend staying there with elderly relatives, as I did. It was a bit of a treck for them climbing up and down the stairs. Otherwise though it was great.

Close to Ponte Rialto and its market. At 15-20min from st Mark Square.

The apartment is old and without basics(no bath gel, no shampoo, no basics for kitchen cleaning).

Air condition only in corridor, not in bedrooms. The air condition machine very very noisy at night

Communication with owner not existent. Only answers when is related to pay the taxes. If you have any need there’s no answer.

Det indfriede alle ønsker. Rent og pænt, faciliteterne var gode og vi fik både vasket tøj og lavet mad, og lejligheden lå centralt. Mindre end 1 minut derfra er der en Coop, så indkøb er lige ved hånden.

Venedig er svært at finde rundt i, vejledningen til at komme frem til lejligheden skal man bruge. Stol ikke på GoogleMaps.

Le grand lit était très dur. Les deux autres plus petit plus confortable. Pas eu de ménage prévu pendant le séjour comme indiqué sur le site.

Very comfortable stay

Apartment with 2 bedrooms, a mini living room with kitchen. The only AC was situated in the hall but we didn't feel it was too hot in the house. The beds were very comfortable and the washing machine was definitely a plus. Clean bathroom and in general. Easy to get to and it's just a 15 mins walk to Piazza San Marco, has a supermarket nearby, pretty convenient in general.
The only negative point is, which I believe is the same in every apartment in Venezia due to its old buildings, there is no lift, only stairs, so it might be a bit of a hassle getting big luggage up and down.
The staff can be reached easily by whatsapp, our AC remote controller ran out of battery and I got a reply pretty fast when I asked for new ones, the only problem is, that issue was never resolved as we didn't receive any battery so we just couldn't turn off the AC. But overall it was a good stay.

El apartamento ha sido una maravillosa opción para pasar los dos días que estuvimos en Venecia. Todo el apartamento era bastante nuevo y estaba muy bien organizado.La ubicación es espectacular, muy céntrico y cercano a todo. Se puede ir sin ningún problema a pie a casi todos los sitios.
Como única pega podríamos decir que debería haber tenido algunas mantas más para las camas que tenía, ya que la calefacción llego a alcanzar la temperatura adecuada prácticamente el día que nos marchábamos.

Opredningen var som vi havde bestilt den - 1 dobbeltseng og 2 enkelte.
Vi blev samlet op af en anden person end den aftalte. Hun var dog sød og servicemind'et.
Vi havde e-mail'et frem og tilbage nogle gange med hotellet og afgivet personlige oplysninger. Men disse oplysninger havde hun ikke så dem måtte vi afgive igen.
For en sikkerheds skyld ville jeg lige teste adgangen til wi-fi. Men det viste sig at wi-fi modemet var væk. Hun gav besked til dem der administrerer og sagde at det ville komme i løbet af næste dag - hun kunne dog ikke sige hvornår på dagen. Det kom ikke. Vi ringede til det nummer der var opgivet som kontaktnummer. Vi fik en telefonsvarer og de ringede aldrig tilbage. Vi ringede også direkte til hende der administrerede det (som jeg havde e-mail'et flittigt med op til turen). Der fik vi også en svarer og hun ringede heller aldrig tilbage. Vores wi-fi kom aldrig og vi hørte aldrig noget fra dem.
Den ene håndvask på toilettet lækkede vand på gulvet så den måtte vi undlade at bruge.
Vi fandt også hurtigt ud af at vi var nød til at slukke køleskabet mens vi brugte brødristeren - ellers slog HFI relæet fra.
Bortset fra disse ting var lejligheden dog fin og beliggenheden perfekt midt på Dorsoduro. Vi havde en dejlig tid trods alt.

Llegamos a Venecia y fuimos a la dirección que nos pasó Hoteles.com y sorpresa no estaba allí,la oficina para recoger las llaves. Eso nos costó, no solo una fortuna para hablar por teléfono público, si no, que nos dijeron que no teníamos la reserva porque nuestra tarjeta de crédito había sido rechazada, cosa que no podía ser porque si no Hoteles.com, no hubiera aceptado la reserva. Llamamos a Hoteles.com y se puso en contacto con Best Venice y arregló el tema. Para cuando terminó esto, habían pasado tres horas de nuestra llegada. Una vez en el departamento, no tenía siquiera papel higiénico ni jabón, cosa que en todo departamento lo ponen. La limpieza, la hicieron muy por arriba. La ubicación es lo único bueno. Puedes hacer todo caminando.

location d'appartement dans le quartier de SanPolo

Très bien situé. Bonne literie, et très propre. L'appartement manque juste un peu de décoration et de personnalité. Un peu chiche sur certains points: papier toilette, pastilles lave-vaisselle, pas de torchon, ....
A part ces points l'appartement est spacieux, bien que sombre, et confortable à deux pas du Rialto. parfait pour un séjour en famille.

très bien situé

Il manquait un peut de services confort (savons dans la salle de bains, bouteille d'eau à l'arrivée...)mais l'appartement est globalement très bien. L'emplacement est très bien mais c'est très sombre (on n'est pas réveillés par le soleil!!!)
