The listing includes soundproofing, rainfall shower head, premium bedding and certain kitchen appliances, and none of those were true. I’m not sure the sheets were even clean when I got there and the units are definitely not even close to soundproof. The location was decent.

1) Family with small mobile kids should not stay here, it is quite unsafe. Stairs have no railing and windows can be open with no safe railing so they could possibly climb and fall off. HEAVY SUPERVISION IS A MUST.
2) The pool cost money to use and has to reserved ahead of time.
3) No Toilet paper (ask for more but no response), or shampoo or soap. Only hand washing soap are available.
4) Place is dirty and kinda falling apart.

PROS: We arrived early and they were very accommodating

The communication around check in was poor. The studio wasn’t clean. There were missing light bulbs. The refrigerator is a pocket size. The kitchenette is definitely not a full kitchen. There is no air conditioning so we needed to keep the window open, but it was too noisy at night. Too much noise and cigarette smoking around so the smoke was always in our studio. Would not label these “VIP” apartments at all. The only positive was the location. We would not stay there again.

The room was large and comfortable, and it had a kitchen with cooking utensils. The building is located in the central area of Santiago. The reception staff at the building weren't very friendly, but that didn't spoil the experience.

The apartment was extremely dirty: windows, floors, and the kitchen. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, both among the dishes and on the floor. It was difficult to tell whether the bed linen was fresh. The place urgently needs a very thorough cleaning. Host responsive, location ok

Perfect for a family vacation.

The room is really nice and comfortable. The location is very convenient.
Katherine was very friendly and flexible regarding the check in and check out time.
I highly recommend staying there for a family vacation. The hotel provides transfer which made us feel safe since we arrived at 3 am.

We weren't expecting much because we were not going to spend much time in the apartment, but it was very basic. The hot water must have only worked between certain times of the day because as we arrived late the first night the shower wouldn't heat up. We also found the same with mornings, we had excursions planned and had to be up early so not being able to shower as and when required didn't help. This wasn't communicated and I'm only assuming this was the case with the hot water.

It fit our family of 6 just fine, with room for 1 more comfortably. They were able to accomodate our luggage after we checked out so we could make the most of our last day in Santiago. A great space for a family to enjoy downtown together.

Bring your own soaps/shampoos etc. Plenty of places nearby to purchase all you need when you arrive. Right between a couple of metro lines and plenty of public transportation available.

Quiet on weekends with limited stores open. Weekdays are ideal, near restaurants, bars, stores, groceries, museums and parks. Staff very accommodating . Pool area is a little run down and balcony furniture would be appreciated . Good value for price.

This place does not have A/C. No one speaks English. There was ZERO communication with whoever actually owns the apartment. The security guard had our keys. The pool deck had broken boards that were dangerous to walk on. There is no laundry even though it is advertised. The apartment itself was highly dangerous. We were on the 7th floor and the windows had no screens. My daughter's bunk bed was right up next to the window. We had to move it so she wouldn't accidently roll out the window. It was a deathtrap. There was a chunk of hair in the bathroom drain, stains on the beds, really old pillows, barely enough towels. I would not stay here.

This location offers a comfortable and convenient experience. Situated in the heart of downtown, it is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and attractions. The property features a kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals, and the staff is friendly and highly responsive to any needs.

While the building is older and may not make a strong initial impression, it quickly proves to be a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

Complicated if you don’t speak Spanish

VIP apartments was a reasonable price for central Santiago, but I wouldn’t recommend it for people arriving late in the evening or those who don’t have a competent level of Spanish. Although reception is 24 hours, it’s a very large residential building and the people on reception didn’t seem to be responsible for dealing with guests! I had to go up to a small office to collect my key and pay. While the staff I dealt with were professional, the context didn’t give me confidence that my booking was “official”. The apartment itself was ok, but looked a bit “tired”.

The hotel is very dirty, and many items are in tatters. It is completely different from the pictures I saw online. There are also some self-proclaimed cleaning staff who often ring the doorbell in the morning, even though it is not my check-out time yet. There is no redeeming feature except that it is very close to attractions such as the Plaza de Armas.

Apartment looked super nice from the pictures but turned out to be extremely small. The pullout couch was barely a single and did not fit 2 people. There was no wifi. Access to the pool was also restricted and we were not able to use it.

We liked the service from Rodrigo who looked after every wish. We liked the proximity to downtown , the subways and the grocery store across the street. However the roof top pool was available by appointment only for a fee and never available when we wanted it. It should be free and available all the time. We enjoyed our stay at VIP very much.

Muy limpio y en buenas condiciones. Totalmente central. Lo único que le resta comodidad al espacio, es el personal de seguridad del hall de entrada, quienes no te responden el saludo ni la despedida, cosa a la te tratan de manera bastante incómoda al llegar. No hay asientos para esperar en el hall, y en general el recibimiento en ese sector fue desagradable.

The manager was very helpful and the security was great. Not the best place to stay for a night if doing a layover. I got woken up by the neighboring apartment’s dog and people being loud around 11pm and onwards. Couldn’t go back to sleep. Other than that, great central spot for walking around and seeing the nice buildings.

We were three families traveling. Each one of us checked in separately on the same day-all with same results. It took more than one hour between the time we got there, and the time it took the completely untrained person to give us our keys.
She had zero knowledge
Of English. When I buy from Expedia, I fully expect basic working English. The lady didn’t know how to run the credit card machine, had no idea that we had already requested for parking. The person who was our contact for the property is probably in another city. I had to call her 3 times while I waited at building security.
In the end, I just decided to find my own parking, and asked the lady to just leave us alone. Spending more than hour with her was not really part of our itinerary.
The location of the apartments was convenient to the places we wanted to visit. But the extreme hassle with check in wasted a lot of our time causing us to missing some attractions.
Stay away.

No air conditioning!

The reservations say to contact the owner 48 hours ahead. This was a challenge since we were in another country and didn't have an international phone. We tried to send an email but never received an answer. Thus, when we arrived at the building there were a few tense moments as we tried to confirm our room. The front desk had to call the owner and we waited in the lobby for a while before she came to let us in.

There was no air conditioning at this apartment and we arrived hot and tired from traveling on a 90 degree (F) day, to a very hot room. We left the windows open all night but there were no screens on the windows so we had some buggy visitors and heard the night noises of the city all night long (they collect garbage during the night hours!)

The apartment itself was clean and spacious with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and easily accommodated the 6 members of our family.

There is no front desk to assist you. This is an apartment building with security downstairs, not a front desk. They may or may not be helpful in assisting you to contact the owner of the apartment, so be prepared to wait. Paying by credit card was unexpected by owner & inconvenient. Room was not ready when I arrived, despite confirming my arrival time. In fact, the room had been given away. The owner also had to move me to a different room during my stay, and my room was not ready the second time either. Found a pile of spaghetti in the microwave from the previous occupant. Daily room \"cleaning\" was unexpected but consisted of making the bed, taking out the trash and washing some dishes. Otherwise the room did not ever look or feel clean. Our \"non-smoking room\" reeked of cigarette smoke and our belongings smelled like smoke even when we got back home. Dishes in the cupboard did not look clean.

Good location.

Booked the 3 bedroom apartment but when we arrived, the people who were currently staying there decided to stay longer so we were given the 2 bedroom and a studio instead for no extra cost. This was fine but annoying when we had booked so far in advance. The apartment gets housekeeping done on weekdays, not weekends. The apartment is good but second bedroom and bathroom is small. There is a small kitchen with kettle, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery etc. The supermarket is just across the street so you can buy supplies and make your own meals if you wanted to. Payment is in us dollars upfront so have your money ready.

Horrible experience with this 'VIP' staying!

1. We waited about one hour for checking in;
2. The owner should give us $5USD change and he promised to give us but he did not (we were asked to pay cash to the owner. We did it but as we did not have small cash so we gave him $5 more). He he would gave us the $5 change next day, but he never showed up.

We do not recommend you to stay such a poor service place and deal with such a unreasonable owner.

A estadia tinha tudo para ser excelente, pela localização. Mas as condições de conservação e manutencao do apto estao pessimas.
Tampa do vaso quebrada, um perigo para cortes e quedas, limpeza muito superficial. Muita poeira escondida embaixo dos moveis. Poderia ocorrer um troca de toalha. 07dias sao demais. Mesmo que cobre uma taxa extra. Mas isto e higiene. Viajamos de aviao com limite de bagagem. Algumas ccoisas nao sao custos. Agregam. Papel higienico e uma delas.

O check - in foi muito tranquilo. Ao chegar no local já havia uma pessoa esperando para entregar a chaves e passar as informações necessárias. O Apartamento é completo com tudo que precisamos para nossa estadia. Estavamos em um grupo de 7 pessoas e foi excelente o apartamento. E ainda tinha vista para a rua.
