Super 8 in Cloquet, MN is located just 15 minutes from Lake Superior/Duluth. During the winter there is skiing, snowmobiling, hockey and ice skating all within minutes of the motel.

During the summer there is swimming, fishing, hiking, festivals and of course shopping. For those who like to stay in, we have four whirlpool theme suites and an executive suite, 1- Polynesian Suite, 2 - Edmund Fitzgerald, 3 - Jewel of the Nile and 4 - Northern Exposure.

All suites have 27 inch television, fridge, coffee maker, and king size beds. Our doubles and singles are equipped with queen size beds and all rooms have free cable and HBO.

Local calls are free as well as the SuperStart Breakfast, and 24hr coffee. If you have any questions about restaurants, trails, cribs or rollaways, we do have a 24hr front desk that will be happy to help you.

The breakfast food was expired. I checked dates on the dairy products and all were expired by 4-5 days, the juice machine was broken, there was cereal and bagels. Room was clean. Staff was not exceptionally friendly. It’s a clean hotel that is lacking care.

We had a very spacious room with a king bed, desk, sofa and chair. It was very clean with new carpeting. Great, fast check-in and check-out. Glad we were able to stay for two nights.

Staff are always super friendly and make you feel like family. Only thing was it was busy and I couldn’t get the main floor room so my 78 year old friend had a lot of trouble climbing the stairs. She has severe arthritis and knee problems. But I will always stay at this hotel because of the atmosphere , clean rooms and always quiet.

Only fruit was apples, bagels were hard. Had to throw the first one away bec it was so hard I couldn't even split it in half for the toaster. Only hot item was Jimmy Dean breakfast biscuits you microwave and oatmeal.

Too expensive for level of amenities. Felt exploited. Bathroom tub dirty. Poor pillows. Hard beds. Decor did not match. No gluten-free options for the \"breakfast\", which was really a Continental breakfast, not a full breakfast. Halls not well-lit, no elevator. People were pleasant.

very clean room! the staff were very friendly, and the continental breakfast was substantial...fyi: the switch right next to the mirror by the sink must be in the \"on\" position in order to activate the light on the mirror light. We will definitely stay there again!

We decided to stay in Cloquet for the night instead of paying a lot more to stay in Duluth for our trip. It was in a good location, staff was very friendly, however the 2 queen beds we got were extremely uncomfortable. Every time you rolled you could hear and feel the springs in the mattress. I would highly recommend you replace them asap. We both woke up with sore backs.

The bathroom was definitely not cleaned. Well there was still items on the floor from the previous guests dirty behind toilet and in the corners. The bedspread had dried crusty stuff on it. A gentleman working at the front counter was kind and courteous.

They charged us $70.00 more than the rserved price without explanation. The mattress closest to the bathroom had broken springs that made it unusable. Both beds made loud clanking noises when you turned over in them.

The room was kind of small but we didn't spend much time there, so it was perfect. Very clean, comfortable and staff was more than accomodating. Perkins was right next door so we ate breakfast there each morning. There was a Continental Breakfast at the hotel but where we live there's no Perkins. The continental breakfast had Egg McMuffins, Pastries and Coffee which would be very convenient for early risers. Shopping was across the street at Walmart with more Shopping just up the road. All in all, we would definetly recommend this property to everyone who wants a clean, comfortable room at a great price. Kudos to Expedia for helping us find this little gem.

Problem with hotel or Expedia, requested 2 rooms on main floor unless had an elevator. Got the 2 rooms on second floor, no elevator, and couldn't have been further apart. Parties in both rooms have difficulty with stairs. Very disappointed. Other thing were the toilets. Not made for adults, sit very low.

My husband and myself like the fact that the staff was so accommodating.
But when we wanted to stay a third day this woan went crazy on my husb.My husband said that the young man was vveey accommodating. He was going to stay another night because i had to stsy in tye hospital anoth night. So he just drove home whi c h was an 1hour and a half away.
I akm not happy about that and won't stay there again because if the staff behavior
