While staying the staff was really friendly. The only problem we had was the microwave not working in our room. But that was easily solvable when the staff told us we could use the microwave in the breakfast area. All-in-all, we had a great time staying at this hotel and will be looking at staying here again in the future.

Needs some TLC

The room I stayed in was in need of a good cleaning and simple updates. The outside of the building needs a power washer date and I was awakened by what looked to be a homeless person wandering the 2nd floor hall. The door at the far end of the building had the lock mechanism covered with tape so the door would not lock, a bit of a security issue. The breakfast consisted of cereal, toast, and drinks. The OJ was bitter.
The staff was friendly but I don't know if anyone was actually in charge.

Good value if you just need a clean bed. The room had the basic amenities (fridge, microwave, TV). Linens and bed were clean and comfortable. Hallways have a musty smell but room was okay. I think the staff work hard to make a decent experience in an older building.

The whole place was very dirty. the exterior doors near my room from outside were unlocked and no one needed a key to get in so anyone could’ve just walked in - as a solo female traveler I felt very unsafe. There was also a door to an adjoining room with one very measly lock, and no option for a do not disturb sign for the main door. Very loud as if I were near a mechanical room? Would not recommend.

Rotten Stay in Chennault, Ohio

This was the worst property you ever sent us to stay. When we arrived at 7:00 pm two homeless, shirtless men were wandering around inside. The lock to the outer door granting card access to the building was broken. The bathroom tile was rusty and mildewed. The “free” breakfast was a joke. We can’t believe Wyndham licensed this property. It was awful.

Disgusting hotel, the floors were literally damp and smelled like piss. Checked in super late after being on the road all day and it took about 20 min to get a key card to my room because they didn’t know what they were doing. Highly recommend to never stay here.

I was skeptical at first due to mixed reviews that I read. Overall the room was clean other than some grime in the refrigerator and behind the toilet. We had to get our room key reset twice because it wouldn’t work but the staff was very helpful in getting it fixed quick. I would definitely stay again if we ever decided to take another quick trip to Conneaut.

front desk gave us a great room for getting my dog in and out without disturbing others. I was gad to be in an end room as only one side could have other guests and hardly anyone had to walk by our room. My dog is happier with less disturbance.

We were not informed that you had to ASK the front desk to have your room cleaned, so after 4 days went by without a cleaning, we went to the desk to ask them to clean our room. They cleaned, but did not change the bed linens, so we went back to the desk & they gave us the sheets & pillow cases & we changed them ourselves.

Slightly dissapointed in room condition. Shower didnt work right. Beds were very uncomfortable breakfast was extremely limited and items werent re stocked in a timely manner for guests to eat at. For what we paid was not thrilled. Staff was friendly though.

I specifically asked the man at check-in to not put us near a door because I did not want to be woken up at 5:30 in the morning by door slamming for people going outside to go to work. Because this happened the last time we stayed at a Days Inn when we were in Missouri. The boy at check-in assured us that we were nowhere near a door and this would not be a problem. Will needless to say the the three nights we stayed here every morning at 5:30 AM that door was slamming. And the outside door to the back parking lot where they insisted we parked the lock was broken. You could see people pulling in and trade in money with somebody and leaving abruptly. Our room had obvious damage to the walls and to the floors. That they had neglected to repair. And the faucet in our bathroom ran the entire time we were there.

Old, comfortable place to stay

Certainly an old property. Fresh paint in the room. Old, mismatched furniture but, that isn't what we were there for. Comfortable, friendly people. Bathroom is very small and had a LOT of dirt build up in the corner behind the door. (a pile of dirt). Other than that, quiet place to stay. Appears maybe they are upgrading? Hallway carpet and wallpaper seemed much newer than anything in the room. Clean and comfortable. Priced a little high for what it is however, nothing else in the area.

The people were so nice, friendly, and patient. Our stay was so restful. I accidentally locked my keys in my car. I called AAA to get it open. They were extremely gracious about extending our check out time considering our situation. As it turned out, the guy came early enough to check out on time. I highly recommend this business. They took good care of us.

Cheap price for a safe place to stay. No frills.

Cheap price for a safe place to sleep. Friendly front desk staff. I’ve stayed here before and mostly know what to expect. Free WiFi and a free limited breakfast. Disappointed that the restaurant closed as it was a major convenience. Stained carpet was a quick reminder that you get what you pay for.

The parking lot was completely iced over. I grabbed a bag from the back seat, went to close the door and slipped on the ice landing mostly on my left hip area. I had intense pain. The asst manager was very friendly when we checked in. But when he brought us an ice bucket, we told him about the fall and his attitude was “oh well”, they don’t salt the lot because it causes pit marks in the asphalt. None of the doors to the motel were locked so anyone could effectively walk right in. We had an incident with another guest who was sitting in his truck indicating if I didn’t like his music, insert vulgar terminology. We tried to walk away although he insisted that my friend threatened him with a gun, so he called 911 then came over and shoved the phone in my face, we finally got away and went to our room. Later the police arrived at our door with the asst manager Zach, who claimed my friend told him at check-in that he had a gun, which is a false statement as that was never said. The police asked if we had a gun and my friend showed him it was in a backpack in the case. The young man sitting in his truck was either high or intoxicated. I did not feel safe knowing that none of the entrances were locked. I also had to endure a night of pain from falling on the ice. As I was loading the car the next morning when we were leaving I found both keys were deactivated before check out time. I have stayed here in the past but will never stay here again.

Savior when stranded

I had to get off the interstate at the closest hotel during some unexpected snow. The Days Inn popped up right when I needed it. It was only 1:00 p.m. but the manager,
Kimmie said no problem come on in! She was amazing! Traveling alone and in an unfamiliar area I felt very safe and welcomed here! There was a chance that I was going to have to spend more than one night. Although I didn't, I would have felt very comfortable here!

I have been coming here for the past 3 trips. Always a good stay, amazing staff and convenience for travel and parking. We did stay during a snow storm which was a little busy. The shower didn’t turn warm water it was either really hot or freezing cold no in between. The lights also didn’t work until they were changed upon arrival. Apart from that - great stay.

My best assessment would be “lipstick on a pig”. This was an old Days Inn that was somewhat updated. It was old but we made the best of it. The bathroom was really cramped but not much can be done at this stage. The beds were comfortable. There was a refrigerator and a microwave.
The breakfast was really disappointing as there was basically cereal and some bagels or toast and some muffins. Nothing hot, no fresh fruits. Oh, no coffee in the room. Couldn’t seem to find any news or weather channels on the tv, just apps and you could use your personal Netflix account. If I’m in the area again I’m pretty sure I’ll keep driving.
