Hats off to the staff who were very kind, attentive and welcoming. Very attentive to ours and everyone's needs/requests....biggest complaint has nothing to do with staff or really much of anyone's fault, but the location waa a bit isolated from stores, shopping, restaurants, etc - basically nothing within walking distance. However, the trade off is a beautiful beach location and well maintained establishment. As long as you have a golf cart for your trip, that changes everything, as you can get to most anything you might need, within a 5 minute trip. But overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Anna Maria Beach Resort. Great pool and hot tub, we also reserved their cabanas for a couple days, and those were very nice/enjoyable. I would certainly consider staying here again in the future.

Truly everything was as described! Really appreciated the intimateness of this resort-it is also the prettiest place on the beach. So much so that we noticed non customers brazen enough to utilize its private beach lounges and also enter the fence and indulge in the pool & hot tub. Only once did the staff address this even though we witnessed it several times during our stay.

Its incredible that at $800 per night rate you wouldn’t have any beach/pool towel.We were told to use the bathroom ones so if we use those then after taking a shower what will happen??? This place is over rated and for sure with that price-benefits im not a returning customer for sure.

We had an emergency pivot to this resort after an unexpectedly disastrous experience at Lifo Beach Resort. They fortunately had a room which turned out to be incredible. The view here is just beyond compare and the location to the beach is exceptional. The staff is top notch attentive, friendly, and kind. We will be back.

First off, ‘beach front, pool view’ means the resort is beachfront and your room is pool view — quite the misleading language when booking. Lady behind desk said she had to get used to that language when she started as she too thought it meant you had both a beachfront and pool view room.

The property was clean and not crowded because there are only 40 units. Staff was very friendly. We used the free bikes, and beach chairs with umbrellas. A free trolly runs by this property every 20 minutes to take you around the island and to restaurants.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Anna Maria Island Resort! The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable — the perfect place to relax after a day in the sun. We especially loved having the Lavazza coffee machine in the room; such a great touch to start the mornings right. The resort truly thinks of everything: fresh towels, umbrellas, beach chairs right on the sand, and a lovely pool for the kids. Shower outside, new property so it’s even nicer in person. Jose at the lobby was amazing and made our experience even better. overall all the staff was kind and friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

Well maintained and clean hotel. Very nice pool and great spot on the beach. Only issues: advertising a king and a fold out queen bed but got a king and 2 cots. The cots filled up all the space in the room making it cramped, couldn’t get out the back door. Also provided with only 1 extra blanket? How are 2 cots supposed to use one blanket? Last issue…. Admittedly we didn’t get insurance and we had to change our dates within the week before, but it was really surprising that we had to pay double just for changing dates. Definitely made it not worth what we got for the stay.

On booking and online checking we were promised and given a 2nd floor room with a sea view which we paid extra for. On checking we were given a ground floor room with no meaningful sea view right at the far end and next to a neighboring hotel that was under construction. It was noisy, dusty and dirty. In my view the hotel should have been shut while this work was going on. Even on the beach you couldn’t hear the waves for the constant banging. The hotel decided by not making this information available at time of booking and still charging the full mid summer rate

Loved this property. Had it narrowed down between this resort and one down the road and I’m SO GLAD I chose this property!! I drove up from Naples and met my son who is attending USF here for a long weekend of Mom & Son time. It’s located on the tip of the island so the views were exceptional!! We had an amazing stay on Anna Maria island. The resort has the best amenities- heated pool and jacuzzi, outdoor games, a beautiful beach and chairs and umbrellas set up.
The only downfall was they were doing construction and sandwiched us in between the two rooms they were redoing which was troublesome for us and our little ones as it was very noisy.
It wouldn’t keep us from returning though!

Unfortunately the heater in the pool and hot tub wasn't working properly, and the tv in the living area of my room wasn't functioning, and there was a lot of construction going on on the first floor of the building (from the hurricanes). But will most definitely be back in the future!

What a peaceful week at this resort. Still lots of rebuilding and construction on site from the storm but the room and views made up for it. We visited furing a cold week and didnt get much beach time but the time we did get was a quick walk from the room. Would def stay again!
