This was a lovely little surprise. We were in the \"family block\" as we'd requested a quieter location. We were one of only two couples at the resort but the staff were incredible and couldn't do enough for you. Panos and his family were a delight and looked after us really well. We were expecting to feel a bit out of place being over 35 but we lobed Mslia and would visit again. Only wish therehad been some shade around the pool area as we'd have spent more time there then.

The hotel it’s self is 3minute walk to the pool not cool the cleaners are wonderful the assistant called Michal is very rude u have to pay for WiFi daily per person we was there for a week they did not change our bed sheets they came to sweep floor n change towels’ the community is very racist to all colours if you are not white the just stare at you like wat the hell but apart from that’s it’s ok I just wouldn’t stay here again and I would not recommend to others.

Nice hotel but noisy

Requested a high floor room but got a ground floor one. Staff were nice and helpful, showed me to my room and went through all the facilities. Room was basic and quite dark, bed were very hard and the shower cubicle was so small you could hardly move. Positives large fridge with complimentory bottle of water, free air con and toiletries and small TV. The bed was too hard for me so was unable to sleep. People were playing music outside on the patio in the room next door till late and music from the pool went on till the early hours. Wi-fi wasn't working in the evenings,

In terms of Value and Quality, best hotel In Malia

Second time staying here now and I've got to say if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Malia, come here.
You are treated like family and its the perfect location, close enough to the strip for those who want to go out and party but far enough away to be away from any noise if you enjoy you're sleep.

I actually stayed at another place for the first week I was there, and then came over to here (no availability during the first week)

Big difference, decent beds, shower and mini kitchen area and the sheets are changed daily along with towels and the room itself.

If anything just come to see Panos, you could be staying in a tent and he will still put a smile on your face.
He will go above and beyond for you, I asked if he know anywhere that could change a watch battery, most hotels would give directions. He gave me a lift there and made sure it was done quickly for me.

Come and see for yourself!

Excellent hotel we loved it!

From reading reviews, meeting some very happy previous stayers on our flight out our expectations were high. Panos & his team did not disappoint us. After a poor transfer (not related to the hotel) we arrived very late, hours later thn anticipated. The owner & his staff we still waiting to greet us at the top of the road. We were warmly welcomed, hurried to our rooms with a quick explanation of where everything was, and then left to sleep with a considerate late morning check-in scheduled the next day.
We could not have been better looked after. At check-in we were welcomed into the family. were given welcome drinks, a room upgrade. We booked on their BBQ evening for a resonance sum which gave you free in room wifi for the week, a t-shirt, and a fab night of fantastic food & Cretan/Greek dancing. It was a great night.
Throughout the stay the staff & family made you so welcome. Always stopping for a chat & checking you were ok. This was all staff - the chatming sexy Panos the owner, his beautiful wife Joanna &;their lovely children, the ever helpful Michael on reception, Michael the wonderful night guard, the two chatty & smiley Maria's on the bar, the tour rep, and the friendly cleaners. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of people there had been before &;would come again. Everyone in Malia knew Panos & he was held in high regard. We haf a great time
We very much anticipate returning, and will be keeping in touch. We very much hope that Panos &;Joanne will visit us in the UK

What a good choice for Malia!

I wanted to get somewhere that wasn't too close to the strip but also wasn't too far.

Aegean Sky was the perfect distance, very short walk from everything but far enough away to get some good sleep (should you want to)

Panos and his entire family were amazing and hospitable, they treat you like a family member when you are there (and even when I no longer was staying there, I still popped in for a coffee)

I recommend the pool view rooms as they have the best location and are closest to the pool (obviously) and the bar for food and drinks.

I will be coming back

What a great vacation!!!!

The owner, Pano's, his entire family and his long time manager, Kostas where absolutely phenomenal!! They take care of you immediately upon your arrival, treat you really like family your entire stay, and ensure you are satisfied for your entire stay. There was a mix up in our room booking and they immediately upgraded us to one of thier best rooms. When we departed, they played a goodbye song for us, as they do with all guest, and his entire family watched us drive away as if a family member was leaving. Some complain on here but they fail to realize that the mastery of customer service is becoming a lost art - this small family run hotel has mastered it!!! We easily could've stayed at a five star but have never received the attention to detail like at this place. We will be back!! From my family to you and your entire staff, THANK YOU for the wonderful memories!!!!

this hotel should not be missed,why because they go out of there way to make you feel part of their family from the moment you arrive to the time you leave its the best experience ever,they cater for everyone this wont be my last time of visiting this hotel as I am already looking forward to next year,the staff panos costas,joseph and panos\"s wife what a lovely lady also all the rest of the family,they do a very good greek night with food and dancing,service beyond excellent ,its also not to close to the busy strip where all the young ones go but you do not get bothered by noise because its far enough away,the food is good and the drinks are very good value for money

Perfect Hotel for Malia

This hotel is an excellent pick for those staying at Malia! You will be greeted by Panos and Costas very warmly, giving a lasting impression on how well they will care for their customers, calling them families. The hotel is very close to the main strip and taxi hub. There are a variety of rooms, from 2 to 4 bedrooms, maybe more that I missed. The duo will help you find great deals on where to go and what to do that are worth experiencing. Panos always has great music playing, and pretty much owns the show by the poolside. The Saturday barbecues he puts on are well worth seeing, go to it! Overall, a great experience, to the point that even if one was to stay mostly at the hotel it will be worth the visit.

Welcoming Friendly Helpful and Comfortable

We arrived pretty late and we were a bit travel weary. We were warmly welcomed and settled in with a minimum of fuss. We felt straight away that they expected us and waited especially to see us settled.
During our stay, we enjoyed warm hospitality Kostas and Panos local knowledge helped us find the best beaches, antiquities, and amusements. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. This hotel is to be highly recommended. Back at home now rested and a bit euphoric, just what I needed from a holiday.
Many Thanks to all the staff at Aegean Sky. See you again as soon as we can.

Nice hotel close to the party scene.

An interesting hotel. Would definitely recommend for people who like to party. The all day breakfast was great!!

However I was not too keen on the 25€ i paid for a traditional Greek dance & activities as i was mislead on the specifics of the event. Having seen other Greek dances and activities I have never had to pay such a high price. The main reason I paid this was for the 'prizes' i wss told that were being issued.

Although I was 2 hours late and the staff were kind enough to still serve me, the dinner was not good. This was expressed by other guests. I was told drinks were 2 for 1 however...as a beer drinker...beer was not included. Other guests also mentioned the 2 for 1 drinks were being given less alcohol than normal priced drinks which defeats the purpose of 2 for 1 drinks. Was also told prizes for this special activity would include a free stay but the only prizes given out were drinks! Nevertheless it's a fun place with a fun atmosphere. The beach nearby isn't the greatest and I would simply recommend this place for people who like to consume copious amounts of alcohol or a place to lay your head. Everyone at this hotel are genuinely nice people from the managers to the security perssonal.

Fun and Vibrant!

We had a weeks stay at Aegean Sky Hotel and loved it. Panos and Kostas (The Owner and the Manager) greeted us upon arrival and it was evident from the beginning that they both genuinely want you to have a great stay and make you feel very welcome. We stayed in a room by the pool. There is a pool bar which is open til about 1/2 in the morning which wasn't a problem for us but if you are planning on sleeping before this time and are a light sleeper I would recommend staying in a room away from the pool. There's a great vibe around the pool during the day and at night by the bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable and are cleaned daily. There are kitchen facilities within the rooms if you feel like self catering otherwise there's food on offer from the bar. The gyros are amazing! (This is the only food I had here). Note the majority of the guests at the resort were fairly young, I'd say 18-24 range, having said that there were a couple of families with teenage kids staying at the resort along with a few more mature couples. This is to be expected though given Malia is quite the party town! We're not really in to partying but we really enjoyed it the atmosphere of both the resort and the town. If you're looking for a fun, happy place to stay where you can relax by the pool by day and enjoy a few drinks and music in the evening I'd highly recommend staying here.

Where all the young British tourists go

The place was fine for one night. The owners couldn't be any more friendly; very welcoming and even bought us a round of drinks when we first arrived. But be aware-This is a party hotel! Situated only a couple of blocks from the main party attractions, this hotel does it's best to keep you right on the premises. The outdoor pool bar is open until 2:00am, and it is packed! If you're looking for a restful nights sleep, this might not be the place to stay. Again, I would go back for one nigght or so. The party atmosphere doesn't bother me too much.

You really feel like family with this hotel. Panos, the manager, welcomes you and does everything possible to make you enjoy your stay. He even walked us to the bus station the next morning for our flights home. Very clean hotel, visually appealing, and super friendly staff.

Hotel très propre et personnel charmant . Tout le monde fait des efforts pour parler français mais attention l’hôtel est divisé en quatre petits Etablissements et seulement le Aegean Sky n°1 est à coté de la piscine.Pour ma part c'est le seul petit bémole . Soirée Crétan animée par Panos le samedi soir fut un bon moment . Pour nous ce fut un super séjour et je recommande à tout le monde la visite de la Crète pour son calme et le charme de ses habitants.

Nice hotel but small bathroom

We were very welcomed by Panos and his staff. With the check-in we were asked to take part of a bbq then we get the wifi for free. When you take part of the bbq you get a t-shirt and a bracelet. But we did not want the bbq. For some people it is nice but not for us.

Hotel was nice. Great swimming pool but no parasol with the pool beds. Service at the bar was very pleasant. Happy hour at 22.00 till 01.00 was very nice. Nice to have was the refrigerator in the room.

The showertray in the room was broken and it was difficult to get into the shower because it was very small only 70 cm. It is made for small size persons. Very hard single beds. The lamp in the room kept flikkering although the lights were off.

Très joli hôtel nous étions logés dans les bâtiments principaux, proche de tout, piscine, centre ville, bar et clubs. Les chambres / studio sont spacieuses. Mais le vrai plus a été les gens sur place. C'est un hôtel familial et ils nous ont fait nous sentir comme à la maison. Ils nous manquent déjà!

Tyckte om hotellets struktur med 4 olika byggnader och där poolbaren var samlingspunkten på kvällen för den som ville ha kul. Man kunde också beställa frukost vid poolbaren på morgnarna.

Grazioso hotel a conduzione familiare

Abbiamo soggiornato all'Aegean Sky in coppia e abbiamo scelto una camera con angolo cottura. Le camere sono di dimensione gradevole e la pulizia e' adeguata. L'angolo cottura non e' particolarmente attrezzato ma comunque utile. Il personale e' molto accogliente e disponibile. Sono tutti sorridenti e sprigionano energia. Sono stati molto utili nel fornire possibili itinerari per i nostri giorni di vacanza.

Solo per giovani - Only for young peoples

Si arriva all'edificio N°2 dove fino alle ore 23,00 alla reception non c'è nessuno ma se tornate fuori vedrete che sull'anta destra della porta di ingresso c'è un foglio che in inglese dice ai nuovi ospiti di raggiungere la reception alla struttura N°1
All'arrivo, con modi molto gentili e fin troppo amichevoli (come il gatto e la volpe) ci è stato proposto/appioppato, allo stesso prezzo, un cambio di camera a loro dire più grande e confortevole (4 posti invece che due) con letto matrimoniale al posto di due singoli perchè la camera da noi prenotata serebbe stata più lontana e non essendo noi dei ragazzini, preferivano \"rimetterci\" pur di saperci comodi... Purtroppo però quella che doveva essere una camera con vista giardino è diventata una camera(201) con vista strada sul punto di raduno/arrivo di tutti i gruppi e battuta dal sole per tutta la giornata.
Ci hanno chiesto se volevamo l'aria condizionata, abbiamo risposto con aria stupita che ci risultava compresa nei sevizi forniti. Hanno detto che non era così e che costava €10 al giorno ma per 2 settimane, ci facevano € 120 Non ho potuto dimostrare la mia ragione perchè sulla stampa della prenotazione non c'erano indicazioni al riguardo ma poi al rientro ho verificato che avevo ragione. L'impianto funzionava a malapena ed era insufficente considerando l'esposizione al sole dall'alba al tramonto. una notte non si è neanche acceso e dormire con le finestre aperte è impossibile a causa del caos giovanile notturno.

Séjour de 14 nuits dans cet hôtel situé à proximité immédiate de la rue destinée aux sortie nocturnes, sans en percevoir les nuisances.
Les responsables de l'hôtel savent se mettre à niveau pour des personnes qui ne maîtrisent pas totalement l'anglais (langue parlée par couramment par les Crétois), le Grec étant presque inaccessible pour les non initiés.
Excellente ambiance entre les responsables de l'hôtel et la clientèle.
Fête organisée chaque samedi soir. Repas + démonstration de danses folkloriques Crétoise.

Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Echter in het hoogseizoen zit het vol met Engelse jongeren incl happy hour etc.

Hôtel davantage adapté aux 16/25 ans.\n

L'adresse indiquée sur le site n'est pas la bonne. L'hôtel se trouve à Malia et non à Hersonisos. Galère de taxi à 23h30, car le trajet aéroport-hôtel n'était pas compris dans le forfait (50€ de taxi).
Le personnel est sympathique, mais le public est très jeune, type grand ado. Ambiance quad, musique à toute puissance sur fond d'alcool.
Du coup, nous avons juste utilisé l'hôtel pour dormir, après avoir pris soin de demander au patron de nous placer dans une chambre plus calme et éloignée de la piscine.
Il est tout de même important de signifier que toute la ville est orientée sur cette ambiance que certains peuvent trouver \"festive\" et que ce n'est pas l'hôtel à lui seul qui veut ça.
Pour profiter de la Crête, il est donc impératif de s'éloigner de ce village et de des alentours...
Il reste à préciser que le patron compréhensif et aidant met tout ce qu'il peut en œuvre pour répondre aux demandes.

Albergo diffuso eccelente.

Albergo poso alla piccola perififeria di Maila sufficentemente lontano dal casino notturno dei ragazzi inglesi ubriachi.
PANOS e COSTANTINO sono eccellenti albergatori che con la moglie e i figli di PANOS sanno accogliere con calore i loro ospiti fornendo un'ottima assistenza. Purtroppo Malia è un pezzo di Inghilterra in Creta. I locali sono a misura di giovane inglese dai 16 ai 25 anni. Per trovare un locale dove poter mangiare greco e non patatine fritte e altre porcherie inglesi si deve uscire da Malia o andare nel centro storico. Il mare e stupendo. Consigliamo l'affitto di un'autovettura a costi buoni e farsi un giro nell'entroterra di Creta.
