I stayed here as a pit stop before my friends wedding. The room was clean, hotel is dated but it was fine overall for one night. The bathroom plumbing was a bit iffy but good enough! Overall, good place to spend a night or two, pleasant staff as well.

We had a nice view out the window(the roof and walls for the drive under entrance) basically a wall 3’ in front of our window.. AC knobs needed fixing, bed was squeaky. Lobby smelt like burning incense or pot everytime we came in or out. No smoking in rooms though.I understand it’s upstate NY, but didn’t see and service personnel
During our stay either .business is lucky their really isn’t any competition close by

The Expedia description said breakfast is included, but, there is no breakfast. The manager simply said Super 8 motels haven't done breakfast in a long time. I wanted to tell him I stayed in a Super 8 only a few days early and it had breakfast, but didn't want to start an argument. But hey, there is a McDonalds across the street and you can grab breakfast there.

The real reason I am ranking this 3 stars is one, there was a used wet towel in my room (hanging on the hook behind the bathroom door). I mean, the room had been cleaned, but the used towel was a bit creepy.

And then there are also people who live there, long-term guests of New York state substance abuse rehab program. So, that was also a bit creepy.

It _is_ a Super 8 and not the Hilton, but potential guests should know this stuff.

Had been a basic but satisfactory and economical option up until this last visit. The only positive thing I can say at this point is that there is ample, convenient parking.

The property is very basic. The bathtub fixtures need work. The toilet was balanced with a piece of wood and the tub faucet practically fell out.

There ws no shampoo in the bathtub dispenser.

Very dark room, two inadequate lights.

The description says something about a breakfast but there was nothing at all and a sign in the lobby that says \"no breakfast\".

Not a terrible stay, but the place is in need of some basic repairs and attention to some details.

The hotel rooms smelled like cigarette smoke although there was a no smoking policy.
The room was poorly lit, complete lack of lighting and light switches were poorly placed.
Bed was very hard, and pillows were outdated and lumpy.
It was a place to sleep for the night but won’t stay there again.

Very dissappointed with our stay, the heater made a loud rumbliing noise and made it impossible to sleep. The lobby smelt like someone was smoking cannibus everytime we went though to enter or exit. There wasn't even coffee available.

There is NO breakfast here, despite Expedia offer a lower price without breakfast and a higher price with breakfast. Do NOT pay the higher price and expect breakfast.

Room was old, but it had a comfortable bed and the heat worked well, which is all I needed on this frigid weekend.

Never have I paid so much for so little. Other than clean, this motel had nothing. We booked on Expedia. When we asked to transfer rooms we were told because we had (inadvertently) booked the accessibility room we had to pay to change. The accessibility room had one double bed, the curtains were falling down and had an unpleasant odour. We paid, but not happily.

Good enough place, good location

Had to be in 1000 Islands Clayton to coach my wrestling team…I book last minute just in case any of the kids need a place to sta. Booked 2 rooms at Super 8 in Pulaski. Was about 50 minutes away, but everywhere closer was booked up. Glad I did. Cuz about 8 miles away is the Pond Pit BBQ restaurant, and the food was amazing! Great location. Friendly staff. Nice enough rooms and facility.
Only issue was the deposit. It’s the highest I’ve ever heard of…$250, PER ROOM…so there was a $500 hold on my credit card. Wasn’t an issue for me, but I could totally see it being an issue for others, so, BE AWARE…to stay, you’ll need to have an additional $250 freed up on a card.

Will not stay again, would rather drive home.

3/2/24 First, on line says Check in at 2:00. Sign at desk says 3:00. After a slow check in process. Got room 115. Upon entering the room, the heater/AC unit was squeaking like crazy, speed changes to it made no difference. I can not sleep with that noise. Asked for new room. Got 206. Smoke detector was torn out (was either in this room or the first room, can't remember which, I immediately reported it to front desk). Hair dryer had many old long hairs sticking out of its intake vent. Toilet was wobbly, sink faucet was loose. Pillows were so flat they were useless. Had asked for 2 more pillows at check in, never got them. Couldn't use shower, when we tried to lift the pull device it would not pull up, was like it was rusted in place. TV remote button info was worn off. I hesitated to stay here because of various Bed Bug reports and numerous bad reviews, but had no choice at the point I booked. Never again. Will make the drive home rather than staying here. The positives: It was quiet, and we got lucky with no bug bites in our room (I brought large plastic bags to keep our luggage in). When I told the guy at checkout about all the room problems, no discount was offered. I didn't argue it, didn't bother with their crummy breakfast, I just wanted to go home and shower. Maids should be checking this stuff and giving a report to management, if they did, management obviously doesn't care, probably have a built in survivable income with the big salmon fishing season in the area.

Misleading Info

The hotel description on the website is misleading; it claims to provide breakfast, but in reality, the hotel does not offer it. I booked the hotel specifically for breakfast, and had I known, I would have booked a nearby hotel that is much cheaper without breakfast. We have to check out early and search for breakfast shops before starting our journey. I should have called the hotel before checking in. I have used hotels.com to book hotel so many times, but not anymore. :-(

Housekeeping never came to our room… No one was ever at the desk…. We left early ( on Sunday) as there wasn’t even a clean towel to be had….

I asked about shortening our stay, because we came up to go fishing but the weather was going to be horrible horrible for later part of stay…. I was told to contact Expedia… which I did…. Expedia told me because we paid at the hotel we’d have to talk to hotel…. For two days tried finding anyone who worked at hotel to no avail.

Would never recommend staying here again….

On the outside, the hotel looks fine. We walked into the lobby and it smelled of pot. The person behind the counter told me that there would be a charge for smoking inside the hotel (I don't smoke), and laughed as apparently she just finished smoking something (I'm guessing it was her). Even with a reservation, it took 10 minutes to check in as she struggled with finding us a room and couldn't process my credit card, took her a few times. Later we saw her sleeping in the chair when we walked by. Our room was dirty - mold in bathroom, hair in tub, faucet about to come off of the sink, dirty vents. The heater was very loud when it ran. I positively would look for other places to stay.
