The room had an order like musty, the bath tub had a crack in the center, the microwave smelled unclean , one of the double beds sounded like it was broken whenever you sat down. The towels were clean but very rough. Would not recommend to anyone.

This room was disgusting. Smeled like cigarettes and crap.
Carpet is stained and not a clean room. Sheets had stains blanket was smelly and had food on it. We will not ever stay here again. Meth addicts outside watch your stuff!
In the morning the so called cleaning lady knocks and walks right in even if your not in your room wirh 5he do not disturb on the door. Dont stay here

Overall it worked.

We checked in at 9:30 pm and he gave us a different room than I requested. I reserved the king bed but he gave us a different one. It was too late at night and we were tired so I didn’t worry about it. The towels were hand towel size but there were enough to get dry..

Great place to stay. Been staying there for years and never had any issues. Its clean and they are very accommodating. The area is very convenient for us fisherman. Gas station, food and mini golf right across the street or only a few minute drive to Pulaski. This is no five star hotel but for what I need it works.

I like the old style setting of being able to park directly in front of your door. Reserved a king size bed and got 2 double beds even though only a few rooms were being used. Arrived 4:30pm and the room was not ready. Was told there was no tv remote but promised me they would get one. Hours later had to go to the desk to find out where it was, then wait for a manager to be contacted and come. Toilet has an elongated bowl but with a standard length seat, looks very weird. No shampoo available. Could easily be a nice place but poorly managed. Room also had a smell, not overly strong but obvious.,

The fast and easy availability when the super 8 in Pulaski intentionally cancelled on day of check in..my reservation that I booked 8 mos before…then proceeded to tell me that a room has available for 3x the price of my orig reservation!!! Port lodge motel which I stayed at before, was right there with a room and it was cheaper than my orig reservation at “8”!!! Great place is the Port Lodge Motel!!

When I booked on line, I booked a king bed and paid for a king. When we entered the room it was two double beds. At this point we were so exhausted from our travels that day I did not go back to the desk and ask for a refund. The beds were comfortable and it was cool in the room. Did not have hot running water.

Rooms are in very bad shape. Holes in bedding, carpet coming up, electrical socket cover popping out of wall, TV remote doesnt work.

No micowave.

Stayed two nights, housekeeping entered room after first night , despite not hanging tag asking (i dont want someone potentislly going throigh belongs, thanks)

The property’s exterior is nice, you walk in and smell Indian spices, and the actual room has stinky old smoke smell when the room is no smoking. Very outdated… but that’s what you get for the money. Bed was comfy, but you could tell the mattress was old, bathroom was missing a knob on the sink. Water was hot though, my husband said he felt like he was scalded. You pay for what you get at this place….

Hey its not a luxury hotel, but it puts a warm roof over ur head, theres a microwave and a mini fridge, cable tv, a shower, a nice comfy bed, its clean. I can be with my fish in comfort and its affordable, I am ecstatic !

The hotel is a great deal. However there are often people fighting and up late night. The place smells like cigarettes. The lights often don’t work and there are remnants of previous guests on the walls and furniture and such. Rooms are super dated. Staff is friendly and bed linens are clean, the rooms are tended to daily (tip your housekeeper!) like I said, it’s a good deal but don’t expect 4 Seasons.

Was in Pulaski for a fishing weekend. Hotel was very conveniently located. Wifi was spotty, but after 12 hours on the lake just ate and slept. No frills, but great location.

Do not stay here.

Receptionist at the counter was pleasant. The entire place truely needs to be gutted and redone. Absolutely terrible conditions. Mold, musty odor, dirty, broken, worn out, patch work, xouns and hair under sherts of made bed, blood on wall of one room out of the three. Grills in front were not stable enough to cook on at all. One ac unit did not work, windows had no screens and there was also full time assisted living in some of the rooms.

Positives were we didn't see any bugs, towels and siap were plenty and water was hot.

Book them directly, not through a 3rd party website as you’ll not get a refund if you leave early. This is a fishing lodge, good enough for fishermen to crash; not suitable for families or vacations. No bathtub, no closet, pool does not work, playground is swampy and full of trash. Mosquitoes everywhere.

This place is horrible. Our toilet seat was broken, the sink had only 1 usable faucet. The pkace reeks of stale smoke. Air conditioner was a window unit and was very loud and dirty. The towels are stained and have no threading. The outdoors is lettered with broken furniture. The picnic area had no usable grills and the tables were broken and rotting. The pool is for owner use only not for patrons. The decking is nice but no chairs or seating area. No refunds are given and it's obvious why.

We left without staying any nights. Rooms are labeled as non-smoking but the rooms smell of smoke. We couldn't open the windows because the screen was broken and it looked out over a patio where people can smoke. The side entrance was propped open with a chair and cigarette ashcan.

Staff was very friendly and inviting. They made sure we had everything needed. Room was large and clean. I will advise that if you are staying with your wife get the double twins as the Single Queen is small and uncomfortable if the two of you are staying on it. Shower was very small but for the price, i'd stay there any day.

I went to check in the evening that I had booked for and there was no one there to allow me to check in. I was forced to take my 2 daughters to another town and book another hotel room. Plus I still got charged for the Port Lodge. I contact them and no one gets back to me. I just keep getting voice mail.

Very basic. For a non-smoking establishment it smells just like a dirty ashtray. In fact one evening the hallway actually was filled with cigarette smoke. Usually quiet except when the proprietors child decides its time to play football in the hallway. for another 10 bucks I could have stayed at the Super 8, which is the plan from now on.

Sitting in rural area near wonderful tourist spots this old gal is like sleeping in a classic car. Everything is retro but reasonably acceptable. Except no amenities... not even coffee. Heck, the vending machine was out of order. Pool out of order. Wifi spotty, tv glitchy, ac antiquated. There is mini putt, go carts and a gas station across the highway with long hours, beer, hot food and fudge to die for. The owners were friendly enough, but a free coffee would have made a nice gesture to make me return. I would return, if necessary, to the Retro Motel.

Shower and bathroom clean, but no space to put anything or not one hook to hang clothes or towel. Shower head very poor.... AC cool enough but very noisy. Put fruit in refrigerator and it froze, thus spoiling it. Entry way stairs in terrible condition with loose strips.

The pictures of this property need to be seriously updated. I chose this facility due to the pool and play structures available for my granddaughter. The bathroom that was part of the first room we had in the main lodge was very small and air conditioner was very noisy. We moved to a cabin on the outskirts of the lodge and found that to be larger over all and quieter, including the air conditioner.

The staff were very helpful and nice. The housekeeper stopped by to ask if we needed anything since we had our Do Not Disturb sign on door. We had an issue with mold and were allowed to pick a different room. That being said, many of the rooms were what you'd expect from an old, lake-side motel - the only issue was the mold and the floors were dirty. Beds were comfortable and sheets clean

***BOOKERS BEWARE***When trying to check in we had to \"ring bell for service\". It took 10-15 minutes for someone to come to the desk. While standing there we had a chance to look around. Everything was very dark and smelled musty. Before giving us the key to the room they went to make sure the room had been cleaned. Before bring in bags (or the kids) my friend and I wanted to check the room because of the over all \"feeling\" of the place. We pulled back the sheets and blankets the sheets were stained and definitely dirty. After looking closer we found some sort of crusty substance. I cringe to even guess what it was. We immediately told them we wouldn't be staying. I was told that we couldn't have our money back but at that point we chose to sleep on the floor at a family members house with or without a refund. After contacting Expedia I was told that management said the room looked fine to them and that I had said I was going to stay with family. I was not given a refund but I'd rather lose the money then stay at that rat hole.

I will never stay here again. If I hadn't prepaid I wouldn't of stayed this time. The place was dirty and nasty. Sheets and towels stained looked like they had never been washed. There was an aweful bad Indian food smell going on. When you used the microwave the tv shut off. Don't recommend for any family. Should be removed from web sight.

I have stayed here for a night and honestly I am so happy I found this place. I will start from check in-manager in the lobby gave us our room keys!!! Beautiful lobby with coffee machine. The room was lovely, super clean with most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! and OMG love they pillows!!!:))) bathroom with shower very clean. Happy with my stay -acually sad to leave!

The hotel look was exactly what we expected. It was a fishing vacation hotel. Not beautiful or fancy at all. We would have been very satisied to stay there as we haf a fridge, microwave and comfy beds. Unfortunately what we did not have was customer care. Our toilet did not work and when our 17 year old said something she was given a plunger. The toilet was not clogged, it was broken. They did finally fix it but then we spent 5 nights there and not 1 time was our room cleaned. No vacuum, no clean towels left (we had to bring our old ones into the hallway and get new ones ourselves). Again we were fishing everyday. Showers were not an option. The air conditioner did not work. It was loud and blew warm air. Very disappointed for the price we paid.

Don’t expect too much and you’ll be happy.

Booked room for a long weekend of fishing. Just needed a clean room, bed and place for hot shower. Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. The condition of the rooms was very poor. Sparkle patches left unpainted, small holes in walls where shelves or brackets were. Carpets not vacuumed well. Bathroom exhaust vent and air conditioning unit covered in noticeable layer of dust. Old wooden toilet seat, very outdated fixtures... but floor in bathroom was newer??!! Understand owners may not be able to remodel but rooms should still be cleaned and vacuumed well. Positive side; Shower was hot, full size fridge, bed was comfortable.
