The property is designed well and very beatiful. I saw some areas of disrepair, such as the shower stall in my room C608, which leaked water on the floor eachbtime someone took a shower.

The ataff was excellent. They were always friendly, polite and ready to assist in any way. Entrrtainment was also good and choice of foods was good. I paticularly liked the Jamaican food day that we had.

I was disappointed that the second pool was not available the whole entire 4 days. They was currently repairing around the pool area. The property all around was very clean including the bathrooms. My boyfriend and I did a couples massage. Excellent. Spa area was inviting and relaxing. From the spa reception, to the locker room staff, and our massage therapists it was an amazing experience!! We had an oceanfront room and inside our bedroom was a slide door that lead outside to the balcony and what a gorgeous view we had. Our one bedroom suite came with a full kitchen, living room, one walk-in closet with a safe inside, 2 bathrooms, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the room, cold drinks inside the refrigerator, and a coffepot with coffee provided. The breakfast buffet every morning from 7-10am was while staffed and there was always plenty of food. Transportation was available which, cost from and to the resort $40 each time. Definitely will rent a car next time! Nightclub on-site 10pm-1pm my boyfriend and i enjoyed it. I want to give a huge shout out to all the staff but especially to TACKESHIA, TERESA, M&M (BEACH AREA), KEISHA (BEACH AREA), MARVIN, KADIAN, TAHEEM!! PEACE AND BLESSINGS! Beware when it comes to making reservations through a 3rd party website because our flight was delayed the first day so my boyfriend and I arrived a day later to the resort and expedia had canceled our reservation. We tried to contact the resort but found out we was given the wron #

This place did not live up to our expectations for an AI resort in Jamaica. Food and drinks were not great. Pool layout is not convenient and it was not kept clean enough. The kids play room was dated and boring though the lady there was great and played well with our son. The beach was a huge letdown. They did not keep it clean and tidy like other resorts do. Very sparse service on the beach too. This place was not wheelchair accessible. I messaged the property before our stay about being in the most wheelchair accessible building and they literally never even responded. The spa prices were high and since the rest of the property did not live up to our standards we didn’t even waste money on the spa treatments. Also our pull out bed had no mattress and was had to wait hours for one to be delivered. It didn’t fold into the couch so we had to have a giant mattress leaning against the wall the whole time if we wanted to use the tiny couch. It was the only seating aside from the dinner table and one very uncomfortable chair. We did have butler service and they did try to take good care of us.

Water in our room was turned off 3 times. Usually only 2-3 dining options at evening. The white wine choices for all inclusive were horrible. No entertainment other than karaoke or DJ. Great poolside, bar, room maid and all staff! Best meal by far was at Three Palms.

We were really excited to stay here after reading so many great reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t match what we expected. We stayed for six days, and not once did anyone offer us drink service on the beach. On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, an employee walked by and asked if he could take the empty glasses from the drinks we had brought from the pool bar earlier. When the waiter was asked if he could take them, he said, “I can’t.” That really surprised us. We paid for an all-inclusive stay, but it didn’t feel that way — every time we wanted a drink, we had to go get it ourselves. The only person at the entire resort who consistently treated us wonderfully was Lacey at the shop. She was incredibly kind and helpful — we even spent almost $700 on gifts for our family because of her great service. Thank you again, Lacey, for all your help!

I really appreciate the privacy of the property, as it offers a secluded and peaceful environment. The room was large, measuring approximately 400 square feet, and had plenty of natural light flowing through the big windows, making it feel even more spacious and inviting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jewel Grande. The resort was well kept and the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was very nice and spacious with an amazing view of part of the resort and the ocean. The food was excellent everywhere we ate from the breakfast buffet to the lunch options and finally the dinners. It was peaceful and had the feel of a private resort and beach. We had an amazing time and we certainly come back.

Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa was beautiful! The staff were welcoming and always nice. We really enjoyed our staff. The only issue we encountered during our stay was the restaurant options. One of the restaurants was not open throughout our stay, and another one was closed during the time it was scheduled to be open. The establishment only has a total of 4, not including the buffet, and the majority of the restaurants weren't open until after 5 pm. Since we stayed for 4 days, we would have loved to have been able to experience the variety of restaurants we booked the resort for. Other than that, we enjoyed our time and would recommend anyone looking for a laid-back resort to relax.

전반적으로 스탭들도 친절하고 음식도 맛있었다. 하지만 우리가 묵었던 빌딩에 공사소음과 먼지가 심했다. 컴플레인을 했고 원활한 커뮤니케이션이 되었고 즉시 옮겨주었다. 하지만 옮겨진 방은 청소가 잘 되어있지 않아 문 뒷쪽에 먼지 가루들이 있었고, 샤워커튼에는 곰팡이가 있었다. 1박만 할거라서 컴플레인하지 않았다.
예정되어있던 낮 데일리 이벤트들은 숙박객들이 적고 호응도가 낮아서 진행되지 않았다. 많이 아쉬웠다.
이탈리안 레스토랑이 아주 좋았고, 스테이크하우스는 실망이었다. 가족 모두 스테이크 굽기를 미디움으로 요청했지만 모두 웰던으로 나왔다.

So much compliments for this resort and its amazing staff. From the time we arrived, until the tme we left, all our experiences surpassed our expectations!!! I wish I could name all the staff we came in contact with, but time won't allow it. The fisrt staff were the front desk staff, and they were amazing. Anthaniel and his co-worker (sadly I forgot her name) were first contact with your resort, and from there on, the bar was set very high! We knew we had picked a \"20 🌟\" establishment! Immediately after that first encounter, our second was with the personable, kind, patient, with no other than Mr. Vernon, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome! He helped in making us feel so welcome, from the time we checked in, until the time we checked out. What an amazing asset to your great establishment! Moving on to your food staff: Nekeshia, gave us our first insight to what an amazing dining staff you have on property. She attended to all our dining request with such grace and charm. She always checked on us to make sure our dining needs were met. What a sweetheart! Another amazing dining staff is no other rhan Miss Vanessar.She went above her duties to make sure we were satisfied guests! We felt like we were the only guests dining at that moment. Quiet and relaxing resort. The beach is beautiful as well as the property. The pools were always clean. We felt safe and welcomed. The food was very good at all of the resturants. The staff was always friendly and accommodating with a smile. I would return and will recommend to my friends and family. They even sent a nice surprise plate of desserts to our room for our anniversary. It was all very nice and even with it being a large resort all of the staff treats you like they know you.

The Resort staff are great and very very nice. The resort is the issue we got our room and the AC was out at night it was 82-84 degrees in the room. Call the front desk twice and both times it seems like all the maintenance person did was turn the unit on. I advised that I did that and they said to give it 30 minutes and call back if still having an issue. My wife and I has to sit on the balcony to get cool. At 12am I called back and was told nothing could be done and we would have to call at 8am to get help to change to another room. We changed the room and it was much better and the fan that was in the second was working also. dinning was so so food is good but 2 of the restaurants were closed for the weekend. when i asked about it it seemed like I was in the wrong for wanting an answer when they don't have hour of operation for the restaurants. The drinks were all virgin drinks when made I had to tell the bartender to add Rum or Vodka to the drinks. For us it was a 4-10 for us and we wanted to have a renewal wedding here that won't happen and not recommending to anyone else to stay at the Jewel Grand.

I love the peaceful walking trails around the property. I like that most of the staff was nice. I also like you were not approached to buy stuff like timeshares, or excursions. That was nice. The service however, was very very slow. The rooms need to be checked before given a key. Our show head was broke, we didn't have a clock in our room, we were there for 5 days and on my husband side of the sink, the day we left he still didn't have cold water, just hot. The person cooking the jerk chicken on the beach Friday, 8/29 was either drunk or high, because he was serving raw chicken to everyone. He was very incoherent, slurring his words. I did report it.

I arrived on Monday, the lobby was very warm. This immediately made me question my choice of resort as we were checked in by kind staff. We were advised to grab some lunch before our room was ready. We decided to venture and go to the buffet for lunch. Here at the buffet, we found ourselves questioning our choices again. We were greeted by a sweet lady who showed us our table and then we waited for our server to get our drinks. Looking at the buffet options we found ourselves not 100% in love with the options the options available pepper steak, fruit salad that was not on ice rice and beans regular white rice other stations with like curry, chicken and other options. The food was OK the first day the second day once we knew what we were doing. The breakfast buffet was so much better than the lunch buffet. You have omelette station you have hashbrowns toasted bread station again, fruits, and mango. I was very excited for the Mango which was replenished every so often very few pieces in my opinion, but I understand they also had a yogurt station again, traditional Jamaican dishes for breakfast. The best part of the resort was the beach, even though there was some seaweed which is understandable but the staff with daily be cleaning the seaweed as much as they couldI enjoyed the steakhouse for dinner, and I also enjoyed the hibachi one thing that I found very difficult to deal with was that none of these restaurants had good AC which made my dining experience very warm.

I was expecting more for the price we paid. Instead, I didn’t even feel welcome when we arrived. I’ve paid less for hotels and still received better service and treatment. The front desk agent was good, as were a few others, but overall I sometimes felt discriminated against.

The area is good, very well located. I’ve been to the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Cartagena, and more, even the Grand Princess was exceptional. For the price I paid at the Jewel, I could have gotten much more elsewhere.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a 3 week tour of Jamaica. It’s a well kept, safe resort with excellent amenities. The staff are the best thing about this hotel, so kind friendly and welcoming. The food is good, the buffet for me has the nicest authentic food and the jerk hut. Breakfast options were lovely, as was the cafe. Booking dinner tables isn’t easy, they should have more options open. Charging for room service is unfair as if you can’t get a dinner table you don’t have much choice! The beach has a lot of seaweed, definitely not the nicest beach was saw in Jamaica but it’s shallow and warm.

A few of our items “mysteriously” disappeared. We found our house keeper with one of our toothpicks in her mouth while cleaning our villa, speaks volumes. We are now left with an investigation to follow up on and an unforgettable experience for all the wrong reasons. Will not be returning.

I would like to begin with the excellent service from the staff on all levels. It began upon arrival at the entrance until throughout the entire resort!
Food options were great thru the entire stay and was excellent! Very clean resort and the grounds were kept very nice. The living conditions were great and the bed was very comfortable. The fact that I had to wait on bath linens until after 10 p.m. was absolutely ridiculous and the fact that I called 4 times starting at 7 p.m. and no one seemed to give a F, didn't sit well, especially when I kept letting them know that I had an event to go to, so my guests was unable to attend the event with me for that reason. At the morning of check-out, complained about it and the nonchalant attitude was amazingly disrespectful. Especially having to drag luggage to the 1st building to check-out, because no golf cart was available to transport us.👎

My family and I loved our stay at Jewel Grande even though there were some things they need to improve. First, the staff were excellent. They were kind, friendly and very helpful. Our butlers Denton and Aston were wonderful. We were celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday and Aston went out of his way to decorate our room and door. He also had the staff at the restaurant sing Happy Birthday to her and present her with a cake. They made sure we had transportation anywhere we wanted to go. They were great! Security was great also. We felt very safe. Our only concerns were housekeeping, the condition of the room and the air conditioning. The room was huge and we loved the space but the room was not clean to ou liking. The floors were dirty and the cushions on the patio furniture had large stains. The bedroom windows were very dirty. As if they've never been cleaned. We requested to have the cushions changed but housekeeping never changed them even though they said they would. The room only got a little cool at night. During the day the room was only slightly cooler than outside. They tell you to keep the patio doors closed but that doesn't help. There was only one elevator working and the areas near the elevator was extremely hot. They need to invest in updating the entire property not just one building. Transportation was also an issue. There was only one (stiflingly hot) elevator for the entire building. The first room (that they made us wait over 3 hours for) was dirty, loud, and uncomfortable. We asked that they switch our room (and they did). That room was ok, but the hot water was limited and the toilet broke. The food in the restaurants take an extremely long time to come out when ordered. Overall, I would never come back, but the staff tried and helped where they could.

Pros:

Beautiful and gorgeous property. Food, drinks, and service were spectacular. The staff and service were top notch and I cannot say enough about the quality and taste of the food. 10 out of 10

Cons:

Engineering staff were called at least 3 times to my guest room.
1. Air conditioning did not cool room.
2. Hot water went out then water went out entirely.
3. Shower head broke and was replaced.

Engineering visits daily for a very short stay. However, Responses to my concerns were prompt and service was friendly.

Overall room and view were gorgeous and the food was delicious and memorable.

Staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful.

As a first time visitor to your property I have a few concerns about the quality of service delivered. First i chose your property for a specific event i was attending which i missed due to no bath clothes delivered to the room. I requested new towels/bath clothes at 10am, a bundle was delivered but not completely. We called front desk to make them aware only to be told there were not barh clothes becausebthe laundry truck had broke down. The rrom we stayed in C806 the air vents were clogged causing insufficient air flow in a very hot/humid climate this is unacceptable. And to have no shuttle/taxi avaiable at check out leaving us to have to walk with all luggage to the front from building C. A very unpleasant experience and front desk Nieme was very nonchalant about our concerns.

The property is gorgeous but the staff at the restaurants was rude and cleaning (sweeping) while people are eating is nasty. They charge 10.00 every time for room service, didn’t clean the room 2 days and the resort has no elevator for guess that go to the ground level where the pools and beach is located. Dining limited greenery so your eating mostly meat and a couple time cabbage.

Very nice property, human size, well maintained and clean in general. Staff was very very friendly and helpful. 9 year old had a great time at the kids club. Shout out to the ladies running it - they're fantastic with kids. Room was good with a beautiful ocean view; only complaint was the sofa-bed which required a serious upgrade - very uncomfortable for the kid. Food was very good with lots of options. Had a treatment at the spa which was very well done. Swimming in the sea was a real treat; shallow entrance, lots of available transats, cabana option. Overall a great experience. We will go back.

The property was beautiful! However, the initial room that we were given was hot and the refrigerator did not work. Our only options were to either stay in this room, or be split into two rooms. We choose the two rooms for the air conditioner and working refrigerator. This was very inconvenient to not have my family together at night. We are however thankful to have been in cool rooms instead of the hot one. Otherwise, the property was great!

The property is old, dated and has a musty smell. The AC and mini fridge went out at night which caused me to feel extremely nauseous and couldn't property store my medicine. The staff was great but the restraunrants were hot as well. It was not comfortable to eat and the flies were alot. I unfortunately had to leave and lost all my money. It wasn't a great experience.

Property needs updates. There is NO AC in the common areas. The hibachi restaurant had great food but the restaurant itself needs to be updated badly. It was as hot as an oven in there which made the entire experience pretty miserable. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was convenient and spacious. The food was lacking. The service was great. The staff was great. The beach had a lot of seaweed but that’s pretty normal for the area. Overall a 7/10
