Does Expedia know?

Couldn't believe the stay. Lack of concern. Even paid for what called \"superior\" so could get a window (you will not otherwise).

I don't know if lack of regard, but next room said was discusting as well.
No one to care (busy watching stock exchange . Could invest in room conditions!)

Never again.

But what you expect for 60usd /night? Not to get sick? Just give them money. Be glad.

The staff is not very responsive to my complaints. My room had an ant problem and many flies. Even when I left a food item in the refrigerator the ants got to it. After I complained about the ants they gave me a spray can for me to handle the problem myself. There are residents in the property and the kids were yelling and screaming around 1am at night. The refrigerator was unplugged when I first arrived and not functioning. The room only had one outlet behind the head of the bed. They did not change the bedsheets or service the room once in my 5 day stay unless I asked them to. The description listed a desk but I saw no desk whatsoever which I needed. It feels like a poorly run mom and pop property and I would not recommend or repeat again. It was at a discounted price but for the size and condition of the room, it wasn't worth it at all.

Don’t recommend.

We just flew in from Bali and needed to stay in Singapore for the night. So we chose this place as it was close to the hotel. There was over 7 spotted roaches my partner woke up with over 9 different bites from something on her arms and legs. If I could get a refund I would. Room is super small and the shower is connected to the toilet area.

It's a 2 Star hotel however I've never had such a small single room before.
I tried to alter my arrival date by one day and get a refund within the stated timeframe on Expedia but was refused despite it saying a full refund was available at time of booking. The hotel advised me, when I finally check-in a day later, that their policy did allow refunds. The hotel policy is opaque at best and Expedia were no help whatsoever when I challenged them on this. The helpdesk even lied to me about not being able to contact the hotel as they said the hotel had blocked the helpdesk - really! They then proceeded to phone them - it was farcial! They just wanted to get rid of me.
Buyer beware of both this hotel and Expedia

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Snow. The staff was warm and accommodating and although the unit was small and barebones, it was still cozy enough for my wife and I during our week stay in Singapore. I recommend anyone who desires a clean and inexpensive hotel in a multicultural town in Singapore to pay Hotel Snow a visit.

I had the cheapest single room in the hotel. Woke up to bites and the bathroom (toilet shower and toilet combo) was smaller than a cupboard. That said staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. Perhaps go for the best room next time.

the room was tiny. I couldn't turn the air con off.. the response from reception was a shrug of the shoulders. in a tiny room it was very loud and created a lot of wind. the shower room was tiny.. I had to stand on the toilet to shower!! oh and the wifi was ridiculously slow!

Horrible hotel.... Do not stay there.

When I arrived at the hotel, they said they were full, no rooms. I showed them my hotels.com reservation number, they said they had \"no rooms\". However, if I wanted to wait until 2 am, someone is supposed to check out. Since it was already 1:30 am, I decided to wait.

When I saw the room, I have as disgusted. Less than a 1 star. No windows, smoker obviously in the room before me in a no smoking room. Bathroom looked like someone sprayed water everywhere, did not dry it. I was afraidvto sit on the bed.

10 seconds later, I left, I knew I could not sleep there. Decided to walk into the night, and take my chances with any other hotel in the area.

This was a very cheap and nasty hotel room, which we booked to drop bags and have a place to change prior to a late night flight. As such I did not expect high quality, but also did not expect to find a moldy shower room with broken toilet seat, dirty walls, and general dirty condition. We were allowed early Check which was useful.

I stayed at Hotel Snow Lavender for more than a week in ‘Cozy Trendy Studio’. My room was about 5’ x 20’feet.

The room offered basic necessities which included air-con, hot water, clean bed, desk, and daily bottled water. It is also 8mins away from 2 MRT stations.

The hotel delivered a price point that was important for me in my visit and my stay was great due to that; however, there are several items that management can find room to improve.

The hotel is currently rated 2.5 stars, with gaps that made me feel worth 1.0 stars, such as,
no clothes hangers,
tiny sink (13inch),
sink located bedside a wall,
persistent noise of fire panel in hallway,
desk had no nearby power outlet,
no safe for personal belongings,
no refrigerator,
peeling paint,
a facility that can use thorough cleaning & maintenance.

If these are addressed, visitors will have a more comfortable stay and likely be a 3star hotel people will want to return to.

This hotel is very cheap, which will suit people on a budget. It is really close to Lavender MRT station and provides a good base to explore Singapore from.

Unfortunately, the low price comes at the cost of cleanliness and lack of amenities. For example, there was only one power point in the room, the desk was super small, and the bathroom sink looked like it was made for small children. The rooms were very run down with cobwebs and moulds. The only nice area of the hotel was the reception.

On the other hand, the staff members were very nice and accomodating. When I complained about my first room (which was filthy, had dirty linen, crawling with ants, and had a broken tap), the staff members immediately gave me a new room (which was slightly cleaner and marginally larger) with no fuss.

Consider not far from MRT. Either can choose downtown line or east west line mrt. 5mins walk you get fair price grocery shop or another way to food court. Single room ok but bathroom abit too small. Overall ok. No cockroach.

This is a budget hotel located near to Lavender station or Bendemeer Station on downtown line. Location is very quiet with few eateries around. Mustafa centre is just 10 minutes walk from this hotel. Nearby few eateries including Indian cuisine. As far as hotel considered we were allocated initially a room with very congested space, however, after complaining to Expedia we were given a decent room of the size of the double room. Staff is very courteous and polite. The room was cleaned daily. TV had only a few English channels and wi-fi was good. Overall, good option for budget travellers, who want to stay near little India. Just make sure you ask the hotel to provide the big size room.

Staff were mostly nice and provided me with a power adapter free of charge for the duration of my stay. Room had ants in it when I arrived which they apologized for and tried to remove, but they came back the next day. Granted it's Singapore but the ants were on a pullout tabletop, not on the ground as one would expect if it were purely related to the climate. The room was basically a twin bed and a bathroom. The one piece of furniture-- a fabric stool by the head of the bed--was stained and had hairs on it. At night people were noisy (unclear if other guests, other buildings, or what). But the price was affordable and the location was great.

Booked for 10 days (21 - 31 NOV 2018) - they give you fresh towel, wipe the floor and a 500ml water bottle everyday, they NEVER change bedsheet or clean toilet, PLEASE DONT TOUCH THE WALLS TOO. It's basically a brothel. \"FREE WIFI\" 0.3mb (I've checked) .... then disconnected - I use my own data.

Well located hotel - but extremely dirty.

Pros:

The hotel is well located, and staff are fairly friendly.

Cons:

The room was extremely dirty the entire time. When I arrived there were stains on my bed sheets, and hairs from previous guests all over the room including the towel. There was hundreds of ants on the floors and the walls. The room was so dirty that I had to call the manager up to my room and request it be cleaned. After this it was a bit cleaner but still quite dirty on the whole. Because of the insects and dirt, I felt very uncomfortable sleeping here.

I appreciate that a budget hotel won't have many facilities, but there is no excuse for not cleaning properly.

The hotel has a lot of potential. If it were clean and insect-free, it could be really good. But given how dirty it was, I don't think I would stay again.

You get what you pay for

This is a small budget hotel located conveniently near an MRT station.

Yes the room is very small and I could barely open my carry-on sized suitcase but I was expecting it from the time of booking. What I was not expecting was the condition of the bathroom. The mirror were filled with visible stain from previous guests brushing teeth. The faucet was covered with mold and I did not even want to touch it. The shower head was located literally just over the toilet. Another drawback is the air conditioner did not work very well and it took hours for it to get rid of the humidity.

In spite of those drawbacks, I feel that it would not be fair to compare this hotel to other ones in Singapore charging at least double its price. The bed was clean and comfortable. Wifi was free in the room and generally stable. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

To change the room I was forced to pay a fee. If I knew before renting, with the total amount I could have rented a better room in another hotel

The location is good for moving around, wherever you are headed there's usually a direct, frequent bus from the stop about 1 min walk from the hotel. It's also close to two MRT stations (about 5 mins' walk each), which works well for airport transfer. The area around the hotel itself is quiet but there are several kopitiams at nearby intersections, at least two convenience stores, and also some bars and restaurants.

The hotel appears recently renovated. There is an elevator and a key card system. Air conditioning was strong and clean. Water pressure and temperature were both good. Wi-Fi worked well enough for photo and video uploads. Bed was comfortable, and toiletries were provided. There was also a TV with all the usual free-to-air channels.

The three nights I stayed, the room was all quiet with no noise. The staff were friendly and very accommodating with all requests. Overall, I found this hotel great value for money.

Mold Infested Bedroom & Bathroom with Musty Odor

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed. The bedroom and bathroom are dirty, infested with mold,and have musty odor. The pillow cases, bed sheet, and comforter cover sheet are old, worn, and have stains. Seemed like all of my pillow cases and the cover sheets were not even changed. Seemed like only one pillow case out of the two and bed sheet were changed, but not the comforter cover sheet. The bed room I stayed have smudges on the walls, has dust on the edges of the floor, has mold on the ceiling, have fruit flies on the small stained table attached to the wall, and one ant running along the edges of the floor. The TV is also covered with dust on the edge. The dust was flying everywhere as soon as the AC was on. The bathroom has mold everywhere and very tiny. A tiny sink is placed between the wall and the pillar and I have to twist my body to use it every time. The shower head tiny nozzles are blackened and dirty. I tried to clean the shower head before using it without any success. I couldn't imagine staying in this mold infested dirty room and terribly regretted about it. This is the type of nightmare I try to avoid as an international traveler and wish not to encounter it.

This was the worst hotel we've ever stayed. Even some motels standard are better than this one. This 9sqm room has no windows (advertised with city views), not even an exhaust fan in the toilet for ventilation. The walls in the room were full of dirty marks, the toilet/shower room was so filthy. Ceiling and corners were full of mildew. They don't even provide the basic like tissue papers, only half a roll of poor quality toilet roll.

Great budget hotel, perfectly located.

Hotel Snow Lavender (the current name) has great potential. It comes with everything needed for a budget-stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, gives a home-like feeling, always welcoming and smiling. The current management is working hard to get everything in proper condition. They were very prompt in repairing the Water Heater once i informed them - Thanks for that. Would suggest to give more attention to Room and bedding/sheets Cleanliness. Both AC and WiFi worked great. Location is absolutely perfect for almost all purpose. Would surely consider for future stays.

This was my third stay at Hotel Snow. It's basic, but I find it quiet, safe and ok for a few nights. I like the area as there are plenty of food options within 5-10 mins walk, and I use the bus stops nearby. Room Cleanliness wasn't as good as my previous stays, but my room was comfortable. Yes it's small, but all I needed.

Stayed in the compact room with no window. The room was really tiny almost like a capsule except with private bath. Could barely stand with my luggage on the floor. Bathroom was also really tiny. Use this place only if you do not have big baggage and plan to sleep only for a night or two. Bring your own toiletries too. The only good thing is the location - near to city center

It's a very simple hotel with little rooms, but quite comfortable. The location is handy as it's near a LOT of different restaurants and a shopping mall with a cinema. It's also close to an MRT station. Also, the staff is very friendly. If you want a conveniently-located, no-frills, very affordable hotel, I can certainly recommend the Hotel Snow.

I had 3 nights in a single room at Hotel Snow.
It was basic, small and clean.
As expected based on other reviews I had read.
The staff were always friendly, helpful and kind.
The room was really so small though, so if you have luggage of any size it's not really suitable.
The bed was comfy and shower worked well.
It is within 10 minutes walk of Lavender MRT station.

Good budget hotel in the heart of Singapore

My overall experience at Hotel Snow was one of the best I've experienced. Though the rooms are indeed small & may not appeal to all, however let me assure you that it has great ambience, highest level of cleanliness (something which Singapore is well-known for), very polite & friendly staff, easily accessible location & nice places to hangout, all within a 10-15 min walking distance. You've got Burger King, McDonalds & various food outlets around Lavender Station MRT, 7-11 shop just around the corner & money exchange at the famous Hotel-V. This definitely makes up for the small room size. In my case I was leaving the hotel around 7 am & returning back by 8:30 pm. So for me, all that I needed was a cozy place to sleep, a nice shower at night & morning with good privacy - Hotel Snow offered me all that. You can also order your favourite Domino's Pizza......they'll come in 30 min right upto your room. So accessibility is very good here. You don't have to go much far to get the essential stuff you want.............plus, a Fair Price shop is just 2 min walk away !

I had a very good experience staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Manager and staff Bogs. The rooms were very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good hotel in a nice neighbourhood for such a reasonable price. The hotel is close to mrt station which makes it very attractive to business travellers.

The staff wasn't very helpful, receptionist didn't know much about where to go or do in terms of sightseeing.
The room was extremely small, and the AC was broken, can't turn it off.
The shower was right on top of the toilet- awkward position.
They don't have a luggage storage area.

Nice hotel near Lavender station

The experience was enjoyable. You get what you paid for, the rates are low so do not expect to get high quality experience when staying in this hotel. The staffs are nice, they will recommend you to nice places to eat near the accommodation. The room is small with a tiny bathroom, but it is large enough to have a small space for you to move around in. The bed was comfortable, not too hard and they provide you with basic essentials, like tooth bush, water and towel. They will replenish your drinking water and fresh towels when you are out exploring singapore. The only problem me and my girlfriend had with this hotel was that the room was not sound proof. You can hear everything in the outside corridor, foot steps of your neighbors and also television at full blast from the guy next door.

Nice Budget Hotel with nice & friendly staff

It was a pleasant experience staying at this budget hotel. It is close to lavender MRT and is at a walking distance from the Mustaffa Mall. Staying date was 2nd Mar'16 till 8th Mar'16

Great stay!

Room was tidy, clean and cozy with good service. Though quiet neighbourhood but has a variety of food stalls nearby! Short distance walk to reach Lavender MRT station and within walking distance to Bugis street. Definitely a great stay!

Claustrophobia test site

The room IS clean and secure, but it is the smallest windowless \"room\" (4ftx9ft?) you will find, can barely turn around - it's basically a glorified capsule hotel. Yes, it's cheaper, but a tad too much, you know? Shower is directly over the toilet. The TV is moronically installed sideways, so you cannot watch it from the bed (you are looking at the left edge of it) and you cannot watch it from the folding table (it's directly above, over your head). The TV is there solely so they can say it has a TV, otherwise it's pointless. Not the best neighborhood, but not a bad neighborhood. Near \"Little India\", near subway, near markets, etc. Good WiFi, with a login password, but otherwise unsecured open access (no encryption) - use with caution (or use a VPN).

Average. The hotel is somewhat 15mins walking distance from Lavender train station & there are lots of restaurants, food court, fast food outlet around. Checked into my single sized room. It is very very small. Barely any space to walk. Telly didn't work so I was moved to another room at the ground floor. In this room, the telly worked but the picture was bad & volume fluctuated. Toilet seat was smeared with splashes of urine :( & the flush was faulty. It was flushing & flushing & flushing at every few minutes. Annoying! Nonetheless, staff Bavani is a friendly & helpful lady & that gives me some nice thoughts about this hotel.

Great room for a solo traveler

The hotel was clean and the room as advertized. It was a capsule-size room and comfortable. The room is meant for one person and basically used for sleeping and showering only...not a room to hangout in. The area was quiet and many food stalls nearby. Only a five minute walk to Lavender MRT. I recommend this hotel for a solo traveler on a budget.
