Hotel is located adjacent to Saigon Center. It is very congested with traffic in front of the hotel especially when the streets are closed during holidays and weekends. Staff always welcome us by opening the door. The room was newly decorated with some of the amenities. No free water bottles, no hair conditioner nor hand/body lotion. The room and bathroom lights are very dim for us. The bed is very good with good support for our backs. Limited hangers in the closet. We were disappointed that the self laundry is no longer available. It was available when we booked the hotel. They advertised as family amenities to use self laundry. Now we had find self laundry...The pool is nice but we didn't use it.

We loved our stay at the Liberty Central. The hotel location was ideal, within walking distance to most tourist attractions. Our room on the 11th floor was impeccably clean & modern with a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast served both delicious local and western varieties. Staff at this hotel is well trained. From front desk reception to housekeeping to restaurant attendants all are courteous and friendly. We had a blast staying at Liberty Central Citypoint and hope to come back again.

Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint Hotel is our hotel of choice whenever we make a short visit to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). Ideally located on Pasteur Street, directly opposite Takashimaya Shopping Mall, just steps from Sai Gon Square, and only 500 metres from Ben Thanh Market, the hotel offers convenient access to shopping, dining, and many of the city’s key attractions. Notable landmarks such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, War Remnants Museum, Saigon Opera House, and Saigon Central Post Office are all within easy reach.

Our room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and well-appointed. The floor-to-ceiling window offered a beautiful panoramic view of the city, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.

As always, the service was exceptional, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the efficient check-in process, and the attentive support from the entire hotel team throughout our visit.

A delightful new addition is the Häagen-Dazs outlet located next to the hotel lobby. We made it a point to treat ourselves to some ice cream before heading to the airport, a sweet ending to a wonderful holiday.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel.

I booked an Executive Room that clearly accommodates two guests. Unfortunately, I accidentally entered only one person on the reservation. My friend was scheduled to arrive very late the following night and was not staying for both nights. However, upon check-in, the receptionist, Tran Le Thao Nguyen, immediately attempted to charge me an additional fee for two full nights for the second guest.

After a prolonged and unnecessary argument, she eventually agreed to charge 700,000 VND instead. The entire situation felt extremely unreasonable and unethical. Instead of offering understanding or professional assistance, her attitude was rude and dismissive. There was no courtesy, no proper explanation, and not even a simple “thank you.” It felt like I was being penalized rather than welcomed as a paying guest.

Beyond the check-in issue, the hotel’s overall setup is chaotic. Guests are forced to share the elevators with cinema visitors, which creates constant congestion and noise. The lobby is crowded with people who are not hotel guests but are there for the cinema. This creates a messy, disorganized environment and raises serious concerns about safety and security for in-house guests.

For a hotel that presents itself at a higher standard, the management needs to seriously reconsider both customer service training and security arrangements. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet even basic expectations.

The hotel was conveniently located across Saigon Centre. Room is relatively modern and spacious, only that the room glass outer window is dusty (cannot take nice pic of the view outside). There is a CGV cinema on the lower floors hence the lifts have a semi-permanent popcorn smell inside.

Overall the hotel is location in a good area , walking distance to many D1 attractions . Rooms were clean . However , our room was never make up even when we put make up room at 930am and cam back to the hotel around 230pm. Staff were helpful and allow a later check out based on availability

Room is tiny, my room is closed to the end with an angle wall that made the room ven smaller.
Bathroom is not functional, water all over the floor when shower, toilette does not flush well, took few times.
Breakfast started 6am, 8am some food already run out.
We paid extra for executive room, it was not worth the money. The evening cocktails food was strange, not enjoyable.
Staff are nice except for the first night.

Lounge Floor - it is constantly missing something: food, gin, plates, forks, mugs, wine classes, Coffee cups, you name it. Sure - not all at once, but some of them all the time, to my mind clearly a missing management issue. Single workers always polite ans helpful - but the common \"we do\" attitude is missing.

What stands out: Friday evening xemale persone. She proactive asked if some would like to have more wine in the table. Simple gesture of service, but it was la King all previous evening.

Eigentlich hätte dieses Hotel von mir 5/5 Sterne bekommen.
Es ist modern, sehr gepflegt, hat eine top Lage, einen fantastischen Kundenservice, freundliche Mitarbeiter und ein wirklich herausragendes Frühstück.
Die Dachterrasse bietet eine tolle Aussicht und einen schönen Pool (leider jedoch recht wenig Liegeflächen).
Leider gibt es einen Punkt, der den ansonsten sehr positiven Eindruck deutlich trübt:
Das Hotel hat eine Silvesterparty auf der Dachterrasse organisiert, an der wir teilgenommen haben. Der Eintrittspreis lag bei 30 € pro Person – für Ho-Chi-Minh-Verhältnisse kein geringer Betrag, aber grundsätzlich noch akzeptabel.
Bei der Buchung sowie auf allen Aushängen wurde ausdrücklich beworben, dass Cocktails, Bier, Wein, Softdrinks und eine Foodplatte inklusive seien. Bier und Wein waren tatsächlich verfügbar – wir trinken jedoch keinen Alkohol dieser Art, sondern hatten uns aufgrund der Ankündigung besonders auf die Cocktails gefreut.
Leider gab es hier nur zwei sehr einfache Cocktail-Optionen, darunter eine kaum trinkbare Margarita-Mischung, die weder geschmacklich noch qualitativ überzeugte. Von einer echten Cocktailauswahl kann hier keine Rede sein. Sogar Wasser sollte ich plötzlich bezahlen.
Auch die angekündigte Foodplatte war eine große Enttäuschung:
Drei Cracker für zwei Personen, dazu vier sehr kleine Käsestücke (ca. 3×3 cm) und ein paar Scheiben labbriger Wurst. Wir hatten noch Hunger und haben uns Pommes von der extra Eventkarte bestellt – das günstigste Gerich

The lobby has very limited space for relax and warm & dated! Staffs keep opening doors for guests & it was very unnecessary. Lobby AC & all lighting turned off after 11pm that is ridiculous. Because when we arrived in morning, it was so hot at the lobby & I could not know why? Front desk staffs were not friendly. Cleaning staff didn’t clean rooms well ( didn’t scrub toilet bowl, often forget to restock water bottles, soap bars, toilet paper etc.
All staffs are nice except front desk. Spa was not run by hotel which made it challenging with billing & giving feedbacks

⭐️ 1-Star Review – Stay Away or Be Very Careful

I reserved a room for two people, but I mistakenly entered only one name on the reservation. Instead of offering help, the receptionist immediately demanded an extra 1,000,000 VND (about 30%). It felt like they were trying to take advantage of a simple reservation mistake.

When I refused, they suddenly reduced the extra charge to 700,000 VND (20%), which shows how unclear and inconsistent their rules are.

The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. They argued with customers, spoke in an aggressive tone, and even slammed the booking book on the table, making the situation very uncomfortable. It was clear they are not trained to handle international guests or resolve issues properly.
Additionally, the hotel was extremely noisy due to construction happening all night, making it very difficult to rest. This was never clearly communicated in advance.
I have stayed here several times before, but this will be my last stay. I feel sorry for the owner, because the staff’s behavior is seriously damaging the reputation of the property.

The property itself is maintained reasonably well, and the staff can be friendly at times, though not always consistently.
