The hotel was ok. Basic stuff that we needed. We had to get our card to our room 7 doors up the road at the Pearl Hotel and then waited ages for someone to come to reception (an office). We booked to stay at the Sapphire Hotel but was told our room was at this Pearl Hotel which I refused. There is no lift just stairs. Room was quite bare and echos. I would recommend putting in some more decor to make it more homely. Bathroom was nice and clean just the shower door was a bit stiff. There wasn’t any spoon to stir my tea which is an essential for must tea drinkers. There was only one pillow per bed and me personally I like more pillows to sleep on. The walls and ceilings are very thin you could hear everything upstairs to footsteps etc and I could hear the person staying in the next room yawning and talking on the phone so not ideal early in the morning. The traffic outside was loud at all hours. The carpet needs replacing as has marks all over it and certain areas of the room are a bit shabby. The fridge was ideal for drinks to stay cold and the fan was good for when it was hot weather days. The room was advertised as having a DVD player but it did not, so I had an unhappy child for a while!! The location was great Sainsbury’s over the road handy for essentials and loads of places to eat and a 10 min walk to the underground and overground stations.

The check-in guys were super nice and they were really responsive to messages beforehand! No issues at all with the staff, they rocked. The property itself just wasn’t super nice, and the bathroom smelled soooo strongly of cigarettes. It’s the cheapest hotel in that immediate area and you kinda get what you pay for. Overall, it was okay-to-uncomfortable, but the staff are really nice.

It was a nice stay, very friendly & helpful receptionists, just the room might need to be little cleaner and as a hotel worker before little change in the rooms such as the TV, fridge etc will really attract more customers, it's in a convenient area close to amenities, stations & Westfield Mall and shops and restaurants.

The location is great close to train stations and buses. Close to restaurants and 2 malls. It's just the room super small I like big rooms I didn't do the reservation my friend helped me. Of course in London is super expensive so probably to get a bigger room will cost more money.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that others should be aware.
On arrival, the check-in staff member was friendly and welcoming, which initially gave us some confidence. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. The room itself was clearly not cleaned to an acceptable standard — surfaces felt neglected and the overall condition was far below what you would reasonably expect.
The bathroom was particularly concerning, with a persistent sewage smell that made it unpleasant to use. On top of that, the hallway outside had a noticeable smell of marijuana, which only added to the sense that the property was not being properly managed.
When we raised these issues and asked to change rooms, communication effectively stopped. What began as a responsive front desk experience quickly turned into being ignored, with no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation.
Ultimately, we felt we had no choice but to leave early and find alternative accommodation at our own expense.
This was a disappointing and frustrating experience. Basic cleanliness, responsive service, and a safe, comfortable environment are not unreasonable expectations — and unfortunately, this hotel failed on all three.

I booked sapphire but was redirected to pearl for check in, I was then given accommodation in the pearl hotel which was a few doors down. The pearl hotel wasn’t clean but the gentleman that served me was very welcoming. I’ve stayed in the sapphire hotel before which was clean, so lesson learned - insist on staying where you booked.

I had to stay in the sister hotel as my original room was occupied but the gentleman on reception was very apologetic and helpful and put me in a bigger room. All clean, warm and comfortable only downfall was there was loud music playing mostly through the night but apart from that I would definitely stay again as it’s easier for work sometimes.

Very basic and a nice bang for the pound. Nice staff and about a ten minute walk to two different Underground stations. Please note that it is a 15 minute Underground ride to where the main touristy London activities are, but the place is a lot more reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location: 10-15min walk from Shepherd’s Bush, Goldhawk Road and Hammersmith tube stations. Also good bus connections up and down Shepherd’s Bush Road.
Generally good experience but the room was extremely hot, which strangely was not coming from the radiator. Better than being too cold but be warned. I woke up sweating both nights / mornings.

Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy my stay and wouldn’t recommend your hotel.
There was a half eaten sandwich in the fridge !!
The beds was very uncomfortable due to feeling the springs . This could have been rectified with a mattress cover.
The carpet was grubby and need cleaning.
In my opinion this was not a 3 star hotel.

The hotel and rooms are in very poor condition. There is a strong smell throughout the property, and my room smelled as if someone had been cooking in it. The walls were dirty, and the room itself was only slightly larger than a single bed. The reception was not available 24/7 and was located several houses down the street. I was unable to finish my stay and left after one night, even though I had paid for two. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.

Amazing value and convenient location. 12 mins walk from central line one direction and district/circle line the other direction. Nice staff, very clean and felt safe. Quiet if you keep the windows closed. Good beds and bathrooms, a wall fan and kettle with cups for the tiny price. A few steps away from shops and cafes for all your food needs. They even upgraded us from twin room to family. If you want a very affordable place for central London you can't beat this. I will use Sapphire again.

The Accommodation was worthy of what I paid for and about what I expected based on the reviews. The bedding and towels were clean - which was the most important part of any hotel, the only annoyance was going up 4 flights of stairs anytime I wanted to go to my room, However I was not in the room that much except for the evenings after exploring the city. Hotel is close to a lot of great food options, easy and close access to any sort of public transportation, the neighborhoods around were relatively quiet and nice to walk around, while feeling safe. They could use a good cleaning or the carpets but other than that I would most likely stay here again. The only thing I’d have to downfall is that the rooms on the top floor get hot if you don’t keep windows open, of course this means you hear the police sirens a lot more. They also should update the photos of the rooms.
