Professional Service Undermined by Lack of Maintenance

Casa Andina Premium Piura offers a polished and sophisticated base for any visit to the city, anchored by an exceptionally professional staff and a welcoming atmosphere. However, my stay highlighted several areas where the physical property and culinary consistency have begun to slip.

The hotel’s leisure amenities unfortunately do not reflect its \"Premium\" status at the moment. The swimming pool was marred by a noticeable accumulation of algae, making it uninviting for a midday swim. Furthermore, the billiard area was a significant letdown; the table was shabby and broken, serving more as a neglected piece of furniture than a guest amenity.

The dining experience was a game of hits and misses:

The Breakfast Buffet: While it featured an array of danishes, petite croissants, and sponge cakes, the textures were disappointing—dry and seemingly lacking freshness. Additionally, the fruit selection was quite sparse, and the absence of simple staples like yogurt with honey was a missed opportunity for a more complete spread.

On a more positive note, the Sunday brunch offered an impressive variety of dishes and a much higher quality of selection. However, at the current price point, it feels somewhat expensive for the local area compared to other high-end options in Piura.

Casa Andina remains a reliable, top-tier choice for security and service, but

The rooms need maintenance, they look old and I have stayed here a few years ago. The A/C unit is old and the remote was not working properly. During friday and saturday nights you can hear all the noise from the rooftop bar down the road. Staff was friendly

Nos encantaron las instalaciones, es un mix de antiguo con moderno, ambiente callado, quieto, facil para estacionar tu carro dentro del hotel, mucha seguridad.
NO nos gusto que el cajero automatico en su local no nos dejara sacar soles usando nuestra tarjeta americana, pero sabemos bien que eso no es problema del hotel, pero lo escribo como aviso a algunos turistas que necesiten y puedan sufrir lo mismo, nosotros no teniamos ni un sol y nos tuvimos que ir al Mall para buscar otros cajeros automaticos.
Esperamos volver pronto, nos gusto Casa Andina Piura y Casa Andina Chiclayo, visitamos las dos en nuestro viaje.

It was third time to stay there.
regularly I have visited in Latin America. Whenever I have time in Casa Andina, I feel it very comfortable. Piura Staffs are very kind. and the restaurants have good menu for foreigners and local people as well.
Particularly, I like exercising, the gym is quite good with proper space and dumbels.
First of all, The price also very reasonable.
You will be satisfied.

Nicest hotel in Piura so keep that in mind. Corners have been cut with new Management so if you are expecting the old \"Rio Verde\" food & feel, it's gone. Staff is terrific and you will still see many familiar faces. Rooms are clean. Pool area is great for kids.

Las habitaciones necesitan una remodelación. La zona de piscina esta muy linda. El desayuno necesita reposición constante, y no esperar que el huésped tenga que pedir algo que ya se acabó, hasta las 10 (hora que termina el desayuno) todo debe estar completo y no faltar nada. Lo mismo en el acondicionamiento de la mesa luego después que alguien se levanta, tiene que ser inmediato.

Las habitaciones necesitan ser reformadas urgentemente sobretodo los baños que son viejos, huelen a desagüe y no funcionan bien. Las toallas viejas y amarillentas. El agua es salada y huele mal también.
El aire acondicionado hace un sonido durante toda la noche que no permite un normal descanso.
El restaurante: la comida es muy mala y demoran bastante.

El hotel está muy bien en todo aspecto desde el check in, la habitación y los servicios, excepto el servicio de restaurante donde la mala atención y demora hacen que no sea buena. Sin embargo el último día de mi estadía me atendió un joven de manera excelente, lo cual me hace ver que no todos los trabajadores están en la misma capacidad. Solo ese punto a mejorar.

En principio deseaba realizar un reingreso para el día lunes, ya que por las experiencias en mi estadía en su sucursal de Lima tenía las mejores referencias del servicio que ofrecen; lamentablemente esto no ha sido así en esta sucursal desde el ingreso y el trato del personal de recepción, pondré mi reclamación ante Indecopi ya que a pesar de estar solo un día en el hotel he visto vulnerada la salud e integridad mía y de mi menor hijo de 4 años en dos ocasiones la primera cuando sin razón alguna el velador que tienen junto a la cama se cae dejando clavos y cables eléctricos expuestos a lo cual inmediatamente llame a la recepción para que pudiesen mandar a una persona para repararlo a las 11 : 45 me indicaron que mandarían a alguien a revisar y nadie se apersono hasta la 1:15 aprox que me apersono a la recepción preguntando porque hasta esa hora nadie había ido a la habitación a lo que me contestan que no sabían nada y que recién mandarían a alguien.

Segundo al retornar del almuerzo en la tarde podemos verificar que el aparador estaba ya en su posición, pero una hora más tarde me percato que dejaron una bolsa con basura botellas y latas de cerveza y demás desechos en mi habitación al lado de la maleta de mi menor hijo exponiendo su salud lo cual es gravísimo teniendo en cuenta que aún nos encontramos en una crisis sanitaria con un número creciente de contagios COVID.

Es inaudito recibir este tipo de servicio.
