Highly recommend Casa de Uco! We loved everything about it. Rooms and views are great! Its more like a boutique hotel so you are treated well at all times. You can walk the vineyard, or take a bike. They have horseback riding availabile. They provided a driver to take is on wine tours one day as well as to the town for dinner. They can coordinate the wineries to visit and assist with other activities. The food was very good. Overall relaxing and comfortable and beautiful!

Spent the weekend at Casa de Uco to unwind and relax.
A bit of a drive from Mendoza airport (roughly 1.5 hours) located at the foot of the Andes mountains and surrounded by vineyards.
Small, refined, luxurious. Never left the property.
No reason to. Had breakfast and dinner on site. Cooled off in the pool, pampered in the spa, went horseback riding through the vineyards.
Room was large, very comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the mountains and vineyards.
Staff was VERY attentive to our needs and were quick to respond to any requests. A perfect place to get away to relax and unwind.

Beautiful location in the Uco Valley.

Villa - Spacious and comfortable. with an unexpected small pool as well. comfortable bed and great linens. Good turndown, Bad things - bathroom stinks of drains as reported by other reviews, security - the windows don’t lock properly and whilst there is a lockable outer door anyone could hop up on to the deck and enter via window, . Property had good perimeter security and patrols but still was not ideal. We had a few issues but in fairness these were rectified immediately, however i felt these were things at this price point shouldn’t have been missed prior to check in,

Food - breakfast was great, options to order and small buffet. They did us a pack up for airport when we left early which was very poor - just fruit and water plus two biscuits…so if you want a pack up be specific about what you want. a restaurant food was excellent. Would also highly recommend Iris restaurant next door and the Alpasion Food truck.

Perfect in every way. Perfect to the point that we abandoned our plans for a day to go horseback riding through the vineyards, practice archery while the snow rained down, enjoy an Argentinian grill amongst the vines and a spa while the sun set. The staff and service was exceptional. We will definitely be coming back again - didn’t want to leave!!

My husband and I stayed in Villa 2 The whole experience was truly magical and we felt very much at home. There were acres and acres of vineyards to explore, plenty of quiet spaces to enjoy the sunrise or sunset and the food and wine were exquisite. The resort is situated right at the foot of the Andes mountains and waking up to that stunning view everyday was incredible and absolutely breathtaking.
The resort also offers a safe haven for rescued dogs and horses. We met Amiga, Sol, and Patroclo who were all so friendly and welcoming. You often see them wandering around the premise and their presence adds that extra charm to the property. By the end of our stay, we started thinking of maybe moving to Mendoza for our retirement! Such a beautiful place! We hope to return again to recharge and heal!

Our 2-night stay at Casa de Uco was incredible. The hotel helped arrange transportation and reservations at restaurants ahead of our trip. There were some amenities and activities included on premises but we didn’t get to use due to the short stay. The staff were attentive and personal, which made our trip felt special. Special thanks to Facundo at the front desk who was very helpful! Definitely recommend.

Very nice property with great views of the vineyards and the Andes. The room was very nice snd spacious. Service at the restaurant and room service was excellent. Areas around the property are beautiful. My only gripe is that the bathroom had a foul smell the first night. We complained and they came around and it got much better but later on the odor returned!

Tranquil retreat nestled in the Andes mountains

Among the best resorts we’ve ever stayed. This boutique hotel which has less than 20 rooms was gorgeous and blended effortlessly with the outside environment. Lots of natural light and fresh mountain air came through the building and it felt tranquil throughout. The food and wine were fantastic as well. The staff was helpful and made a genuine effort to keep the experience positive and relaxing. Wish I could have stayed a lot longer.

This property was amazing. We booked a 2 bedroom villa and it had tons of space for us 2 couples. Included breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. We really enjoyed the onsite spa and amenities. Gorgeous views and even more amazing staff. They were very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Mendoza es espectacular y vale la pena visitar por el lugar donde está ubicado. Lamentablemente no creemos volver a visitar el área de Valle de Uco. Mucho menos Casa de Uco. El servicio de hospitalidad es lo peor que tuvimos en todo el viaje lo cual es una lástima porque el lugar y sus alrededores es verdaderamente fascinante. Nos fuimos disgustados con nuestra experiencia con los trabajadores en el hotel y el restaurante. El chef espectacular, pero los chicos no ayudaban con cosas en el mismo hotel ni sabían mucho acerca de nada que se les preguntaba. El hotel no tenía cambio lo cual fue una mala experiencia con la propina. Estuvimos 4 días y ni un día la orden de comida salió como la pedíamos. Siempre se les olvidaba algo, o les faltaba algo que pedimos. No fueron atentos y no estaban pendientes tampoco. Definitivamente no lo recomendaríamos. No te hacen sentir en casa!

Overpriced and disappointing

Generally over crowded, there are only 4 loungers by the pool with no shade, generally the place felt claustrophobic, the bathroom needed maintenance and was grotty. My husband is allergic to nuts and despite advising the team of this at every step, he was given nuts on 4 occasions within the first 5 hours of our arrival. The team on the ground were sympathetic and apologetic however the General Manager was dismissive and condescending when we raised it with her. We’re not unfamiliar with hotels at this price point, my advice would be that your money would be better spend elsewhere, they have work to do to demand such a price tag.

This hotel is a dream. I only wish I had known how great it was before I arrived so I could have planned to spend more time on property. Every aspect is superlative. The physical plant is stunning. The surroundings are breathtaking. The food extraordinary (they make even a salads special with their home grown produce). The rooms are tremendously spacious and well appointed. Best of all, the staff is a friendly and helpful as one could hope. Kudos to the management!

The best place to stay in Mendoza!! First the location is almost at the foot of the Andes and perfect to drive around to vineyards. It is located in the heart of the vineyard and they offer free bikes, horseback riding, wine tasting for guests, chocolates everyday, pool, sauna, steam room, massages and the top concierge service. Amazing room with a super comfy bed, couch, and view.

Casa de Uco has amazing food, wine and the service is better than some of the top hotels I have stayed at. Don’t even hesitate, save your time to plan something else and ask the experts at Casa to help you, they are the best!

Casa De Uco is a beautiful facility. The building, grounds and rooms are very modern and luxurious. Views from the many panoramic windows are amazing, from the valley, to the vineyards, to the Andes. Frederico, Facundo and Maracay were especially helpful and attentive. The horseback riding and archery were fun and the guides made the activities fun. The food was all very good.

Absolutely breathtaking place. Casa de Uco is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at in our whole lives. We stayed in villa 1, a one bedroom villa in the middle of the vineyard - it was absolutely gorgeous, the views out of the window were spectacular and the star gazing from the rooftop bath were amazing. The food is also phenomenal. Would highly recommend a stay here!!

The only negative point on my stay was the jacuzzi that was not working, so my daughter was disappointed because the pool was too cold.
But overall it was perfect!

Loved the grounds and service. Unfortunately, during our stay they were having power problems and throughout the night the AC kept resetting making a loud noise every few hours. This happened 2 nights of our stay so we didn't sleep very well. The hotel is beautiful, pictures do not do it justice.

This hotel is magical. The architecture blends perfectly into the natural landscape. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to schedule our activities to fit certain schedules and were always smiling and helpful as we encountered them throughout the day. Valentina (concierge) is so friendly, welcoming, and positive! We had wondered whether to stay down the road at Vines but after having a lunch visit there (nice but expensive and generic) we were so appreciative for the food options (a la carte, and all fantastic) and the comfort offered by Casa de Uco. It is definitely a place I will be recommending to friends and family for future travels!

I really wanted to like this hotel, but there were too many little things that ultimately ruined the trip. The main problem was the communication between the people at guest services/front desk and the guests. We felt as though we constantly had to stay on top of them to do simple things (book a restaurant reservation, book a winery reservation, book a car, etc.) The entire front house staff need to have a 3 week boot camp on what it means to have great customer service. I think they believe they are giving the best that they can, but I just don't think they know how top hotels operate. It wouldn't take much to tweak a few things, and I left thinking that they wanted to try. Unfortunately I do not think I will stay there on my next visit. We had dinner at Siete Fuegos and fell in love with the Vines (a truly top notch hotel.)

This was one of the most incredible places I have ever stayed. The architecture and location are stunning and the rooms comfortable, quiet and luxurious. Unfortunately we were not given a tour of the property when we arrived so didn’t know about all the other amenities available such as the spa, horseback riding, archery and tours. The restaurant is of high quality and good selection. We ate there every night and were never disappointed.

Modern designer concrete hotel. Fantastic views of Andes & surrounded by vineyards.
Friendly staff, nice welcome in evening with glass of wine. pricey.
Restaurant food good - service very poor in evening for a meal on 1st night - asked 3 waiters 5-10 times for menu, drinks, orders & wine didn’t arrive until after starter, not opened in front of us or given taste. They take bottle to put on a table but don’t refill glasses (keep bottle & ask for jug of water on your table). We ate there once in 4 nights due to bad service & went elsewhere. Breakfast good and better service.
You need a car or taxi transfers - expensive 80-120 dollars USD to visit wineries for tastings, meals and airport transfers (as Uco Valley Mendoza is long way from airport & cut off).
Tranquil, quiet location - nice for walking & cycling.
Casa de Uco wine tasting & tour very enjoyable & interesting- thank you.
Staff willing and helpful to organise trips (communication between staff not always good - so we had to request trips again through a variety of staff) Drivers & wine tastings, meals at other wineries organised for us and were enjoyable.
We didn’t use the pool (as it was cold - strange it’s not heated from solar panels) it also had cloudy water and slightly dirty mouldy sides on water line so not appealing.
We had Master suite - comfortable with large bed , air con not working! Stunning views over lake to Andes and vines. Water and wine complementary in fridge - thank you.

Views were extraordinarily beautiful, architecture amazing. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating, Wine was stellar - looking forward to our next visit. Oh and take the wine tour with lunch - food there was unreal. I live in NY and go out to steak houses a few times a month, we stayed in Buenos Aires and had rib eye at Don Julio’s (was great) - ribeye at Casa de Uco blew away all other experiences. Uco Massage - 2 hours, was one of the best I ever had. Also took a hike with the girlfriend in the Andes led by a tour guide who showed us a great time. Over all one of the best vacations I have had.

Casa de Uco is not a luxury hotel

The price and pictures on the website make you think you are going to stay at a luxury hotel. Be aware that this is not going to be a luxury stay. The area is gorgeous but the hotel is not nearly living up to the expected standard. Problematic are the check-in/out speed and approach, pool, server training, food quality, room appliances, etc. The wine of the hotel is too young to be consumed by a visitor of a wine valley. And last but not least, when you book the Laguna Suite at a premium you still might end up in the basement without any view other than from your patio. Quite a disappointing stay.

This beautiful hotel is made even more beautiful by the lovely people who work here. We have just stayed three nights here - and could have easily stayed longer. We really appreciated all the kind attention by everyone - booking restaurants, wine tours, horse riding in the foothills of the Andes - anything that we wanted. There were many activities that we didn’t have time to enjoy ourselves. The property is very stylish with sweeping views of the mountains and the vineyards. The food was creative and interesting and the service was always fantastic. The location was well placed to take advantage of everything that the Uco Valley has to offer - we would highly recommend this hotel - we always felt like we were returning home at the end of our day’s adventures.

We had an amazing stay at Casa de Uco. We were there for 4 days which was perfect time to accomplish everything we wanted to: horseback riding, wine tasting, and hiking/rappelling in the mountains. The setting is completely stunning, like a painting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - they organized our whole stay. We also loved the spa, and found time for two massages. Can't wait to go back!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!

When we walked in Casa De Uco it literally took our breath away. The hotel looks out onto the vineyards, and the Mountains. The interior architecture is detailed with glass and stone, and one of the most beautiful places I've stayed at. (I travel a lot worldwide.) It is incredibly peaceful, not many people were there when we were. The staff is friendly and very attentive, the food in the restaurant excellent, They offer traditional Asado out doors as well. They ALSO offer Horseback riding, and bike riding through the vineyards complimentary! I highly recommend this! (there is a time of year where the colors are brilliant, I suggest you research it, when we were there it was overcast, in November, and still beautiful!) This is a Must!

We were told about this hotel once, and didn't pay attention to it as it was kind of remote... Once in Mendoza, we were then told about it again, and arrange to spent 2 night at Casa de Uco. The absolute best decision!! From the moment your step onto the 70 hectares property, up to the very minute you leave, you feel special! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, will full comfort amenities, available swimming-pool billard spa tennis court bikes and horses onsite, extremely good, attentive and dedicated personal ensuring nothing is left to luck, high-class onsite restaurant with accommodating chefs, and last but not least an jaw-dropping landscape of vineyards back-dropped by the Andes just a few miles away... I can't wait for the next time we'll visit Casa de Uco!!

Un lugar espectacular, cómodo, limpio, seguro y muy tranquilo.

Lo que más sobresalió fue la amabilidad y atención que absolutamente todos en el hotel y en los viñedos y bodega nos dieron! Un servicio 10 de 10, y mucho más.

La comida es excepcional, el ambiente, las actividades programadas tanto dentro como fuera de la propiedad, organizado todo por el staff del hotel

Simplesmente maravilhosa. Já fui duas vezes e essa experiência tem que ser vivida por todos que podem. O hotel é ótimo, super organizado, café da manhã uma delícia, mas o principal é a vista. Estar no pé da Cordilheira, acordar com a vista, dormir com o céu estrelado e a vista.......... Sem palavras!!!!!! Fizemos pic nic em um local reservado e foi simplesmente maravilhoso!!!!!

Vale a pena dividir a viagem entre Mendoza e Uco.

Lugar lindo, quarto maravilhoso com banheira, porém a sacada não é nada privativa, pois é dividida com a sacada vizinha por apenas um vidro baixo.
Café da manhã maravilhoso.

Fantástica. Vista maravilhosa, disponibilizaram visita guiada à vinícola (tonéis) com degustação, ótimas explicações, fizemos o passeio a cavalo pelas parreiras, e ainda tinha arco e flecha e quadra de tênis.
A piscina estava muito fria, mas usamos a jacuzzi, que fica dentro da piscina.
Café da manhã completo muito saboroso.
Só os deslocamentos para outras vinícolas que sai bem caro.
Não aceitaram pix como pagamento.

O staff do hotel é excelente! Todos os empregados são extremamente eficientes e educados. No entanto, o valor cobrado pela diária não condiz com o café da manhã servido ( uma opção de suco, por exemplo), com as toalhas do quarto ( ásperas), com a piscina que não é aquecida ( somente a jacuzzi)! Péssimo custo benefício!
