We had such a peaceful stay at Posada Salentein. The rooms are very quiet and generously sized. Beds are comfy.

The restaurant was lovely with a fabulous breakfast selection offered each morning. Staff were lovely.
The dinner menu for our stay was quite limited with only 3 items to choose for mains, with no vegetarian option. The trout main was outstanding!

The pool was lovely however could use a refresh. Water quality was perfect nonetheless.

Salentein could be even better with an activity offering of cooking class or Spanish lesson for example. A small gym or games room would fill out the day nicely.

The winery tour was enjoyable and the art gallery a lovely addition.

Beautiful facilities and setting in Valle de Uco. Located within vineyards about 1.5 km from main road. Grounds maintained immaculately. Rooms all on ground level, and spread out within forest-like landscape. Plethora of birds, including doves, pheasants and numerous South American species. Excellent food quality and service. Allowed to dine at leisure for three hours. Easy access to Salentein Bodega (about 1 km) for tour and wine-tasting. Highly recommend.

It was amazing! The room was very spacious, comfortable, the bathroom was also very clean! The breakfasts were amazing and the dinner was delicious! The natural place was incredible. Highly recommended to spend two or three days and disconnect.

Very special place!

We spent three nights at the Posada and would gladly have stayed for longer. Visiting in early autumn meant it was very quiet and so perfect for wandering the grounds. Our room was perfect with underfloor heating throughout and a complimentary bottle of their own wine on arrival. All of the staff were wonderful and very accommodating with anything we needed, and the food very nicely prepared. Guests staying at the Posada receive a free tour of the winery on site which was great for getting to know the area and wine making process more.

Wonderful way to experience the wine country.

We stayed there for 3 nights and had dinner there every night. It was quiet, sophisticated, but casual. The view from the restaurant was great and every evening we had drinks and watched the birdlife from the patio. The manager was excellent. He set up a horseback ride for us and suggested things we could do and places that we could visit. The Killka center is a stunning art gallery, small but excellent shop, and lovely place to have lunch. The winery is immaculate but you see only the tanks and barrels, no production as you do in other wineries.

Great location in Uco Valley!

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's absolutely stunning around the grounds, located near the base of the Andes Mountains. Great, traditional Argentinian breakfast daily: meats, cheeses, pastries, etc. + EGGS!! Comfortable beds. I'd suggest bringing your own pillow if you prefer a very soft/squishy pillow. Bathrooms could use some improvement, but were totally acceptable for a few nights! I stayed here with a friend during a girl's trip, and we found the staff extremely friendly and helpful when it came to assisting with drivers/taxis, restaurant reservations, etc. We didn't do the 'half board' option, but did dine on our own at the hotel restaurant one night - very impressed with the food! Do note, that the locals eat pretty late (closer to 9-11PM) for dinner, so don't be discouraged by a restaurant if no one is seated around 6-7PM.

Posada Salentein, highly recommended!

Posada Salentein is located in the middle of the vineyards, about three kilometers from the other buildings and at a slightly higher altitude, and the view is magnificent. There`s a nice swimming pool, the restaurant was elegant, the food excellent. The room was beautiful, although a bit small (we were told there were newer and bigger rooms), but the bathroom was big. The bed was very comfortable. We had a guided tour of the winemaking facility, which was interesting. The guide, Lara, was witty and knowledgeable, we quite enjoyed that. But the absolute best was the horse ride in Finca San Pablo, with Jesus as our gaucho guide. The views of the mountains, the smell of the wild herbs and flowers, the beauty of if all was unbelievable. Overall, a lovely experience. I wish we could have stayed longer.

A wonderful secluded get away

The posada is set back in the vineyards, creating a beautiful setting. The \"rooms' are bungalows, with outside porches and lovely pool. The staff is very attentive.
The Andes surround you. Food is good. The Winery tour should not be missed as it is state of the art.

Quarto espaçoso, com ótimo banheiro/chuveiro, cama excelente, café não é muito variado, pois são poucos quartos na pousada, mas atendentes preparam na hora o que pede/quer. Cortesia de uma garrafa de vinho e pode consumir as que adquire na vinícola a qualquer hora no restaurante/pousada, sem custo. Funcionários sempre solicitos e atenciosos e a visita a vinícola/bodega inclusa perfeita!
Pontos a melhorar: WiFi, apesar de cobrir toda área da pousada, mostrou dificuldade para acesso à páginas web; Traslados terceirizados e muito caros assim como passeios(bicicleta/cavalos), sugestão seria fechar melhores parcerias locais!

Excelente quarto, cama, banheiro, chuveiro, roupas de cama, toalhas e etc. Tem água com e sem gás a vontade para os hóspedes. Também tem uma garrafa de vinho cortesia.
O café da manhã era excelente, digno de 5 estrelas. Tem salmão, Parma e qse tudo que vc quiser pedir eles tem.

E todas as pessoas extremamente simpáticas, desde a recepção até o atendimento no restaurante!! Vista fantástica também. Gostamos de tudo e voltando um dia, ficaremos novamente. Ah, tem um tur de cortesia na bodega, muito bom!!!

Lugar de paz!

O local onde se situa a pousada é um paraíso! Passei cinco dias de belíssima paisagem, com várias espécies de pássaros, céu incrível… funcionários gentis, café da manhã com poucas opções mas, muito bom e produtos de ótima qualidade. Lugar ideal para casal. Voltarei com certeza. A vinicula linda e vinhos sensacionais. Restaurante da vinicula muito bom! Tudo dentro das terras da pousada. Indico!

Melhorar a informação sobre o local de check-in

Incrível. O único ponto negativo foi o check-in, que deve acontecer pela bodega. Ocorre que a pousada fica longe da bodega e o GPS direciona para a pousada, onde não tem ninguém para atender e também não tem sinal de celular. Por isso, ficamos aguardamos muito tempo alguém perceber que estávamos lá. Lembrem-se de entrar pela bodega.

A pousada fica dentro da vinicola, o local é fantástico. O staff, inclusive do restaurante é muito prestativo e simpático. Vale a pena a hospedagem. A nota não é maior em função de algumas manutenções e atualizações que se fazem necessárias nos quartos. Contudo, a estadia vale a pena só pelo local e as paisagens

Pousada impecável! Belíssima. Natureza exuberante. Ótimo atendimento. Restaurante da pousada é ótimo. A bodega é maravilhosa. Tem direto a visitação com degustação na bodega salentein gratuito. Eles te levam de carro até lá, pois a vinícola é gigante. Lugar de muita paz.

Lugar muito lindo com equipe bem treinada e muito atenta e prestativa. Restaurante com cardápio enxuto, mas que atende a qualquer paladar. Conforto dos quartos é bom, mas senti falta de um frigobar e as toalhas do banheiro estavam muito velhas, manchadas e duras.

Foi uma experiência incrível. O lugar é um paraíso. Os quartos são muito confortáveis, bonitos e limpos. O restaurante é muito bom, de alto nível. É longe da cidade. Recomendo para passar uns dois ou três dias para ter paz e se sentir um rei ou rainha.

El lugar es un encanto, con una añosa arboleda que genera un paisaje maravilloso! La piscina es fantástica! El personal muy atento! Como detalle mencionaría que sería necesario un frigobar en la habitación.
