The property is nice and a good value for the money, with beautiful views. The main issue we had was finding the place, as we arrived at night and there were no lights and the property is tucked into a vineyard quite a ways (Google maps doesn't show the correct location, just the outer gate). The hotel should consider placing more signs pointing where to go, and light things up more. We completely missed some of the signs in the dark and were lost for an hour trying to find this place.

Excellent and helpful staff. Great food and service. Very insightful for helping plan some spur of the moment visits for lunch and wineries. I really enjoyed waking the vineyards with the areas with the cute dogs and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Great hiking in mountains just over an hours drive.

The hotel was clean and nice. The drive on dirt roads to get there was not. Signage was poor and gps was wrong. Got lost in the vineyard several times. Parking was on dirt and barely sufficient. In the middle of some of the most stunning views in the entire area the siting and architecture of the hotel managed to miss them all. The staff was great and the food was good too.

Great Hotel in Wine Country

The Auberge is located in the middle of a vineyard, though it is not attached or affiliated with a working winery. In spite of some language problems, the service at the hotel was excellent, and the rooms and facility were very clean. The views of the Andes were spectacular.

I would have given the hotel a 5-star rating; however, the facility is getting tired, with a lot of paint patches, chipped countertops, outdated power outlets, and some furniture that has seen better days. The office chair in our room (as an example) had no support for the seat, and I worried about falling through.

The service was great, but language was an issue, with the front desk not always able to communicate, and issues with orders being understood in the restaurant. The food was excellent if you actually got it.

Considering that this hotel is really located in the middle of a field, and that it is far from any cities in a very rural area, these are minor inconveniences.

Also, it is important to note that the hotel is about 1.5 hours from Mendoza, and down a long series of unimproved roads. Allow a lot of time traveling to and from the hotel to pretty much anywhere.

Very nice place to stay in the middle of a winery, good size rooms and with kitchenettes for a longer stay though the restaurant is very very good , friendly service, pool is nice too. Just get accurate directions as the last 4 miles is on rocky dirt roads. I found it ok using google maps and an LTE phone signal, others didn’t, but anything less than LTE you better drive by day and look for very small signs .

Amazing views. Such a peaceful break! Our room was lovely and super clean. The staff were great and really went out of their way for us.
Main negative was the selection at breakfast and with no other shops close by, it was difficult to make it to lunch!

Overall I would definitely recommend the hotel for a short stay

The service is almost absent - despite the early departure and the included breakfast I could not get a cup of coffee. Well, the rest of the staff is not caring and friendly. It is a pity, since the hotel has a great location and I would like to return. But not with such a terrible service. Plus the problem of sound insulation of rooms (especially 20X), and you not only hear the neighbors, but also delivering everything to the hotel early in the morning, as the windows of the rooms overlook the parking lot in front of the hotel.

Great hotel and surroundings. They have an excellent kitchen but don't miss the nearby restaurant La Matera either; a great gaucho experience.
Hotel is clean and personnel is friendly. Perhaps my only comment is that they could do a little bit more with the pool as for adults it is not much more than a cooling down area.

This was a dream hotel. The inside and out of it was to die for.

Great food at their restaurant. A romantic fireplace. Terrace with lounge chairs and beds to look up to the stars at night. The bedroom was more than spacious and had a his/her bathroom sink, amazing shower, and a wonderful and comfortable bed with a small patio right outside for a late stroll.

The staff was more than nice and knowledgeable of their local area/events/attractions.

Be ready to get here by car only (rent or private).

Firstly, good things,hotel has beautiful location,very impressive estate and grounds.Vineyards supplying local wineries is definitely something very unique for a hotel.However,the property itself does not make up for very inexperienced staff which seems to have no clue what luxury hospitality is. Zero information about the grounds,facilities,attractions,activities.The front desk was unable to make bookings on our behalf claiming places are booked out or closed and we managed to make the bookings ourselves - it happened twice during just a 2 day stay...
Clearly unhappy, unaccommodating waiting staff during breakfast with no knowledge or customs to be capable of servicing guests in luxury establishment. No communication with guests, no courtesy at any level of service. The only exception was Karen which seemed to be the only member of staff capable of interacting with guests in a polite, professional and courteous manner - thank you, so great to see someone smiling! Fresh breakfast station’s quality of food below acceptable level. Custom-made omelette ordered for our first breakfast at the facility was served as basically scrambled eggs.
Very disappointing - clearly poor hotel management leads to employing unexperienced staff that is not ready to serve guests expecting 5* service.Most of the staff seemed to be surprised with simplest requests/questions.If you don't invest in the right people and staff training,even the most beautiful scenery won't make up for it

Bit of a letdown

My wife and I traveled to Chile and Argentina for our honeymoon. We stayed at Auberge Du Vin for our last night in Argentina before traveling back to Chile. We had spent the previous three nights at the Park Hyatt in Mendoza and hoped that this hotel would capture all the Park Hyatt’s amenities and combine them with great views and privacy. Unfortunately Auberge Du Vin fell short. There were some very nice things about the hotel – the property is absolutely beautiful as are the views. However, it’s very difficult to access – it’s okay if you want to stay put, but not a particularly good option to visit other vineyards. Everyone at the hotel was very nice, but it’s definitely not a boutique hotel level of service. It’s more like your standard medium range US hotel (Hampton Inn, etc.). The food was also okay – not bad, but not great. They also only produce one wine themselves – a Pinor Noir (though it was very good). Again – good place to stay if you want privacy and views, but don’t expect a luxury experience.

The hotel is very nice, new and clean. It is located in a very remote area that is only reached by 20 minutes on a very rocky road. Absolutely nothing else around. The staff was friendly, spoke a little english. Overall, it has an empty feeling to it. The hallways echo and the staff were quite noisy. Our room had a nice view to the vineyards, but no explanation or infomation if these are part of their winery? Also, the room had a small kitchen area but since there is no place within 30 miles for groceries, not sure why. The room was large, but ours had a terrible smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. The restaurant was acceptable for breakfast, the dinner menu was a bit limited but they are accommodating to modifications. If you are staying there more than two nights it gets a bit monotonous. Beware, there are no other options. Outside areas including the pool were not well maintained, the chairs and pool were dirty. Inside lounge was cozy and had a nice big fireplace that was lit upon request.

Romantic getaway for wine lovers

We loved the secluded setting within a vineyard, the room (110) was huge with a wood burning fireplace, amazing mountain and vineyard views, confortable bed, great te with Tom's of pay per view movie channels, free wifi a safe in the room and great water pressure in the extra largue shower.
The Épico restaurant served delicious Gourmet meals at night and a very yummy breakfast in the morning.
There is a gym, a nice pool and a cozy living room with a fireplace in front of the hotel bar.
Service was great and staff was friendly and helpful. They booked all our excursiones and vineyards visits. We recommend To go to Estancia La Alejandra for a wonderful meal and a horseback ride at the base of the Andes.

Make sure that you rent or bring a car that can handle dirt roads.

Fairly new, modern, basically just a Holiday Inn

For American travelers: This is a condo hotel in the boondocks. Fairly new, modern but very sterile. Not a piece of artwork in the whole place. No daily room services, bellman or valet. There is a self laundry with one washing machine. Well off the beaten path. 15 minute rocky (talking boulders here) \"road\" to the entrance. The room was fairly spacious and had a kitchenette with starter coffee. Hard mattress. The AC was loud and minimal. Should you need it, the TV has English channels. Free Internet hit or miss. Both sliding door locks (we were on the 1st floor backing to the vineyard) were broken off, the staff just shrugged and said its safe here. I'm sure it is.

Barren but nice enough pool with cabanas. Guys, need to clean the furniture.

I will say, the front desk was as helpful as possible with reservations and the cuisine in the restaurant was actually very good. . That said, its \"fine\" for a night or two but NOT as your destination. For the price I recommend spend a bit more and stay in a winery posada.

Tudo muito bom, quarto grande e confortável com um banheiro gigante. A única coisa que me incomodou foi uma parede de pedra que tem no espaço perto da cozinha onde serve as refeições, essa parede tem um cheiro de esgoto/vomito, depois que sentei do lado dela aquele cheiro não saia mais quando entrava no ambiente.

It's really difficult to understand what Auberge du Vin means. There is absolutely nothing specific about the wine in this hotel. Ok, the place is around a vineyard, during grape season you can see lots of Malbecs on the balcony, but I wanted a little more wine culture. A complimentary bottle of wine in the room would be better than a bottle of water. Maybe pairing dinner or tasting local wines. So it's a good hotel, but as good as many in the world

Muy mala atención en recepción, tuvimos un inconveniente con el pago de hoteles.com y nos atendieron muy mal en el hotel, sin mínima actitud para resolver el problema (que en parte era de ellos), haciéndonos esperar más de 1 hora en recepción con nuestra bebé dormida en brazos. Ninguna intención de ofrecernos un lugar más cómodo para estar mientras se solucionaba el inconveniente y muy mala actitud de las chicas del hotel.

Luego, al ingresar después de una hora a la habitación, el televisor no funcionaba, una persona tuvo que entrar 3 veces, mientras nosotros estábamos en la habitación, para solucionar el problema (que mínimamente podrían haber chequeado antes de hacer ingresar a la habitación).

Nice location and very large rooms. I was in an extremely noisy room with lots of noise from the bar/restaurant and reception area which made it hard to sleep at night.
One wonders why it’s not possible to buy a single glass of wine in the bar in a hotel in the wine lands. And why is the minibar empty in a 5 star hotel.
But overall a comfortable stay.

Hotel limpo e novo. Comida muito boa. Porem, um dos principais cartoes postais do hotel, a piscina , nao e climatizada e e muito gelada, nao da para utilizar ( e estivemos em epoca do verao, temperatura de 34 graus ). O hotel fica no lugar lindíssimo e é muito confortável.ficou a desejar em alguns itens como academia e alguns atendentes sem paciência. No mais amamos ter ficado no hotel. Recomendo.

En líneas generales es bueno el hotel , muy caro por lo que brinda .. calculo que será por la época que viaje , ósea pague como un 5 estrellas un hotel que le falta para esa categoría .. pero es bueno ..

Hotel bom, precisa melhorar a infraestrutura

O hotel tem uma vista maravilhosa, o quarto é bem confortável, banheiro espaçoso (chuveiro muito bom), porém por estar distante de tudo deveria ter melhor infraestrutura não tem sauna, não tem piscina interna (a piscina externa não é aquecida). O café da manhã é incrível (ressalva para o iogurte natural o melhor que já provei). O restaurante Épic é excelente.

Difícil acesso, lugar para descansar e ficar. Restaurante mto bom, café da manhã mto bom. Quartos poderiam ser mais confortáveis, academia grande mas estava sujo, pouca manutenção… acho q a piscina poderia ser aquecida e dar mais opções de coitada para fazer como passeio bicicleta, cavalo etc

O Auberge du Vin me decepcionou imensamente. As instalações do hotel são razoáveis, mas merecem uma bela reforma. O cardápio do restaurante próprio é bem limitado e o acesso é complicado. O atendimento, à exceção do time do restaurante/bar e de uma recepcionista do turno da noite chamada Jennifer, é muito pouco profissional. As amenidades indicadas na descrição do hotel (bicicletas, cavalos e spa) são terceirizados e seu planejamento/acesso é complexo. Enfim, o hotel definitivamente não vale o que cobra.

Otimo custo beneficio

Quarto confortavel e espaço. A parte externa esta precisando de manutenções, pinturas e alguns vidros rachados. Atendimento bom, mas tinham pouca informacao sobre teste de covid, necessario para voltar ao Brasil.
