Nice hotel, nice breakfast, great location and I have stayed there many times. The bad part is that they now charge for parking for the first time, which is ridiculous. You can park on the street or anywhere around the hotel for free. For some reason, with booking the hotel on Expedia, I was able to avoid the parking fees. When. I was checking out, the hotel clerk said, \"I don't know how you avoided the parking fees!\" And I said, \"Good! See you later. \" Then I left the hotel.

Breakfast was good. Wasn’t told about the new charge for parking. Was only $5. The biggest thing that bothered me was the construction workers that stayed there drinking beer outside of my room at 2:00 A.M. on a Thursday morning. You are charging for parking and require a parking tag, so monitor the lot. One other issue was that that hairdryer almost went on fire when I turned it on. No maintenance guy was available, but it was quickly replaced. The hotel is obviously working with as little staff as possible.

Good- the beds were comfortable.

Bad - room 204 the sink was clogged. The tv was positioned wrong in the room. The desks are in between the sofa and tv. the bed by the ac I couldn’t see the tv.
The pool was down for maintenance. I asked the representative at the front desk where the pool was as the kids and I were excited to go swimming. He let us get our swimsuits on and find out ourselves. The courtesy would have been just to tell us that the pool was closed for maintenance.
The whole reason we got a room at comfort was to get in the pool.

The hotel seems fairly new, however, the issues with the rooms don't seem to be kept up. Our bathroom fan was broken; lights weren't connected to the room switches in the sofa area or bed area; safe battery was dead; a/c was making a weird whistling noise.

Although the room was nice and set up nicely, these were just issues that should be resolved.

The hotel’s location is very convenient and close to the main attractions in Dunnellon. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. However, during our stay the hotel did not provide housekeeping services, so fresh towels were not provided and the garbage was not picked up. Breakfast had the same selection each day.

Breakfast included mini waffle and regular size waffle maker, traditional waffle batter and cinnamon role waffle batter, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, grits, oatmeal, bananas and apples, yogurt, boiled eggs, bagels, cereals, juices, and coffee. We had a double occupancy with pull out couch and the room is very roomy and clean. Pool is outdoors and well maintained. Safe quiet area close to Publix, Walmart, bealls, and other shops and restaurants. Close to Rainbow River and Canon Farms. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay again if I found myself in the area needing a room.

The property is showing wear and age. During a five night stay the room was never cleaned or re stocked, we had to go to the front desk to get clean towels and replenish tissue and toilet paper. The backside of the property buts up to a wooded area and is populated with a very sketchy crowd, would not recommend to park on the backside.

The doors to the room had a big gap at the bottom of the door. You could hear every sound ! You need to make the doors/? Soundproof! The bed was comfortable, every sound outside was audible and woke us up!!! Hopefully the other floors are quieter. Sleeping was not optimal. Your staff was great!

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The pool was closed for most of our stay. The laundry facilities were horribly overpriced- $3.75 per load to wash or dry ONLY. To wash and dry a full load it was $7.50. At other hotels I frequent, the price to wash or dry is $1.50 - $2.00. The staff were great and the room was clean, but due to the other things I listed, I won’t book another stay there.

The night attendant went 0 to 60 testy about the towels. The only way he would give us two more towels is if we physically brought down our dirty ones. It was perplexing to say the least. After learning that the hotel has lost many towels to beach goers, I told him we had taken our own beach towels from home. It made no difference. The next morning, the day attendant gave us plenty of them and just wrote down our room number. Made much more sense and very kind about it. BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS, regardless. Common courtesy was probably destroyed by previous hotel guests and we received hostility because of it. Not a pleasant encounter.

The room was very clean, bed linens were nice white and crisp. pillows were very great, they had firm and soft ones which I thought was a nice thing to offer, towels were very large, white and clean. All the bathroom fixtures had been replaced with really nice ones. There are only two things I can say that is negative about the room, the carpet is old and needs replaced and the other thing is the price for one night was insanely high. I won't go back to this hotel for this reason, otherwise I would love to visit again. Don't let the free breakfast draw you here, it was terrible. Biscuits weren't done and the gravy was like paste, the coffee was terrible.

The room ans property was very clean. However, my check in experience lacked. The person checking me in stated we would not have cleaning service for the three days we would be there. When I questioned that and asked again if I could not have cleaning service. He said I could bring down towels and he would replace.
On the bathroom mirror was a small sticker stating the cleaning process, but said if cleaning service was needed to contact the front desk and request.
