Pleasantly surprised. No expectations but a clean and comfortable, safe place in the jungle. Perfect stay for a beautiful relax with lots of activities. Close walk to town (12 mins), and easy walk to zipline.

Fantastic quiet huts in the jungle. Food quality was amazing! We loved the open air huts. Watching monkeys in the trees.

They arranged activities for the kids.

If this place had a pool, it would be perfect.

Simple Jungle Experience

The Eco Jungle Resort was lovely. Located adjacent to the river and off the main strip it offers simple accommodation . The resort was very well laid out and the buildings were in keeping with the surroundings. Very nice and helpful staff. Food was really tasty and very good value

Gran experiencia en familia

Gran experiencia en mi viaje familiar al parque nacional Khao Son. La habitación que yo había reservado para mi familia no me pudo ser entregada por problemas de ruido de una construcción y el staff del hotel junto con su manager resolvió el inconveniente de manera majestuosa y nos acomodó en dos hermosos bungalows junto con desayuno de cortesía. Estos inconvenientes a veces pasan pero lo que hace a un hotel un lugar maravilloso es como las personas se esmeran en atenderte.
Hice varias actividades contratadas con el hotel y salieron estupendas. Solo recomiendo mejorar algo el mantenimiento de los baños pero no por esto dejo de darle mi mejor calificación al hotel.

An awesome, unique stay

We drove up from Phuket to stay one night in Khao Sok, and partook in the night safari and the bamboo rafting the following morning. I just wish we could've stayed longer and done one of the hikes on offer. We stayed in one of the regular mud houses and it was super comfortable. There is plenty of wildlife just in the resort alone. The tours, while a little expensive, are well worth it, and we can't wait to come back.

Be prepared

You should be prepared. Go to this hotel fully in the knowledge that you will be sharing your room with ants, cockroaches, lizards etc. Our bathroom was covered in ants, climbing up and around the toilet which made it undesirable to spend too much time in there. We found the hotel restaurant great, but if you want some variation there is a street of restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. The staff were very helpful in organising tours and activities for us.

The property is right on the river, quaint, and the food was delicious. We stayed there for their community approach and organic farm - but once arriving, we didn’t really see any of that happening. The yoga and massage offered on the website seemed non-existent. We didn’t even know where to find these things and they were almost twice the cost of doing it in town, so didn’t make much sense to spend the money when it’s not inviting. They kept the grounds immaculate, but the place seemed a bit off the beaten path. You had to walk quite a ways to get to town (no shuttle, bikes, or motorbikes) and they have absolutely no lights near the resort or along the road into the resort (which is not short either) at night - which is bizarre and scary. The sad part is they don’t offer you a flashlight either. The rooms are cute, but have no AC and are open air, making things quite damp inside. We wanted to have a drink and chill at the bar both days, as it was raining, but the bar does not open until 5 pm. Overall, I’d say the place doesn’t match the beautiful website and delivery presented, but it was decent. Next time, we’ll check out Our Jungle Camp.

Awesome stay in a jungle camp

Awesome stay at this jungle retreat. From the moment we checked on to the moment we left the staff were really helpful and friendly.
We booked the elephant trip and the full day lake tour - both were well worth the money.
The Room was a treehouse and was clean and comfortable.

Loved the view from our rice paddy hut!. A beautiful setting. Service was great and food was excellent. The main problem was that it cost allot of money to do anything. Almost anything you wanted to do came with a price tag. Even going for a walk in the National Park cost 300 BAHT each time.

Property was very cute and well kept. Treehouses were fun to stay in. Animal noises at night are extremely loud making it uneasy to sleep. Treehouses don’t have sealed walls so all types of insects or lizards are allowed in at all times. The bar & restaurant food was actually pretty decent but everything has a 7% charge to it so it gets expensive. National Park entrance and other restaurants and shops are about a 15 minute walk up the road. Lots of monkeys in the trees near the restaurant.

Great place to say - an 'experience' more than simply a hotel or resort. Beautiful area and friendly helpful and welcoming staff. On-site restaurant is very good too. It's basic accommodation but surprisingly comfortable for what it is. Just be aware that the jungle is super noisy at night - we had to sleep in earplugs. Measured closed to 100 decibels of noise from frogs and cicadas on our terrace. Bit like trying to sleep next to a dentist's drill - but that's nature not the camp's fault. And we're city types so we're not used to this kind of thing!

A piece of Paradise

From the moment we arrived until the sad moment we left, Our Jungle House was a little piece of paradise for us.

The grounds are beautiful, the location stunning. The treehouses are built with local materials and blend in perfectly. They creak a bit, they sway gently now and again, but this is to be expected. What was not expected was the soundtrack of the gently gurgling river that passed by 10 metres away and provided a calming presence. Great care has been taken in the layout of OJH, and this shows.

The staff are uniformly delightful, full of smiles and always ready to help.

The site manager, Stuart, is ever present and a great guy with a lovely young family.

The food is as good as anywhere, the backdrop would be hard to better. So good is the food that we chose to do the cookery class and had an absolute blast for 2 hours with the utterly delightful kitchen staff.

We also did the ½ day trek which was unforgettable due to our amazing guide Rango (ask for him) who was able to show us many different reptiles and spiders, including a King Cobra, Geckos of various types, a large Monitor Lizard, a Black Widow and numerous Macaques and lemurs.

The tubing was a lot of fun, the scenery stunning.

Finally, we did the overnight lake trip. This is not to be missed. The lake and surrounding mountains are the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We had a very funny and informative guide called Leam who made the trip so much better.

OJH is not to be missed. Just go!

Brilliant hotel to explore Khao Sok from

Our Jungle Camp is well positioned for those wanting to explore the beauty of Khao Sok. There hotel itself gives a good feel of being in the jungle whilst giving the peace of mind of safety.
They have a private driver who will drive you to the airport, bus station or to any local activities free of charge which is brilliant. All their ice is made from purified water too which is a nice touch for an international traveller.
They do also sell activities at the hotel but I'd recommend going to the street nearby and haggling for a better deal - you can get most things for half price if you stand your ground.
Overall this is a lovely place and I would happily return.

Incredible rustic stay in the jungle!

Fantastic stay! My wife and I booked Our Jungle Camp for a quick 3-night stay in Khao Sok.

The main staff doesn't speak a ton of english so it can sometimes be difficult to understand the full story of this place. But if you speak to the General Manager, you can really feel the passion and energy put into making this place special.

All of the buildings and huts are made from sustainable bamboo, plus they have an onsite organic farm where they gather herbs and vegetables for their garden.

Superb location right near the entrance of the National Park, but secluded enough away from the downtown that you get peace and quiet in the middle of the jungle.

Fantastic place to stay. Great Treehouse; Great tours; Great staff. My 2 boys did a cooking class with the Chef who was awesome with them - & they produced a fantastic Thai meal for our dinner. Only downside was having to pay in cash & a number of overcharges on the final invoice (which did get sorted)

Brilliant Stay

Had a great stay at the Jungle Camp Eco Resort. The staff couldn't be more helpful, considerate and kind. The restaurant was brilliant the best food we've had in Thailand and again the staff were lovely. We did two trips which were well organised-the wildlife trip to the Lake was fantastic with a wonderful guide, beautiful scenery and seeing an elephant in the wild was the highlight of our visit.

Great Location- Comfy Tree House.

Great staff, the GM sat down with us and went through everything at check-in, including local restaurants, excursions and things to do in the area. Our tree-house was clean and comfortable in a serene environment. Breakfast is not included, but they have many options on the menu for meals. We had laundry service which was both quick and cheap. We were close to the national park entrance so we could get some hiking in and were very happy with the excursions offered by Our Jungle Camp. Bathrooms were great, we had hot showers in the evening and the mosquito nets and incense they provided kept the mosquitoes away.

Dépaysement garanti, le site est très bien aménagé et le personnel très serviable. Le village est a 10 minutes à pieds. La journée au lac proposée par l'hôtel était au top, un grand merci à notre guide Rango qui était parfait.

Bel établissement orienté sur l’écoresponsabilité (d’où peut être des prix un petit peu plus élevés pour l’alimentation / boissons), nous avons adoré être dans la faune et la flore du parc national de Khao Sok. Nos enfants ont apprecié les hamacs et l’espace jeu. La bonne humeur du personnel est vraiment délicieuse. Nous y étions en période des pluies, impressionnant. Des panchos sont très pratiques en revanche, il est très compliqué de faire sécher des affaires en cette période. Il y a possibilité de laver du linge à l’hôtel et dans le village mais il faut espérer aucun coupure de courant et pour le séchage sans machine, 24-48h minimum s’il n’y a pas de soleil :-). En bref, nous avons aimé être dépendant de la nature.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Tage im Jungle Camp waren fantastisch! Unser 2-stöckige Apartment lag direkt am Fluss. Morgens und abends bekamen wir Besuch von den Affen, was unsere Kinder besonders freute. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und versuchte jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Die Aktivitäten waren cool, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passte. Das Village sowie der Eingang zum Nationalpark sind nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt.

Paradis! Endroit magnifique pour se reposer ! Expérience unique ! Les gens qui y travaillent sont adorables ! Le restaurant propose les meme prix que partout et c’est super bon et très clean! Pleins d’activités à faire !
Vraiment rien a dire !

- juste sachez que vous serez dans le jungle ( donc bcp de bêtes dans la chambre et de hors, et bcp de bruits d’animaux le soir et le matin! On avait l’impression de dormir dehors mais ça fait du bien !

Sehr schöne und relativ neue Einrichtung, die sich gut in die Umgebung einfügt. Nicht nur optisch sondern auch durch ihr ökologisches Konzept. Das Resort ist bemüht darum, nachhaltig und umweltverträglich zu agieren. So verfügt es über einen Garten mit eigenem Obst und Gemüse und stellt gefiltertes Trinkwasser, statt Plastikflaschen zur Verfügung. Unser persönliches Highlight war der Übernachtungsausflug auf den Stausee. Das Restaurant im Resort war qualitativ gut jedoch preislich im oberen Bereich angesiedelt. Wer günstig und auch gut essen möchte ist in 10 Minuten in der „Stadt“. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, super nettes Personal.

Belle expérience dans la jungle!

Très beau resort situé un peu en retrait de l’action. Tout était parfait. Le seul aspect négatif a été la dureté des lits et l’humidité dans la cabane dans les arbres la nuit, mais ça fait partie de l’expérience! Je recommande cet endroit sans hésiter!

Un resort éco qui tient sa promesse, pas de bouteilles ni pailles en plastique. Bien situé à l'écart du petit centre ville, à 10 minutes de l'entrée du parc de khao sok. Logement dans une hute assez agréable, moustiquaire et ventilateur fournis. Seul bémol, notre hute située à proximité d'un camp de jeunes, plutôt bruyant. Excellant restaurant qui s'adapte bien aux papilles européennes, petit déjeuner à la carte. Potager dans le parc. Un resort à recommander si vous aimez la nature

Super hyggeligt sted. Vi sov i Bambus hytter under et myggenet. Udsigten er fantastisk og servicen er i top. Det eneste minus er at bambus hytterne er åbne, hvilket betyder at der kommer en del kakkelakker til.

Fajne miejsce ale czy warte swojej ceny?

Ciche i spokojne miejsce oddalone od głównej drogi w wiosce. Domki bardzo fajne. Mieliśmy duży domek na palach tuż przy rzece. Domek był piętrowy z 2 sypialniami co sprawiło dużo komfortu dla rodziny 2+2. Można samemu pospacerować po okolicy oraz wybrać się do parku. Za wejście do parku należy zapłacić i nie jest należy kojarzyć tego wejścia do parku z pływanie po jeziorze. Dojazd do jeziora zajmuje 1.3h Minusem było brak śniadania i konieczność dokupienia z wyborem z menu. Wybór skromny w menu śniadaniowy. Jedzenie dobre jak to często w Tajlandii a ceny wyższe niż w centrum wioski. Obsługa w hotelu bardzo pomocna pomogła ogarnąć wycieczki i kolejny transfer w inne miejsce. Fajne ciche miejsce pośród zieleni ale czy warte swojej ceny? Ja wybrałbym coś tańszego.
