I can’t recommend this place enough. When my useless hotel in Kyoto had issues with shipping my luggage to Okinawa (I was already in Hiroshima when they informed me about this) they were absolutely no help and basically told me “sucks to suck” the amazing staff somehow managed to get my luggage rerouted to the hotel and it was sitting in the lobby waiting for me the next morning. Amazing staff and amazing place. I will be coming back again one day

You cannot beat the location, as it is right on the main drag and across from the water, and close to the ferry. It’s also close to shops and restaurants. The staff is very helpful, as I had misplaced an item and they were able to hold it for me. The onsen in the basement is great. The tatami mats in the room are fine, and the futons are also comfortable. The bathroom is a bit outdated, but everything works.

The most exceptional things about the hotel are the staff and the cleanliness of this traditional type of accommodation. If I could rate this hotel 11/10, I would. Breathtaking views from our gorgeous room with tatami, futon and private bathroom. There's a traditional Japanese shared bath in basement too. It's about 200m from ferry and 300m or so from the shrine. Don't stay anywhere else

Good location. Our only problem is the bathroom is too small. No space to move around especially if you are a tall perso or too big. But the bed are comfy. Check out is 10am and they won't let us extend.

A cute, clean experience in a typical Japanese Ryokan! The onson was lovely even though its in the basement with no view. Oddly, there were very few restaurants on the island open for dinner. We did find an excellent local one. The beat part was the view of the harbour and hike and tram up the mountain!!!

It was very tiny. But grateful we didn't have to share one like in other traditional ryokans. You can order a light breakfast for 500yen when you check in. There's also a bath downstairs. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was great and location was perfect. Desk staff was friendly and accommodating to our request to leave bags for a bit while we explored after checkout. Only issue was the air conditioning unit really sunk up the room so we couldn’t use it, and were overly hot all night.

Hotel is easy to find, very close to the pier at Miyajima. The concierge was very friendly and provided some tourist maps and info about the island. The hotel had a small sento bath in the basement that I used. The room I had was the traditional Japanese style room with the futon on the floor. It was spacious and tranquil.

A Good Place To Stay On Miyajima
The Ryokan was well situated next to the ferry landing. The room was spacious and clean. They only had one shared shower for the guests if they preferred not to use the public bath (onsen), but we had no problem using it at odd hours. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay there..

Hotel is excellently sited, just a short walk from the ferry. It is not fancy but I appreciated that. there is an onsen in the basement, which was news to me. Our room was listed as mountain view but it actually had some water view. Breakfast is available for a small fee. I enjoyed my time here, after all one doesn't travel to Miyajima to stay in the hotel room!

Really friendly place near the ferry terminal so easy to drop off bags and see the sights. Room was pretty big although we paid extra to have a sea view. Breakfast pretty basic.

A good hotel to stay if you want to enjoy the island of Miyajima without stressing about time. I only stayed one night so I didn't use the hotel much besides for sleeping, but the hotel design was beautiful and the rooms elegant and clean.

I was a little bit afraid about spending one night at Miyajima thinking in a small place with not much to do. But a great combo between the island and the hotel make it easy to consider that as a really good decision. Room is very traditional, cozy and perfect in space. Staff was very kind and helpful with indications and suggestions.

The hotel is only a short walk from the ferry terminal and provides easy access to the lovely esplanade walk to Itsukushima Shrine. Stafff were very friendly and helpful. Sea view room with bathroom was clean, comfortable and well set up. Very reasonably priced. A simple but good breakfast is also available for a very cheap price.

Nice stay here, friendly staff and really nice breakfast sandwich. Good facilities. Short walk to subway. Osaka is easy to get around so in comparison to Tokyo so you are never too far away from the centre. Nice craft beer bar back towards the station I’d recommend.
