Hotel is in terrible shape. I’ve never seen such filthy worn carpets in many decades of travel through Europe. They charge a lot for breakfast as well as for the airport shuttle both ways to the airport.

Terrible room , and I booked early.. Wasn't last minute.
Dirty carpets on the hallway, no soap , toilet paper in the bathroom. They offer transfer from airport but never mention have to pay 8 euros P/P. Also transfer back from hotel do airport . I payed 348.42 U$ for one night . Big mistake. They show pictures , bit isn't that when we arrive. They put us to another building . I asked no smoking place...Just disgusting smell everywhere...Very disappointed . I wish we book at the Hilton connect to the airport and no transfers fees to bring to airport .

Best western fiumicino airport the section we stayed in was terrible , smelled bad , room was terrible shower door was broken washroom was small you sit on the toilette and you hit your head on the sink, the elevator was like a death trap and the security doors were not secure at all we jus pulled the sliding doors open I was very disappointed but the staff was really good and it looks like the new part of the hotel looks good.

The property was very clean, nice bathroom, beds were comfy. Staff were also very helpful and pleasant. The only disappointment was the reataurant/bar. The hours were 6pm to 10pm. We had to walk to find a restaurant outside those hours.

The place was very close to airport and did have some great features but the bed was extremely hard and pillows very thin
The room we were given had pieces of the wallpaper off at the seams
They are however renovating another section there so maybe this area will be done as well
Also where it wasn't summer season they turned the AC off so despite being 24 degrees there it was really hot in the room
Everything was also very dusty in room as well

The staff here were incredibly helpful. This was a quick stay so that we could be on time for our flight the next morning. Location was amazing. Shuttle was efficient. The bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. And the sheets felt like paper. But otherwise everything was great.

Very nice and easy stay the night before our flight out of Rome. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient and we stayed in a family room, which was large and had enough bedding for our entire family (one large bed and 2 twin beds)

The staff was very helpful. I love the Chinese restaurant they recommended, just around the corner. I had not eaten Chinese food in a month
The hallways were rather threadbare, but for my one night before catching a plane back to California, it was fine
The adjacent restaurant on the property was excellent for dinner and a terrific staff

Extremely convenient and pretty well kept. Just be careful if you’re staying on the ground floor. I think I heard someone get robbed in the morning while she was taking her suitcases out of the room. Don’t leave your bags unattended even for a second.

The room was clean, but the property (parking lot) was littered with trash. The reception area was very nice, but the hallways and elevator in the building where the rooms are was aged and not as well maintained. The check in staff was impatient but helpful. The check out staff was friendly and helpful. I walked around many parts of Rome at night over the last 8 days and felt completely safe, but I do not feel safe at this location after leaving the hotel. And it sounded like the planes were landing outside our window.

Had a such horrible experience for the last stay in Rome. I booked this hotel via Hotel.com. And there has a highlight showed for Free Shuttle bus to the airport which attracted me. When I checked out in this morning, the staff in front desk told me I owe them €20 for shuttle bus. €8 for each way and another €4 for city tax. And I tried to show them the website’s highlights for FREE SHUTTLE BUS. And the bold guy in front desk told me it’s not free, it’s just free for your experience??? And also because I booked via Hotel.com which is not their business!! But ended up they said is their technical issues which I have to pay for it!! Excuse me??? Have you heard yourself???

Room was very dated, scuffs on walls, dodgy kettle, no bottled water. Lift was bashed in places and corridor carpet disgusting. Bathroom tiny. Overpriced stay. Our previous hotel in Rome was luxury for almost half the best western price. I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

When selecting a hotel for a last-minute stay due to a flight delay, we selected this hotel because it appeared (due to pictures and description) to be very close to shopping and dining. It is NOT. It is walkable, but not through a very nice area. Also, you will pay €8 pp for shuttle service to/from the airport which is efficient and convenient. The room is a little cramped and hallways are dated with old carpeting, but we also didn’t pay top dollar for the stay. We did not take advantage of the on-site restaurant, but instead opted for the 15-minute walk to the restaurant area close to the marina. Staff was courteous and fully bilingual Italian/English.

The staff was amazing, especially Andrea. We arrived at the hotel pretty late, after a long day of traveling, I was in a pretty bad mood from a terrible flight and lack of sleep. But when we walked in door and Andrea greeted us with a warm smile, it felt like coming home, and instantly improved my mood. She did everything she could do ensure we were happy. Staff was friendly on check in and check out. Reception building was nice. The room wasn't great. The thermostat didn't work so the room was really hot. We turned it down from 21.5 as low as it would go to 18.5, and the air/fan did not turn on. We opened the window, but there was no screen and planes fly over the hotel so it's loud with the window open. The shower did not drain properly, so by the end of each of our showers, we were standing in a base half full of water. There was a single wall mounted hair, hand and body wash tube by the sink, and another in the shower so amenities definitely lacking. The first thing we saw when we sat in the bathroom, was dark hair on the floor. The shower base was old and it was not well maintained. The bedskirts and curtains were stained, which didn't instill confidence about overall cleanliness. The \"grate\" inside the room entrance, opened into the ceiling above, and was dirty. The hallway carpet was quite dirty and old. The room cost CAD $252 in November, which felt high considering the room conditions. We suspect they're charging for proximity to FCO. Not what we expected from Best Western, or for how clean we found other properties in Italy.
